Building off of the whole metaphor idea, Morgana's character arc is basically that she starts to question her identity because she's having all of these dreams and thoughts that she doesn't understand. Then Gaius, who is straight up a conversion therapist, literally gaslights her and is like, 'no no, you're just going crazy, you're overreacting, here, why don't you take all of these drugs to suppress those thoughts?'

Meanwhile, Uther is saying all of this stuff about how sorcerers are all evil and should be killed, and Morgana will try to argue with him and he will just be like, 'well, why do you care so much?' And she's all, 'oh, no reason. I'm just an ally. I'm just really passionate about social justice.' Like, girl, we've all been there.

And then once Morgana does come to terms with her identity and she realises how fucked up the way that she was treated is, she goes batshit and starts a revolution and assassinates her dad. And good for her! I honestly think that all repressed lesbians deserve a little bit of murder, it's only fair, especially if they look so hot doing it.

Also, Morgana doesn't have any male love interests. I mean, she will sometimes flirt with men to manipulate them into doing what she wants, but it's very clear that that is what she is doing, she never actually cares about them or follows through.

Besides, Katie McGrath has never played a heterosexual in her life. She's basically straight up said that she played Morgana as a lesbian. You know where she said that? Here:

Are they technically half-sisters? Yes. But omg the sexual tension between these two is undeniable. You really do think that they're just going to kiss at any given moment. This has been straight up confirmed. This is a quote from the same conversation as earlier between the main producer and Katie McGrath, where they fully admit that there are definitely lesbian undertones there, and not only did both actresses play it that way, but it was written that way. So I rest my case.

Gwen knew about Morgana's prophetic visions from the start and she was never scared of it or tried to deny that it was magic. Instead, she was always by Morgana's bedside (or in her bed) so she could hold her face and stroke her hair and tell her she would be okay. Gayasses.

Although, as Iori Miyazawa can attest, yuri is often best found in the absence of it. Because once Morgana accepts her identity and her magic becomes an unavoidable part of of her life rather than thoughts she could repress, she begins to push Gwen away, often in the form of telling her not to undress her anymore.

Then this tension between them is emphasised when Morgana starts having nightmares of Gwen marrying Arthur and is really upset by it for some reason. I know that she justifies it by saying that she doesn't want Gwen to take her place as queen, but if you think about that for more than 5 seconds, it makes absolutely no sense. Arthur is still going to be king regardless of who he marries, so unless Morgana is planning to follow the legend a bit too closely and marry her brother, then Gwen is absolutely not taking her place.

And yet Morgana spends the entire rest of the show obsessing over Gwen, including: planting false evidence to break up Gwen and Arthur, using necroLancey as a puppet to seduce her, kidnapping Gwen only to tenderly caress her face and force her to have dinner with her, and then of course enchanting Gwen to kill Arthur so that Morgana can be queen, and Gwen will seemingly also still be queen. And they will be two queens, together, platonically. Hmmm

Felix volunteering as a Christmas elf in a mall or Christmas village and omg, him in his costume is so adorable and he's having so much fun in the way only a filthy rich trust fund kid can. There's a huge line of girls who just want to talk to him

okay but this is fantastic as someone who's worked as a santa's elf myself, i can picture this so well

because Felix makes it absolutely magical for the kids, always fully committed to the bit, treating them like absolute royalty and matching their excited energy to meet Santa. there's a line of girls for felix, yes, but there's also countless mothers who see this wonderful young man interacting with their kids and they suddenly feel like a teenager with a crush for the five minutes they get to interact with him.

there's a few different people who play santa throughout the week and Felix get to know them all. they're fond of his enthusiasm and he comes to love how many of them do this despite the low pay because it's worth it to make the children happy.

felix spending down time on a slow day sitting down like a little kid on the christmas set, listening to the santas tell stories about their favourite moments from the past few years since they'd started dressing as santa. he's so caught up in the magic of it all.

that being said, there's a few other elves that he works with and while they're all kind, not all of them can or want to match his energy. he also gets the nickname Buddy from the 2003 movie Elf, where Will Ferrell plays a human 'elf' who is much taller than all the actual elves. you get the idea. he also gets called this (at first jokingly) by quite a few of the people who come to meet Santa for the exact same reason. he's a very tall elf. i love him.

