The En of Love series (and family) of shows (including Future and 21 Day's Theory) all have core active and supportive friendship groups playing the found family role. My Engineer as well.

In that vein some of the early shows like Love Sick and Make it Right have great core friendship groups.

GMMTV likes this a lot: SOTUS, 2gether, My School President, Star in my Mind all do this.

Not all of these depict the finding of the family, some of them are kinda ready made, but I did my best.

There are others that have this but just aren't that great (sorry Vietnam).

That said it's no accident there's so much Taiwanese stuff in this category, they are particularly good on found family. I think it's because they understand the queer community better than lots of other BL producers.

If you want ACTUAL family stuff I recommend Papa & Daddy (just season 1).

How did I overlook the fact that she told Orca about Reese mortgaging his house for the concert??🤦 It really makes me wonder how long she has worked with Reese and what details she knows about his relationship with Orca. She must see her usually unflappable boss turn into a bumbling mess in the presence of this international superstar who just drops by unannounced and think something of it. It makes me wish for Reese and Orca's relationship from Mei's perspective.

She doesn't let Neil get away with acting like a little shit and I love her for it.

Mei's little pre-workday tea party is truly aspirational, tbh.

Sometimes Party Poison falls asleep during the day, and, more rarely, during firefights. They don't sleep very well, and very often stay up all night. Their biggest fear is losing someone they love, more specifically The Girl. They constantly get up during the night, pacing around, going room to room to check on their family. They'll have nightmares about The Girl dying and would have to put her in their room to comfort themselves. The very second they woke up one day and realized their "daughter" was gone, they just about went insane and almost killed everyone they could find. They felt so fucking irresponsible. They didn't even let the other 'joys wake up fully and prepare for a battle that would lead to their inevitable demise, just shoved them all in the Trans Am, desperate to hold The Girl again. And they thankfully did. For one last time.

Big is definitely one of the oldest ranch hands on the main family land, if not the oldest

he’s sort of always been there, a lot of people assume he did something as a child that Korn helped save him from in exchange for working the ranch, and that’s why he is so loyal to the family but it’s all very hush hush because Big is not exactly the sharing type

most of the ranch hands have a spotty past as it is, and most of them are “indebted” to Korn in some way

(Arm and Pol have a running wager with questionable yet growing “evidence” that it was some sort of murder that Korn helped him cover up)

overall he’s very dedicated to the ranch, he works hard and doesn’t say much until Porsche shows up and fucks everything up 24/7

Arm and Pol 100% have a small collection of photos where Big has fallen asleep with the cows

Ken is the only one who knows how Big got to the ranch but he likes to tell really outlandish lies to A&P to try and see what they will believe because he finds it funny watching them try to see if he’s telling the truth or not
