It really does describe him perfectly, utterly insufferable but he's too cute. I'm gonna write a little bit about all the shit Aegon gets up to and gets away with, and then of course also why he can get away with all that chaos.

This is mostly SFW but considering it's Aegon there's no way for this not to have implied sexual content, so I'll hide it behind a cut just to be safe. Enjoy lads!

Aegon's reputation preceded him by a country mile. You had heard all about the king, about his behaviour, his audacity, his taste for wine and just about every woman in the keep and that's just to name a few. You knew marrying him would be signing up for a lifetime of entertaining every whim of an absolutely little bastard with a crown on his head.

And well, you certainly werent wrong about all that. What completely shocks you though, is that you actually enjoy it? Sure there's a few awkward months of trying to figure him out, but once you realise how easy it is to make him absolutely DELIGHTED your relationship improves significantly.

And once he realises you may actually entertain his whims and listen to him? Well now you have a shadow. A shadow who demands your attention and will whine and pout and push things off tables until you finally meet his gaze and listen to whatever he wants. Most of the time he just wants to tell you something absolutely useless, but the entire kingdom will be brought to a standstill if you don't give him your full attention and listen to him telling you about the bird he just spotted on the windowsill.

No one really understands how on earth the two of you arent always at each other's throats, or at the very least how you arent just barely getting along. Aegon seems to worship the very ground you walk on, and then also seems to lay himself down flat on that very ground and scream until you sigh and go to him. Often he'll call you and just ask for a kiss. That's it. (He has interrupted multiple engagements and meetings because the king would like to kiss his queen and this is obviously the most important matter to attend to in all of the seven kingdoms.)

It's definitely worth noting that this isnt one sided either. Aegon will go out of his way to do whatever you want, even if most of the time you havent even told him you wanted it. You once commented on how pretty a certain flower was in the gardens when you were walking with him and for the next three months there was always a fresh bunch of those flowers on your bedside every time you came back from dinner. Every single time. He literally appointed a servant whose role was JUST to ensure the flowers are always perfect and replace them when needed.

Everyone keeps on waiting for the moment where you react to his requests with more than just an amused smile before entertaining whatever he's asked you about. But it never happens. You always just smile and go to him, kissing his head, holding his hand, rolling your eyes as he complains about a lord who is literally still in the same room as him.

All these ridiculous requests and high maintenance needs don't mean that he won't obey you, because he will. Your word is law to him, far more so than any deal or offer or responsibility he could ever have or receive. He will NEVER disobey you, ever. Which is something the entire castle is so relieved about. If anyone else tries to tell him no he won't take it laying down, but if you do? He'll just bat his eyelashes and demand a kiss as compensation.

This of course also means before long you have the entire small council seeking you out after every small council meeting to tell you all the things they need you to stop Aegon from doing and all the things they need you to make Aegon start doing. Aegon is well aware of this by the way, he knows they all scurry off to find you and you essentially get a debrief of the same meeting by just about every person who attends it.

Aegon never tells his small council that he knows all about their little trick, mostly because he'd much rather listen to you than them. Sure he heard their thoughts at the meeting, but he doesn't care about that! They arent his queen! So when you relay the same message he just smiles and nods and then just beams at you when you praise him and thank him for agreeing.

So yes, he's an utterly insufferable little bastard gremlin creature who follows you round, tugging at your dress and nipping at your ankles until you eventually agree to hear the same story you've already heard at least eight times. But... he's certainly cute, that can't be denied.

God, this was very quickly turning out to be a very bad decision. The movies made being on the run seem a lot easier than this. What they had failed to include was how easily it was to get ambushed by Spider-Society members while hopping between the dimensions looking for Miles. Your little group basically had to hop through a bunch of different dimensions within a week and look for him there, then leave before HQ managed to track you guys down. You’re not sure how much time has passed since you left. Maybe a few weeks. Maybe a few months. The passage of time was pretty weird when you were constantly hopping through the fabric of space and time. All you knew is that your eyes had naturally dulled out the neon orange light that shined from the portals you were constantly jumping through. Luckily, none of your team had been caught yet. There had been a few close calls, but only two of those led to severe injuries, one of them being Gwen, and the other time being you.

You and your team had been ambushed due to a malfunction with the portal opening. Each of you were put with your own variant to fight. Just to your luck, you were confronted by Jess. She looked awful to be honest. Stressed. She was probably put on finding you and your team while Miguel endlessly searched for Miles. This little wild goose chase had tired her out. Part of you felt bad. But that was very quickly overcome by the feeling of betrayal growing in your chest. You had a feeling she felt a similar way. “Please don’t make me do this. Just let me take you home,” she said weakly. Home. That’s right. That's basically what HQ had been to you before. You hadn’t been back to your Earth in five years, ever since Miguel caught you on the top of that building. Jessica was your first friend there. She had shown you the ropes to everything, been there for you during your lowest moments, and guided you to your highest ones. And now you had to repay her by sending her back to Miguel in a bloody pulp. You hated that this is how things had to go. But such was life for someone like you. “I have no home anymore,” you said at her monotonically before charging at her with your fists first. She’s quick to react, using one of her webs to swing away. It’s clear she doesn’t want to hurt you, each of her movements swift to defend herself, but never going on the offensive side. She could easily take you down if she wanted to. She had been doing this longer than you had and was more skilled than you too. She was going easy on you, desperately trying to show you she didn’t want to fight. But you didn’t care. You had put too much on the line to start to give up now.

The others had taken down their foes long before you had finished with Jess. You could see Gwen running up to you out of the corner of your eye, Ben tied up in a web behind her. You webbed her to the floor before she could get closer to the struggle you and Jess were currently in. You gave Gwen a quick, reassuring nod that she returned before running off to find the others. Once Gwen was out of sight, you quickly attached a web to Jess’ face, and pulled it down into your knee, knocking her glasses off her face and shattering on the floor. With her off her balance, you took the opportunity to try to knock her out. You slammed your fists into her face, one after the other, releasing all of the stress that had accumulated in your body over the past couple of months into her cheeks. You couldn’t see the damage you were doing, blinded by rage and betrayal and your fists blocking out her face. The only thing you could see was the blood splattering off of her face onto yours. You felt a voice in the back of your head begging you to stop. You desperately wanted to, but you had lost control of your body. Jess wasn’t the real person you wanted to hurt here, you already knew who that was. But she was the closest thing you could get to him right now. And if you were being honest with yourself, she wasn’t completely innocent to you either.