the other elves will always push felix towards the nervous or bratty children, as he's kind of magic at getting them settled.

while the other elves he works with quickly become immune to his nonsense and most of his charms, the one that sometimes catches people off guard is whenever he offers to hold babies of often frantic mothers, who usually have quite a few children to try and get settled in with Santa.

please im begging you, picture felix in an elf outfit, gently cradling and rocking a crying child, smiling so warmly down at the little baby in his arms, softly cooing 'it's alright, you're going to be such a perfect little angel for santa, aren't you?" and being so pleased when the baby stops crying and babbling at him. the mother is both surprised and relieved, and felix just shrugs like it's the easiest thing in the world, telling her it's no trouble at all.

however the minute someone mentions that he's going to be a good dad, he gets this panicked look that alarms his coworkers. they never bring that idea up again. (he's like 18 of course he panics lol)

felix being both flattered and horrified by his groupies, since most of them are teenage girls who try and flirt with him using christmas-themed pick up lines and he's never had to deal with being hit on at work before but It's Not Fun. yes the other elves find his predicament endlessly funny, but they do also cover for him without question when he gets too uncomfortable and needs to hide around the back of the set. they can, will, and have called security on his behalf and they will do it again.

it's for this reason that their team especially grows to be very close and quite good friends over the season. a lot of the older elves, or even just those who have been doing it a few years and may have some similar experiences (though usually not as frequent or as intense as felix's) become very protective over him. they get drinks together, and exchange little christmas gifts at the end of the season. felix is very excited to get all of his coworkers gifts, he picks them out all special and personalised on his day off. when he puts effort in, i genuinely believe felix could be a fantastic gift giver.... however i also believe he doesn't get invested often enough in the idea of given presents for that to be much of a known fact about him. in fact, i think his family believes he's terrible at giving gifts. anyways.

just...... christmas elf!felix being so enamoured by the magic of it all, even in the middle of a busy shopping mall. he so would be.

🔥 His body temperature is ALWAYS (and when I say always i mean ALWAYS) WARM. It dosn't matter if it's literally freezing outside, he will still be warm (imagine hugging him during a snowy day omg)!

🔥He started styling his hair that way since he was a kid because he wanted to look like his dad since he admired him so much (the same thing happened to Senjuro actually)

🔥 During Hashiras meetings he ALWAYS says some type of dad jokes to like relieve some of the tension yk

📢Uzui Tengen

📢 He asks his wives help to paint his nails and sometimes he also lets them pick the colors (Suma and Makio often end up fighting over wich color to pick lol)

📢 Him and Rengoku are best buddies so Uzui always tries to find Rengoku a wife or atleast a girlfriend! I feel like Tengen has at least once tried to convince Rengoku to go to the Entertainment District

📢 I feel like overdressing for casual occasions is his favourite pastime (he's so flamboyant)

🍡Mitsuri Kanroji

🍡 Pretty sure she will do eating comps with other Hashiras. I think that Uzui would be the first to challenge her saying something like "Despite your flamboyant look, Mitsuri, I'm sure I can beat you in an eating comp-" he never stood a chance. Like ever.

🍡 Aside from her bubbly personality, I feel like on the inside she's very insicure about her appearence. I feel like she would like to gain a bit of weight but it's just kind of impossible for her. She never talked to anyone about her insecurities.

🍡 I think she would LOVE to have a 'girl's night' with Shinobu. During the said 'girl's night' Mitsuri would enjoy cooking (especially eating what they cooked after ^^), doing make-up or skin care, talking about boys and other girly stuff like that!

🦋Shinobu Kocho

🦋 When she was younger she got bullied SO BADLY for her height, and that is the reason why she's always on the defensive when someone mentions her height, it dosn't matter if the person is doing it to make fun of her or not.

🦋 Her favourite butterfly breed is the Purole Emperor!!💜

🦋 I feel like whenever she gets a compliment from someone she gets SUPER flustered. I think she gets flustered easyly for some reason. She'll try to hide her blush with her hands or by looking towards another direction and say something like "Fufu you're going to make me blush silly!"

