The Sea Titaness and The Serpent's son Headcanon
Y/N Jones is the son of Tethys, the Titaness of the Seas, Freshwater, and nursing mothers and the clear-sighted mortal Lucas Jones, FP's younger brother. Y/N's father love to reads Greco-Roman mythology, FP always teases his little brother about it.
Y/N has close relationship with his father and mother, when he was younger, it's unknown what his relationship with his paternal uncle and cousin.
Lucas never tell his older brother about his son's existence, because he wanted to protect his little boy from dangers, when Tethys introduce the Greco-Roman world to him, instruct him to protect their son from the Gods and their children, She didn't know how the Gods will react towards a Demi-Titan being born in the modern era.
Tethys was an kind and caring mother, she make sure that Riverdale's stream has a Potamoi God in it, to protect her Demi-Titan son.
Tethys has always remain neutral in the first Titanomachy war with her nieces and nephews, but Tethys can be protective over all of her children including you.
Lucas and Tethys first meet each other, he use cheesy flirting with Tethys, much to her amusing. Both of them fell in love with each other, at the end of the month of them are dating. When Tethys and Lucas was dating, she reveal that she is an Titaness, he was amazed that the Greco-Roman world exist under his nose, Tethys was scared that he will leave her and thinking that she is crazy, instead he proves her wrong by giving her, a soft kiss on her lips, telling her that he loves her for who she is, Tethys was happy to find a man that loves her for being herself, the only man that loves her is her husband, Oceanus, but since Oceanus and her haven't been together for centuries, but they still act civil with each other, Lucas is the first mortal man to win her heart, they decided to continue their relationship. In the year 2000, Months later, Tethys has given birth to their first and only child, a boy, named Y/N Jones, Tethys immediately grow to love her baby boy, since Tethys's 6000 children (all of them) are adults, she can't baby them anymore, but she always helps them in raising their children, always gives her children advice on how to raise their children.
Tethys's nieces, The Fates, themselves allow her to raise her son with Lucas, as the Fates decided to allow most of the Gods/Titans to raise their demigod or Demi-Titan children, because they believe that if a immortal raise their child/ren together with the mortal parent, that child will develop a strong connection to both world (the Greco-Roman and mortal world), they can help their immortal parent to understand the mortal world more.
Tethys and Lucas lives in Riverdale, but since Tethys is a Titaness, she often visit if she comes.
As Y/N is the son of one of the Twelve Elder Titans (Tethys), making him powerful than those of his cousins (6 Elder Olympians) demigod children.
Author notes: Do y'all want me to make a part series for the Sea Titaness and The Serpent's son.

Dare Devil - Southside Serpent
Father!FP Jones, Brother!Jughead - Girlfriend!Toni
Gwenith ‘Gwen’ Annelise Jones was born the same time as her half-brother Jughead and was brought up along side him and her stepmom Gladys Jones and Jellybean was born many years later. (Biracial Daughter!OC Jones)
set pre-serpent Juggy
Title: Dare Devil - Southside Serpent
Author: @lennoxwrites
AO3: Talking_FishboneHHADOCK
Characters: Gwenith Jones (OC), FP Jones, Jughead Jones, Toni Topaz
*I don’t own the GIF*
Tumblr media
“You are not indestructible, Gwen.” Jughead sighed handing his sister her helmet. “It’s just a race, it’s not gonna kill me, now is it?” She gave him a self assured smirk.
She took her brother’s hand in her own marvelling in the difference of skin tone between them “Juggy, I know you don’t like that I’m a serpent, but they are our family. They won’t hurt me anymore and you or dad would.”
He gave her his ever famous sceptical smile, “Promise me you’ll stop tempting fate.” Gwen gasped in fake horror, “What stop flirting with fate? It might think I’ve just been a tease this whole time.” Her brother laughed and stepped back from the bike. He joined the ranks of Serpents who were waiting to watch the race.
Gwen bit on her lower lip as she watched her girlfriend strut past her bike and twirl around to shoot her a wink, “Little minx.” she whispered for Toni’s ears only.
Toni stood just ahead between the two bikes, her hip cocked to the side and a colourful scarf in her hand. “G, I want you back preferably in once piece.” Gwen nodded at her girlfriend and revved the engine, her bike purring beneath her.
The two racers nodded to the pink haired teen, they were ready. Both of Toni’s arms went up and the with the scarf in hand, in one fell swoop her arms went down and behind her. Her green scarf blowing in the wind.
--
She loved the feeling of riding, the wind whipping against her face, the roar of the motorcycles or maybe most the angry sounds of her opponent’s loosing, every time.
but this time was different something felt... off. Her bike wasn’t responding quite how it should she drew back the throttle and nothing her bike was still hurtling forwards faster, and faster. It spluttered beneath her now being over worked she was loosing control of the bike and the finish line was now in sight the front wheel popped with a deafening bang and the Ghoulie whooped and cheered as he passed her. That was when the bike flipped sending her hurtling over the handle bars at over 90mph.
She hit the ground hard with a Hmph and hurtled over and over again on the hard concrete before coming to a rolling stop, “Gwen! Gwenith!” Her father screamed running from the finish line followed by Jughead and Toni.
FP fell to his knees unbuckling the helmet from his daughters head. “Gwen please, please open your eyes sweetie.” He cried cupping her face in his hands her scuffed helmet lay a few feet away to where he threw it. “Nooo,” He sobbed holding her unconscious body in his arms.
“SOMEONE CALL A FUCKING AMBULANCE!” Jughead turned on his heels red in the face from yelling. He dropped to his knees, his lips trembling as his fingers brushed lighting across his sister’s face.

A Snake’s Truth: A Sweet Pea x OC FanFic. My Reaction After 1 Year.
Tumblr media
There will be spoilers in this so if you want to read it before or at all here is a link:
A Snake's Truth
Masterlist
One paragraph is about one chapter
My first book with a cast and and Epigraph. I know how dark this book is and yet still no tigger warning, that's a shame. *Note the salty vibes I'm giving myself.* But there is a before you read warning in the first chapter, so it's something. She's Penny Peabody's daughter. She's thinking Cheryl killed Jason. She told FP what she saw. Sweet Pea has her back.
Roxy acting like a leader. FP is kinda protective of her. She doesn't know her father. She's grounded. FP has decided to go sober amd is asking her help to clean up the trailer to get her out of her trailer. Penny and her just got into another fight. FP was arrested for Jason Blossom's murder.
Roxy doesn't believe the confession. Clifford Blossom committed suicide. Penny drunkenly kicked her out. Fangs just told her Sweet Pea is in love with her.
Sweet Pea knows about the abuse. Welcome to Southside High Jughead Jones. Jughead went to Penny and Roxy is pissed.
Jughead got beat up. Penny won't sign the emancipation papers. He knows that Penny was also her pimp and that's where the chapter ends.
Jackson? I don't remember writing that. She's gonna go on a date with Sweet Pea. Roxpea is their ship name. They ran out of snack and went to go get more and ran in Archie. They kissed, Roxy and Sweet Pea did.
They are officially dating. Serpents are going to war with Archie for pulling a gun on Sweet Pea and Roxy. Sweet pea asked her to stand back. Jackson is her twin brother. She's having a break down because she thought she sounded like her mother. So she's dying her hair purple. Jughead is getting initiated. And it is out, Alice Cooper used to be a serpent.
Time for the Gaulet. Betty broke up with Jughead. Jughead passed. They alway end up getting interrupted. They had sex. Toni and Fangs are giving the two shit about it. FP called her. The raid, her and Jughead were able to get out.
FP is her father. Tall Boy just said so. She went to go yell at her mom, then to go see FP. Penny murdered Jackson. FP made a promise to stay sober after his release. Roxy is racing the Ghoulies.
Archie called the cops on her race and she's pissed. Archie also now has a black eye. Jughead thinks running drugs for Penny is one time thing.
Roxy is telling him what to expect. This chapter is kinda cringey. She's telling her mom to fuck off again.
They didn't take her advice, FP is getting out. FP just got out of prison.
She's moving in with Jughead and FP. She's changing her last name to Jones. FP is also going to try to get custody of her. Talking about thr retirement party for FP.
FP broke his promise at the retirement party. She staying at Sweet peas until he gets his shit together. FP won't sign the emancipation papers unless he sees Roxy. To take down a penny Peabody. Everyone knows she killed her son.
Roxy just said that she ever sees her mother again she's going to kill her. She is permanently living with sweet pea now. He went back to AA.
Southside high's officially closed. Now they went to Riverdale High School and then shit hit the fan. When Reggie has to be worn that Roxy is the most violent serpent. I'm pretty sure Sweet peas just there to hold Roxy down until it's time to let Roxy fight someone.
The beginning of the sword and serpents but Roxy has a condition no Betty or any northsider. She has a headache and it makes her want to kill her brother because he's being annoying. Roxy is going to kill Reggie because he just cat called her. She got a suspension, Toni tried to stop her but failed but then again she didn't try very hard. FP is just happy that she didn't pull her knife out on him.
The Pickens day protest. Sheriff Keller stop by. She's going to her mom's old trailer after school. She may or may not have run down her trailer. She went to the mayor's office with Jughead. Penny is back.
She exposed her mother to the whole entire South side serpents. Toni punched penny. Seen her almost kill Penny scared the shit out of FP. so she was at the junkyard relieving some anger but hitting things with a baseball bat and she found the head.
Looks like Hiram Lodge doesn't like Roxy. Cheryl's going to go talk to Roxy eventually. Jughead said that he looks to The client list that she gave him and FP looks like he's formulating a kill list.
FP just admitted a lot of things to Jughead. Like how he feels guilty about all this shit happening Roxy and Jackson. Jughead is worried about Roxy. Sweet pea is worried too. Sweet Pea talk to her and he thinks she's planning something that will get her hurt. Toni think she's. trying to protect them. Cheryl blossom came to talk to Roxy. And that night Cheryl blossom and wants to be came unexpected friends.
Sweet pea and Roxy had a fight about what happened. And then skip to the scene where everyone chains themselves to Southside High. Sweet Pea got sick. Cheryl is missing.
Oh shit. Roxy is going hard on Betty. Roxy found out chic killed someone and dragged her family into the mess and she's pissed but she's not going to snitch. And she's spitting out truth to Betty. Jughead is completely missing the point.
Alice came to her trailer to thank her. And she just said that I don't approve of the verbal beating you gave Betty but in my serpent days I would have agreed with you. Midge Klump's death. The rumor of Midge cheating on the bulldog with a serpent. People finding out it was fangs. Fangs being arrested. Then shot and then Roxy sneaking out in the back door of the hospital to where no one notices her leaving. She went to go see her mom. And she's making a deal with Penny. And they made a deal a life for a life Penny loses she dies in the Ghoulies are out of Riverdale forever but if Roxy loses the Ghoulies get Riverdale.
The final chapter. As far as everyone knows fangs is dead. Roxy does walk into the bar bloody and announcing that Penny Peabody is dead. Fangs is actually alive. Everyone made her go to the ER. Roxy is officially the new Serpent Queen. I forgot I made that change in the story, in this fanfic I made Fred Andrews when the election. In the end everything was good.
Overall, not my favorite story. This is one of the stories that was like run on drama and trauma.I'm pretty sure I was originally going to bring back Jackson and that would have been a little more chaotic too. So im going to give it 6/10.