In her last desperate attempt to save herself, Jess shoved her forearm in the way of your balled up knuckles, grabbed a piece of shattered glass from her broken frames, and shoved it deep into your chest. Your reign of fury on her face suddenly stopped as pain quickly snapped through your body. You quickly fell to your knees, partially out of shock, and looked down to see the blood spilling out of your chest. As Jess dropped to her knees as well, you could finally get a gauge of the damage you’ve done. You couldn’t tell if the blood loss was making you see things, but her nose looked almost crooked, a dark cut slicing through the middle of it and blood pouring out of both nostrils. Both of her eyes were swollen, not entirely shut but on their way there. You looked down at your hands, the skin on your knuckles broken off and bleeding through the fabric of your suit, blending in with its natural red. They were trembling with a mixture of faded anger and new guilt. I never wanted to hurt her, you kept repeating to yourself in your head, as if it was going to make any difference. Maybe if you thought it hard enough, it would erase your actions. You suddenly flinched when you felt Jessica’s hand cupping your face. You looked up at her, mouth agape. Her soft thumb brushed your face as she stared lovingly at your face. So she did know. That made you feel a little less stupid when you broke down in front of her then and there. You just felt awful. Jess was your friend. Your best friend probably. And look at what you’ve done to her. You couldn’t understand how she managed to still be so soft with you, despite how much you’ve just mutilated her face. 

It was ever harder for you to understand how quickly she enveloped you as soon as she saw the tears begin to streak her face. You didn’t deserve this. You should run away. You need to run away. You’re currently bleeding out, and you’re just sitting here, sobbing into the crook of her neck. She’s probably just stalling for time and holding you here until help comes for her. But the longer you sat here the longer you realized…this was just her. It was only Jess here. No help was coming. Jess just wanted to hold you again one last time before letting you run away again. Once you pulled away from her, she wiped away your tears. “Don’t let me catch you,” she whispered into your ear. It was a reminder to you that while she was still holding onto her beliefs, that didn’t mean she ever stopped caring for you. She helped to push you up off of the ground, her hands now covered in your blood. You began to walk away out of  the dark alley to look for the others. Before leaving entirely, you turned around to look at Jess, still laying there. “I’ll find you once this is all over. So don’t you dare die on me, okay?” you shouted at her. She gave a simple nod in return, watching as you stumbled out of alley way. While you made the ultimate decision to let her live that day, you still had anger boiling up in your body. Somebody had to pay for all of this. All of this chaos that was about to unleash itself onto the multiverse. And you know exactly who did. And you didn’t intend to show him the same mercy you showed Jess. No. This was a job you intended to finish.

Thankfully, your chest laceration healed up quicker than expected, allowing you and your teammates to get back on track. Images of your encounter with Jess replayed through your mind for the next couple of weeks. The only other person you told about the details of your brutalization of Jess was Peter B., knowing he would understand with all the hard decisions he’s had to make himself. Gwen and Hobie had also noticed that you were acting a little bit off, but you avoided the subject every time they would bring it up. 

Suddenly though, it was happening. The moment you and your team had anticipated for the past couple of weeks. You were awoken by the bright glow of three orange portals opening up, three Spider-Men in each. Your team sprang awake and began to make a run for it. It was no use though, as one by one, each member of your team was separated by a different group of variants, until it was just you, Gwen, and Peter running. While you were running, you felt a hand yank at the hair on the back of your head. You quickly turned around and found Ben Reilly as the culprit. You didn’t hesitate to jump into the air and kick his face, pushing him off of you and onto the floor. As the three of you kept running, your attention was suddenly caught by something else. “Keep your hands off her! That one’s mine!” you heard the familiar voice call out to Ben. A chill went down your spine, as the three of you stopped dead in your tracks. You did it. You finally managed to lure the bat out of his cave. Before you could turn around and find the face that belonged to that deep, alluring voice, you were caught off guard as you felt a body dive into your stomach at full speed, knocking all of the air out of you lungs. The pure force of the dive pushed you and the figure into the brick wall of an abandoned building, crashing into the structure. 

Vision and hearing fuzzy from the impact, you heard Gwen scream out your name and begin to start running to you, before her and Peter B. get swept up by their own variants to take care of. Your head throbs in pain as you look around the building, feeling a huge weight on your chest. You look down at the rest of your body to find what’s weighing you down so much. And it’s him. Miguel’s massive body laying on top of you, his head dug into your stomach and arms wrapped around your waist from the dive. You were partially in shock. First of all, from the fact that your first interaction with him in months is him attempting to kill you (although it’d be a lie to say you weren’t thinking similar things). Second, you were still reeling from the blow. And third, the most shocking of all, was that this was arousing you in some way. Despite how much anger you were feeling towards him right now, you still managed to get butterflies in your stomach from how much of him was on top of you right now. He basically enveloped all of the lower half of your body. 

