Legends and myths about trees
Celtic beliefs in trees (6)
Ogham alphabet and tree calendar
The Ogham alphabet is the most ancient Irish writing script. There, every letter of the alphabet is associated with the name of a tree, and for this reason, ogam is sometimes known as the Celtic tree alphabet.
The ogham script was a secret means of communication for the druids and also a key to the spirit world.
There are roughly 400 surviving orthodox inscriptions on stone monuments throughout Ireland and western Britain, the bulk of which are in southern Munster. The largest number outside Ireland are in Pembrokeshire, Wales.
Details of the Celtic tree calendar are as follows:
B for Beth (Birch) - December 24th - January 20th
L for Luis (Rowan) - January 21st - February 17th
N for Nion (Ash) - February 18th - March 17th
O for Onn (Golden Gorse) - March 21st Spring Equinox
F for Fearn (Alder) - March 18th - April 14th
S for Saille (Willow) - April 15th - May 12th
H for Huath (Hawthorn) - May 13th - June 9th
D for Duir (Royal Oak) - June 10th - July 17th
U for Ura (Heather) - June 21st Summer Solstice
T for Tinne (Holly) - July 18th - August 5th
C for Coll (Hazel) - August 5th - September 1st
Q for Quert (Apple) - September 2nd - September 29th
E for Eadha (Aspen) - September 21st Autumn Equinox
G for Gort (Ivy) - September 30th - October 27th
Ng for Ngetl (Broom) - October 28th - November 24th
Ss for Straif (Blackthorn) - Samhain/Hallowe'en
R for Ruis (Elder) - November 25th - December 21st
I for Idho (Yew) - December 21st Winter Solstice
A for Ailm (Pine) - December 23rd Birth of the Divine child
Ph for Phagos (Beech) - all year around

Continuing slightly from a previous shit post, dragons.
So some people would love to be a dragon from Western forklore. You're big, scaly, scary, and can breathe fire at people who piss you off. Badass right? And like I have nothing against this. I'm asexual, and I think these kinds of dragons are cool af.
However, I propose being a dragon from Chinese forklore. They're not very destructive, and they can't breathe fire, but they're an omen of good luck. They'll show up at like great times of good luck and everyone will be like OH MY DRAGON LIFE WON'T SUCK FOR A WHILE. They'll also like show up, wish everyone a happy new year, then leave and have everyone just freaking out. Like imagine being a dragon in Chinese forklore, everyone loves you and thinks you're good luck, you show up once in a couple years and be like hi have a great time until I show up years later, leave and just chill and do whatever introvert dragon thing you want to do, with full knowledge that everyone who saw you is freaking out and really happy. Sounds cool lmao.

I once had a dream that is becoming a fan TF continuity about how gods from different cultures (mainly greek and Mexican because I only knew more of them when I had the dream) were so angry at Cybertronians for destroying parts of the earth and killing humans/their followers that they started to terrorize both Autobots and Cons.
My dream was so wacky, literally, OP and Megan fighting and slaying mythical creatures right and left. Until a god (I don't remember if it was Zeus or maybe Mictecacihuatl) literally made a jump scare to both leaders and say to their faces...
"This earth is not yours! And neither is yours!! We do not welcome soules metal beings"
And then... fucking Megatron screamed at the god and don't know what happen next because someone turned on the light in my room and woke up.
But the thought of how Cybertronians would act/react to higher beings... if they exist in the TF universe of course.
Hope you can understand that my dreams are weird...
Dude my dreams are also insane i feel ya! I once had a dream were i was a werewolf and started a revolution, was tortured, then died lmao I am no stranger to those!
But!
You make a very interesting point.
In my Primus Lite AU.... One of the reasons why humans and Earth changed (besides being descendant of THE Chaos Being) was bc of how much of a hotspot Earth is for the supernatural. I hadn't got to that part yet.
And it wouod be interesting to have the gods of world deny Megatron everything bc "Our world does not belong to the likes of you."
But the 'bots and 'cons being fucking terrified of our forklore that has turned out to be true (either before or after the Cyberforming) is tickling the Brain activity.

