“All by yourself??” Seungmin said while taking your arm. “You could’ve gotten hurt!”

“I can take care of myself…” you frown as he pulls you to the couch.

“No… let me put away the groceries…” you said with a sigh.

“No seungmin, I don’t want a nap!” You said before he suddenly lifted you up.

“No! No! No!” You yelled, squirming around in his arms before he threw you on the bed, pinning you down. His hand was big enough to hold both your wrists tightly over your head.

“Stop it!” He snapped. “Stop it or you’re going on time out!”

You only looked at him with tears in your eyes. The way he was holding you down was scary, especially how he used his other hand to hold your waist down, making it so you could barely move.

“Hm… I could never be mad at you.” He said with a sigh. “You’re just too cute. So small and perfect… like a little doll…”

You didn’t know what to say at his sudden shift in mood and only nodded.

“After all, your just a baby… don’t know anything, right?”

You nodded again and Seungmin let go of your wrists, then gently kissing your lips.

“You shouldn’t have gone out without me…” he said calmly with an odd, unsettling smile. “Someone could hurt you…”

“I’m… I’m sowwy…” you responded, hoping it’d make him happy.

“I know you are.” He said while rubbing your cheek. “Now… it’s naptime.”

“Okay…” you said quietly as he gets off of you and you lay your head on the pillows.

three short, quiet knocks signaled y/n's entrance into the half greyscale dorm room. not waiting for an answer that wouldn't come, the century old being gracefully entered the room. her quiet emotion could be heard by Wednesday as y/n stiffly sat on Wednesday's bed.

"what has cause this unwanted onslaught of emotions, my bat?" Wednesday asked while watching Thing leap off her desk and head towards y/n.

a bitter, reserved sigh left the vampire. "simply parental issues, mi amour, nothing else. how goes the torturous process of slowly weaving your life into the pages of a 'fictional' scenario?"

Day almost smirked. "dreadful."

y/n greeted Thing with a fond smile. happy to be around less... plagued... company, thing excitedly communicated about the gossip around school- as if y/n hadn't heard.

"It's almost midnight. Shall we sneak out?"

y/n looked up, somewhat surprised at her girlfriend's proposal. "Of course."

"I request that you explain to me what has made you less... expressive," Wednesday murmured, small body pressed embarrassingly close to the looming figure of her hot vampire girlfriend.

withholding a sneer, y/n ran her tongue over her fangs. "I don't want to overshare. I know how you feel about... talking."

Wednesday scoffed. "I think if I've held your hand on three occasions and 'cuddled' with you once you should be able to talk to me about what makes you mad. I may be detached but I am not inhuman. Well, neither are you, but here we are."

y/n chuckled lowly. "mother desires my return this year at the castle. she has explained that i am to return home in the near future to inherit our castle so mother and father may go spend their trillions of dollars elsewhere." with a sigh, y/n sunk her teeth into her lip. after the bitter crimson liquid coated her tongue, y/n sighed once more. "i have been 'escaping my duties as a wealthy immortal daughter', or so mother says."

Wednesday looked up. y/n's face was illuminated by the pale moonlight, features sharper but somehow blurred due to the shadows. her teeth gnawed furiously as her lip and Wednesday paused. "refrain from making yourself bleed," she commanded lightly, with a barely audible "please" to follow. "do what you think is right, not what she wants, my bat. she is immortal, she cannot hold a grudge against you for eternity."

"of course. thank you, 'Day."

with a careful expression, Wednesday lightly held her palm to y/n's hand, symbolizing to y/n to make the move to hold her hand. the vampire laced fingers with Wednesday, and smiled when the smaller body huddled closer to y/n on the small blanket lain out on the grass.