Shame and anger filled your body fast as you tried to push him off of you, any attempts in vain though due to how massive he was. He helped you though when he began to stand up, allowing you to get yourself up and dive through his legs as an escape. Just as you made your attempt to run out of the hole in the wall, away from a fight you know you couldn’t win, Miguel’s giant hand wrapped around your forearm. He pulled your body back to face him and slammed his massive fist into your face. Blood spurted out of your nose purely from the impact and you were nearly knocked onto the floor. You grabbed your nose in reaction and looked up at him towering over you, unable to make out his expression from his mask. “You must’ve been thinking about this encounter for a while. Have you been thinking about me, Miggy?” you quipped at him. Usually you spoke playfully with him whenever you were in a good mood with him, but this time it was your one desperate attempt to push down any feelings that would get in the way of you doing what needed to be done. “Don’t feel so flattered cariño. Whatever happens here isn’t personal,” he said in that deep, flirty tone you always found so sexy. But right now all it did was piss you off even more. “Keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better,” you said, dropping the slight smirk you had on your face. Taking action right away, you charged right at him, ready to do it right this time. You just wished he had his mask off so you could look him dead straight in his crimson eyes as you killed him.

dates come in two types: exciting and relaxing. it depends on what your mood and his mood is in, or your schedules. surprisingly he considers a lot of things while planning a date... sometimes. the other times, he's impulsively taking you somewhere in the middle of the day when there's nothing else to do.

the exciting dates are usually last-minute unplanned ones. what even are you guys gonna do today? more or less you end up in an arcade with a few games rinne (or you) has been dying to try, or a pachinko parlor with nothing but a couple of coins in your pocket for this kind of thing. maybe even shopping too...

don't worry, rinne has kept some coins so both of you can come home after this. or not. just hope he won't spend it accidentally...

more relaxed dates are 50/50: planned ones in advance, or it's just you two unexpectedly going on a date. a drive around town with the windows open, grabbing a drink at a nearby store and sipping away at conversation, or maybe lounging in bed while watching a movie and cuddled up together. it's the little things, really

he's an absolute sucker for affection. nothing too loud or flashy in public though (though he IS that kind of person), just the simple kiss on the back of your hand, on the lips, forehead, interlocking your hands together, hell, if he could, he's give you piggy back rides if you're feeling tired. he'll laugh at your flustered state though, but not in an insulting way. pickup lines are his forte too, expect one everytime he gives you any affection.

lives? oh he's always waiting for you. he's searching for you in the crowd, sending you a wink your way when he sees you. lord have mercy for all his fans around you, they might fall to their knees... maybe you're one of them too. your congratulations at the end of every live is worth it, so he gives it his all while having fun~

i'm not so sure about how his hometown may react to you, but if rinne chose you, then you must be good to him. so i think they'd allow it. hiiro is very supportive!

dates are very... fancy? all of them are planned out in advance with your input, don't mind the cost for a second here. of course if you prefer not-so fancy or non-grandiose dates, he'll take that into consideration. each date is almost perfect, suited to your tastes no matter how insane or simple they may be.

...but what about himeru's tastes, you ask? um... well... yeah, himeru would say it's to his tastes too but you can't be so sure right.... either way, he makes sure you know if you're uncomfortable, and he often checks up on you on how you're feeling. feeling ill/sick/tired? take a rest, himeru insists.

with affection, he keeps it on the low publicly. a simple kiss here and there, some words of affirmation and maybe a gentle pat on your shoulder. in private, it used to be exactly the same since he can't really show his feelings well (and probably wants to keep distance) but... soon enough, with a little bit of time... he gets closer. and a bit more affectionate. which means more lingering kisses

he gives it his absolute all during lives. like if he wasn't already then he absolutely is going so hard at lives. does the same thing with rinne, searching for you in the crowd and subtly sending a wink your way. at least like this, he can brush it off as fanservice on camera... but you know it's for you <3

rinne is ecstatic, probably telling you all about what himeru's doing during practices and when you arent around. that one time he smiled at the mention of your name, him stopping by a store he knew you liked on the way to practice... kohaku comments on that too. niki as well.

i guess you really have an effect on him, hm?

stopping by a sweet store for any of your dates is an absolute must. maybe it already came planned in kohaku's date plan, or it was completely impulsive. either way, your dates often end (or start) very sweetly with a good bite of his favorite sweet. he might even give you some of his, if he's feeling extra happy...

not a fan of sweets? that's fine. he'll just quickly buy some for himself

your dates vary, but kohaku always ensures they're safe from any sort of danger to you. he's fine with the thrill, not so much with horror-related attractions, but anything that could potentially hurt you in any way is an absolute no to him. it'll take a whole lot of convincing and proof that what you want to do is (at least somewhat) safe, if you want to go for a more dangerous/risky activity. (don't scare him though, please...)

affection... is a bit tricky on his end. he's fine with you being affectionate, a simple hug or pat on the shoulder is fine (not patting his head though... playing with his hair is OK) and he smiles ever so faintly from it. in public he might get flustered easily at even the idea of giving back that affection (except when he hugs you protectively when the situation calls for it)... but privately, he'll give it all back. a kiss on the cheek, a soft hug... but he prefers showing his love through helping you out more.

if his performance isn't already great, it seemed to get better after he knew you were going to watch? he also sends you a wink, which causes a massive stir around you. i think kohaku barely does fanservice, so imagine your favorite idol literally winking at /you/?! of course everyone goes insane. but that wink was just for you~ (not like you get way more affections back home...)

crazy:b was surprised at first knowing kohaku, the youngest of all three, was the first one out of the three to get a significant other. not himeru though (or at least not visibly.) expect rinne to tease the absolute shit out of both of you, good luck.... oh, and tsukasa? might be doubtful at first, but if his cousin wills it, he is very supportive!

...he might've grown soft at your presence...

dates? you already know where. that restaurant you've both been trying to dine. or maybe walking around town, trying out all the foods people are serving around in small shops. you could make a food blog from all the little things you both have tried (of course, he makes sure to avoid stores that could trigger any food allergies you may have)

or, let's say you both are on a very tight budget. that's fine— niki loves to cook anyway! it doesn't even have to be a date, he'd cook meals for the both of you and even teach you how to cook certain dishes. it doesn't matter if you're bad or good, he'll help out on parts you might stumble on~ and in turn, you can do the same. every meal is served with a plate of food straight from the pan, and each bite is as warm and comforting as him

speaking of warm and comforting, he likes giving hugs the most. whether it'd be from behind, facing each other, being hugged, or consoling you with a hand on your head and an arm wrapped around your waist, he loves it all. he also loves giving other forms of affection, like kisses all around your face and holding your hands. he is the same publicly and privately when it comes to affection, unless for any circumstance where he can't show you love.

