If they do this they would be repeating the exact same mistake they made with Logan. Kimi, although talented, is very very new to F2 and isn’t even doing that good yet. For him to replace Logan at this stage would not only end Logan’s career but potentially end Kimi’s before it even begins

“Dude, who’s the hottest F1 driver?”
“Obviously, it’s Charles Leclerc. But there’s-”
“That’s such a basic fucking bitch answer.”
“All right, you want a real answer?”
“Yes!”
“Max Verstappen specifically when he’s all hot and sweaty after a race. Look it up.”

This might be a hot take but I get the impression that Williams might have made Logan sign an NDA because we haven’t heard a word from him after his statement on his app got deleted, and yes we’ve seen him but we haven’t heard anything from him himself and I love Kyle but he is playing the middle man for all the information that we have gotten on Logan’s future plans so far, like when a reporter could easily walk up to Logan in the Indy paddock and asked Logan questions but they haven’t. So I have a feeling when Williams fired Logan they made him sign an NDA until the end of the season so there pr does not take any more hits.

“lando norris is ruining f1 for me!”
f1, really? the whole of f1?
you mean the same f1 where zhou guanyu dragged a car only slightly more aerodynamic than a cinder block into Q3 because it was his home race? the same f1 where esteban ocon and lance stroll are two of the most hated drivers on the grid but despite coming from absolutely opposite backgrounds they’ve still found comfort and happiness in each other? the same f1 where george russell has spent his entire mercedes time wearing a sign that says “will never be as good as his teammate” and still treats lewis with ultimate admiration and respect? the same f1 where logan sargeant was cast out in the most disgraceful way possible and the two people who were the closest to him on the grid came together and said the same thing about his greater potential in the face of that decision? the same f1 where esteban and pierre have been enemies for years and are finally starting to learn how to drive as a team? the same f1 where max has outperformed every single teammate he’s ever had and still continues to stand up for checo? the same f1 where nico and kevin went from a bitter and fuming rivalry to fighting tooth-and-nail, claws-out for each other on and off the track? the same f1 where danny ric got kicked to the curb by his team with the most pathetic excuse for a goodbye (if you could even call it that) ever so the WHOLE GRID joined in trying to make him feel remembered? the same f1 where charles finally won his home race after years of anguish and humiliation and was so overwhelmed that he basically fell into his teammate’s arms, the same teammate who strategized and defended for him the whole race? the same f1 where charles and max have been rivals since they first knew the other existed and are STILL the first ones to congratulate each other even if one of them wins and the other spends the whole race trying to manhandle his car to the finish line in one piece? the same f1 where logan’s crash caught fire and george was about to leave his car on a live track and pull him to safety if logan didn’t move? the same f1 where alex won’t let frustration or anger turn into a single negative word about another driver because he has enough empathy for the whole paddock?
that f1?

Okay me wanting to see Ollie in F1 aside, I just think it’s absolutely insane that everyone expects an F1 driver to recover from a sudden appendectomy in less than two weeks. Like I’m sorry, one of his organs ruptured, he got emergency surgery to have it removed, and in 12 days, we expect Carlos to happily drive over 300kph three days in a row??? Most mf’s aren’t cleared to lift over 35 pounds in that time. It’s a miracle Alex made it to Singapore in 2022, but he got three weeks!! Maybe Carlos should sit Melbourne out. Just a thought.

F1 HOT TAKES. pls remember that these are MY OPINIONS
Both Papaya drivers are overrated
The only reason Liam got the seat over Yuki is that Redbull is racist
Lance Stroll is fine actually y'all just love to hate
Lewis moving to Ferrari isnt that big a deal he's literally moving next door
Charles Leclerc AT THE MOMENT is not WC material
Carlos Sainz will not do well at Williams im sorry
LHers- 2021 was 4 years ago, accept that Lewis didn't get the championship and move on
Getting mad at completely unrelated drivers becasue your fav doesn't have a seat is childish
sending hate to any driver is also childish
Getting into F1 from DTS is perfectly fine and should not be condemned
RPF is fine (not really a hot take but i thought id say it)
Once again these are MY OPINIONS dont attack me