going to reflect EXTREMELY briefly on the fact that's like. listen. i was in bts fandom for probably about 5 years. i watched the fandom get weirdly obsessed with boypussy fic (and to be clear i will defend the genre In Conception: it is nice to be able to write fic about trans people without the emotional and social burden of transness, trans bodies can be acknowledged as hot without social context, it Has Its Place and i am not scorched earth on the Concept)

but like. boypussy fic got popular in bts fandom because the fandom was incredibly transphobic (kpop fandom in general was incredibly transphobic) and cis authors really liked to fetishize transmasc bodies, narratively treat bp characters like they are women, and then turn around and harass actual trans people for writing genderbends, insist that being trans is a mental illness, and scream cry throw up when trans folks didn't let cis authors cry plagiarism about their extremely basic ideas about trans experiences (all real things that happened to me and literally just the tip of the iceberg). huge portion of the bp fic was literally just treating the character narratively like a woman down to the Pet Names and just using he/him pronouns for the character.

and my alcoholic ex used to get blackout drunk on video call and go on about how my "boypussy" is hot literally so many times after i told them i didn't like that and it didn't make me feel good about myself. just like in the fic!!! :) :) :) :) and then (sober) treat their afab femme presenting non-transitioning journey like it was worse than whatever i went through, my fucking texas ass transitioned in grad school with not a single trans elder got discriminated against nearly wasn't able to work bc the ssa wouldn't fucking change my name literally still constantly terrified of being outed bc i could lose my fucking job paid 12k for top surgery and another couple thousand for the physical therapy for my fucking t4 syndrome i got from binding for 12 hours a day 5 days a week bc my grad program sent me to intern in COW COUNTRY GET SHOT COUNTRY thinking I DIDN'T FUCKING PASS literally couldn't even write fanfiction without someone telling me i am MENTALLY ILL for being trans why do you have a problem with being mentally ill it's not a bad thing. all while they were FETISHIZING ME against my EXPRESS WISHES

in retrospect genuinely traumatic. therapist is like you have internalized transphobia. no shit.

"Whatever, he eats garbage." Nat says and we all make our way off the time machine. Tony builds the gauntlet with Rocket and Bruce, who is in Hulk's body now.

I take the suit off that we all wore. I have shorts and a top underneath so it was fine. I chucked it onto the couch and made my way to the balcony. It looks similar like the one in Stark Tower, here it's just squared. I lean against the railing and let the breeze blow against my face. The sun was setting and I watched it.

I needed peace, quiet, natural light, warmth and fresh air... everything had been so stressful since Thanos won. No one was the same anymore and it hurt seeing others like this but I myself couldn't change my attitude. Pain and grief were what I felt most of the time now. Regret and guilt are up there in the top 5 emotions too. I look around and see an advert. There is a picture of a family on it. The child is being held and hugged by it's parents. It's cute... I wonder what it feels like.. 'love'. Never got to experience it...being a part of a family was something I never knew of. Now I think I found my family, the Avengers, but not all of them were here...

I was interrupted in my thoughts by someone putting their hand on my shoulder. I didn't even bother looking. I stayed still and managed to figure out it was Loki. The way his hand gripped my shoulder, the weight he pushed down on me. It was him. I slowly rotate my head and look at him.

"You were quite deep in thought. I was saying your name multiple times." He says, giving me a soft smile. I return it.

"Yeah..sorry."

"Don't apologize. What were you thinking about..?" He asks, looking away and gazing out into the open as well.

"Just, stuff I guess..nothing important." I reply, looking back out at the sunset.

"Please stop blaming yourself-" Loki was cut off.

"I just feel like I could have done more...and if I would have done more maybe they would still be here right now.." I say, letting out a deep sigh. My eyelids drift together slowly and I lower my head.

"What you did was enough, you did good. Not everyone could have fought how hard you did.." he says, with a pause. "Don't worry, this is why we are doing all of this. We are getting them back.."

"But what if it doesn't work, what if they are really..gone forever.."

Loki doesn't reply. He knows he can't see what will happen. None of us can, we just hope for the best. Loki puts his arm around me and pulls me into his chest, his arms tightly wrapped around my back. I bury my face in his chest and let a few tears escape my eyes. We just stand there, the wind blowing into my hair making it look as if it were alive. I sniffle and he looks down at me surprised.

"You're so emotional.." Loki says softly, petting my head.

