Good morning Exie, I just woke up so I’m sorry if this doesn’t make any sense, but I finally had another Sleep Token dream:

Something happened, and they where stranded at our house waiting for the tour bus to come pick them up, and we where just walking around our back yard (I have an acre back yard with trees on either side of it and a big pond, and we’re in a valley, it’s a pretty place, if you want I can send pics sometime) cause one of them thought it was cool. All I can really remember is just walking around with them and my sister. It was just a really long time of walking around the yard, and not really talking but just chilling. I know I got walk next to Vessel and IV, a couple times.

And then we all went in the house. And my sister told me to go get changed cause I got mud all over me cause I fell at one point (on brand I am a clutz), and when I got out they were gone😔. And I was very sad I didn’t get to wave good bye to them, so I sat on the front porch and pet the barn kittens. And that’s when I woke up.

And now it’s really funny to think about the guys, in full costume, walking around my back yard like that😂😂😂😂.

omg i love this! i would love to know what caused the boys to be stranded but also the mental image of them just wandering around all dressed up for the stage in a backyard is hilarious! also your yard sounds so nice?? i’d do anything to have a backyard again i am not built for apartment living 😭

also i totally feel that clutz moment- i am a walking disaster most of the time lol, mystery messes and bruises everywhere! but damn how rude they couldn’t stay to say goodbye. kittens are a good consolation though, always so happy and cute!

there are some shockingly peaceful protests in coruscant (maybe sheev is away so there is less stirring up of trouble or something) and the media are in the thick of it, looking to stir up some ‘interesting’ news and nab commander fox and thorn (or maybe a visiting fronty CC like cody and bly?) and ask them ‘what is the clone’s opinion on these anti-war protests?’ as if the clones are all the same and have the same opinion)

anyway fox and thorn are like 🥰 ‘we would never speak for our troopers on such a matter, let’s ask them!’

and the crowd parts and a few shinies and vets come through, and they’re all holding carefully painted signs, even grizzler is wearing a painted sign. and fox and thorn compliment each of them on their art and all of the messages are like ‘civilian coruscanti workers 🤝 clone troopers deserve a fair wage and enough food!’

and ‘let your troopers sleep!’ and ‘less war profiteering more governing!’ and stuff. some are even for not firing the cfs and senate guard (and giving all of their work to unpaid corries). grizzler’s sign says ‘I smell a mastiff corruption problem’

anyway the holo channel cuts that interview obviously, but enough protestors captured the whole thing and it goes viral anyway

Like I said, the first album had no skips for me, but my stand out songs are It Will Come Back, Someone New, and Jackie and Wilson. On Wasteland, Baby! my top three are, Nobody, Be and Sunlight. Honestly, Unreal, Unearth is probably my least favorite of his stuff (But not that I don't like it, ya know), I do love De Selby (part 2), and Francesca a lot tho. Fro the eps/singles, I love Arsonist's Lullabye, Moment's Silence (Common Tongue) and Too Sweet <3

de selby (part 1) has my heart- it aches and the fact that he sings in gaeilge?! incredible. i love when artists use their mother tongues, especially when it’s a language that seems to be dying

also really loved the vibes of son of nyx and butchered tongue!

i don’t understand how it took me so long to get into his stuff. it’s like sleep token but the yearning is even more. all his stuff aches?? like it leaves me so ugh.

unknown/nth. this is my fave on this newest album. there is literally nothing i love more musically than vocals and one instrument. there’s something so raw about it i adore it

too sweet? what a banger. and empire now was fucking phenomenal

moving onto the second album:

nina cried power was such an impactful way to open, looooooved it

i’m done travelling now so will probably not be continuing my binge of hozier for awhile, but these are my current thoughts on his music! i really really like it, very excited to see him in a few months
