For a long time I have wanted to talk about "The High Stakes Club", I certainly had no idea what to talk about exactly, there wasn't much information about them, even now there isn't usually enough information even though there is a little more prominence on their part due to the issue that Kado is a vampire and that the singer they admired has finally revealed herself to be a vampire and their main enemy.

How did my love for The High Stakes Club start?

¿Cómo empezó mi amor por el club de las estacas encadenadas?

It all started with Joni The Red, to be honest when I saw the concept it didn't catch my attention, it's funny because even when it was officially announced as a skin for the December Fortnite Crew Joni still didn't catch my attention, it wasn't until the moment when I was able to see the skin within the game that completely changed my perception and I can say that so far, at least for me, Joni TheRed is the best skin within the list of skins within the Fortnite Crew.

Joni is very important, not only because she is the leader of The High Stakes Club, but she was also our first contact with said club, and since then I wanted to know more about her. What is her story? What event made you its leader? So, Joni turned out to be more than a skin with a good design.

Todo comenzó con Joni The Red, pare ser sincera cuando vi el concepto no me llamo la atención, es gracioso porque incluso cuando se anuncio de manera oficial como skin del Fortnite Crew de Diciembre Joni siguió sin llamar mi atención, no fue hasta el momento en que pude ver la skin dentro del juego que mi percepción cambio completamente y puedo decir que hasta el momento, por lo menos para mi, Joni TheRed es la mejor skin dentro del listado de skins dentro del Fortnite Crew.

Joni es muy importante, ya no solo porque es el líder de El Club de las Estacas Encadenadas, si no que también fue nuestro primer contacto con dicho club, y desde ese entonces yo ya quería saber mas sobre este personaje ¿Cuál es su historia? ¿Cuales eran sus motivaciones? así pues con el tiempo me daría cuenta que Joni resulto ser mas que una skin con un buen diseño.

The fact that she is a survivor turns out to be a piece of information that gives us a bit of material to speculate regarding Joni's story, maybe she survived a vampires attack and that is the reason why she founded or joined to The High Stakes Club, however, it is just my theory as there is not enough information about it.

In fact, the founding of the club is a mystery, at first I thought it was a kind of school where they recruited young people to teach them how to hunt vampires, especially because all the members of the Club wear a shield and/or emblem on their clothing and/or accessories. representing The High Stakes Club. However now I'm not so sure it's a school, maybe it's just something they decided to create…

Continuing with Joni, exactly 15 days after its release, Fortnite publishes the following video… OMG!! you should have seen my face.

The video has no dialogue but it tells us about Joni's personality, her Job, the trailer looks amazing, I love it, the only thing I can think of every time when I watch it, is: << I absolutely need an animated series about "The High Stakes Club" >>, <<I need more content about them>>.

At this point, believe me, I was already more than in love with the concept, the aesthetics, the tremendous appearance that Joni carried. I even thought that she was a vampire because her pupils are different from other skins and they glow red in the dark.

There are certainly many things we still don't know about Joni The Red.

El video no tiene dialogo pero nos habla respecto a Joni, podemos ver un poco sobre como su personalidad, o a lo que se dedica. El trailer simplemente luce increíble, me encanta, en lo único que puedo pensar cuando lo veo es en lo mucho que deseo ver una serie animada de "El Club de las Estacas Encadenadas", sobre lo mucho que deseo mas contenido respecto a ellos.

A estas alturas créanme yo ya estaba mas que enamorada del concepto, de la estética, de la tremenda facha que cargaba Joni. incluso llegue a pensar que ella era vampiro porque sus pupilas son diferentes a de otras skins ademas de que brillan de rojo en la oscuridad.

Ciertamente hay muchas cosas que aun no sabemos sobre Joni The Red.

Helsie

After the release of chapter 4, we met Helsie another member of "The High Stakes Club" I liked her design from the beginnin, she gave me some Blackpink vibes, but once I knew a little more about the context of her story and personality, I think it was easy to get attached to her.

Her description says

"Adventure-seeker. Vampire staker. Boba master. Sweet, bubbly Helsie may not look fearsome, but this member of teenage vampire hunters The High Stakes Club is more dangerous than she seems".

After this description I have reason to believe that she is the strongest of the three, my main proof is that Brandon Vuong, the creator of the characters Joni, Helsie and Lucien, drew the following panel.

Después de la salida del capitulo 4 conocimos a Helsie, otra miembro de "El Club de las Estacas Encadenadas", me gusto su diseño desde el inicio, me dio unas vibes de Blackpink, pero una vez conociendo un poco mas del contexto de su historia y personalidad, creo que resulto fácil encariñarse de ella.

Su descripción dice:

"Buscaaventuras. Cazavampiros. Experta en té. Puede que la dulce y alegre Helsie no dé miedo, pero esta joven cazadora de vampiros, socia del Club de las estacas encadenadas, es más peligrosa de lo que parece."

Tras esta descripción tengo motivos para creer que ella es la mas fuerte de los tres, mi principal prueba es que Brandon Vuong, el creador de los personajes Joni, Helsie y Lucien, dibujo el siguiente panel.

"You were always the strongest of us"

Not only for the simple fact that Joni tells her, also because she carries the heaviest weapon of the three, which is a huge axe, I have reasons to believe that none of them are an ordinary human.