This is Madness
Lewis Hamilton to Ferrari is huge. Few things;
First, poor Carlos, having to announce his own departure is brutal.
Second, if Toto really only did find out yesterday, why? Was Lewis afraid he would change his mind? Guilt? Is the W15 a disaster?
Third, Ferrari was the only other option. There was very little chance he would wind up at Redbull. Max is first driver, Christian Horner has admitted to not seeing a future with him.
Fourth, BONO?! He signed an extension contract. So the question is does he have an out clause as well? Will Lewis buy him out? Can he? Will Bono even choose Lewis?
Fifth, Team Loyalty is a big deal in modern F1, but that's the key, it's modern. F1 drivers used to change teams more frequently. We've seen it even now. Alonso has been on six teams total, with separate stints at different times for Renault and McLaren. Kimi drove for five teams. Seb drove for five teams. Checo, five, and so on. Hamilton's stint with Mercedes is unprecedented. 17 years total. Not something to scoff at, but unprecedented. It shouldn't be treated as some ultimate betrayal. He was the exception to the rule.
Sixth, I think Lewis implicitly trusts Fred Vasseur. Do I? No. Do I think that the rumors going around about poaching Red Bull staff and the fact that we don't know about Bono or Andrew could mean that Lewis's side of the garage is stacked exactly how he wants it.
Seventh, Charles is not going to be second driver, not really. Yes, you don't bring a driver like Lewis in to make him second fiddle, but I think that the hope is that Charles will learn what he's been missing, and I love Charles but there are definitely moments that demonstrated room for growth. Lewis has always talked about how much the sport has changed, and even though it is his complaints that make headlines, his positive enforcement of some of these changes is a good attitude to bring. Charles is the 'Il Predestinato' they just want to make sure that he's the best version of it they can get.
Eighth, The Mercedes garage is going to spin this season. Their PR team is going to work like never before. They're going to spin the narrative to George, they're going to isolate Lewis. He can't be in the future development meetings anymore, he's the competition. His colleagues of a decade can no longer trust him and that is sure to be lonely. They're not going to let that be the story. I think we might even be seeing some of it already. The question as to whether or not Toto knew in advance, coming out against the fact that allegedly Sainz and LeClerc have known for at least a couple weeks, is interesting and I'm intrigued at the level of truth.
Ninth, Whether you like Lewis or not, there were moments last season that the team shafted him. Prioritizing his teammate when he was in a better position, abandoning him on podium, etc. Lewis was so supportive of Susie and Toto, George didn't even bother to do anything other than repost the official statement. Lewis was Jack's hero, now all of a sudden, George is the one on vacations, and teaching him carting. The relationship has been slowly fracturing since Abu Dhabi 2021. Whether or not Lewis leaves on a good note at the end of the season will depend on if Mercedes will even give him the time of day. This could very well be Daniel Ricciardo at McLaren.
Finally, I don't think Lewis Hamilton has ever been the type to pull the rug out from someone without cause. He's always been a huge target in the F1 community and I think he's been ready for a change for a while. It's hard to make a change, especially when you're leaving something that once treated you so well. If it is true that he gave Mercedes no proper warning then hopefully he apologizes and explains. We're not entitled to know, but they are.

you walked in on him adjusting his tie in front of the mirror, suddenly, you wanted to be a little naughty so you came closer and steal the tie from him (while you two kissing) so he decided to go out only with the suit.
then when he was on the way back home, he sent you this picture and a text: “your work of art :)”

To the people who are out there joking or making awful comments about about Logan’s crash I hope all you burn in hell and find some empathy because that was such a scary crash that could have ended terribly, but luckily, Logan walked away fine.
In formula one a crash can happen at any moment, any time, to any driver on the grid, and thats whether or not the driver is a top driver from a top team or a bottom driver from a midfield team.
So to see people go and joke around and make awful comments about a serious f1 car crash where the car was literally so damaged it might need all new components and caught on fire and you even have some commentators saying that fire was unusual is just so gross because what if Logan had been injured? Would the people who’s first thought to laugh still be laughing or making snide remarks on some social media sites still do that and is a car more important than a drivers safety?
How about when a driver crashes we don’t go under comment sections and make jokes or awful comments towards them and this applies to all drivers. So PEOPLE HAVE EMPATHY AND DROP A NICE COMMENT EVERY ONCE IN AWHILE BECAUSE IT NOT THAT HARD…

the poor mclaren pr team are going to be working over time tonight. Because not only are they going to have to match the all the celebrations they did for Lando's maiden win, so things like special spot lights, more interviews, reels and photo's, getting the entire McLaren factory together to hail him like a hero (convincing Zak brown to get another tattoo) but they Also hove to figure out a way to smooth out today's fuckery with the fans.
What happened to day isn't sitting right with literally anyone, from the stabbing Oscar in the back, to psychological warfare on radio, to just looking like idiots, and the obvious tension in the cool down room between drivers, McLaren does not look good.
So PR team is going to have to do a few things
Promote the Oscar-Lando friendship so fans don't think anything is wrong there (i'm not saying there is but extreme fans, at even a hint of rivalry/bad blood can turn very viciously against the other driver)
We've already got a Zak brown video but expect more of him and other higher ups shaking hands and kissing babies
All the Oscar celebrations will have to look and go perfect - lest they be accused of favoritism/sabotage
Humanize and make us like the pit wall again - so once everyone calms a little I wouldn't be surprised if we see some Sauber type beat of team content
And promises of doing better to the team, public, rest of the grid/pitlane, and fans
Some serious driver appeasement in the media (I'm not to sure what this would look like)
Not to mention their heading to Spa where famously, they haven't always done well so if they crash and burn next weekend all the criticism is going to double