Character Introduction
The Swosie Project 1
Fic: Petty Posse
Wip
Blurb: (includes another oc named whist)
‘You know, you used to be a badass when we were in high school,’ Marina says. ‘Alice Smith: eldest daughter of Tabatha Smith, leader of the girl serpents, protested against the serpent dance. And twenty-six years later, you just stand there as your daughter does the dance. What happened to you?’
‘You are not allowed to be mad at me, Alice,’ Marina states. ‘You ditched us, out of the blue. You packed your shit and you left. Your mother was heartbroken, wondering if it was her fault. Your little sister tried to fill that void to the point where she had to spend some years in rehab. You disappeared, and then we were all introduced to Alice Cooper.’
‘We had to deal with someone we grew up with, trashing the Southside on a weekly, if not daily, basis. You’re part of the reason why Mayor McCoy was all over our business, why sheriff Keller kept sending patrol cars to our neighborhoods, why so many of the Southsiders were fired from their jobs on the Northsiders because Northsiders “don’t want to be associated with our kind”, and tonight you just walked back in as if nothing changed.’
‘Well, that was an… interesting night.’
Marina hums. ‘Poor girl.’
The tall man shrugs, digging in his pockets for his keys. ‘I guess she wasn’t in for the gauntlet.’
‘I wonder if she ever knew about that, Whist,’ Marina mentions. ‘I mean, we haven’t seen a girl do that dance for at least five years because of the gauntlet.’
Whist nods, swinging his left leg over his motorcycle.
‘Perhaps whoever brought up the dance didn’t want her to know that,’ he says.
‘Must’ve been Byrdie,’ Marina speaks. ‘That old tramp.’
Whist chuckles as he puts on his helmet. ‘Don’t start a catfight, not when I have to go.’
Marina cackles as she pats Whist on the back.
‘Drive safe. Say hi to Sylvia and the kids for me!’
As he drives off, Marina looks to her right, taking in the blonde girl from earlier that night as she sees a boy walking up to her.
Marina slowly makes her way to her car, taking short glances at the two as their conversation’s turning sour.
‘Betty, if you stay, I don’t know if I can protect you anymore,’ Marina hears him say, causing her to roll her eyes.
‘Yup, definitely a Jones,’ she mutters to herself.
‘That’s not your decision to make,’ she hears the girl say back.
Marina’s lips curve into a small smile.
‘And definitely a Smith.’
Marina drops her bag in the trunk as she hears the couple break up, walking to the front of the car, watching the boy walk away, leaving the girl in tears.
‘Betty!’
The girl turns to her, wiping her tears as she sees Marina.
‘You need a ride home?’ Marina asks.
Betty looks around her, treading closer to Marina.
‘I was hoping my mom would still be here,’ she confesses.
Marina sighs. ‘I’m afraid she left about twenty minutes ago.’
Betty nods, placing her hands on her bare arms.
‘I really don’t mind dropping you off,’ Marina states. ‘I’m sure Sweet Pea’s still busy bringing FP home, so I’ve got time.’
‘Sweet Pea?’ Betty says with furrowed eyebrows. ‘Are you his mother?’
Marina chuckles. ‘Godmother,’ she answers.
Betty takes one more look around her before she steps to the passenger’s side.
‘I live on Elm Street, with the red door.’
Marina can kick my fuckin teeth in like this lady is a fuckin unapologetic badass and I love her so much! Go give her some love!!

asks for fanfic writers
Tumblr media
things that inspire you- Aesthetic Images,Pinterest,FanFiction,Shows,Movies,Fan Music Videos,Songs,Whichever Celeb or Character I have a Crush on that Week or Month.
things that motivate you- My Muse,When People like and Comment on My work!
name three favorite writers-as in Published Authors? Cause I have alot of Faves on Tumblr. Authors-Yasmine Galenorn,Marissa Marr and Francesca Lia Block.
name three authors that were influential to your work and tell why-Not too many tbh. I’m mainly influenced by TV Characters. and OTP’s in MV’s. I would LOVE to write like Francesca Lia Block one day and I’d say as a Teen I was heavily influenced by Amelia Atwater Rhodes.
since how long do you write? How long have I been writing you mean? since I was 13.
how did writing change you? Made me more of a Day Dreamer and a bit Absent minded lol
early influences on your writing-Already told one but other’s would be Christopher Pike as well as Watching WWE and Anime’s like Sailor Moon.
what time are you most productive? Whenever I get free time and am Inspired.
do you set yourself deadlines? No.
how do you do your research? Again watching Episodes of a certain Character,Headcanons and such,or Wikipedia if it’s something on The None Fiction or Mythological side.
do you listen to music when writing? Sometimes.
favorite place to write-My Room I guess.
hardest character to write-Right Now Peter Hale, which is why I took such a long break from Teen Wolf lol (I need to finish watching it)
easiest character to write- Eobard Thawne aka Reverse Flash aka EoWells.
hardest verse to write- Not Verse but My hardest Fic to write was actually a One Shot of My Wells of Hearts Fic From The Flash. It was after HR Wells dies (on The Show) and I was pretty sad writing it.
easiest verse to write-idk about Verse but The easiest Fic I wrote was My Cat & Mouse one with WWE’s Bray Wyatt. It’s a bit too NSFW to put here though ;)
favorite AU to write-All Mine are AU’s since I create a bunch of insert characters lol
favorite pairing to write-Freddy Krueger/Robert Englund with My OC Rika. Also Michael Langdon and My OC Helena. I have a weak spot for Dark,Tragic Soul Mates.
favorite fandom to write-WWE’s The easiest lol I’d probably have to say The Flash or Walking Dead though.
favorite character to write-That’s not mine. Negan.
least favorite character to write-Archie Andrews from Riverdale lol I feel bad because I think reading my Mughead story you can tell.
favorite story you’ve ever written-Online I’d say My Flash one that is STILL not done.
least favorite story you’ve ever written-I probably have a few Sailor Moon one’s I wrote when I was younger that aren’t that good or Some of My Michael Jackson One Shots.
favorite scene you’ve ever written-Ok I’ll just Copy and Paste it. again keeping this SFW.  TWD Kings and Queen of Disaster pt1- “Don’t. Merle knew you’d kill him for siding with his Brother and you did anyway,I was there when Daryl had too…” I closed My eyes briefly trying to calm myself. It didn’t work.  Before I realized what I was doing I was standing,my gun pointed at him.   But The Governor was always one step ahead as he pulled a gun from the back of his waistband and pointed it at me as well. We had each other a stand off.  I didn’t waver as I glared at him. “Merle was the one man i knew loved me for all his faults and you took that away.” I said through clenched teeth, angry tears pricking my eyes. The Governor stared at me unblinking. “I loved you. I did.” He insisted at my scoff. “I realize it now. Killing Merle wasn’t personal. Even if it was,it didn’t make a difference,we both lost that day. Merle,My Daughter,Each other.” The Governor looked at me remorsefully. “I am sorry.” “So sorry you disappeared.” “So did you!” Governor shot back. “I had to…” I trailed off not wanting to explain myself to him.  I felt defeated, saddened, confused in that moment, that I didn’t notice when The governor slowly circled around the table, gun still in hand to walk behind me,grabbing my wrist that held the gun, putting his own to my temple. I stiffened but didn’t shrink away. We both knew we wouldn’t shoot one another. No matter how psychotic he could be or how hurt and angry I was.
story you’re most proud of- That one ^ or Wells of Hearts.
best review you ever got-On My Gotham one or My Cat & Mouse Trilogy.
worst review you ever got-None yet.
favorite story/poem of another author-Not sure.
hardest part of writing-Getting enough Motivation to write what is in your Head!
easiest part of writing-The Smut lol at least for me. ;)
alternate title for (The Alpha) My Alpha. Yeah very original I know lol
alternate ending for (Wells of Hearts) Not to give anything away but I had this big Fight scene between Reverse Flash,Obsidian Storm and Team Flash and Obsidian was going to turn her back on Eobard and side with Team Flash again at the last minute. But I decided her staying a Villain, essentially staying how Eobard made her,and joining The Legion of Doom plus all that happens afterwards would be more interesting.
alternate pairing for (MugHead) I really don’t change My Mind when it comes to Pairs lol But I may write an Alternate Story with Michelle ending up with FP Jones instead of Jughead.
single story or multi-part story? Multi.
one-shot or multi-chaptered story? Multi.
canon or AU? usually AU unless the Canon is REALLY good. usually stay in The Canon World though.
do you reread your own stories? Yeah all the time lol
do you want to be published some day? Maybe but since I write about Other Creators Characters I don’t think that’s possible.
which one of your stories would you most like to see as a movie/series-Any of The Wrestlers actually being in a Romantic/Sexual Relationship like the one’s I write them in would be ideal. I’d watch it!
one song that captures (Wells of Hearts) The title is literally a Song except it’s WELLS instead of WAR of Hearts. Kings and Queen of Disaster is inspired by Queen of Disaster by Lana Del Rey.
do you plan or do you write whatever comes to your mind? Whenever it pops into My head or when I can.
would you ever write a sequel for (The Mark) I’d write another Baron Corbin x Roxy story but probably not a Sequel to that one since Dean is no longer in WWE.
do you write linear or do you write future scenes if you feel like it? Linear. Though I should just write what pops into My head so I don’t forget it later. That just seems Messy to me.
share the synopsis of a story you work on that you haven’t published yet- The Alpha-My OC Marianna is 18 and Best Friends with Lydia,Alison,Childhood Friends with Scott and Stiles. When She meets Peter (in his Teenage Guise) After much banter and courting by Peter, they start dating. Until Derek tells her the truth about Peter being a WereWolf and killing Alison’s Aunt (She knows Scott’s a WereWolf at this point) and Peter appears to her in his adult form. Marianna breaks up with him but Peter starts stalking her, claiming they have a bond. It turns very dark after that and a year goes by until Marianna admits her real feelings towards him. They start dating again but in secret. Peter ends up turning her and becoming her Alpha, which is when The Group is finally told. After many Deaths,Forgotten memories,a short lived Relationship with Stiles and Memories restored, they end up leaving for Arizona and having a Child,Malia.
share a scene of a story that you haven’t published yet-The Alpha-I noticed his dark slicked back hair and all black attire but I also noticed The Claws on his hands and The Fangs jutting out as he snarled at Stiles, ready to take another swipe at him or a bite. I recognized that look and not just because My Pack,Scott,Derek and Erica, wolf out. This was different this wasn’t out of Protectiveness, because I mean it was Stiles, but Jealousy and Possessiveness, over me. Because this Wolf was... “My Alpha...”” I whispered in shocked realization as My memories started rushing back, I knew something had been missing,I just didn’t know what. “How could I forget you...”
how many unfinished ideas/stories are you working on at the same time? Currently like 5 lol
three spoilers for (Kings and Queen of Disaster)-Suzanna will end up becoming Pregnant with Negan’s Child,Philip Blake will eventually be told of His and Suzie’s Daughter but it will be too late as Negan will end up Killing him after.
writing advice-Nah this has already been too long.
open question to the writer

