HI RYE. We're new moots, but I hope we can become closer and gush over fictional men together. I'm counting on you to help me build the TouAnki fandom here... jk. Unless?

[A] Affection He's a bit emotionally constipated, so you have to be patient with him on this. His show of affection starts a bit odd. He knows you're a tease and normally, he'd be so pissy about it. But with you, he becomes so lenient over it. You can tease him and he'll simply stare at you (rarely does this ever happen but he actually teases you back—NOT AN INSULT—but a proper playful jab). Eventually though, he'll begin showing his affection by spending most of his time around you. You don't have to be doing anything or talking about anything—just the two of you existing near each other.

He also likes pinching your cheeks whenever you get too "annoying." (hidden cuteness agression, he's just a big liar yk).

[E] Early Relationship He's gonna be closed off at first, so a lot of the heavy lifting will be done by you. But don't fret, he notices your efforts. Little by little, his walls will start to crumble. Rin especially likes how you're gentle with him—how you're especially patient with him. Early on in your relationship, you two frequented bookshops as a date. He'd often buy you books, but before he gives them to you—he would slip in a small piece of paper containing his thoughts on your date (how he had fun, how pretty you looked, stuff like that). It was his way of telling you his feelings without being too direct (because he would probably faint).

[F] Fights There are moments when your moods don't match and it leads to a disaster. Sometimes you feel extra sensitive and not so understanding of his bluntness. So, if you ever end up asking him for a favor or something along those lines and he happens to be in a bad mood as well—he might answer a bit harshly. Then... it just blows up from there. Tensions become high and emotions get carried away (he has a tendency to increase his volume if he's extra stressed). You're usually the one who says sorry first, but he's the one who puts in more effort to make it up to you (cuddles).

[J] Jealousy You're quite secure with him. No problem at all. Rin, however... let's just say... he's a bit territorial. He won't tell you how to act or how to dress. Of course not. He won't stop you from being you. Rin will only go after whoever or whatever it is that's trying to snake you away from him (not that you'd let that happen but yk). You might have to step in, or better yet, stop him completely. He has no restraint sometimes. Like... he can get so overstrung that the only thing that can calm him down is you.

You did mention liking another player in the Bllk program once and he gave you a dirty look...

[K] Kisses He discovers with you that he likes eskimo kisses (kisses on the tip of the nose). You asked him to lean down and he thought it was going to be a plain ol' kiss on the lips. His face when you went for a peck on his lil nose was priceless. It had him flustered more than a normal kiss. Now, he asks for that kind of kiss specifically. Also, he either goes in for a peck or a full-on make out session. There's no in between. Like, hey, we know what that tongue do—

[N] Nicknames He HATES petnames. He'd always call you by your name or a shortened version of it. But he realizes eventually that maybe he does need to call you something that only HE can call you. So he thinks of a silly name that fits... something like "Pouty" 'cuz of your chubby cheeks and because you pout at him all the time (because he's a meanie). It takes a while for it to sink in that it's also considered a petname, but let him live. At least it's not something corny as baby. But you call him that to annoy him. Then, he gets used to it. Now he's stuck with it lol.

[R] Rituals You're both relatively introverted. You like napping. He's always exhausted. Soooo you find yourselves in the middle of the afternoon taking a nap together. It's a ritual because whenever you're together and it's prime napping time (say, 2 o' clock), either one of you will drag the other to sleep because—again—it's "nap time". The other one fluffs up the pillows and the other lays the blanket. It's like almost funny how systematic y'all are when it comes to it.

[T] Time Apart If it's for a short period of time, then it's mostly you missing him. He's pretty independent and when he's absorbed in something—he can fend off the feelings of loneliness. HOWEVER, when it's taking forever (especially when he's whisked away to another country for a match), he will be the one missing you like crazy. He can only endure so much, y'know? His texts start sounding needier. And the once hater of phone calls will start asking you to FACETIME him??? He turns into a different person when he's been away from you for so long.

[X] XOXO His little love for you is memorizing all the boba flavors you like even if it's a complicated order. He can recite the whole thing perfectly, trust. He'll surprise you with it whenever he drops by your place. Of course, he makes sure to buy food to go with it to. He wasn't much of a boba lover at first, but you opened up his eyes to a new world.

I feel like we don't talk enough about the fact that Lance was top of his class as a cargo pilot. like everyone is so quick to demean Lance's intelligence because he's surrounded by the dictionary definition of geniuses in their own fields, but his line "fighter pilot, thanks to you washing out" to Keith means he was TOP RANK NUMBER ONE as a cargo pilot.

Lance is consistently infantilized and bullied for being a jack of all trades. his focus is spread, and even so he excels at what he sets his mind to. He, with little to no real gun or hand-to-hand combat training, becomes the team's designated sharpshooter. he also unlocks an altean broadsword , the only paladin to unlock multiple classes of weapons.

But he is the brunt of so many jokes because he's an empathetic, selfless, charismatic guy and a good friend BEFORE he's a genius. And honestly, i do believe whole heartedly that he is a genius, his focus is just so spread that he isn't a prodigy like his team members.

I love you Lance McClain.