"Stop embarrassing me.. I'm not at the best point in my life right now. " I mutter. Never have I ever cried in front of anyone before. No wonder Loki was surprised, I always suppressed all my feelings and bottled them up. It all backfires eventually and you let it out in bad times.

"I'm sorry dear, it wasn't meant in a bad way. It's quite sweet actually." He says. I know he is smiling and I gently punch his shoulder. After a long hug, we let go of each other.

"Thank you.." I say, wiping my tears into my sleeve.

"No problem, my pleasure. I enjoy spending time with you and that sunset was beautiful." Loki says, looking at the sky again and then back at me.

I look down and blush a little.

"It doesn't beat you though." He says, chuckling.

"Oh stop it." I say, smiling and looking away.

"Why?"

"Because you don't mean it." I say, not looking at him. Of course, he doesn't mean it, he was just making fun of me again. Why would he mean it? I don't look beautiful, especially not since what happened. I haven't cared for myself in ages.

"What would make you think I don't mean it?" Loki says, his expression softening.

"Why would you mean it? It's not even tr-"

"Let's see, maybe because I'm not blind and I can see how beautiful you are. You have soft skin, glowing in the sunlight right now just like your hair. " Loki stops talking after interrupting me. I look at him confused, but his words warm my heart and make me blush. We just stare into each other for a while. I admire his eyes and I love watching them flicker from one of my eyes to the other.

I look down, feeling awkward because I don't know how to cope with compliments. They don't come often. I want to give him a hug but I think that would be too far, maybe? Maybe not. I don't know, we never got touchy like that. I take my hands and start fiddling with my fingers, not knowing what to do. I hear Loki chuckle slightly. Then suddenly something unexpected happens.

He takes his hand and softly places two fingers under my chin. I let him guide my eyes back to his.

"I think you are truly very beautiful.." he says, smiling softly at me.

I blush again.

"Thank you.." I reply, almost whispering. His hand moves up to my cheek and he cups it, rubbing his thumb up and down slowly. I smile and put my hand on top of his, holding it to my face. I close my eyes and lean into it, releasing all my negative thoughts and stress. I loved being around him. Probably not just that, I'm pretty sure that I loved him. I loved Loki. He was very kind, gentle and polite under the hard shell of coldness and mischief.

Loki takes a step closer, and my head is on the same level as his chest, he is very tall. I look up at him and without hesitation, I lean against his chest and give him a warm hug. He tenses up at first, but eventually relaxes into it and wraps his arms around me, rubbing my back. I press harder, not wanting this moment to end.

Loki holds my head against his chest and kisses the top while I listen to his heartbeat.

I was surprised when he did that, it made me look up.

"Loki?"

"Sorry I just couldn't resist, you were being so cute." He smiles, hoping I was okay with it.

"I like you.." I say, slowly looking straight into his eyes. "A lot. I like you a lot."

He stops smiling and just stares into my eyes. I see there are so many emotions within him but I can't figure out what they are or how he is feeling.

Loki doesn't say anything for a while which makes me regret saying what I just did.

"Sorry.. I uhm..I didn't want to ruin the friendship we have..I'm sorry, just forget it..." I say, letting go of the hug and backing up a little. Loki let his hands fall from around me to his sides while I awkwardly played with my fingers, avoiding eye contact at all costs. The silence continued.

"Loki, please say something.." I tell him, not being able to stand in silence.

He looks away in disbelief but then his eyes fix on mine. I give him a soft unsure look and I see his eyes got a little watery.

"Loki..?" I ask again.

"You're joking right..?" he finally replies after my many failed desperate attempts. I look up at him, confused.

"No..why would I be joking.?" I ask, just wanting this awkward never ending moment to end. I just wish I never mentioned this, I'v never been this embarrassed.

"Okay well then you're lying." he continues on, not looking at me. "Are you making fun of me?"

"What? No! Why do you think that? You're confusing me...Loki" I say, wanting to cry for some reason. Probably of all the mixed emotions I'm feeling right now.

"You like me..?" he asks, in disbelief.