A/N: Takes place after Riot Night.
The ceiling light of the hospital’s small examination room flickered, making that dull buzzing sound of electricity that was about to go out. Aurora Jones sat rigid in her seat, occasionally shaking from her nerves. She felt so sick. So, so numb.   “Rory—” Her brother began before the door flung open. A nurse quickly shuffled into the room with another woman in tow, who shut the door quietly behind her. The nurse gently stated that she needed to go over a few things with them before they could finish paperwork, and how sorry she was to inconvenience them during this difficult time. Peter glanced over to Rory, who just stared straight ahead into nothingness, before answering the nurse’s questions. Rory had them completely tuned out, only hearing the ringing of the unclarity of their voices in her ears. She shivered again. After a while, she focused her hearing.   “Is there a next-of-kin that we need to notify?” The nurse asked.   “It’s just us.” Peter stated, staring blankly into the void as he absentmindedly squeezed his sister’s hand. Rory snapped back to reality.   “My uncle,” Rory choked out hoarsely. Her throat was froggy from being silent for so long. “FP Jones.” The nurse nodded and made her way to the door.   She wasn’t sure how much time had passed before the nurse had dipped out of the room just then. She saw Peter shaking hands with the woman who remained with them. The woman’s other arm held a thick black binder with papers sticking out of it.   Was it supposed to happen this way? First my best friend, and not even a couple weeks later, my own mother? Why wasn’t I crying? Why hadn’t I cried?   “Miss Jones,”   Am I a sociopath?   “Miss Jones!” She was snapped to reality by the shrill voice of the woman in front of her. She mumbled an apology sheepishly. “Since you’re still underage, you’ll be sent into foster care,” Rory rapidly shook her head in both protest and utter confusion. “Unless you’d rather be with your uncle?” She suggested. “He has a record… but he is your only surviving family. I don’t know for certain if they’ll allow it.”   “Can I not live with my brother and my dad?” She asked quizzically.   “Unfortunately, no, his father isn’t biologically related to you, and he and your mother split up long before her untimely death so he isn’t technically considered your stepfather,” The woman stated, shifting uncomfortably in her seat. Rory stared blankly at the woman in front of her. What did she mean they weren’t biologically related? “I’m sorry, I thought you would have known that. You didn’t find it odd that you two have different last names?” She asked condescendingly.   “They told me that they had a fight during our birth, and Peter was born first, before the fight. She said that by the time that they made up my birth certificate was already finalized, and it cost too much to have it changed,” Rory stated vacantly. Peter shifted stiffly. Her mind began to race, but she somehow managed to shove it to the back of her mind when the woman rudely snapped her fingers in front of her face. Peter hadn’t said a word. “Did you know about this?” She asked, her words dripping with agony.   “I found out a couple of months ago.” He sighed before burying his head into his hands. She felt like the knife in her chest had been twisted. He’d known for months and he didn’t bother to tell her, her own twin brother... She felt betrayed.   “Well apparently I’m the last to know important details about my own identity,” Rory scoffed with tears welling up in her eyes. She clenched her fists, almost relishing in the pain of her nails digging into her palms to calm her nerves. “I’m not going to live with a bunch of strangers, so don’t even think about putting me in a home,” Rory said ardently. “Why can’t I live at my house?”   “Despite the fact that you’re a minor— “   “I’m seventeen!”   “That isn’t the legal age of adulthood,” she sighed, rubbing her temples with her fingertips. “Like I was saying, despite the fact that you’re a minor, you guys were already several months behind on rent.”   “So, you would put an orphan on the streets?” She asked, shooting daggers at Peter on the word “orphan.” He avoided eye contact.   “No, I would put an orphan with surviving family or a foster family, like I gave you the choice of. To be completely honest, your landlord was extremely gracious to let you both continue to live there rent-free for as long as you did,” The woman suggested. Rory never bothered to learn her name. She had more important things to worry about, like if she was a sociopath or not, and who the fuck she’s been calling “dad.” “So, we can try to place you with your uncle, then?”   “Yes, make it happen. Please.” The ugly truth was that she was conflicted. Her mother worked her entire life to keep them out of the southside, away from the crime and gangs that she grew up around. She worked double shifts for them to barely scrape by, living in a small house on the edge of the northside. And now it seemed like all of her hard work was for nothing. There was too much piling on at once. She needed to interrogate Peter and to confront her “father,” but she couldn’t deal with that right now. Not now. It’s all too much.
***
Clouds of cigarette smoke enveloped Rory as she stepped into the White Wyrm. Rock music, laughter, and the clacking sound of pool balls seemed to shake the space from the ground up. She made her way to the bar.   “Ava? I haven’t seen you here in ages! You look great.” The bartender called to her. She sucked in a sharp breath and looked behind her to see if there was someone else there, and that it was just a coincidence. But no one was there, it was just her.   “I’m not Ava,” She rasped, her voice kind of breaking mid-sentence. She still couldn’t cry. Even at the sound of her name. “I’m her daughter.”   The barkeep’s smile grew even wider, though she couldn’t understand why considering she had never seen this man in her life. “Little Aurora, right?” Rory gaped at him for a moment.   “Uh, yeah. Rory is fine. Though not quite little.” She awkwardly chuckled and glanced around anxiously.   “Oh, sorry. I made you uncomfortable. I met you a couple times when you were a little girl. Before your mom stopped coming, that is. How is Ava, by the way?” Her eyes darted down to her thumbs as she twiddled them idly. “She passed away… a couple days ago.” He went silent and his smile quickly disappeared. The man shifted uncomfortably.   “I… I am so sorry to hear that. I’m not the best at comforting people… Can I get you a drink instead?” He offered, trying to joke some light to the uncomfortable situation he had just placed himself in.   “I’m only seventeen,” She half smiled. “I’ll have a Shirley Temple though,” His smile crept back onto his face. “… What?” She asked hesitantly.   “It’s just that that’s what your mom used to order when we were all teenagers, and when she was pregnant with you.” Rory smiled at him. She was instantly grateful for that smile coming back onto his face, for that little tidbit of information about her mother that made her insides feel warm, and her eyes welled up. This is it, she thought. I’m finally going to cry. I’m not a sociopath. Then… nothing. “I’m Hog Eye, by the way.” He extended his hand. She didn’t let the nickname throw her. Being somewhat close to the “culture” of the Serpents made the things like weird nicknames familiar to her. She shook his hand gingerly.   Suddenly, the doors of the Wyrm burst open and two boys swaggered toward the bar. They were loud, pushing each other over and joking around obnoxiously. They looked familiar, most likely from the new wave of students that came over from Southside High a few months ago. They were shouting profanities toward the petite girl wiping down the bar, and she flipped them off before starting a conversation with them. The taller of the two boys caught Rory staring and she immediately snapped her head down to the Shirley Temple that Hog Eye had slid in front of her. She stirred the ice around with her straw.   “You lost, Northie?” She ignored him, fully knowing that he was addressing her. A bar stool scraped across the wood floor near the end of the counter before she heard shuffled movements coming her direction. “You hear me talking to you?” He said a little louder.   “Leave her alone, dude.” The pink-haired girl from behind the bar rolled her eyes. She gave Rory an apologetic look. Her eyes were big and soft, and she seemed to be truly genuine with her expression. The boy scoffed at her with a smirk and leaned against the counter next to Rory.   “I asked if you were lost. You deaf?”   “And what if I was? What would you do?” Rory turned to him with an amused expression. He gazed at her with his mouth slightly agape for a moment as he tried to grasp for a response. “Right.” She snorted before taking a sip of her drink. A thick black curl hung loosely between his furrowed eyebrows.   “Sweet Pea, cut it out. She’s having a hard time.” The girl piped in again. Rory was kind of annoyed that she had eavesdropped on her and Hog Eye’s conversation, but then again, they were in the center of a bar and weren’t talking in privacy.   “Sweet Pea?” Rory raised an eyebrow with a smirk, turning toward the boy with her entire body now. She needed this distraction. Even if it was sure to turn out as an annoying encounter.   “Yeah, don’t let the name fool you.” He replied flatly.   “He’s a dick.” The other boy spoke up for the first time, then grunted when Sweet Pea kicked backward, hitting the boy in the thigh. He pushed Sweet Pea’s shoulder in return, but his eyes never left hers and he didn’t even budge, aside from his shoulder jerking forward.   “If you’re going to be in my house, I need to know who I’m letting in.” He huffed.   “My name is Aurora, my friends call me Rory,” she sighed, deciding to humor him. Sweet Pea snorted mockingly. She narrowed her eyes at him. “Is something funny?”   “Aurora? You mean… like the Disney princess?” She rolled her eyes at his response.   “At least I’m not named after a vegetable.” She muttered. The two other teenagers laughed. Sweet Pea crossed his arms over his chest as he mumbled for the others to shut up through gritted teeth.   “I’m Toni Topaz. This is Fangs Fogarty.” The girl piped in and motioned with her elbow as she wiped out a pint glass. Fangs gave a lazy salute with a coy smile. Sweet Pea was visibly growing increasingly more agitated.   “Look, Northsider, you aren’t welcome here —"   “Sweet Pea!” A loud voice boomed from across the room. “Are you giving my niece a hard time? Where is your Serpent hospitality?” The room grew nearly silent aside from the music as FP filed toward them. Sweet Pea’s jaw instantly went slack as Fangs slowly walked backward, knocking a barstool over. Sweet Pea quizzically looked from Rory to FP, and back again. She smiled sweetly.   “Did I mention that I’m a Jones?”