The dialogue is very short but it also tells a little more about Helsie's personality and the love and respect she has for Joni as well as Joni for her, in short, it is art.

Ya no solo por el simple hecho de que Joni se lo dice, si no porque ella lleva el arma mas pesada de los tres, que es un hacha enorme, tengo razones para creer que ninguno de ellos en un humano ordinario.

El dialogo es muy corto pero también los habla un poco mas de la personalidad de Helsie y sobre el amor y respeto que tiene por Joni así como Joni por ella, en definitiva, es arte.

Lucien West

And finally Lucien West arrived as a store skin in that same season, he is the only male in the group but he is also the most mysterious of the 3, I think he is the one we have the least information about. The description of him literally says "Rebel. Dreamer. Protector of his chosen family". That is, he considers his friends as his family and protects them.

He has a backpack called "Lil Louie", it is a kind of stuffed animal that looks a little old, it could be a stuffed animal of a pet or something, but I'm not sure, in case Lucien has that vibe like someone Fierce but faithful, something like a wolf, I don't know, I really wish I knew more.

I know that the narrative within Fortnite is strange, confusing and most of the time unfinished but it is a fact that with so little we could see enough to realize how much they love each other, the mutual respect they have, and that unbreakable brotherhood that exists between them, It feels like something genuine that you would want to be a part of, just remember the dialogues when Lucien had not yet appeared in the store and how his colleagues were worried about him but they also know his strength and trust him that he will return safely, they are so beautiful.

Y Finalmente llego Lucien West como skin de tienda en esa misma temporada, es el único varón del grupo pero también es el mas misterioso de los 3, creo que es del que menos información tenemos. Su descripción dice literalmente "Rebelde, soñador y protector de la familia que eligió", es decir él considera sus amigas como su familia y las protege.

Tiene una mochila que se llama "Louie Chiquito", es una especie de peluche que se ve un poco viejo, puede que sea el peluche de alguna mascota o algo, pero no estoy segura, de por si Lucien tiene ese vibe como de alguien Feroz pero fiel, algo así como un lobo, no lo se, en verdad desearía saber mas.

Yo se que la narrativa dentro de Fortnite es rara, confusa y la mayoría de las ocasiones inconclusa pero es un hecho que con tan poco pudimos se puede ver lo suficiente como para darse cuenta de lo mucho que se quieren, el respeto mutuo que se tienen y esa inquebrantable hermandad que hay entre ellos. Se siente como algo genuino de la que quisieras formar parte. Solo recuerden los diálogos cuando Lucien aun no aparecía en la tienda y como sus compañeros estaban preocupados por el pero también conocen su fuerza y confían en que volverá sano y salvo, es que es bellísimo, su amistad es muy bonita, de las mas bonitas que se ha visto en Fortnite desde el Bnananin con Jonesy.

Condesa Daraku

She is not part of "The High Stakes Club" but her appearance revived the lore of these three boys.

I put them in context Joni, Helsie and Lucien are not only united by vampire hunting, or by their great brotherhood, they are also united by music, they are great admirers of Daraku and her music.

Desde el inicio se insinuó que Daraku es una vampiro, y en este capitulo 4 temporada 4 se nos confirmo ese hecho, pero las estacas encadenadas cazan vampiros ¿Verdad?

Al inicio de la temporada pareciera que ellos no estaban enterados de ese hecho, pero desde la aparición de Kado, que también es un vampiro y tras la nueva actualización, pareciera que ellos de alguna forma lo lograron descubrir y ahora se sienten traicionados y decepcionados pero eso no es todo, la condesa desea acabar con ellos.

After the arrival of their new package at the store literally called "The High Stakes Club" the descriptions talk about how they are going to go to a concert (most likely Daraku's) and how it will affect them knowing that their idol is a vampire.

Tras la llegada de su nuevo bundle a la tienda llamado literalmente "El Club De Las Estacas Encadenadas" las descripciones hablan de que van a acudir a un concierto (muy seguramente de Daraku) y el como les afectara saber que su ídola es una vampiro.

The following is a theory/fan fic but I think there is a lot of potential here for an exceptional Fortnitemares, where the stakes face their idol in the middle of a concert and festival of lights, I think that Fortnite would be very foolish to waste such an opportunity, especially with how much the community loves these characters.

Maybe I'm asking too much, but I'd settle for just watching a short one-minute cinematic.

Because of how Fortnite handles the lore and the characters, it would make me very sad to know that after this season they abandon everything related to them when their mere presence makes fans like me happy.

"The Chained Stakes Club" has so much potential that I'm looking forward to seeing more of them in the future.

Lo siguiente es una teoría/ fan fic pero creo que aquí hay muchísimo potencial para un excepcional Fortnitemares, en donde las estacas se enfrenten a su ídola en medio de un concierto y festival de luces, pienso que Fortnite seria muy tonto al desperdiciar semejante oportunidad, en especial con lo mucho que la comunidad quiere a estos personajes.

Quizá pido mucho pero me conformaría solo con ver una pequeña cinemática de un minuto.

Por como Fortnite maneja el lore y los personajes me haría muy triste saber que después de esta temporada abandonen todo lo relacionado a ellos cuando su mera presencia hace felices a fans como yo.

"El Club De Las Estacas Encadenadas" tiene mucho potencial que estoy deseando ver mas de ellos en un futuro.