Chapter 1

My eyes gravitate to his figure, taking in all his glory as he strides over to us with an unreadable expression on his face. "we are cooked.." i hear Izan say behind me, but ignore him, keeping my eyes on Homelander.

Homelander turns to the crowd, his back towards us "It's all right everyone, i got this under control you can go ahead and continue with your day" he raises his hands to calm the jittery crowd down, and they all begin to leave. He turns back to us and gives a charming smile that doesn't exactly seem to reach his eyes "Who might you all be? Are one of you a supe?" he sets his hands on his hips and patiently watches as my friends scramble to get up off the floor. "Uhh.. well we aren't.. from here?" I look back at the group and shrug.

They all look at me, expecting me to explain what just happened and I look back and forth between them and Homelander. "Right.. and whats that supposed to mean?" I laugh awkwardly and brace myself to explain in a way that won't make us look like crazy people "Well I know this is strange... but i think we just accidentaly traveled to your universe?" He makes a strange face and looks around, expecting this to be a prank. Izan steps up "Ok basically we come from a universe where your world is like a tv show and comic book series, so this is super trippy seeing YOU in real life" I nod and Homelander laughs "You really expect me to think you guys are from a different univers-" Izan cuts in "We know you were raised in a lab" i gasp and jab him in the stomach "Shut up!" Homelander looks at us in part bewilderment and part anger. "You- How the hell did you- No that's NOT true I am Homelander." he points his finger at us accusingly.

Behind him follows Madelyn stillwell, Ashley, and a few other employees of vought. "What's all this? You missed your 2 o'clock photoshoot" She demands him and crosses her arms, looking between us and him. "Apparently these folks are from another universe" He shoots us a fake smile and looks over at her. Madelyn furrows her brows and shakes her head in confusion "What..?" Francis steps in "Uhh we were at the mall hanging out, then i bent down to tie my shoe and BAM i fell through the floor and looked up and we were here" we all nod and agree with him "we are being completely serious, wait here i can prove we arent from here!" I pull my phone out of my bag and open up tiktok, immediately the first thing that shows up on my for you page is an edit of homelander, I face my screen towards them and unpause it for them to see.

Ian groans from behind me, already recognizing the audio and what video im showing and i shush him, after its done playing i turn off my phone and put it back in the bag. "So you guys believe us now? Some of those scenes are from the future" Madelyn's face drops and Homelander looks at us like we are aliens "Call the pr and management teams and you guys follow us" Madelyn speed walks back into the building, her assistants following close behind her taking down notes and calling. I look back to the group and smile, excited for whatever is about to happen and Sandra and Carla run up to me squealing "Holy shit we are actually in the boys universe!!" I giggle at how excited Sandra is and we follow Madelyn, with Homelander not too far behind us as well.

We follow her into a meeting room on some random floor i didn't quite catch and offers us to sit down. We all look at each other and slowly pull out a chair, with the exception of Izan who quickly takes a seat and pulls out his phone. I ignore him and look around, taking note of how dull everything looks, noticing homelander is staring at me. I tilt my head and he looks away, as if we weren't worth his time or attention.

I try to ignore the awkward silence until a group of people file in, rushing into their seats with papers and and writing utensils in their hands. Most of them are staring at us, the group of out of place looking young people, claiming to be from another universe. They all begin to discuss what they should do with us and whether or not to believe me, after around 20 minutes madelyn stands up and props her hand up onto her hip "Alright everyone i've decided they're staying here in vought tower. We should have enough penthouses up on the top floor, we'll figure that out though. In the meantime you guys can look around the city if you'd like" She points to us and we all get excited "Oh my god we are staying at VOUGHT tower" I hear sandra beam besides me and carla chimes in "In NEW YORK" they both squeal and the boys cheer, high fiving each other.

One of her assistants escort us out the building and hand us a card "This contains 500 dollars for you guys to spend today, you should be expecting more pay soon though since you guys will be working for vought once youre settled in!" I take the card and smile at her "yeah thanks, do you guys want our phone numbers in case we get lost?" she looks up in thought then nods, holding out her tablet for us to type in all our numbers. "You all have fun, i'd reccomend vought-a-burger if youre hungry!" she waves us a goodbye and scurries back to do her job.

"Alright someone whip out google and find something to do in the area" Jack and J-boss take out their phones and jack finds something "alright so apparently-" a woosh cuts him off and startles us all, we turn to see homelander, he gives us another of his signature fake smiles and walks up besides me. "I figured since you're all new to this universe and are going to be living in vought tower with me and the seven I should get to know you all!" he laughs unsettlingly and we all look at each other nervously "Thank you, Homelander" i reply. An awkward silence ensues and he begins to walk, then looks back at us as if saying to follow him.

ok lets get into the creator league stuff (local essay andy is back)

I mean first and foremost what Is the creator league

its an esports tournament ran by eFuse and presented by Mr Beast. its designed as this kind of interactive league allowing fans to play with and for their favourite creators. their trailers on instagram claim that theres gonna be a full years worth of content, however Mr Beasts recent video claims the event will happen across a 10 month time frame.

so the ting that makes this event 'special' is that the creators are not listed as players in the event but as 'team managers'- which is where the creator pass comes in. Each creator has a 'pass' that allows you as a fan and viewer to join their team and participate in the league events. Each pass costs around $20 and from what ive read I believe you can only sign up to participate on behalf of one player.

obviously for reasons of fairness, not everyone who buys a pass will be able to officially compete- there is a limited number of spaces on each team and the places are won via an open qualifier Fortnite tournament where they will also be competing for a $50 k prize- although im yet to find any comment from creator league or any articles on how this money is split. But don't worry even if you don't qualify youre still entitled to a free box of mr beasts chocolate should you buy a pass before September 9th. yey.

so what's the problem with this.