“Juggie.” The voice, although distant, came clear to Jughead as he wrestled against staying asleep and being woken by the all too bright sun.
“Juggie!” It came louder this time and Jughead had no choice but to look up out of his blankets. There, he saw the last person he thought he would: his sister, Juniper Jones.
Laid back in a phone booth outside of the bus station, Jughead waited for an answer from his mom on the other line. His mind was swarming with memories of Juniper leaving, but he couldn’t rely on those now, no matter how much he wanted to be sucked into the void of his (almost) forgotten sister. He remembered the day after she left, and how his father acted like she was never there. He hadn’t heard her name spoken by another Jones in almost four months. Jughead almost forgot who he was trying to contact until his mom’s voice appeared over the phone.
“Hi mom,” he said, almost excited that he had a chance to start over from the lies and burdens that haunted his hometown, Riverdale. “Hey guess what, I got a bus ticket to Toledo. Yeah, I thought I’d come see you and Jellybean for a while. Maybe Juniper, if she’s there.” However, he knew the chances of Juniper being with the rest of his family were slim to none. Juniper despised their mom and hated that she took Jellybean away from her and her brother. If there was one person that Jellybean loved more than anyone, it was Jughead, and Juniper was wildly aware of that.
Jughead listened to the other line as his mother declined the offer. “There’s no room for you.” She said. “Not even Juniper could stay.” Jughead nodded dimly and wished his mother a goodnight and trudged back to the bus station. If Toledo didn’t want him, then he would find a new town that would.
“I changed my mind about Toledo,” Jughead lightly said to the woman at the bus station window. He kept his eyes down, straying away from eye contact as to stop himself from breaking into more tears. “Can you just put me on whatever the next bus out of town is? I don’t even care where it’s going.”
The woman grabbed his ticket and stamped it with a grim look on her face. “Citrusville, Florida. Leaves tomorrow morning at six.”
Jughead took the ticket and looked around, sighing as the woman answered his unasked question: “lobby closes in fifteen minutes, reopens at 5:30.” With no where else to turn, and no one he really wanted to see, Jughead went to the only place he ever really found solitude in. Pop’s Chock’lit Shoppe.
There was a rattle and a shatter sound that woke up the thirteen year old Jughead. He was startled and frightened until he turned on his light to reveal his fifteen year old sister, climbing out of his window. She froze, and looked at him. Her face held many emotions, but Jughead could only extinguish two: fear and fake happiness. After Juniper realized that it was only her little brother, whom’s bedroom window was easier to open, she grinned, watching as Jughead slowly climbed out of bed, rubbing his eyes.
“What are you doing June?” the eighth grader murmured.
Juniper’s eyes flashed with a mischievous glint as the perfect lie rushed to her mind. She loved Jughead, but he was as naive as Jellybean, who was only ten at the time. “I got a call from Polly Cooper. She told me about this poor raccoon that her father hit and was slowly dying. I’m going out to help her.”
Part of Jughead figured she was lying, but couldn’t disagree with her. He loved Juniper. And he knew that she and their father and mother had been fighting more. He also knew that if their father found June sneaking out at night, she would never see the daytime. Therefore, that part of him that screamed she was lying to his face, was forgotten. Jughead smiled at his sister and replied sweetly, “okay.”
Juniper’s face softened. She was so happy that he never asked questions, for she feared she would never be ready to give him the actual answers. She gave him one last smile before climbing out the window. However, before she closed it, she turned back and whispered, “don’t tell dad.” With that, Juniper closed the window and Jughead turned off his light.
Jughead awoke with a small jolt of fear and emptiness. Juniper was not here. Juniper hasn’t been here in a long time, and that was enough for him to hold onto the second memory of the night to cloud his tired mind. Not wanting to fall asleep again, almost afraid of the night scares that might plague him, Jughead opted for laying his head between the window and booth; attempting to find peace amongst the horrors of the night. Unfortunately, that peace did not last as long as he hoped, for his friends’ voices reached his ears and the spell that Juniper had casted around the middle Jones child, had disappeared.
“Jug.” Jughead turned slightly and saw the three sleuths, Archie, Betty and Veronica, walking up to the booth where he was trying to drown in his sorrow. Uninterested in what they had to say to him, Jughead turned back and continued to stare dreamily and tiredly out the window. Despite his gloomy state, his friends stayed and gathered around the booth, looks of pity very clear on all their faces.
“Jug, we’re so sorry.” Betty whispered just loud enough for Jug to hear. Jughead shook his head and sniffled, looking at the window and trying to block his friends from his mind.
“Juggy, we screwed up. We all did.” Archie said, his voice a little louder than Betty’s, but still quiet enough that anyone trying to eavesdrop would have a hard time. “Breaking into your dad’s trailer was wrong, but at least some good came out of it.”
His attempt to ignore his friends failed at the end of Archie’s confession. Still staring straight ahead, Jug answered: “Pretty sure my dad was just arrested for murder.”
“That gun wasn’t there when we searched his trailer.” Veronica’s voice popped into the mix. “Someone put it there after we left.” Jughead finally fully turned his head at Veronica, confusion written all over his face.
He looked at Betty, who nodded her head. Looking back at Veronica, Jughead asked, “what are you talking about?”
It had been a long day for Jughead Jones.
First day of freshman year. First day of high school. He really thought it was gonna be different.
First off, he thought that Juniper was going to be with him. He was devastatingly wrong. Turns out, Juniper was not “smart enough” to go to Riverdale High and therefore got her education through Southside High. Which was super unfair to Jughead because his sister taught him everything he knew. Jughead could say without hesitation that she was smarter than him and that was saying a lot.
Secondly, because Jughead Jones did not have his sister around him, he didn’t have protection from the jocks at his school. He knew it sounded lame, but his sister was like his personal “knight in shining armor.” Plus, he knew that his sister liked to beat up jocks for fun. It was “her favorite way to past the time,” or something like that.
Lastly, even though he had known Archie Andrews since they were kids, Archie had turned his back on Jughead and only acknowledged the shadow-hugging teen when no one was around. Which wasn’t the greatest thing.
Trudging through the trailer door, everything instantly felt different. Jug looked around and found himself on the outside of angry voices and broken glass. Curious, but also very cautious, Jughead followed the loud, angry voices and found himself in the kitchen. Juniper and their father were fighting. Again.
It had been a long day for Jughead Jones.
Almost as long as his first day at Riverdale High. When he came back from school that day to find his sister and father fighting about things that were still unknown to him to this day. Jughead never learned why his sister and their father fought all the time, all he ever knew was that Juniper always ran away crying. As soon as she had gotten her license, she would take the old, beat up 1995 Ford truck she bought from Junkyard Steve, and would drive away crying. Their relationship always remained a mystery to him, and he was almost thankful right now, that he never learned the truth.
Shutting Principal Weatherbee’s door behind him, Jug walked quickly. He wasn’t entirely sure where he was headed, but he did know that he wanted to be away. However, when Jug walked back into the hallway, Betty was instantly by his side. “What happened in there?” she asked and Jughead sighed. It’s not like he didn’t want Betty to be with him, but she would never understand and he almost despised her for it.
“My second interrogation of the day. Don’t know who’s more of a dick: Keller or Weatherbee.”
Instantly, Betty defended him. “Don’t listen to them. Everyone else is wrong. Your dad’s innocent, and we just need to prove it, Jug.”
At that, Jughead stopped walking and took in a breath. “Who killed him, then, Betty? Tell me.” He paused, awaiting her answer before continuing on. “If it wasn’t my dad, who killed Jason Blossom? He said he did it, and you know what? I’ve been waiting my whole life for that man to do the right thing, and I’m done. You should be too.”
Juniper hadn’t been home in a few days.
Jughead wasn’t sure how long she had been gone for, he lost count after three. His best guess was ten, but then again, he could’ve been wrong. He seemed to be very wrong about Juniper lately. Apparently, the sixteen-year-old had hidden from him and their father that she was a member of the Southside Serpents. This little unknown fact pissed FP off more than Jughead had ever seen, leading FP to believe that whatever the reason that cause Juniper to disappear, had something to do with the gang.
Even though FP had been a part of the notorious gang growing up, he “lost” contact with them after Jellybean was born. Deep down, Jughead knew this to be false. He had seen his dad mingling amongst the Serpents many times throughout his young life. And just last week he heard through the grapevine that he might have rejoined to keep things in order. However, despite all the times Jughead had seen his dad dealing with Serpents, he was only mad at one occurrence: when he saw him talking to a small group the day before June disappeared. Jughead always knew his father was all talk, but it still pained him to think that the gang that he sworn he would never communicate with again, might be the same gang behind his older sister’s disappearance.
“Archie asked me to look into your father’s case,” Mrs. Andrews told the tired teen Jones. “I went down to the station and passed myself off as his attorney to try and get as much information as I could.”
“How’s it looking, mom?” Archie asked. Jughead knew that Archie’s intentions were good, and that his heart was in the right place, but he still didn’t understand why Archie would waste his time on an already solved case.
“Well, unfortunately, between FP’s list of priors, the anonymous tip, and the possession of the murder weapon…”
“Don’t forget that pesky confession.” Jughead jumped in, an unhumorous smirk on his face.
“Things look pretty bad.” The two boys sighed and Jug could feel his heart sinking further into his body. “I was with him all night, and he never once budged from his story.” Mary looked between the two boys and slightly lowered her head.
Despite the news, Jughead smiled, but it teased him. “Well, if nothing else, at least he’s an honest murderer.”
There was a brief silence before Mary opened the file in front of her and carried on. “Oh, also, who is Joaquin DeSantos?”
Archie and Jughead looked at each other as Archie asked the question they were both pondering. “Joaquin? As in Kevin’s boyfriend?”
Jughead looked back to Mary. She folded her hands before saying, “He was FP’s one phone call.”
Two weeks.
It had been two weeks when FP got a call from Sheriff Keller, telling him that they had found Juniper Jones. By that time, the men of the family had stopped eating, and FP stunk from all of the alcohol he consumed. Jellybean cried herself to sleep every night, with Jughead aside her. However, their mom stayed silent through it all. Never once mentioning Juniper’s name or even acknowledging that she was ever there. And when Juniper finally returned to the broken family, she continued to pretend that her eldest daughter, was in fact, gone.
When FP, Jughead and Jellybean (who insisted on coming and yelled at her father that “if he told her ‘no’ one more time, she would run there”) got to the station, Sheriff Keller told the kids to stay in the lobby while he had a chat with their dad. According to the story that Juniper had told Keller, she had planned on running away with her good friend Joaquin, who she met when she joined the Serpents. The pair got to Greendale before Juniper realized their mistake and decided to turn back. Joaquin wanted to continue the trek out, but knew he wouldn’t be able to survive on his own. Unfortunately, Juniper’s car ran out of gas and neither teen had any money to get more. It being the middle of winter at this point, and only having the clothes on their back and enough food to last them a few days, they trudged back to Riverdale. Only surviving because of a kind-hearted girl named Sabrina who they met in the middle of the woods.
The two teens were picked up just outside of Southside High and immediately brought to the station. They were also checked out by a nurse before their parents were called. Joaquin, who was asked about what happened, gave the same story as Juniper. He also gave a few more details than Juniper, but because he was younger, and slightly more dehydrated than Juniper, Keller dismissed them. Sheriff Keller left the kids back in their parents custody, Juniper promising Joaquin that they would one day get out of this “god forsaken town.” Jughead would later find out that her promise was only a cover to go along with the lie she had cooked up. He wouldn’t actually learn the whole truth for another two years, but Jughead never questioned his sister’s choices. She was smarter and she was older and she was his hero. So she remained just that: Jughead’s hero.
“When Archie told me about his little plan to help you, get you on your feet, and working with Fred, deep down, I knew it was a mistake.” Jughead stood, in the room where his father sat on a local police station bed, trying to deal with all the emotions that were running through his system.
“Should have listened to your gut.” FP simply replied. He looked almost bored, but at the same time, looked like he was holding back tears.
Jug turned to the cell, looking at his father with great sadness and anger. “You really had me.” He sighed and could feel his eyes water, but pushed the feeling back. “Cleaning the trailer. Convincing me that you had quit drinking. Putting Juniper’s photos back on the wall. I was so happy, for the first time in so long. You paid attention to me. Let’s be honest. The only reason you even read my manuscript about Jason’s murder, was to make sure I wasn’t onto you.  And you didn’t want to take me to Toledo to get the family back together. You wanted to get away. You wanted to run away.”
“I did what I had to do! What I always do!”
Furious, Jug stood up from his seat. “Are you even sorry?”
Forcing himself to be the bad guy, FP got up slowly from the uncomfortable cot and walked over to Jug. Putting on a serious face he replied, “Sorry I got caught. We done?” Jughead turned and began to walk away before his dad called him back. “Look at me, Jughead! Never come back here! Understand?” FP was beginning to lose it, but he couldn’t do that in front of Jughead when there was so much on the table. So, he held it back. He shook with anger, with fear, with sadness, but he held on and stayed strong. However his eyes wavered and Jughead caught sight of the broken alliance between FP’s posture and the windows to his soul.
Before leaving completely, with a new sense of revelation, Jughead simply stated, “Got it.” And left with no further need of an explanation.
It was late at night on July 11th, when Joaquin got a call from FP; talking about some “clean up job.”
Joaquin quickly left his trailer, heading down to the Whyte Wyrm where he found FP in the basement and Jason Blossom on the floor in a pool of his blood. Joaquin turned to FP’s stone face with shock, but kept his mouth shut even though his mind was screaming at him.
FP walked towards Joaquin, trash bag and mop in hand. “Don’t worry, I called an expert.” Joaquin was confused by FP’s statement. An expert? In what? Burying Northsiders? Joaquin’s parade of questions was quickly answered when he heard a car door slam outside and a familiar face walk down to the basement. Juniper Jones, his childhood (and current) best friend. Now he understood FP. Juniper Jones was known around the Serpents for being the best to call when one needed to get rid of evidence or move it. She was a master at framing others and knew her way around twisting others words to get what she wanted.
Joaquin knew her talent first hand. Hell, it wasn't too long ago that the two set out to Greendale for a drug deal gone wrong. Joaquin has had that memory crawling around in his head longer than any vocabulary word ever could.
Juniper sighed heavily when she got to the bottom of the basement stairs. FP walked over to her, bringing her into a hug before whispering something in her ear. The eldest Jones never told Joaquin what words were shared between her and her father, and he assumed that she was planning on keeping it that way. After a quick hello to Joaquin and a small, quiet “I’ll tell you later,” the trio set off to work. FP and Joaquin gathered and wrapped Jason’s body before placing it in a freezer, while Juniper searched the basement for any evidence that could link them to the murder. At one point of looking back, Joaquin saw Juniper with a small box and lighter fluid. There was no question in his mind to what she was doing. However, the ongoing thought of “She shouldn’t be here,” did ring through his mind obsessively.
When the deed was down, it was early, early morning and time for Juniper to head back to Greendale or wherever it was that she had placed herself in hiding. FP gave her a quick thanks and kiss on the cheek before heading back towards the bar, leaving the two childhood friends by their lonesome selfs. Joaquin desperately wanted to ask the many questions that burned in his head, but wasn’t exactly sure how to phrase them without sounding like a total ass. Therefore, when Juniper saw the look of distraught on his face, she wrapped him in a hug and pulled him in close.
“I know it doesn’t make sense,” she told him, the first thing she had said to him in three hours. “But, I want you to know, when I got the call from my father about a clean up job, I was praying that you would be there to do it with me.” She pulled away from the hug, wiping away a small tear that had escaped her eyes and placed her hands firmly on his shoulders. “If you ever need anything, and I mean anything Joaquin, don’t hesitate to call. I will always be there for my family, no matter what.” With that, she kissed him on the cheek and walked back to her car, looking around to make sure no one saw her. When the coast was clear, she drove off, but not without a small wave and a sign that only Joaquin knew.
Low and behold, when Joaquin checked his jacket pocket he found a flash drive with a small note, reading: “Just in case.”
“You gotta tell your friends to stop before they get hurt.” Joaquin told Kevin outside of the bus. Joaquin was leaving Riverdale. It was about time he did what Juniper suggested he do right after they went to Greendale. Leave. She told him. Leave and never come back. Avoid the inevitable for as long as you possibly can. Sometimes, he wished that he took her advice sooner.
“You really don’t know them at all, do you?” Kevin replied, slightly laughing at the thought. Sadly, his smile disappeared quickly, realizing the truth. “Just like I don’t know you.” Saddened at the thought, Joaquin gave a tight smile and walked away, heading towards the bus door. Before he could get to the steps, Kevin called him back, grabbing his face and kissing him one last time.
“I’m gonna miss you preppy.” Joaquin sighed and got on the bus, but he stopped as the ongoing thought of the flash drive that Juniper gave to him ran through his mind. He turned back, deciding this was a fine goodbye gift to give to Kevin. “Look, I didn’t want to say this in front of your friends, but there’s something else.”
“Whatever it is we’re looking for, Joaquin didn’t know if it would help your dad, or make things worse.” Kevin confessed to Betty and Jughead. After Joaquin turned back to Kevin, he revealed that the day that FP called him for the Jason Blossom clean up job, Juniper Jones was there as well, whom he had kept out of the story for everyone’s sake. Joaquin also told Kevin about the duffel that Juniper had placed in the woods just outside of town. Apparently, she told Joaquin to use it for any evidence that he didn’t want to “get rid of,” but didn’t want to hand over to the cops. Leading to this fateful night.
“Um, guess we’re going to find out.” Betty replied, trudging through the snow. “And why did he wait so long to tell us?”
“FP called him from jail.” Kevin explained. “Told him to forget about their plan, some contingency plan. He said it was too dangerous.” He sighed before continuing, wondering if it was worth the trouble to say; but when Jughead turned and gave him a questioning look, Kevin carried on. “Joaquin also said that he was worried your sister was going to find out.”
“My sister?” Jughead questioned, instant worry flooding him. “What does Jellybean have to do with this?”
Kevin shook his head. “Not Jellybean. Juniper.”
Jughead took a step closer to Kevin. “What are you talking about? Juniper wasn’t even in Riverdale the night Jason was killed. She was off in Toledo with my mom and Jellybean.”
Once again, Kevin shook his head, taking a deep breath to calm his nerves. “No, she wasn’t. According to Joaquin, she helped him and FP with their little clean up job. He told me about her reputation amongst the Serpents; how she’s the person to call to help get rid of evidence.”
“Wait, what does that have to do with Joaquin being worried about Juniper?” Betty asked.
Kevin looked down at his hand, suddenly finding them very interesting. “Joaquin believes that Juniper might, I repeat might, have been involved in Jason’s murder. He was worried that someone was going to point the finger at her because she left so suddenly and was connected to the Serpents. And since the majority of the town believes that FP killed Jason, the likelihood of her being an accomplice was quite high. Even though she was “out of town,” Joaquin says that she’s done things like this before.”
Jughead walked closer to Kevin, causing Kevin to take a step back. “She’s done what things before? Murder? You think Juniper, my sister, killed Jason Blossom? Why? They didn’t even go to the same school!”
“Jug-” Betty tried to call.
“No, Betty! Kevin thinks my sister is a murderer!”
“Tell me Jug, how much do you actually know about your sister, huh?” Kevin rapidly asked. “Joaquin told me that you and FP had no idea that she was even associated with the Serpents until she was sixteen. By that time, she had been in the gang for three years. For three years you didn’t know that your sister was in a gang. And Joaquin told me-”
“Oh Joaquin told you!” Jughead interrupted.
“Yes, Joaquin told me!”
“How can you trust what he told you?” Jughead seethed. He was beyond angry that anyone would ever believe that his hero, Juniper Jones would ever commit murder. Yes, Juniper hid a lot of things from Jughead, but she would never kill someone, especially someone that she didn’t even know. “He was involved in a clean up job with my dad and didn’t tell you about it until today!”
“Your sister was also involved in that clean up job, Jughead!” Kevin practically yelled. “Look, I’m not saying that Juniper killed Jason, but she might’ve had something to do with him being locked up in the bar’s basement. Joaquin and Juniper have been friends for years, and he told me a lot of things about her that I bet you don’t even know.”
“Things like what?” Jughead spat. He tried to remain calm, but his heart was racing from hearing the awful lies Kevin told him of his sister. “What could Joaquin possibly tell you about my sister that would make you believe she had something to do with this?”
Kevin paused. He knew he had to tell Jughead the terrible truth, but it was hard to say, and Kevin wasn’t sure if he was ready for Jughead’s reaction. Still, he knew he had to finish what he started. “I-”
“Guys look!” Betty called, interrupting the tension filled conversation. Kevin was quite relieved, but knew that this wasn’t the end. Jughead turned towards Betty and saw her holding a duffel bag. The duffel bag that Joaquin was talking about. Jughead sighed and put his hand out, silently asking Betty for the bag. She handed it to him, but not without a weary look. Ignoring the look from Betty, Jughead unzipped the duffel and pulled out a letterman’s jacket. Jason’s letterman jacket.
“This is meant to help FP?” Archie asked, confused and concerned. The group of teen sleuths stared at the varsity jacket that once belonged to Jason Blossom.
“I don’t know.” Kevin answered, slightly shaking his head. “Looks like more incriminating evidence to me.”
“Yeah, this just confirms that my dad torched Jason’s getaway car.” Jughead pitched in. He was still mad at Kevin, but had calmed down quite a bit since then.
Kevin nodded, hearing the hurt in Jughead’s voice and regretting everything he said about Juniper. “And that his confession was true.”
“Why would FP say Jason’s varsity jacket is dangerous?” Betty questioned. “What could that mean?”
“I can ask my father,” a new voice chimed in. The group all turned, revealing Veronica to be the source. “He would know, considering we found concrete proof that he hired the Serpents to kill Jason. Which probably means that your dad pulled the trigger, Jughead. I’m sorry.”
“That’s okay, Veronica. At least it wasn’t my sister.” Jughead mumbled only loud enough for Kevin to hear. Who in turn, looked at the ground, a grim smile on his face.
The room was silent as everyone’s minds settled on the facts. However it didn’t stay silent for long, when Betty spoke up. “No. No!” she simply said. “No, I’m not giving up yet.” She picked up Jason’s jacket and examined it, flipping it around before holding it up to Archie. “Put his on.” she told him, leaving no room for arguments.
“What?” Archie asked.
“Put it on.” she simply replied.
Against the idea of putting on a dead teen’s jacket, Archie commented “Betty, this is weird.” But still slipped his arms into the sleeves.
She stepped behind Archie, slipping her hands into the pockets. She felt around in them, searching, grasping for anything that could solve the question of why this jacket was so damn important. Going into the left pocket, she noticed something weird. “There’s a hole in the pocket.” Realization flashing on her face.
Okay, now we’re just grasping at straws…” Kevin started, done with whatever Betty was cooking up.
“Okay, no. I don’t know about you guys, but whenever I have a hole in my jacket pocket, I always lose my chapstick in the lining.” Betty continued to search through the jacket, silently praying that something, anything would pop up. Luckily, something did. After a little more rummaging around, Betty pulled out a small, silver flash drive.
“What the hell?”
That night, Sheriff Keller and Mayor McCoy saw what we watched in Archie’s garage. Jason, tied to a chair, in the basement of a bar, on the Southside of Riverdale, while a Serpent, Mustang, taunted him. Then, the unthinkable. Later, we would learn why my father confessed. Because Clifford Blossom visited him on the night of his arrest, with a threat. That I, Jughead Jones, would suffer the same fate as Jason Blossom, if my father didn’t confess. My dad was protecting me from a monster, and the nightmare was far from over. And our families, far from repaired. And though one question had been answered that night, that it was Clifford Blossom who killed Jason, a new mystery loomed over Riverdale. Why had he done it? It was a question only Clifford himself would be able to answer.
Please write me back June. I miss you and need good news.
Love, Jughead.