I sigh and nod, looking down again. Loki looks like he is processing big news. I look at him and his face is loading.

"Why?" he then says.

"What do you mean why? I don't know I can't control it, I just do.." I reply again, feeling extremely uncomfortable in this situation, wrapping my arms around me as if I could hide in them.

"How?" he asks again. I look up, still confused. "How can you like me..?"

"Because... I don't know... you're likeable. I don't have the social skills to tell you.." I say, returning my gaze to him.

Loki's eyes are watery. "Please try and tell me why..I really want to know.." he says, basically pleading. I feel sorry for him. His expression is making me tear up but the confusion stays in my brain.

"You have a nice character. Not everyone sees it, but under your fake coldness you are sensitive and just want to make the people you care about proud and happy...I really like that about you. I don't think I can name anything I would change about you." I say, with a pause. "Okay maybe when you get angry you ignore me and everyone else so I wish you obviously wouldn't do that but I do that too so I can't say anything against that." I look back at him and I see tears running down his face. He is looking at me but I still can't tell what emotion lies within his soul.

"Oh my gosh..Loki what's wrong..?" I ask worriedly. I feel my eyes tear up even more. I've never seen him like this. He presses his lips together, I can see them turning white while he is trying to suppress his emotions.

"How could you ever like something like me..? I'm not even up on any of your levels..you can do so much better than this.." he says looking down, his hands gesturing to him.

"What do you mean? You are on the same level. Are you kidding? You're not a bad person. If you were, you wouldn't have been accepted by the team. They know you are not who you used to be. I've talked to them, they are glad Thor brought you along. I look up to you! Peter admires you as well! He thinks you're great. You've inspired Bruce and Tony to forgive people. I see how more and more tears run down his face, which makes me unable to hold mine back. I burst into a cry.

"Are you seriously crying because I am?" he says, beneath sniffles. I smile and cry at the same time. "After my speech, that's all you say..?" I ask him, wanting to know how he feels.

"Y/n I fucking love you. I've never felt anything like this. When Thor met Jane I just made fun of him for being weak and letting emotions get to him, but only now do I understand what it is. I don't know much here, but what I do know is that I love you, a lot. When you said that, earlier I couldn't believe it...I just don't think I am good enough for you.." Loki says, wiping his face.

"But I don't want anyone else..I want you. I love you..you are all I will ever want and need. " I say, my voice cracking and squeaky because of my crying.

I gasp for air and Loki just stands there. I look at him, and for the first time, I can see his emotions. It's admiration. He stares at me in awe. I smile but before I can say anything else Loki takes a step closer to me and puts his hand under my chin. I look up at him, seeing him smile. His smile made me so happy. It sparked so many emotions in my stomach.

Loki then cupped my face and leaned down. I closed my eyes and we stopped getting closer. Our lips were brushing against each other and I could feel his hot breath against mine. He wasn't sure whether I really wanted to do this and he definitely didn't want to do anything that would make me feel uncomfortable.

The sun already set by now and the room was completely dark. I sat up on the bed and waited to see if I could hear anything but the whole room was silent. I knew Loki had everything planned out so I decided to get up. I walked a few steps away from the bed, trying my best to see in the pitch-black dark but it was useless. I turned around but I felt hopeless.

"Loki..?" I said softly, hoping he would respond. He didn't. I asked again. "Loki, what are you doing..?".

A few moments passed and I suddenly felt hot breath next to my ear. I wanted to turn around to see if it was him, but the second I moved I felt his strong big hand wrap itself around my throat. I stayed in place and inhaled sharply when he pressed harder. I touched the hand with mine, trying to loosen his grip but he didn't. I just held onto his arm.

Suddenly I felt Loki press his body against mine from behind, keeping his hand tightly wrapped around my neck. I jumped in surprise.

"Loki, is that y-"

It seems that, when it comes to larger-scale issues---in this case, the operation of a club and distribution of drugs---he might still have a bad attitude, but he's at least reasonable. Just like in Forest Carnival; they were holding a party to help improve human/yokai relations, and though Kuya did act like a dick, he didn't sabotage things.