I mean first of all. creators arent even required to play. they can fully just let their team do all the work in every event which might work for people like Vinnie Hacker I guess. This might be a way to try and 'even the playing field' by not giving creators with gaming backgrounds any advantage, however it makes the marketing of 'playing with your favourite creator' a little meh. also as a viewer, id be more interested in watching an event that my creator was an active participant in than just watching my streamer watch other people play on their behalf.

the other huge thing that everyone is really waiting to hear about in this post is the nft situation. so recently the narrator of the creator league announcement video, brycent, conformed that the passes are nfts to be minted on the blockchain operating system Near Protocol. so obviously people are extremely concerned about this discovered involvement in NFTs and crypto currency.

so I went to investigate the website to see what its looks like when you purchase a creator pass and unsurprisingly there is no mention on nfts anywhere. The passes are sold on mynt.gg , which according to their faqs is a 'first of its kind marketplace looking to evaluate esports through community' just have a look actually

so no mention of the passes actually being nft purchase here's . if we go to the check out as well this is what we see for the descriptors

so . people who are purchasing this have no way of actually knowing they are purchasing an nft. you also need an account to add a pass to your basket and im not willing to make an account so im unaware if at any time during the payment process people are made aware of what they are purchasing. its listed and discussed more like a membership than anything, and in a way it is there are benefits to it, however with no information as to what people are actually buying its extremely sketchy and a literally misleading purchase perhaps a scam even . since the fact that they've just purchased an not isn't listed anywhere on mynt.gg prior to purchase. and after going through a few more articles .

so theyre definitely trying to hide it from you. as mentioned you need an account to purchase anything. and you only get to know what youre purchasing if you go through the TOC, which most people don't read lets be real.

it's worth noting as well creator league is the only collection available on mynt.gg at the minute, it seems like this entire business was started FOR creator league.

after reading through the faqs again I want to correct myself and say that yes you can buy more than one pass, but only for one creator. so this seems to me like a pay to win scheme.

im not going to go super in depth into this bit bc its a topic that has already been discussed in detail but obviously a lot of people are not happy with the inclusion of nfts because of their environmental impact, the secrecy and dedication to hiding this fact that the company is involving crypto in the event itself is a little weird if u ask me. oh yeah theres been reports on twitter too that they have been blocking and deleting replies to their posts that accuse them on using crypto.

so theyre lying to you as the viewer about what they are and what youre purchasing. but it seems like theyre lying to the creators too.

again. crypto and nfts is not mentioned anywhere at all. not in the trailer, not on the website not in any announcements . only discovered when people were paying for passes bc they wanted to support their fave creators.

recently one of the listed creators Connor CDawgVA released a twitter statement conforming that he was completely blindsided by the fact that there was cryptocurrency involved in the event- if u haven't seen his tweet here

so this raises the question were creators told about their involvement with Near, or was it written using jargon that people unfamiliar with crypto would not pick up on.

CEO of TAMU Esports Dylan Liu also weighed in on the creator league misleading their creators as well here's his statements too

this isn't everything Dylan has had to say hes done a lot of discussions with people on blockchains and of the event itself as someone who has known about the event for a while, id recommend checking out his twitter if you have time he goes into depth about how much funding theyre getting from near and way more issues with creator league than I have time to explore rn .

but it really does seem that the Creator League and eFuse have gone out of their way to try and hide the fact that they are using cryptocurrency from everyone possible. This is a marketing scheme to try and trick people into buying into their market- and if you google Near Protocol right now you see that they are declining so they actively need more people to buy into their schemes.

investors are leaving Near right now. Theyre tricking people into buying into their organisation. At least thats my understanding of it im not hugely knowledgeable about crypto.

this is super sketchy . as of right now CDawgVA is the only creator to have withdrawn from the event, but I hope a lot of creators follow suit. its unknown to us the details of their contracts but from what we know of the event they have done everything to hide the genuine content of creator pass purchases from the viewers- making a lot of people rightfully angry that the event is trying to pull the wool over fans eyes. hiding tweets and refusing to acknowledge their involvement in crypto programmes to the point where its unclear if people like Mr Beast and any of the participating creators are aware of it is super suspicious activity. Especially with how vague their promotions have been on the event, very little information has been available on their instagram and I think it was yesterday that we actually got some kind of timeline of the event. its supposed to start like next week and so many people are still so unsure of what is actually happening in the event or what prizes theyre actually getting if they participate. there has been no redeeming quality in the way that this event has been conceived and executed and I really do hope to see that the event is cancelled or that creators start to speak out against the way that the event is being run and support the fans who feel cheated and blindsided by the organisers . I will say I do not believe any of the creators willingly involved themselves in a cryptocurrency scheme, it's all just too sketchy . and no I did not proofread this nor can I be bothered to .

👸- I'm breaking my rule of not talking about them for a hot second. I know this is lengthy, but I have a lot to say about how they are trying to drum up media by using fans.

It just occured to me we, the fans whoever is left, were used again. They saw pur comments about not giving them attention and adjusted thier strategy.

We all saw the photos discusses for maybe 180 minutes and then moved on. We all know they gave us what we all said last tine was missing/odd down to her out of place (we assume cause no one could actually see the dress) outfit and ridiculous heels to a "loving" hand hold flashing the ring.

But we all went theres a picture of before a possible kiss and after a possible kiss. But somehow they missed the money shot which many of us saw as in they didnt or whatever. Then we moved on to other topics and Then 24 hours later we get a video with 2 kisses and the video of said walking out.

THE PICTURE AND VIDEO OF THE KISS WAS HELD DELIBERTLY.

They did this deliberately to make sure fans talk about them for longer. Otherwise the picture of the kiss would have been released with all the others.

They did this because fans said that they arent going to give them and the poop show attention so it can go away faster. So what do thier teams do? Split up the relases. Usually outlets would have both whoever the pics were sold too usually gers the video but regardless the video is usually released at the same time.

And robert patterson who isnt media shy with his significant other went out the back to try and leave privately while the couple that says they are private didn't find a private way to leave.