Angels Fall Chapter 7 - An FP Jones X OC Fanfiction
*Authors Note: I am changing Skye’s age. She is no longer 17 and a junior, she is 18 and a senior so she is of age.
August 18th
Later as it turned out, would come later than Skye was hoping for, as the next week forced Skye to be a bit preoccupied...
It was the Monday morning after the homecoming pep rally, and Skye was staring up at her ceiling, awake before her alarm was supposed to go off. The whole weekend had gone by in a blur, Skye barely remembered anything since she walked back to the game Friday night after her and FP’s…moment. But now it was Monday and it was time for school and homework and college applications. Early admission deadlines were closing in fast and every day Alice was putting more and more pressure on Skye. Skye knew what she wanted and where she wanted to go but now with whatever was happening between herself and FP and Polly locked away in some institution placed a large dampener on her eagerness for college.
The shrill sound of her alarm shook her out of her thoughts as she sighed, sitting up in bed and running a hand over her face in exhaustion. Grabbing her phone from her nightstand she glanced over her messages, looking for one from FP but like yesterday and the day before, there was none. She didn’t expect one to be there, but she hoped she would have heard something by now. She tossed her phone back on the bed before rising and throwing on her outfit she had set out on her dresser. Throwing her hair up into a ponytail, she ran down the stairs, grabbing a bagel from the counter and her sweater from the hall closet before hopping in her truck and heading in the direction of Rosewood High, hoping to get there early to discuss letters of recommendation with a few of her teachers.
Later that morning, as Skye was at her locker getting her books for her next class, she saw Sheriff Keller and Principal Weatherbee escorting a one Cheryl Blossom down the hall, Skye turning her head as they passed, a look of confusion on her face as she watched the redhead go by. She wanted to see what the commotion was all about but the bell rang suddenly and Skye had to get to class. It wasn’t until Skye got home that evening that she was filled in on all the gossip from both Betty and Alice, the latter of whom was giddy with the idea of having a juicy story to write up. Skye didn’t know what to say, she couldn’t come up with any reason why Jason would want to even run away in the first place, he had always seemed so loyal to the Blossom family. She wondered if his and Poll’s brutal breakup had anything to do with it, because nothing had felt right in this town since that day.
August 19th
The next morning, Skye made it only a few yards into the school before she became aware of the whisperings going on around her, a few of them looking in her direction. Suddenly nervous, she stood by her locker, trying to listen in to a couple of gossiping cheerleaders behind her. What if someone saw FP and her behind the school? But then she heard something she wasn’t expecting, Veronica’s name. And Chuck Claytons. Followed by the words ‘sticky maple’. Oh hell no. Chuck Clayton was the greasiest, slimiest douchebag that ever walked the halls of Riverdale High. She would need more hands to count the number of times he had asked her out, wanting to defile the innocent Cooper daughter in more ways than one. And while she was still getting to know the new girl, Betty and Veronica had become inseparable in the few weeks they had known each other and any friend of her sisters was a friend of Skye’s. She found the two storming out of the men's locker room, red in the face and fists clenched.
“Whoa girls, take a breather before you pop a vein.”
“I will not rest until that greaseball pays for what he has done. Who does he think he is?” Veronica fumed.
“I’m with you Ronnie, whatever you need me to do to help, count me in. It’s time someone stands up to him. You aren’t the first girl he has done this too, but I assure you, you will be the last.
“Thanks Skye. Now, Ethel says Trev Brown mentioned something about a book…”
That night, Skye, Betty, and Veronica drove to the high school dressed in all black, Skye armed with a crowbar. She swiftly pulled out a bobby pin and picked the lock to the front doors of the school, winking at the younger girls when the lock clicked back and the doors opened. They creeped down the hallways.
“Color me impressed! A B and E with B and V. What would your holy roller mother say about this, Betty?” Cheryl’s piercing voice startled the girls.
“What are you doing here, Cheryl?” Skye questioned her old friend.
“Ah Skye. Naturally you’d be here too. Trev told Valerie, who told Josie, who told Ginger, who told Tina, who told me. And I thought I would help out.”
“Help? Or derail our investigation?”
“Get over yourself, Skye.”
Ignoring the red heads presence, they finally found the playbook, and Skye was growing more and more disgusted by what they found with each page they turned.
“New girl? Is that what I'm reduced to? Nine points?” Veronica chimed, finding her name at the bottom of the list.
“Better than "Big girl. Seven point five.”
“Wait, there’s Polly. Next to.. Jason?” Skye felt a pang in her chest. Her poor sister. How could she not have known?
“I'm so sorry, Betty, Skye.”
“This isn't Jason, he would never-” Cheryl was cut off from her excuses.
“It's right there, Cheryl! God. Your brother hurt my sister. This is what guys like Jason and Chuck think about women. We're objects for them to abuse, and when they're done with us, they shame us into silence. They have zero remorse for the lives they destroy. And somehow it is our fault, for making ourselves the victims” Skye ranted, feeling sick to her stomach.
She dropped Veronica and Betty off at home, saying she needed some air. She walked around town, not really sure where she was heading. Clenching her fists in her sweatshirt pockets, she was consumed with thoughts.
Jason and Polly seemed so in love, but was it really all a game to him? He was nothing but a dirty liar. He tricked her and then left her and broke her heart and now Polly, her best friend and twin sister, was sitting alone in some mental hospital because of that ass. And for the first time, Skye was no longer upset that the boy was dead. Perhaps, as her mother had said, he got what he deserved.  Perhaps he was better off dead.  Looking down, she clenched her hands and removed them from the pockets to find blood dripping down them, crescent moon shaped cuts lining her palms. Shit.
She didn’t realize she had crossed the tracks until she looked up again, seeing a sign for the White Wyrm up ahead.
What the hell? She thought, before heading towards the bar.
Opening the door, the dimly lit bar let out a waft of warm air, the stench of cigarette smoke and alcohol were easy to pick out. Stepping in, she suddenly felt out of place, but luckily the bar’s inhabitants were engaged in drinking, darts, pool, or conversations to notice her entrance. She walked in further, hoping her dark outfit made her blend in at least a little, her hood pulled up over her blonde head in further attempt at a disguise. Skye made her way to the bar, biting down on her lip. She had never done anything like this before, defied rules, gone out past curfew. But it wasn’t nervousness she was feeling, it was excitement. She liked the way she felt being in control of her own actions.
“Can I get a Jack and Coke please?” Skye called out, trying to fit in as much as possible. The bartender looked hard at her, as if her was trying to figure out who she was, before nodding and getting her the drink without a word. The drink was slid down the bar top towards her, and she caught it before bringing the drink to her lips. She took a sip, trying to hold back a cough as the alcohol burned her throat. She had had a few sips of wine before, maybe a glass of champagne at a cousins wedding, but god if Alice could see her now, she’d have a conniption. Taking a few more sips before throwing back the rest of the drink, she stared into the glass deep in thought. Another drink appeared before her and she downed that one too. She felt alive and she liked it.
Just as she was about to finish a third drink, a hand came from behind her, snatching up her glass.
“Hey that’s mine you can’t just-” she stopped in her tracks as she turned around to face the drink thief, only to find herself the victim of FP’s dark gaze.
“What are you doing Skye? You shouldn’t be here.” His voice was low, but there was a sense of frustration or anger in his voice which confused her.
“What, you aren’t happy to see me? You said you’d see me later.” The alcohol making her more stubborn and courageous.
FP looked around to see if anyone was listening too or watching the interaction, then looked down at her again.
“I can’t have this conversation here Skye. Now come on, I’m taking you home. Did you drive here?”
“Nope. Walked. Sue me.” The drink was hitting her hard, she wondered exactly how much coke was in the jack and coke, if any. She raised her hands in mock defense, only for them to be captured by FP’s larger ones. She liked their warmth, she remembered how they felt on her waist, on her cheek, in her hair,
“Skye, what happened? You're bleeding.”
“It’s nothing, just an accident. It’s fine.” She yanked her hands away from him, placing them back into her pockets.
Before she could protest, his hand was on her back, guiding her to a dim hallway where she noticed restroom signs hanging above. He led her to the first aid kit hanging from the wall, before sitting her down on a nearby stool. He gathered a band aid, some wipes, and some antibiotic ointment from the kit, then set to work on her palms, Skye watching his every move. When he was finished, he pulled her up from the stool and walked her out the back door, not saying a word.
He walked over to a motorcycle, sitting down and fastening a helmet on his head. He glanced at Skye, who was awkwardly standing to the side, before grabbing another helmet and holding it out to her.
“Get on” was all he said, motioning to the space behind him.
She stepped up to the cycle, a little nervous, before climbing on and clumsily securing the helmet on her head. Unsure what to do, she paused a moment before FP grabbed her hands gingerly, avoiding disturbing the cuts, and wrapped Skye’s arms around his torso. She felt her face flush as she rested her head between his shoulder blades before the roar of the engine signified their departure. Skye closed her eyes and held on tightly, praying she wouldn't fall off.
When she opened her eyes again, it was because the movement had stopped and the rumbling engine was shut off. She was expecting to see the white columns of her childhood home, but instead she saw an unlit trailer ahead of her. FP’s trailer. She began stammering about why he brought her here, that she needed to get home.
“Give me your phone.” Skye complied, handing it over. She saw him typing something before locking the phone and returning it to her.
“What did you do.”
“I texted Alice telling her you were called in for an emergency shift at the clinic.”
“Why am I here? You said you were taking me home.”
“I was going to, but realized if you showed up at home on a motorcycle, drunk, and with me, Alice would kill us both.”
Skye nodded in agreement, before following FP up the few stairs to the front door. Entering the trailer, she saw beer bottles on every surface, old takeout containers in the kitchen, clothes strewn aimlessly about. FP must have felt embarrassed about the state of his trailer in her presence as once he sather down and gave her a cup of cold coffee, he grabbed a trash bag and dumped all the old containers and bottles into it, pushing the clothes into the closet. He then disappeared for a minute, before returning and handing her one of his t-shirts and some sweatpants.
“Here, you can wear these. The bedroom is right back there. I’ll take the couch.” He looked down at her where she was sitting.
“Thank you FP.” She searched his face for any sign of emotion. Finding nothing but exhaustion, she took the clothed from his hands and walked back towards the bedroom.
Slipping out of her clothes, she threw on the t shirt that swallowed her small frame and attempted to wear the sweatpants but they kept falling down around her ankles. Settling for just the t shirt, which fell mid-thigh, she padded across the trailer back to the living room, where FP was on the couch, his head in his hands.
“Hey.” She called to him softly.
“Hey.”
“Did I do something wrong? After our last meeting I thought you wanted to see me again.”
FP looked up at the girl motioning for her to take the seat next to him. Skye sheepishly sat down next to him, placing her hands in her lap. He shifted his focus to her, taking one of his hands in his, tracing the band aid on her palm.
“I did, do want to see you again Skye. I just don’t know why you want anything to do with me, I’m bad news Skye. And you have your whole life ahead of you. People around here wouldn’t understand you and me and I don’t want you to ruin your life when you have the whole world to explore. Seeing you at the bar tonight, drowning yourself with alcohol, I can’t let you go down that road and with me, that’s what will happen.”
“I haven’t seen Polly since before Jason died. He used her and then he left and I don’t know where my sister is. Maybe he loved her, more likely he didn’t. She’s my sister FP, my twin. We shared everything, did everything together. Then she disappeared. My mom says shes getting help but I know she’s lying. I should be worried about Polly, scared because a murder happened down the street from where I live. I should want to run far, far away from Riverdale but I don’t. I just don’t want to be lied to anymore. So don’t lie to me FP. Please. Just tell me the truth.” Skye met his dark eyes, letting him see her pain, her emotions, through her eyes. “Do you want me FP?”
He didn’t say anything for a few minutes, and Skye shifted uncomfortably, taking her hand away from the older man. She was embarrassed and if it weren't for the alcohol that was clouding her mind, she never would have said anything but tonight she was desperate. Not for sex, but for truth, for answers.
Finally, after what felt like eons, he answered.
“Yes”

