It's an emotional journey. You laugh and cry. Today we come up with a new story of the movie Forrest Gump. The movie was released in 1994 and its IMDB rating is 8.8 out of 10. So wasting no time let's start. The beginning of the movie shows a man named Forrest Gump sitting at the bus stop waiting for the bus. Then a woman comes and sits next to him and Forrest starts talking to her about her past and from here the flashback of the story goes. And it turns out that as a child, Forrest Gump had spinal problems, so his mother took him to the doctor, and the doctor gave him a weird steel-rod shoe. Forrest Gump had a lot of trouble wearing these shoes, but his mother always encouraged him to speak positively so that he would not feel regret his situation. Since his father was not there, his mother rented their house and used that rent to cover all their expenses. In this way one day a singer named Bresley came to their house. The next scene shows Forrest Gump dancing in a weird way while Bresley was playing the guitar.

📍 On Forrest Gump's lead actor Tom Hanks played the role of Forrest Gump in it's self-title movie, his same debut as an actor on 1994. If you will ask me who is my top American actor aside from Depp, Di Caprio, and England's Cumberbatch, my favorite is Tom Hanks (and also a celebrity crush). I have to admit that this is heavily influenced from him being the Robert Langdon of Dan Brown's book-to-movie adaptations (Angel & Demons, The Da Vinci Code, Inferno). Like how Daniel Radcliffe looked like destined to be HP, so does Hanks as Robert. Another thing is that he played 6 roles in Cloud Atlas (watch that too). He is flexible. Plus this is the same voice behind Woody of Toy Story. For a debut film, Hanks was promising in terms of performance for Forrest Gump, and considering other roles he took after this debut. That hurt like hell. (Sorry for spoilers) The ending of Forrest Gump (btw this is 2 hrs., and all worth it) proves that good people always have it worse or painful. Forrest have a low IQ, the only thing that made him survive school was playing because he runs fast. All his life he just went where his feet takes. And all the time, he just loves Jenny always. Everyone who knows this movie knows how sad it was when he cried because he is scared that his son might be not that smart like him, too. For a while, they were together and then she died. It was just really sad that ever since Forrest met Jenny, he just wants to keep her always. They ended up together but only for limited time. I can't even describe this anymore because it's just too beautiful and painful. These frames tell so much story. Jenny is Forrest's first friend, the only person on his first bus ride to school to offer him a seat. Forrest have no idea why Jenny doesn't like going home, because it turns out that his father is touching her. They went on separate ways. Jenny getting laid everywhere, joining a folk band because she loves singing, and being lost altogether. Running away everywhere. While Forrest runs because he is good at it, Jenny runs because she doesn't know else where to go. It shows how much of our child days contribute to what we bring when we become grown ups. Sometimes, it's the home that is the root of all our scars, the very first place that should be the first one to show us love.