Not so much a confession as a funny story. Everyone has their way that they found out they were aspec. Long journeys of self discovery and questioning, etc, it can be very difficult to figure out that youre supposed to be feeling something that you arent feeling. But my realisation happened a little differently.

Some of my friends are... odd, and sexual topics came up very often. While I found the things they were saying uncomfortable, it was always fun to share my thoughts on whatever the topics were because it confused them like, alot. It was always fun to see their reactions to the things I was saying.

Its worth noting I was well aware of what aroace was and it was all very clear. I found out around the time when Jaiden came out, and my immediate reaction was what the fuck, thats Awesome. Thats the best sexuality by far. But I had just never connected the dots. I never really did.

Then in one of these discussions with my friends, I think one of my responses waas a little... too far out there. I dont remember the conversation, but I think the response eliminated the idea of "oh hes just innocent and doesnt expose himself to sexual content" and it immediately clicked for one of my friends.

He turned, looked me directly in the eyes, pointed, and said

"ACE."

And I quietly sat there for a moment considering what he said and very quickly realised, hold the fuck up, that would explain alot.

One of those, uhh... "friends" still didn't really get it. He had referred to me as "celibate" in the past, and I didnt know what it meant at the time, but after some time thinking and going back to them and saying yeah, I think youre right I do think Im aroace, he said it again, "Nk youre not its not real youre just a celibate." And I still didnt know what it meant at that point otherwise I couldve easily explained why he was wrong, but hes just so sex obsessed he cannot imagine someone who isnt. And I wasnt worried about the fact he was just not accepting it because noone gives a shit about anything he says. He says all kinds of racist, homophobic etc shit and people immediately tell him to dhut the fuck up. Hes less "friend" and more "we cant get rid of him so we just tell him to shut the fuck up and tell him why hes wrong". This bit has lost the point a little bit, the main focus is that instead of spending a long time figuring out for myself, I literally got told, loud and clear, out of nowhere, the obvious answer.

one of the things ive olayed around with though is kaseys main drive is to get better and to improve at her game and i think in her mind she equates being the best with climbing the ladder. and i have a plot beat in my mind where she gets offered her dream position (signing with The biggest team) and she has to have a lightning mcqueen moment of like. do i want to chase fame forever and try to keep going up at the expense of the people who got me this far? is this going to allow me to do what i love or is it not going to be fun anymore when my friends arent there? what happens if im not good enough? what if some day i dont want to do this anymore what happens then what do i have left?

that last bit is smth i really really want to explore with her specifically because a)the child athlete problem is very fascinating to me and i want to explore the broader problem of "an industry that destroys your body and steals your life from you while giving you very little in return" and i have an idea for how to do it (jaded old lady character who was a superstar back in her day and is kaseys favourite hero of all time who got injured and dropped off the face of the map) b)i think anyone who tries to turn passion into a career has to stare down the "what happens when i cant do this anymore" question and i think you can have a dialogue there with hutch that might have something worth saying (they were a wannabe rockstar and eventually gave it up to go have a life w aj and i think kasey would kind of be bummed out by this concept seeing it very much as a "you gave up on your dreams?" thing while they are completely content and fulfilled leaving it (and most creative aspects of their life - cooking ect) as a hobby and something they do to fill the life they have with joy as opposed to like. hm i guess what im trying to say is i think hutch is very content with being kind of mediocre but earnest forever and kasey is someone who wants to be better and better and better and is for the first time in her life hitting a wall where she cant seem to climb higher and everyone around her is just as good and she doesnt know how to cope with that exactly.

Little ways to do "it takes a village" things, if you're able to...

Offer for people to come over for dinner, or for you to bring dinner to share at their place. Especially if they arent doing well physically, emotionally or financially. If they don't feel like company, offer to leave some leftovers at the door.

If you know people are sick or having transport difficulties (low on fuel money, etc.) offer to drive them to where they need to go/offer to pick up groceries for them (the delivery services almost always get it wrong and generally charge extra)

Mental or physical illness, too many work hours, etc. can make mess build up fast at home and get overwhelming very quickly. Offer to help clean up if you can!

Lend and give people things! You're not going to be using your books and video games all the time, and nearly everyone is going to have food sitting somewhere they will never use (especially if you get food hampers) or old clothes they never wear.

Invite people to things in general! I always keep people's financial situations in mind and try to keep it low pressure. Picnics in the park, board games and video games at someone's house, etc.

Lots of places sell food hampers for cheaper than they're worth, but they often have too much food for a small household. Offering to half one with some others can reduce waste and cost.

Make people things for their birthdays! I like to crochet, others might like to draw or bake or grow them some flowers.

Offer to celebrate when there are small successes! Getting a new job or promotion, or things like completing a semester of university or a pet's birthday.

Offer to teach each other things! Can you crochet or knit? Bake? Fix things? Budget? Play an instrument? Teaching life skills for free could be a big impact in someone's life, and learning something fun they otherwise wouldn't have been able to afford to learn can be really cool too. YouTube is great but some people can't learn well from videos, and besides, it's more fun to learn with others.

Basically...

It's more convenient to work together. One bulk meal is cheaper and easier than two smaller ones. One grocery shop is easier than two. And the more you do this, the more others will want to do it back to you and to others (if they can). Giving your time and just showing that you see them and you see when they're struggling and you're happy for them when they're successful/happy could mean the world to someone.

Note: Lots of these things could be embarrassing to people. Sometimes it might be better not to offer unless it's brought up or unless you're already close. My suggestions on making this easier are to start with smaller things, like a birthday present or lending them a book. And when you're offering to do things like cooking for them, act like it's not a bother. Sunny, angry boy. Good combo in a hot summer day, its your aniversary and the both of you wanted to spend some quality time in the beach, but naturaly being the gorgeous person that you are. (You all are beautiful cause God created you ;) )

Its bound to happen that eyes might direct themselves on you, and already having a angry bird boyfriend named Marcus who already has some small anger issues and is one big of a jealous guy, it wont be easy to have a peaceful. Welp atleast you can say that you have the most overprotective and loving man by your side.