Choices Ch. 4
Pairing: Sweet Pea x Reader
Word Count: 2346
Warning(s): Hospital, Southside violence, bad writing
Summary: Being Reggie’s little sister wasn’t easy already. But being his sister and not agreeing with his hate towards the Southside was nearly impossible. Tensions are rising and Y/N needs to make some choices that could change her life drastically.
A/N: Sorry thought I would get this up yesterday but here it is! I also thought I would try writing in a different POV. Idk if i like it but it fits more with how I want to tell the story so I guess it will work for now.
DISCLAIMER: I do not own Riverdale but I do own the OCs and the story is mine. I do not post anywhere but on this profile so if you see my stuff anywhere else let me know!
Side Note: If it seems like something in my fic is not mine or of original canon let me know! I don’t want to step on anyone’s toes!

Reggie and his friends jumped into action as you hit the ground.
“Y/N” He screamed your name trying to wake you up. That’s when he noticed the blood pooling below you. A shard of glass must have hit you when the windows exploded but no one noticed. FP picked you up and rushed you to the cruiser outside. While this whole mess was happening around you, another mess was taking place at the Whyte Wyrm.
“I can’t just sit here” Sweet Pea said as he tried to walk out. Jughead was there to push him back.
“You don’t have a choice, Sweet Pea, you’re staying put.” He just pushed Jughead away from him before glaring.
“You said it yourself, the Ghoulies are back” His heart wouldn’t stop racing. Another person he knew was hurt. He didn’t know how a Northsider, hell a Mantle, got under his skin but, you did. The young Jones didn’t want to listen to Sweet Pea’s call to action.
“We will deal with them” Jughead looked around him. “As soon as my dad gets back-”
“Oh, so you’re not our leader all of a sudden?” Sweet Pea bit back at the Serpent Prince. ‘Oh, no, that’s right, you’re just the guy who got Fangs Shot!”
“Watch it…” Jughead tried to defend himself but Sweet Pea was getting too worked up now.
“And now, Fangs might die! And the Ghoulies are out for our blood because a drag race you started.” He got into Jughead’s face while poking his chest.
“An hour. That’s all I’m asking for, Sweet Pea.” Jughead pleaded with the taller serpent. Sweet Pea just turned to walk away but not without slamming his fist into the wall. He was stuck here while Fangs was fighting for his life. Hell, he didn’t even know if Y/N was alive at all. Sweet Pea was just itching for Ghoulie blood. All Sweet Pea could do to distract himself was play pool. He was pocketing shot after shot in complete frustration. He saw Jughead rush out of the bar and scoffed. He’s not sure how long it was before he returned with Toni and Cheryl. Jughead explained what had happened with Peabody and the Ghoulies.
“It’s time we end the Ghoulie scourge and that Traitor, Penny Peabody permanently!” Sweet Pea was fed up with his friends getting hurt. Fangs, Y/N, and now Toni. He was done.
“Sweet Pea, two hours ago your fight was with Reggie Mantle. Now you want us to go to war over territory that we don’t even control anymore? This is Hiram Lodge’s problem not ours.” Jughead yelled back at Sweet Pea.
“So you’re just gonna hand over Sunnyside Trailer Park, our home to Penny and the Ghoulies?” Toni stood up outraged at what Jughead was proposing.
“Toni, I don’t want us to die.” Jughead pleaded with the female serpent. “A rumble with the Ghoulies right now? It’s a suicide-run”
“It’s better than a coward’s death.” Sweet Pea stood by Toni. The boys started talking over each other. Sweet Pea was calling for us to defend themselves while Jughead was trying to calm the taller serpent.
“That’s enough!” FP’s voice rang through the Whyte Wyrm. He walked towards the fighting teens. “I just got a call from the sheriff’s office. Fangs uh” He paused and looked at the crowd. “He didn’t make it. He’s gone.” An air of disbelief hung around the gang.
“Fangs is dead?” Jughead questioned his dad. FP nodded.
“And we will mourn him, hell yea, we will. But first, we will honor him. From what I just heard, it sounds like we need to put it to a vote. All those against going to war with the Ghoulies?” No one lifted a finger. “And all those for giving them hell on the battlefield tomorrow?” Almost everyone’s hands went to the air. Jughead just glared at his father but, it was decided; the Serpents were going to war.
Sweet Pea took the first chance he got to jump on his bike and head to the Hospital. Bulldogs were everywhere but he was only looking for one Northsider. He tried not to think of Fangs. Sweet Pea was on a mission and he couldn’t be distracted by grief. The receptionist looked up as he approached the desk.
“I’m looking for a patient. Well I don’t know if she’s here, I just know she was hurt so I’m hoping…” He started rambling.
“What’s her name?” The receptionist asked with pity in her voice. He clenched his fist and took a deep breath.
“Y/N, uh Mantle, Y/N Mantle.”
“Her room is 203.” Sweet Pea rushed towards the room with his heart in his throat. He was so in his head about Y/N he didn’t notice that some of the bulldogs in the waiting room heard him and texted Reggie. he was already outside your room waiting for the Serpent to show up.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing here?” Reggie sneered at him. Sweet Pea had to calm himself down.
“Look, I’m not here to fight. I heard about Y/N and just wanted to make sure she’s okay.” Reggie just scoffed at him.
“She doesn’t need you checking in on her. I don’t know how you heard about her but you need-”
“I was on the phone with her when she passed out. I couldn’t come earlier but I’m here now. I just need to know that she’s okay” Sweet Pea cut the bulldog off. Reggie stared at him for a while debating what he should do.
“She took a shard of glass to the side. We didn’t notice and she lost a lot of blood.”
“How’d you not notice?!”
“You were on the phone with her! She didn’t even notice, okay!” Reggie turned around and slammed his fist into the wall. “It’s not my fault” He whispered. Sweet Pea calmed down after seeing him like this. It was clear that the jock was already beating himself up.
“What do the doctors say?”
“They did surgery to repair her spleen or whatever. She’ll make it. Her body is trying to make up for the lost blood so she’s sleeping right now. Been asleep the whole time, hasn’t woken up. Doctor says it’s normal but…” Reggie trailed off before realizing who he was talking to. “You know now, so get the hell out and leave Y/N alone. This just proves that she doesn’t need to get mixed up with Southside scum.”
“The Serpents didn’t do this, it was the Ghoulies.” Sweet Pea defended. No way would he be blamed for what happened to Y/N.
“Serpents, Ghoulies, does it matter? A Southsider still put her in the hospital.” Reggie sneered at him before walking into your room and shutting the door. Sweet Pea threw his own fist to the wall. Hearing his own words thrown at him by Reggie had his stomach sinking low. He needed to feel more in control, so he left to the one place that felt like home.
All Sweet Pea could do to keep a level head and forget all the shit he had experienced today was to play pool. They started playing for cigarettes and whatever else people would bet. He lost himself in the game. That was until FP interrupted them.
“Toni, Where was Penny hiding out?”
“By the docks.” Toni told their leader quickly. FP rushed out of the bar in an instant and jumped on his bike. Everyone was at a loss. Sweet Pea thought it was useless but he decided to call Y/N anyways. He sighed as he heard your voicemail. As he hung up, he received a text message.
Princess: Hey, sorry, Reggie is here. U alright?
Sweets: I mean you’re the one laying in a hospital bed. Shouldn’t I be asking you that?
Princess: I’m fine. Dr. said I just need to rest. I’m also really doped up right now. Can’t feel a thing!
Sweet Pea couldn’t help but laugh at your response. He ignored everyone’s stares as he typed his reply.
Sweets: Glad to hear you’re okay. I tried stopping by but your brother was there. He told me you hadn’t woken up yet right before telling me to GTFO.
Princess: UGH, stupid Reggie. I’m sorry, hey maybe you can sneak in later! He says he has stuff to still take care of tonight.
Sweets: I’d love to. Hey GTG, hopefully cya later.
Sweet Pea put his phone away as he heard a car pull up. He, Toni, and Cheryl met Archie and Betty outside of the Wyrm. FP had been gone for a while now and everyone was on edge.
“Where is he? Where’s Jug?” Betty instantly asked as she saw the Serpents.
“Guys…” Archie directed everyone’s attention to an approaching FP. He came out carrying his beaten son. Jughead hung in his arms lifeless. It only took one look at his upper arm to see who did this because in place of where his serpent tattoo should have been was a bloody wound. Everyone was in shock as FP placed him in Archie’s car and raced to the hospital. It was the third time in a span of hours that Sweet Pea was on his bike rushing to the hospital hoping his friend would live.
Serpents filled the waiting room along with the bulldogs now. In all honesty, Sweet Pea was so close to breaking down. First Fangs, then Y/N, Toni turned out okay but for a second there he wasn’t sure, and now Jughead. Sure, Jughead and him didn’t see eye to eye but they were Serpents; a family.
“First you invade our streets, then our schools, our homes are in flames and you think you can just walk in here.” An unnamed bulldog started getting in the Serpent’s faces.
“Hey, back off, we all have people we care about in here.” Archie stood in between the rivals. “Is Y/N/N still here?”
“Yeah, will be here overnight. Reggie is in there now saying good night. We’ll probably head over to his to keep him company.” The bulldog responded. The tension in the air diffused enough for the Northsiders to back away.
“Wait, Y/N/N, as in Y/N?” Archie nodded at Sweet Pea. “All these bulldogs are here for her?”
“Yeah, we all grew up with the Mantles. Y/N is like a little sister to all of us.” His voice had a slight warning in them. FP walked into the waiting room and the teens went to meet him.
“He’s in surgery. It doesn’t look good.” FP collapsed in a chair and sobbed. The kids didn’t know what to do. His son’s life hung in the balance and they were just expected to wait. Out of the corner of his eye, Sweet Pea saw the bulldogs leave with Reggie. He waited another moment before heading towards Y/N’s room. He knocked on the door.
“Come in.” Sweet Pea entered. “Sweets! I was just about to text you!” Her face lit up when she saw him.
“Hey, Princess” He walked towards the empty chair by her bedside. “I was in the waiting room and I saw Reggie leave so I thought it was safe.”
“Of course, you’re probably waiting to hear about Fangs!” She said innocently. “How is he?” It was then that she noticed Sweet Pea’s tense posture. He wouldn’t look at her either. “Sweets?”
“He uh, FP told us that, well he…” He avoided saying the words but Y/N understood right away. Sweet Pea’s head snapped up as he heard Y/N yelp in pain. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing, I was just trying to sit up so I could hug you but these stupid stitches won’t let me!” She  groaned in frustration. He went to help her sit up in the bed.
“Yeah, we got the news earlier. Things have been stirring up with the Ghoulies. I won’t go into too much detail but Jughead thought it was a good idea to play the sacrificial lamb. He’s the reason why we were in the waiting room.” Sweet Pea started to ramble. He was cut off when Y/N’s hand landed on his forearm.
“I’m sorry, Sweet Pea. I really am. I hope Jughead is alright.” She smiled at the Serpent.
“I just want this night to be over with.” He leaned his head on the bed next to her lap. On instinct, Y/N started running her hand through his hair. The big bad serpent just leaned further into her touch.
“Me too. They said that I could probably go home tomorrow afternoon depending on labs and all that medical talk.” Sweet Pea hummed in response. “Are you falling asleep on me, Sweets?”
“No, next to you, Princess.” He mumbled. Y/N scooted over slightly.
“Come up here then” She patted the open space next to her. Sweet Pea was gonna argue but he took one look at her face and just sighed.
He crawled in right by her and swung his arm around her head. She placed her head on his chest without thinking. Neither of them could believe that they were in this position now. It was only a handful of days ago that they had their first conversation. It all came down to two facts: Y/N needed someone and Sweet Pea needed to be needed right now. They were like that for a few minutes before Sweet Pea got the courage to break the silence.
“This issue with the Ghoulies has become worse. They’ve always been a thorn in our side but…” he took a deep breath before continuing, “tomorrow morning Serpents and Ghoulies are going to war. I want this to happen I do but, we’ve-I’ve lost so much already. I don’t know if I’m ready to lose more.” Y/N looked up at him to see his eyes closed and head tilted back.
“Hey, everything’s gonna be okay. Let’s just get through tonight alright?” He nodded at her. Neither one of them wanted to break the peace that settled in the room because the truth was, they didn’t know if they were ready to face tomorrow.

