[NEWS] Musical Touken Ranbu: The Release of the "Musical Touken Ranbu ~MUSIC CLIPS 2015-2020~" has been Announced

In celebration of the 5th anniversary of the "Musical Touken Ranbu", the production has announced the release of the "Musical Touken Ranbu ~MUSIC CLIPS 2015-2020~" Blu-ray/DVD.

i’d like to share one of the song from Toumyu Mihotose, ‘JACKAL’ and this audio is ripped personally by me from my own cd copy (this is from Sengo Muramasa version)

Sengo’s solo songs did not got included in the single but this song amazes me because he got so much lines here! as if this is Sengo Muramasa (feat. Others)

I love the instrumental for this song as well! it’s kinda electro-ish and kinda have a k-pop and j-pop tune (i think most toumyu songs got these as well) If you want me to share the instrumental, please do let me know~ 

Mokkun got a great voice and I really loved him as Sengo! that’s why I only bought his version for this musical (p.s -real reason I got Sengo ver. is because the album is pink and it’s the official fan color for SNSD lmao)

anyway, this cd album is the 2nd one i got from Toumyu franchise. I got Yasusada ver. for Yume Hitotsu (now, Piyo is no longer alone because his bf Mokkun is now with him)

[NEWS UPDATE] Musical Touken Ranbu: Gentle Reminder about the Reservation Deadline

The official distributor of the online streams for the "Musical Touken Ranbu" will be making some of the productions available for streaming free of charge at specific dates and times starting from April 24, 2020.

Gotta love team Mihotose

Team Mihotose is scheduled to perform on NHK J-Melo on November 3rd. This segment will be broadcast internationally, so do check it out! (see link in notes).

Interesting that Toumyu decided on this formation for this broadcast, especially since they already have Kishou Hongi already running. Also, there’s an assorted stable of Touken Danshis showing up for Uta Awase rehearsals concurrently, so Toumyu really has a sizable range of swords to choose from for this event.

They most likely went with this formation to promote the release of Mihotose 2019 on DVD/BD. Also, they were the only team left out the last time Toumyu was on NHK with Songs of Tokyo, so perhaps they’re making up for that. Mihotose 2019 live had some of the best songs Toumyu ever released, at least in my opinion, so to have them showcased internationally is a great move.

Either way, I am so glad that we get to see team Mihotose together again before we lose Mokkun to his other work (Innocence) after Kishou Hongi wraps. Team Mihotose is going to sound strange without Sengo at Uta Awase so to enjoy another performance with them fully intact is a definite treat.

Back to this amazing photo though. Makishima Hikaru (Ookurikara) mentioned on Twitter that he designed these matching shirts and presented them to his team! He’s also busy with Uta Awase rehearsals but had time to have a meal with Spi and Kiyama Haruki, who spoke to each other in random bursts of English!