While he was arguing you just looked at him with a sigh... then you just gone up to him and took him by the arm and dragged him away, into the water and threw him in, he just looked at you... and sighned."Your right low life arent worth the trouble, let spend some time." He said as he began to slightly smile and look at you, you knew in a way he does have some issues with his emotions which is why you always drag him off to cool him off.

"Its fine :D, now lets get surfing board and have some fun" you sad and winked at him, to which he blushed.

Right before the both of you were going to run to the car to get your boards, you just ran to him kissed him, he blushed madly and you took the chance to steal his sunglasses, he just looked dumbly at you and you said "Catch if ya can" you said and winked and ran to your car, he just smirked and ran after you.

The people around saw the both of you and smiled, seeing how cute the both of you looked, even a eldery woman chuckled and said to her husband. "Honey, they look so much like us back in the day" she said, her husband just chuckled and smiled and agreed with his wife.

As you ran, Marcus has catched up to you and caught you and took you in his arms twirling you in the air, you just screamed at him to let you down and he just laughed at you. He then had the brilliant idea of carrying you to the car while everyone was watching, you just rolled your eyes and let him do it and as soon as the both of you have reached your car, he has let you down back on your feets.

You both took your boards off the car and then he said, "Last one in the water is rotten egg" and ran as fast as he could with the board you, being the stuborn you that you are and having just lost, you couldnt let it go any further and tried to win this time and by the mercy of the lord... you weirdly were able to outrun him. Welp a blessing you could say send by the lord Jesus ;).

Timeskip

After the both of you had your fun with the ocean, the both of you decided to just go back and buy some food to relax near your car."Today was a wonderful day :D" you said, Marcus just nodded back and you understood what he wanted to say, seems as if only mere motions can be understood, even after 3 years the love between you is just as pure as it was in the beginning❤️.

Now the both of you just spend time together, having fun and just loving the feeling of being together, the both of you have spend so much that the sun began to come down. While it was happening Marcus took you by your chin and ended the day with a kiss, and the both of you hope that another year will come where you will be able to spend the time together, til death do you apart.

ill be honest with you faiza. i truly dont want be negative but i dont think sungho will ever choose junseong. even if he says hes indecisive between him and seonwoo, he'll always choose seonwoo in the end as long as he keeps giving him any hope. and im not saying sungho doesnt like junseong, they clearly get along so well, even if nothing else happens their relationship as friends or something else makes my heart warm, anyone can see it, but he keeps saying that since he's never had a chance to be on a date with him he doesn't know but they've been together so many times... they were roommates too...

it breaks my heart because you can see that since the beginning junseong has never lied and has never jumped between people. his heart has always been in the same direction and he has never played with anyones feelings, truthfully he's i think the only person, or at least the one i respect the most in that house.

you can also see that he himself has no hopes either, he's like "i dont think he'll choose me but ill pursue him anyway because that's just how much i like and feel for him". there's also that scene where he cries and i know the trailer is edited in a way where the context for most scenes is all wrong but... to see him cry, i can tell it's not because of something good. i hate to see someone im rooting for going after someone that might never show any interest in them, it hurts a bit to see. (this is not me hating on sungho!! love that cutie but i just dont know...i know he's not trying to be hurtful on purpose its just how these things are)

i try to not get involved in dating shows because these things never go well but maybe its because im queer too and i feel different about a dating show dedicated to queer people. and maybe its also because i just feel for junseong and i just want him to be happy but im truly nervous about the next episodes... im sorry to just write so much about this to you but i started watching this because of you so you should feel responsible!

oh anon, i know what you mean. i truly do love junsung from the bottom of my heart. he's from one of the few people who have just. remained true and genuine. and its how much he likes sungho and how clear as day he is about it, but at the same time, never putting any stress or pressure on sungho. he's so selfless but will stand his ground and is determined and its everything you'd want.

and i get what u mean. theres this fear that all seunwoo has to do is give an inch and sungho will go to him. and that might happen. but, as of now, sungho said in ep 7 that he feels equally for them both. truth is it hurt seeing just how stressed sungho looked tbh. he doesnt want to hurt anyone with the decisions he makes and none of it comes from a place of malice.

but i also wanna say that sungho isnt naive. he isnt stupid. he clearly can read seunwoo and junsung and their body language so well. he observes it all. and he's starting to notice seunwoo for the people pleaser that he is. and at some point sungho's got to make that call of what it is he wants to go for, but he isnt stupid. so, yeah, i havent given up hope on 2sung just yet, not at all. we're only halfway through the show!

what we are all certain on is that junsung will keep fighting till the end for sungho's affection.

and i also feel like saying that, yeah, the phonecalls are a huge part of the show, but they arent the be all and end all. i know we're all, just like junsung, waiting for sungho to choose junsung and ring him, but there's so so much sungho has done and shown outside of that that shows his feelings towards junsung. and i think that matters just as much. the notes, the choosing junsung as his roommate again, all the little things in episode 7 between them, there is so much warmth and genuine affection sungho has towards junsung too. and that keeps junsung going, makes it worth it bc sungho is giving something back to him too.

of course, its sungho's call to make at the end of the day, but i wouldnt get disheartened just yet!

Yes! Couple things to add:

-Depending in where you are, store bought plants may have anti-sprouting stuff added to them. This will make it much harder to grow and usually gives you lower yields, so it may be worth the investment in garden store seeds for some.