Supernova
Her path has been set for her, from the moment she took her first breaths. That’s hardly surprising though, given that her birth was foretold and she hails from the same bloodline that brought forth the current Grand Magus. Private tutelage, studying abroad, and more family secrets than she can keep up with; she still never questioned her Uncle’s motives when he called her home to begin her years at the prestigious Belgrave University.
Her second year at Belgrave is off to a rocky start, however. Blood is being spilt, students are being slaughters, the cost of magick is reaching new heights, and there’s a heavy feeling in the air. An ominous omen of change to come, she can feel it in the marrow of her bones.
And then, there’s the new kid. The townie boy who seems to be a magnet for trouble. Convinced he would get himself killed, she tried to warn him. But she never should have followed him that night. Now, with the path that once laid before her utterly obliterated, it’s up to her to secure that ever elusive thing called destiny. Or die trying.

By Fang Or Blood
Shadows fall across Greendale as the eve of Samhain approaches, a night which will change things for all the times to come. It’s her eighteenth nameday, and with mere hours left upon the precarious vow she once entered, she’s still not prepared to choose. Not that it matters, given that all eyes are on her younger sister this year.
But Sabrina, it would seem, has no qualms about denying her heritage its rightful oblation.
The fallout brings insurmountable tension, and with it, dark rumors from their neighbors. Riverdale, the town with pep. As blood spills, it seems to have lost its spirit. Violence runs rampant throughout the quaint little town, sweeping its residents into a sinister fog of rage, fear, and despair. In a quest for answers, she finds herself crossing Sweetwater River, and strolling right into the madness.
Where it just might swallow her whole.
If there was one thing that FP Jones had taught Sweet Pea, it was that a Serpent never goes looking for trouble. And one of the Spellman women? Well, that was just trouble personified. But they can hardly help themselves when a pretty little witch strays right into their den on the night of a full moon, now can they?

Possession
She grew up shadowing her big brother’s footsteps, so it’s hardly a surprise when she declares at age thirteen that Jackson Teller will be the love of her life. And he was, for a time. Until it all began to crumble at her feet, and she’s left wondering just where it all went wrong. Charming is funny like that; cursed, her mother said. She should have listened.
With her brother telling her she should have known better, and her father lost in booze and memories, she has to find her own way. Who said you can’t find happiness in the arms of a whiskey-eyed man and the bright lights of Vegas? Only, nothing is as it seems, and getting away from ‘the life’ is much easier said than done.
Too bad Charming always seems to draw her former residents back home.

Crimson Passage
Senior Year was supposed to be everything she had ever dreamed.
She was supposed to be a Gilbert, a daughter, and a sister. She was supposed to be Captain of the drill dance team, even if the Mystic Timber Wolfettes was a cheesy name. She was supposed to have gained the love of a Salvatore, one who had promised to protect her, no matter what came. Until she took the plunge and could protect herself, that is. Though probably, still yet, even then.
She thought her final year was going to be the best that it could be, given the fact that she honestly couldn’t remember a time when things had been normal, not anymore.
She was wrong.
One harrowing ultimatum and heartwrenching betrayal later, everything that was supposed to have been true, is no more. Instead, she finds herself a bloody mess, deep in the wood, and utterly alone. With one move, fate has been set in motion, and nothing that she knew will ever be the same again.
Of course, living in a town dubbed Mystic Falls, what more could she really expect?

‘At the Wyrm, can you come help me pick up some final supplies?’ – Dad.
Piper Jones, gripped at the front of her jacket as she strolled up to the former Serpent hideaway, her place of peace, home. The rain created small patters on the leather material of the embroidered second-skin. ‘Damn you’d think this thing would be waterproof.’ internally groaning as the liquid began to seep through. The carpark was suspiciously vacant for a last-minute escape, considering the notable disappearance of Serpent signature Harleys.
The hairs on her legs stood on end as the gusts of wind repeatedly hit against her partially bare legs, the fishnets leaving little to no protection from the typical Riverdale weather. The brunette was a nyctophile at heart and her – as Jughead would refer to as, “Boogeyman escapades” were a regular occurrence, which meant both him and his Northsider friends were off her trail. Tonight, had a purpose, albeit strange – with the recent Asylum at the Andrews household and the urgency to leave the bar behind it left for a contradictory aura. Or ulterior purpose, a one-way ticket to Toledo perhaps? Surely, her father knew the heat wasn’t exactly her scene, nor her brother’s for that matter. ‘No, why would you be going to Spain? She’s not even your mom.’ She grimaced at the thought of re-visiting that horrendous woman again.
“-You wouldn’t get out much; there’s no darkness for the vampires to survive in.” Toni joked after telling the gang the news. She was going to miss the three of them together.
Peering up the dirtied windows within the door frame it was easy to see some source of light, which eased her suspicions and uncertainty. Once under the small roof, she stuffed her hands into her pockets pulling out the phone, quickly wiping away any droplets whilst she brought up her dad’s contact details.
‘That’s me here, can you come open the door?’ – Piper.
Running her hands through her hair, in an attempt to dry it off as she stood patiently in the cold waiting to hear the click from the inside. Instead she got another text. Strange.
‘Door’s open; the lock’s busted.’ – Dad.
Rolling her eyes, she chuckled remembering Sweet Pea’s insistence on the automatic lock due to the sudden influx of ‘Northsider vermin’ strolling in. Eventually her father gave in, just to shut the young boy up. Piper couldn’t wait to hell him that his plans fell flat on its ass. Taking the golden knob in her hand, she turned it on it’s side using all her strength to open the heavy doors.
Closing the front door behind her she was met with another, the wooden singlet that separated the main bar area and the hall with the signature snake clumsily carved into it. Piper began to shed her skin as she slipped off the leather jacket placing it on the empty hanger adjacent to her and wiped off any remaining dampness leaving her in pair of ripped short and a band-tee. The teenager paused for a moment as she heard not one but two voices coming from the opposite room. A male and female.
Possibilities flew through her mind, however nobody she could clearly pinpoint that would have any connection to her father however, she shrugged this off as the voices were considerably muffled. One thing was for sure, the male was not FP Jones. Piper let her fingertips graze the surface before providing any force, beginning to bite against her lip she stood simply expecting a sign to tell her to run before it was too late; before curiosity killed the cat. A sudden burning to the chest may have done it, that is if it happened before she’d pushed at the door.
Four occupants, none of which were Serpents. All of which wanted her burned at the stake. Her blood boiled, she could take them, right? Penelope Blossom was an old hag; quick slap over the face and she’d be out, the same goes for her associate – doing Cheryl a favour in the process. Malachai was a considerable challenge but nothing she hadn’t done in the past when he’d gotten a little too handsy. The blonde in the corner, whom was situated at the bar rather the table shrouded in darkness currently pouring herself a Jack Daniels and Coke was a different story.
“Mother, making yourself at home, are we?” The young girl spoke raising her eyebrows, awaiting a response from the she-devil.
Penny didn’t move.
Unhappy which her silence, Piper began strolling towards her mother, ignoring the group of criminals to the distant left. “Peabody.” She called, much more powerful than before.
The former Serpent let out a snort beforehand as she spun on her heel, turning to her offspring. “Don’t you dare take that tone with me sweetheart.” The woman threatened placing both glasses of alcohol down with significant force.
“Sweetheart? Really? Is this your way of conveying affection? By patronising me?”
Penny simply stared at her daughter, smiling drinking in her appearance. She’d aged well – filled out in all the right places, enough to make a quick buck if she tried dawning a smile for a change rather than a scowl. “God, what has that school done to you? using big words now!” She mocked through a soft laugh as the younger stood in a permanent state of attitude, with crossed arms along with a tapping foot.
“More than what you taught me.” She muttered.
“Hey, I taught you how to do business.” She snapped pointing at her daughter. Piper saw this as an invitation, so she stepped up towards the bar Penny was leaning on as she shoved her mother’s hand out of her face. “No, you taught me how to lie and cheat by manipulating others around you.” The elder let out a cackle, “Honey, that’s is how you make it.” She took a quick sip of her drink,
“-Just ask your boyfriend over there why don’t you?” Penny motions to the group in the centre of the room, The Serpent’s eyes widen at the remark. “What? You think I don’t know these things? Newsflash! I’m your mother.” She exclaimed in a comical manner.
The seventeen-year-old held her hands up in defeat, “Look, I clearly don’t have to stick around listening to this bullshit.” Penny playfully shook her head, “-so just give me back the phone and I’ll leave.”
The blonde rolled her eyes, picking up the phone from behind the counter, dangling it between her fingers, “Oh sweetie, you didn’t really think we’d call you down here for nothing did you?” she trailed off making her way round the bar towards her daughter, “-you’re not going anywhere…”
The teen began retreating, eyeing her mother as she placed the phone down.
Piper watched as her mother traced every step slowly, waiting to pounce on her prey. “Y’know Jughead was simply a means to end yesterday despite its outcome, but you kid…” Penny graze her hand over the black denim pocket, unbeknownst to Piper getting a feel for the blade as she began to back her daughter into the door frame as her associates mused amongst themselves about a possible outcome. She’d have to act fast before Malachai got involved, the dealer had a bone to pick with the Serpent Princess.
The girl let out a small ‘ooph’ as her back hit against the solid wooden surface, frozen stiff, as she became the embodiment of a ‘sitting-duck’, her breathing began to hitch, eyes began to burn. Her mother was a loose-cannon and would revolt against anyone who stood in her way; even her own flesh and blood.
Penny was now in her daughter’s face, centimetres apart, feeling the poor girl’s sporadic breathing against her skin. “-You’re a golden opportunity.” She plunges the switchblade into her daughters left bicep.
Piper lets out a bloodcurdling scream as the sticky substance begins rolling down her bare skin, her mother then proceeds to grab a fistful of the girl’s top yanking her off the doorframe and throwing her into the centre of the room, “What the hell!” Piper screeched gripping her wound as her eyesight becomes increasingly blurry, mostly due to the tears, thankfully.
The vile woman laughs pacing towards her daughter whilst wiping the blood from her knife. “Oh, I’ve waited for so long to do that.”
“Y-You, sick bitch!” Piper cries as she stumbles over her own two feet further away from her mother. Penny raises an eyebrow at her daughter’s accusation. “Geeze, I thought you’d be more of a fight kid.”
Grabbing the brunette again by the injured arm she roughly shoves her back into the bar, craning her back over the metal rail, pulling out the sticky switchblade once again, this time resting it against her throat. “Seventeen years you and your daddy have been screwin’ with me, and now it’s my turn.”
“The things I did to keep you safe!” Piper squirmed against her mother’s grip unable to push any weight off due to the numbness in her left arm, she let out a gargled laugh in an attempt to swallow the amounts of blood laying at the back of her throat, “Not my fault you couldn’t just keep your legs shut.”
Penny let out a feral growl pulling her daughter forward only to push her back into the bar again, watching her let out a scream gritted between her teeth. “You left me! You left me to rot, as you ran off with your father and his prissy little family!”
The woman began sliding the blade up Piper’s cheek, “Don’t think for a minute that you’d ever be one of them, because you’re not.” The girl lets out a small squeak, “You’re Southside trash; a little tramp, nothing more; nothing less.”
Piper had now begun to get a decent footing allowing for some movement, risking a slash of the cheek she lifts her knee, managing to kick her mother away from her watching the blonde fall to the dirty floor. She lets out a breath, slowly making her way to the door gripping at her bleeding arm as she leaves a trail of red behind her.
Outside an engine can be heard in the distance as it begins to pull in.
“It’s over kid.“
She felt a sudden impact to the back of her head, falling to the ground with a thud.
“Hiram.” Penny greeted as she handed the limp teenager off to the Ghoulie.
The mobster scrunched his face, confused as to why one of his daughter’s friends was in the Southside vicinity, never mind the bar. “The girl?”
“Our one way ticket to a Serpent free future.”
She awakes up to the sound of muffled voices, and soft music, relatively dazed. Frowning and trying to overturn the throbbing from the back of her head, Piper blinks rapidly, trying to configure her surroundings; she was still within the Wyrm which was debateable as to whether it was a good sign or not. She reaches up to try and brush away a stray strand of hair, until she notices that her hands are bound behind; up against a pole. The Serpent pole. Immediately, she snaps her attention to the entourage in the far corner, glancing some objects scattered across the table: a few tubes of JJ; couple of beers and a large sum of cash. What were they up to?
Managing to suppress a groan, in an effort to keep quiet whilst the group chatting as she listened for any valuable information. Looking to her left she notices the poor job someone had done at wrapping up her arm: A couple layers of a grubby bandage stuck together with some masking-tape.
“Malachai and his Ghoulies will be our soldiers and dealers, with Ms. Peabody troubleshooting.” Mr Lodge explained “-And hopefully, doing a better job than she did of killing Jughead Jones.”
The blonde women shrugged, “He wasn’t breathing when we left him; besides we’ve got a new piece of bait.” She chuckled, taking a sip of her drink.
“You promised me a brothel, Hiram.” Penelope enquired.
“All in good time, Madam Blossom.”
Penny snorted playfully nudging the dealer to her left, as she spoke to the older woman, “Relax Red; look when we’re done with Princess over there.” She nonchalantly waved her hand towards her daughter “-she’s all yours…”
“Even got a bit of experience mind you.” slyly sneaking a smirk off to Malachai.
Leaning back on her chair she peers over the heads before her, looking to her daughter’s limp frame, narrowing her eyes; she’d moved
Keeping the rest none-the-wiser, she turned to the youngest of the group, “Go see if she’s still breathing, will you?”
The ginger woman let out a sigh, “I admire you Peabody, my Cheryl has become quite a handful recently.” She softly smiled “-locking me out of the house and whatnot, nice to see you keep a tight leash on that one.”
“Hmm…” She hummed before downing the rest of her drink.
Sauntering to the main stage Malachai looked the girl’s body up and down, for both any sign of movement and his own enjoyment. It’d been a while since she’d last came to him looking for a hit and fuck; the morning of the Drag Race was his most recent recollection.
The delicate dove finally had its wings clipped.
Piper had screwed Malachai over – in more ways than one. She’d ratted him out to Keller when he’d caught her with Jingle Jangle, shanked at least three Ghoulies in the past month all whilst siding with her new-found Northsider friends. He wasn’t about to let that slide.
The Serpent watched as the male figure headed in her direction. His chocolate brown locks bobbing along with every step, his confidence became quite captivating – the skull studded black jacket and ripped skinny jeans were a nice change compared to that silk robe she’d become accustomed to. Catching an all too familiar swagger in his hips evoking an inner smirk, nice to see he’s still got it.
She lay sprawled across the platform, as much as the cuffs would allow her to in an attempt to hide her consciousness from the Ghoulie. Thankfully, most of her face was hidden behind a large sum of hair, that now look as if half of it had been dunked in red paint.
Stopping in front of the stage, not bothered to climb up Malachai began musing himself with the young girl’s soft hair twirling it between his fingers pulling apart any sticky loose strands. Piper knew what he was doing, she knew fine well he knew; she was awake.
So, she played him the only way she knew how.
“Mal…” She moaned slowly sliding her hand across the wood over to his.
I’m not overly in love with this, I planned to do it as one but I sorta lost a bit of steam after awhile so I decided to split it into two.