Current Kuya is a menace, but he really isn't a danger to the public; not like Past Kuya, who had no issues raising absolute HELL in Saia.

Which it is an interesting time in the rewatch to be making this point (this is too big to put in parentheses yet here I go- season three did Owen so dirty- I know they were going for the therapy angle but we went from Owen attacked someone because he is spiraling from finding out he has cancer and- which I know this is dicey because people on here love them some Billy Tyson- but he’s just such a cartoonish mustache twirling villain- like he only got the job because Owen turned it down and the first thing he does is close the 126? That punch was more justified than Owen just punches everyone he has a disagreement with).

But there is so much good in Owen and he sees so much good in other people; he sees someone who has never gotten approval from his father and whose job is telling him he screwed up big and tells him “no there should be more people in your profession like you, to hell with anyone who doesn’t agree your old man included” He finds the youngest member of his firehouse sleeping in the gym and says I have an extra room, it’s yours, you can live here forever and that would be fine - he looks the lone survivor of a tragedy in the eye and says you deserve to be here but if you don’t get a handle on the guilt you feel because you’re here and they aren’t well it will consume you alive, I know this better than anyone”

Which is another thing- Owen definitely has chronic hero syndrome but Owen has also been the sole survivor so many times in his life and he fucking hates that- he couldn’t save his brother and ended his parents marriage; there were 14 guys who didn’t get to go home to their families when he did. And when guilt and grief and shame tried to swallow him up he let those feelings win for a while but I refuse to believe that he missed TK’s entire childhood because then, TK wouldn’t have wanted to go to work with that person-

Which is to say, he isn’t a perfect parent but damn he is a good one- and one thing for sure he never made his son feel like he couldn’t be who he was (or that he was such a disappointment that forcing himself to be straight was the answer). But Owen loves his kid and they are so close that TK is as fiercely protective of his dad as his dad is of him, which I feel you really don’t see too much of especially between a grown father and son (the closest I can come up with is Stiles and his father from Teen Wolf - even though Stiles is technically a teenager)

I’m sorry that was so unhinged- but I’ve written a quarter million words on this topic for a reason lol

🐠- (not gonna rant about how it’s that Owen was not completely absent from TK’s life after he turned seven, not gonna do it)

But in light of where the rewatch is, I will say that I HC that Owen and TK talked about TK’s sobriety after the Sadie incident (I’m sorry, I have had so many people try to nicely explain this choice to me but I can’t accept this; there is no reason this should count as a relapse because it was not a choice. If the choice was made for you, then it’s not relapsing). Which I headcanon- I have to believe this because season 3 took every time TK should have talked with his dad and then purposely refused to show it (literally, a man fired a gun into an ambulance TK was in and we didn’t even get a hug from that) so I have to believe that TK and Owen talked about it. Because Owen has seen TK relapse before and could have pointed out, “you didn’t do this. This wasn’t your fault. If you need to be mad at someone then be mad at me, but I don’t want you blaming yourself for this”. And TK pointing out that if not for Owen, he would’ve taken the drugs from the ambulance after Gwyn’s death, so even if what happened with Sadie wasn’t his fault those two incidents make him feel like he lost something and needs to get his feet on solid ground.

❤️ - (this will sound so stupid; which so has the rest of this lol) but I love that you really see Carlos and TK’s relationship develop and change. Like they were so bad at communicating things to each other (that break up was on both sides, you can never convince me that was all TK’s fault) but season four might be my favorite season because things come up and they work through them together (like 98% of the time, granted) and this may be too broad of an answer but it’s what I came up with.

i don't hate the story they're telling through the flashbacks, i just hate how it's executed. i can see why they're doing it this way, so we're not actively suffering through the separation, it already happened. and the people want sam and dean together. but avoiding separating them has also made this really clunky and drag out by chopping it up and sprinkling it over so many episodes

anyway, resurrecting amelia's not-actually-dead husband certainly gives us all a guilt-free out of this whole fucking situation