-large potatoes can be cut into smaller pieces with 1-2 eyes each to get more bang for your buck, just be sure to give it a couple days to heal a bit before planting

-almanac.com has a ton of useful information, including growing guides for most common fruits and veggies

-learn your local pests and how to deter them. If its deer you may need to invest in fencing, or plant garlic around your garden, or maybe a bunch of different things. If its birds or squirrels or bugs, you may have to do something else. Pests are inevitable, but if you make it hard for them and notnas worth it, you can get more of your crop

-sunflowers are an amazing starter plant. They produce a ton of food (not just the seeds, but the leaves are eduble too i belive and the pith of the stalk can be dried and made into flour), are drought resistant, highly durable and can bounce back from heavy damage, and all in all if you take good care of it for its first month or two it can take care of itself pretty well after that, unless youre in a desert. Mammoth grey stripe is the variety I grew, its seeds are a bit smaller than most commercial ones (which i think is a different mammoth variety) amd harder to deshell, but it is deer resistant. Only things to note are they have deep roots (may want to till beforehand in clayish soil to loosen soil, but not really needed if you have several inches of loose topsoil, it can figure out its way down once its established) and they get rather top heavy, so may be best to get supports if its windy reguarly where you live.

- as op said, hardening is very important for many plants. For plants that tend to be weaker at young stages (ie peppers) you may need to start with only bringing them out on a cloudy day, or only 15 minutes on a sunny day. Be patient, it is worth it so it doesnt have to spend a lot of energy repairing sun damage before it fruits.

-mint can spread through roots very easily, so Id recommend setting your mint pot not directly on soil

-if you grow potatoes, you can cover the base of the plant in dirt once it gets big enough. This allows more room for the tubers to grow and not get exposed to the sun and go green (dont eat green potatoes!)

-if youre growing a plant for the tuber or leaves, learn how to recognize bolting (the plant starting to produce seeds or flowers). If it bolts, you will probably end up with less produce overall and it may be worse tasting or less nutritious

-white clover is edible (leaves and flowers and maybe stems) and very prolific in the Northeastern US

-its usually good to think about what plants you grow where amd how to synergize them. Classic example is the 3 sisters method, which can be extended although maybe not as effectively to other large leaved ground crawling plants (pumpkins, melons), other tall, sturdy plants (sunflowers) and other lightweight climbing plants, especially legumes (nitrogen fixers! Eg peas). In a pinch a row of sunflowers makes a passable trellis, as long as the fruits growing arent too heavy.

-one of the most common staple crops I see people grow is corn. Please be aware that corn is wind pollinated. So it is possible if there is a corn farm nearby that they may get annoyed if your corn is a different variety and pollinates theirs, and vice versa can happen. And plant a lot of it! Growing just a plant or two will lead to weak or no harvests, since theres just not as much pollen going around

-if youre growing something in a pot, you will need to from time to time repot it. Eventually it will become all root no soil, and the plant will not be able to produce anything. Try to repot before it gets totally root bound, but after the plant is established enough that repotting wont critically damage the roots. To do this, generally what i do is go outside, squeeze the side of the pot if its plastic to loosen the dirt (if not amd its too tight to get out, you may have to go in with a knife or something around the edge to get rid of any roots sticking to the pots edge), then turn the whole thing 90° or a bit more. Then gently pulling on the stem from the base with one hand, and tapping the bottom of the pot with the other, I remove the plant and inspect the roots. If it appears root bound, you can loosen the outer roots a bit. Then i put it in a new larger pot, making sure there is new soil to expand into on all sides. You will probably damage the roots at some point. Dont worry. As long as most of the root system is intact and its well established, it will recover the vast majority of the time. Dont have a larger pot? Cut off a part of the roots, not more than 1/3 of it, and you.can now put new soil where those roots once were.

-gardening is not a perfect science. You can do everything wrong and sometimes things will just work out. You can do everything right and might get a disease outbreak you cant control. Build a network if possible if you are relying on your garden, so you can share when you have surplus amd get from others when you need

-probably more as well, feel free to add anything! Gardening should be accessible to everyone, and the more tips and tricks are well known, the more people can benefit.

-i should probably state my qualifications, Im also pretty amateur, ive done two growing seasons in a zone 7 (you can look up your zone online with your zip code). But you learn a lot by doing, this is what i have learned, and im not going to say anything about growing alfalfa for example since ive never done that

Hey guys? As grocery prices go up and fresh food gets harder to get, knowing it will probably only get worse…

Potatoes are pretty easy to grow once they start turning green and sprouting. Just stick em somewhere they’ll get a lot of light about 2 weeks before you want to plant them for real and wait. After that bury them about 4 inches deep in a garden or container and they’ll be ready to harvest after the plants stop flowering.

You know how if you leave garlic alone for too long, it starts to sprout? Put that shit in some dirt with the sprout exposed, water it, and you’ve got yourself a garlic start.

You can grow peppers from seeds out of the ones you get at the supermarket. Peppers are decently easy. Start them indoors in a small pot, bury the seeds about an inch deep. Keep it next to a window or under a grow light for at least 10 hours a day and water it enough to keep the soil damp (~3x a week in summer, ~1x a week in winter). You should start them in winter or early spring so they’ll be nice and big and strong in time for the growing season. If you have the space to do so, move them outside after the danger of frost has passed. *with the caveat that they might or might not give you peppers in the first year.

Mint may not be a full meal but it’s a good addition to a salad or spring roll. It’s also ridiculously easy to grow. You kind of just get a store bought seedling and let it do its thing. Water it occasionally and be aware that it will die back over the winter, but mint is stupid easy. It can and will take over an entire space though, so maybe only plant it in a container.

Green onions can be sprouted from the white part with the roots. Just cut it about 2 inches away from the root, save the ends, stick the ends in a glass with some water, put that under light for a few days, then plant.

A short list of common edible plants you might be able to find (*with the caveat that most of my knowledge comes from only one region): lilacs (flowers), dandelions (leaves and flowers), lavender (flowers), peonies (flowers), basically any aggregate berry (shaped like a blackberry or raspberry).

With anything you want to start inside and later transplant outside, you should harden them off first. Hardening off is when you put the pots with the baby plants outside for longer and longer for a week or two leading up to when you’re transplanting. Start with leaving them outside for only a few hours at a time before you bring them back in and work your way up to leaving them out in their pots overnight before you plant them outside.

I’m a pretty amateur gardener and this is based on my experiences. Feel free to add your own if you know other tricks that might help someone.