A/N:  Hi everyone! I hoped you like this chapter. I'm so incredibly happy with the positive feedback I've gotten from the story so far! Thank you so much! ♡
“You’re late!” Midge exclaimed playfully as Rory approached the booth where she sat in the relatively empty Chock’lit Shoppe. Rory laughed, mumbling a brief apology before sliding into the booth. Midge already had a milkshake of Rory’s flavor choice waiting for her. She immediately took a sip, relishing in the cold, creamy strawberry deliciousness. Midge smiled at her briefly before it faded into a frown.
“What’s wrong?” Rory asked, growing concerned. Midge’s eyes scanned Pop’s to make sure there was no one eavesdropping before sighing.
“I just don’t know what to do about Moose,” she put her chin in her hand and stirred her milkshake absentmindedly. “I love him, but something is just… off. But with Fangs… Oh, Rory, with Fangs it feels so right. The passion. The spark. The hunger –”
“Okay, I don’t need to know that part!” Rory laughed before reaching across the table to grab her hand. Midge smiled before it quickly faded away again. “Do you love Fangs?”
“No, I don’t think so. But he gives me something that Moose just… doesn’t. Even before, when things were good, it just felt odd. Awkward. Clunky,” she shrugged and shook her head. “What do I do?”
“I think you need to be honest with Moose. It isn’t fair to keep lying to him, especially when he’s being faithful to you. You guys need to talk about it.” Rory squeezed her hand sympathetically.
“Yeah, you’re right… as always,” She rolled her eyes and sniffled. Rory grinned and looked down into her milkshake and took another sip. “Do you think I’m a sinner?”
“A sinner?” Rory snorted, almost spitting her milkshake back down into the cup. “What the hell are you talking –” She looked up to meet Midge’s eyes. She was cut off by her own blood-curdling scream. Her best friend’s cold, dead eyes emptily stared back at her. Blood and decay covered her face and body. Five knives were plunged into her torso, and two pairs of scissors pinned her arms in a “T” into the back of the booth.
“I am back from the dead,” Midge’s corpse hissed monotonously. “All those who escaped me before will die.”
Rory sprang up from the bed in strained sobs, screaming from the flashes in her head. Jughead burst through the door with his switchblade flicked out, his hair disheveled and one eye half-closed. Once he saw that there was no physical threat, he put the knife away. FP pushed past him and held his niece tightly to his chest, stroking her hair in attempt to calm her. Jughead sat on the end of the bed. She had stopped screaming, but the sobs carried on. She thought of the couple of nights that this occurred when her mother was alive, before her death. How her mother would climb into bed with her and stay with her the rest of the night. But she was gone too. And she wouldn’t have even been gone if Midge weren’t gone in the first place. She sobbed harder. After a while, FP convinced Rory to lay back down. He moved to the chair in the corner of the small room and nodded for Jughead to leave before laying his head back. He stayed there for the rest of the night.
In the morning, Rory rubbed her swollen eyes and headed down the hall toward the kitchen. Living with Jughead and FP was… different for Rory. When she arrived, it was clear that the trailer was in a state of constant disarray from the busy lives of the two men that lived there, but Rory had started to clean things up to keep herself busy when she wasn’t at school. It had been a few months since she started living there, but the nightmares hadn’t gone away. It was always the same dream over and over, an “alternate” ending to the very real last conversation she and her best friend had before the musical that fateful night.
“Hey sugar,” Gladys chirped. Rory smiled faintly at her formerly estranged aunt and mumbled a “good morning.” “How’d you sleep?”
“Like a baby.” Rory smirked bitterly. She knew she had heard her screaming last night. If both FP and Jughead heard her, there was no way that Gladys and Jellybean hadn’t. They hadn’t even been back in town for long and Rory was already done with the whole situation. Something felt wrong about her presence. Plus, she and Rory’s mom had never gotten along, so Gladys had almost the same passive-aggressive attitude toward her most of the time.
“Good,” Gladys smiled, taking a sip of her black coffee. “FP is out back. He has something to show you.” Rory gave a tight-lipped nod in response and exited the trailer. It was a bit nippy outside, and she was only wearing a cotton tee and some pajama pants. She crossed her arms over her chest. She heard some banging noises from behind the trailer so she followed them. FP stood among a medium sized Airstream camper trailer with the doors and windows wide open, and a few packed boxes sprawled around on the ground outside of it.
“What’s all of this?” Rory spoke up, as FP hadn’t noticed her standing there. He looked up and beamed at her, immediately walking in her direction.
“Hey squirt, how are you feeling this morning?” He asked, pulling her into his side and giving her a chaste kiss on the forehead.
“I’m okay,” she smiled up at her uncle. “How’s your back?” She asked sheepishly.
“Oh, don’t worry about me. Me and that chair are very well acquainted. Jellybean used to have nightmares when she was a little girl.” He reassured her. She suddenly felt very burdensome. She had been sleeping in Jellybean’s room since she moved in, but now that they were back in town, Jellybean had been sleeping on a cot in the living room.
“I think JB and I should switch living arrangements. It’s her room after all.” Rory insisted.
“That actually brings me to the reason I had you come out here,” FP grinned, pulling her with him toward the Airstream. “Your mom didn’t like living in the trailer with me and our old man when she was a teenager. ‘Hostile environment,’ and all that. I don’t blame her,” he sighed and absentmindedly rubbed his jaw thinking just how hostile that environment could be most of the time. He shook his head to get the memories out. “This was hers. I kept it when she left, just in case she ever wanted to come back… Now it’s yours.”
“Mine?” She blinked at him, dumbfounded. He gave a nod and motioned for her to go inside.
“Check it out. I got most of the boxes out, and we can take out anything else you want,” FP suggested as she looked around. She oddly felt like she was giving her mom a hug, just being inside the eclectic trailer. It was almost untouched by time, aside from all of the dust. It made her feel… Happy. She turned to her uncle and gave him a sudden, almost rib-crushing hug. He stumbled backward slightly and froze for a second before hugging her back. She mumbled a thank you into his chest. “You now have your own space. There’s a mini fridge that I had laying around, and the bathroom is back in the little ‘room’ behind the bed, but you’ll have to come inside for meals and showers, and to hang out with us, of course.” He chuckled.
“Thank you so much Uncle FP. I don’t know what to say.” Rory sniffed. He waved his hand to stop her from thanking him. Her phone buzzed in the pocket of her pajama pants. She rolled her eyes when she pulled it out and looked at the screen. Two texts from Peter to add to the however many unanswered previous messages. She hadn’t spoken to him in a few months, since her mom’s funeral.
“You should talk to him. He’s been coming around and asking for you,” FP sighed. Rory scoffed in return. “He lost her too.” She sighed and wiped a tear from her cheek, hesitating before finally texting him to meet her at Pop’s in an hour. FP rubbed her shoulder, then ducked out of the trailer. Not much time passed before Jughead appeared at the door and knocked on the frame before coming inside.
“Nice camper. Very… Bohemian.”  Jughead chuckled, looking around the camper. He had never been in here before. In fact, the only knowledge he had of it before was that it was behind the trailer covered in tarps his whole life.
“Thanks,” Rory laughed, curling up into one of the two armchairs. “It’s all my mom’s stuff. I almost feel like I’m in a museum. I’m too afraid to touch anything because I might knock it over.” Jughead furrowed his brows and moved to sit in the chair adjacent to his cousin.
“You need to make it your own,” he began carefully. “This is your space. You live here now.” She nodded with a sigh and thanked him. He patted her shoulder in return.

When Rory walked into Pop’s, she could already see Peter waiting in a booth. She furrowed her brow and looked down at her phone at the time. She was early. He was even earlier. She frowned and started walking in his direction, and asked Pop Tate for her usual as she passed him at the counter. She suddenly came into contact with a body, which made her stumble backward, but the person didn’t budge at all.
“Watch where you’re going, princess.” Sweet Pea scoffed, pushing past her.
“Fuck off.” Rory spat as she rolled her eyes and flipped him off, anger bubbling in her chest. She took a deep breath before sliding into the seat across from her brother. He already had her milkshake waiting for her.
“You’re late.” He teased as he watched Sweet Pea exit the building with narrowed eyes.
           “You’re late!” Midge exclaimed playfully.
Rory shook the flashback out of her head and pushed the milkshake away from her slightly. Peter frowned. “I’m early. You’re too early.” She retorted, crossing her arms over her chest and leaning back against the seat.
“How are you?” Peter asked timidly. Rory smiled bitterly.
“Peachy,” she laughed. She took a breath. He lost her too. “How are you?”
He shifted to gaze out the window. “Peachy.” They sat in silence for a moment. What am I doing? Rory thought to herself.
“Let’s talk about it.” Rory sighed, placing her folded hands on the table. He continued to stare out the window, but she saw a single tear slip down his cheek.
“It was my fault,” He rasped out before clearing his throat and wiping his face. “If I had just skipped the movie at the Bijou and went with her to the fucking store, none of this would have happened. I could have held them back. I could have pulled her out of the way of the crowd. She wouldn’t have tripped and wouldn’t have been… I could have just —” His voice broke as he choked out a silent sob. Rory furrowed her brow, shaking her head. Her heart felt like it broke all over again just watching the sight in front of her. She reached across the table to grab his hand and squeezed it.
Rory laughed before reaching across the table to grab her hand. Rory squeezed her hand sympathetically.
Rory gasped and jerked her hand back as if she’d been shocked. She shook the memory out again. It felt like her lungs had just collapsed and her heart rate was rising significantly. Peter quickly reached across to grab her hand before it got too far. He faced her now, looking her in the eyes.
“I’m so sorry, Aurora. I’m sorry that our mom is gone because of me, and I’m so sorry I didn’t tell you about dad. I have been so angry about it and had to keep it to myself, because we were ‘never supposed to know.’ I’ve been so hurt. You’re not the only one that was hurt by it! I am your biological twin brother. We are related. And I’m the one that’s stuck without you because ‘dad’ has legal custody over me. I’ve been drowning without you.” He sobbed quietly, making sure not to attract extra attention from the other patrons of the restaurant. Rory stared back at him, silent tears streaming down her face.
“It isn’t your fault. You’re okay.” She cooed as she squeezed his hand. A waitress came by and put food on the table in front of them. Peter quickly wiped his face and cleared his throat, but Rory didn’t even bother. Peter stared down into his food, absentmindedly playing with his scrambled eggs. It remained silent between them for a while until Rory lifted a piece of bacon and playfully tried to “force feed” it to him. He laughed and took the bacon from her hand.
           “I missed you.” He smiled.
“I missed you, too, you freak of nature.”