The black eyed children.
Hi, umm.. well let's forget about me being inactive and continue as if I didn't vanish for months (^.^;
I'm not a social person and doesn't really go on social media, expect of youtube for funny videos and cartoon episodes that don't air on the t.v as much :p It's a bit childish, yes, but cartoons are much better that the shows that air nowadays ‾\_(ッ)_/‾ anyways enjoy reading about this legend.
Black eyed children or black eyed kids are an American comtemporay legend of parnormal creatures that resemble children between ages 6 and 16 with pales skin and black eyes, who are reportedly seen hichhiking or begging or are encounted on doorsteps of residential homes.
While tabloid coverage of these creatures has claimed that tales of the blackeyed children have existed since the 1980s, most sources indicate that the legend originated from 1996 posting written by taxes reporter Brian Bethel on a ghost-related mailing list, relating two alleged encounters with "black-eyed kids".
Bethel describes encountering two such children in Abilene, Texas in 1996 and claims that a second person had a similar and related encounter in Portland, Oreagon. Bethel's stories have become regarded as classic examples of creepypasta, and gained such the urban legend.
In 2012 Brian Bethel tumhe stories on reality t.v series "Monsters and Mysteries in America". He wrote a fellow-up article for the Abilene Reporter News, describing his experience and maintaining his belief that it was legitimate.
In 2012 the horror film "Black eyed kids" produced with Kickstarter funding, it's director commented that the creepy children were "an urban Legend that's been floating around on the internet for years now, I always thought it was fascinating."
A 2013 episode of MSN's weekly strange that features reports of black eyed children is thought to have helped spread the legends on the internet. During one week in September 2014 the British tabloid daily star Run three sensationalistic front page storees about allege sightings of the Black Eyed children, connected to the sale of a supposed haunted pub in Staffordshire. The paper claimed a "shock rise in sightings around the world".
Alleged sightings are taking seriously by ghost hunters some of whom believe black eyed children to be extraterrestrials, vampires or ghosts.
Science writer Sharon A. Hill was unable to find any documentation of Black Eye child encounters, considering that the tales are passed on as "friend of a friend" ghost stories. Hill consider the legend to resemble "typical spooky forklore stories" but as the Phantom black dog where the subject is not Supernatural and there may never have been an actual original encounter.
Snopes rates Tales of Black Eyed children as a legend and cities and inquisitr article that advice dresses to"(f)ile black eye children under the same heading as "bigfoot".
Believe it if you like but realiz that there is no evidence of these existence, just subjective testimony that ranges from reasonable to suspicious fame-whoring.

LU Skull Kid "subtly" trying to tell Sehel that Twilight has the hots for him
@requiemofthespirit
Sehel would have recognized that bone mask anywhere.
"Eu!" he greeted, hand waving out of the water. "Timade, de!"
"Timada, da pa," replied the little wooden thing standing on the platform a short swim from the beach.
"Amu se munu curana pa," the Zora pointed out.
"Curanelu pa, qece se darsalu pa."
"Lu va, lu va. Ioi felohe de."
"Feloha da."
What a weird conversation, Sehel thought: "Mafe beilce ma darse?"
"Ghe."
"Ane beilce du?"
"Ce Link dacensu, se tao pulre de."
His semi-transparent crest shot upwards; he quickly flattened it back down on his head manually, with both hands, while half of his face instantly submerged to hide the burning grey blush spreading and completely overtaking his face.
"Dacensa ce baisuse vafu," Skull Kid added nonchalantly, laying on the floating wood, blissfully unaware of the Zora's embarassment.
"Amu i mozen asvata!" Sehel stopped them with a nervous iteration of his whirlpool-sounding laugh: "I perabaroe du, tvera pulra dacensuma ane baisuma vafu!"
"Perabaroe du pa," they argued back.
"Cochure, de! Lu ane ma, dua- afernua, dua!"
"Amu basuse vafu."
"Ane qece tao tarete de?"
"Ce darsu."
At that, the Zora briefly forgot to breathe.
"Darsu?" he repeated weakly.
Skull Kid nodded: "Darsu."
"... Ane rece darsu?"
"Varenti dosomu."
It wasn't necessarily a lie, because Twilight had indeed murmured Sehel's name once or twice during particularly deep sleep, wriggling as if to hold something tighter and spasming his lips very slightly, and most importantly because as much as he denied it he really did hold a very deep fondness for the young amphibian; but Skull Kid did not know that in the traditional forklore of Terminian Zoras sleeptalking was considered to be the most honest and genuine of expressions, as well as one of the rarest; and that clear messages especially - perfectly comprehensible in comparison to incoherent babbles or confusing riddles - were believed to hold the truest thoughts of a person.
Sehel looked back to shore, where most of the Hylians were minding their business. By fatal accident, Twilight noticed him, and smiled very brightly in his direction.
The Zora waved a little, desperately hoping he was far enough for his burning grey face not to be seen.
"Dacensa ce baselu dafe," Skull Kid commented, still oblivious to the whirlwind of emotions he was unleashing onto the poor scaled boy: "Masifiu du."
"... Pei dacenselu," Sehel wheezed.
Then he submerged into the deepest part of the bay, crest finally springing upwards and face completely grey with blush, and screamed into his hands, kicking at the water like a little girl who just got her prom invitation accepted.