☁️Muichiro Tokito

☁️ Even if he tends to forget people's names easyly, i feel like he would remember the names of the ones who kind of gave him some type of lesson, like life lesson or smth.

☁️ I think he's not very close to none of the Hashiras and that is another reason why he tends to be more shy and stoic. I also think that he would actually enjoy spend time with someone kinda like him (if you get what I mean lol) like cloud gazing with someone or sharing toughts about whatever is around in that moment.

☁️ In my opinion, among of the Hashiras, Uzui and Rengoku are the ones he likes the least. The main reason is because of their loudness, like let's be honest, they're 100% the loudest ones of the group. Muichiro prefers to be around quiet people.

🐍Obanai Iguro

🐍 The reason why he loves Mitsuri is because she is the complete opposite of him. Like she's lively, bubbly, caring, cute and all that stuff while he's stubborn, grumpy, reserved, diffident etc.

🐍 I feel like his humour would be based in sarcasm. I also think that he would be the type to say "no" when somebody asks him to hand them something but then proceed to pass them what they asked for. And ofc dark humour. He will try his best though to not use that kind of humour when around Mitsuri!

🐍 His favourite places to stay while relaxing are high places like trees or roofs. He likes how people can't quite notice him when he's up there and he secretly kind of enjoys scaring other Hashiras sometimes lol!

🪨Gyomei Himejima

🪨 He is super sweet, kind and caring towards children. Like imagine this: Gyomei is peacefully walking on a village's path when two random kids bump into him. The two kids start frenetically apologizing when Gyomei crouches down before placing his large hands on the two kids' heads. "Don't worry, little ones, go ahead and continue playing" He says with a gentle smile on his face (OMG I JUST LOVE HIM LOL).

🪨 He enjoys helping other Hashiras out with everyday chores, like getting something from a shelf that is too high or other stuff like that! I think he's kind of a big brother figure to all of them.

🪨 For some reason I feel like he loves cats just as much as Mitsuri does! And that is why sometimes they hang out together and go in search for cats to feed and pet! ^^

🔪Sanemi Shinazugawara

🔪 Even if be tries to act tough, he deeply cares about other Hashiras. He sees them as family and since he lost most of his real family, he dosn't want to loose his second one.

🔪 He's not experienced AT ALL with women and that is why he gets SO flustered around them (just like his brother Genya i love them sm) but unlike Genya, he's great at hiding it. Also I feel like not many women could be attracted to him, not because he's not attractive as a man, but because of the kinda scary gaze he gives them when they approach him, he dosn't do that on porpouse though!

🔪 Just as he does for the Hashiras, he DEEPLY cares about his brother Genya and he feels kinda bad for everytime he didn't mention him to the other Hashiras or for whenever he avoided him (they deserve so much better ngl!)

🌊Giyuu Tomioka

🌊 He dosn't fully understand why the other Hashiras don't like him and that actualky hurts him. I feel like somtimes he just zones out thinking about why the others don't like him and stuff like that.

🌊 Sometimes he tries to start convos with other Hashiras but it always ends up being awkard ^^'. I also think that he tried to like hug someone atleast once but it all ended up being weird LOL. He probabily tried hugging Mitsuri, not because he is interest in her romantically or smth but because she's kind and sweet to everyone so she would have probabily agreed to hugging him! The only issue was that while he was awkwardly hugging her, Obanai appeared out of nowhere and started chasing Giyuu until nightime while Mitsuri was just standing there confused as hell.

🌊 Oppositely to Rengoku, i feel like his body would be perpetually cold, it would warm up though if he was near a fire or near something warm.

hihi ! your perception of atsumu is so in sync with mine omg 🤞🤞 anyway, i can imagine you and atsumu having a sort of princess x knight trope. it’s a relationship dynamic where atsumu showers you with princess treatment, going out of his way to make sure you’re always comfortable and get what you want. you’re extremely precious to him and he makes sure to show it through his actions 🙂‍↕️

Q1 — WHO FELL FIRST & WHO FELL HARDER

you fell first ! i can imagine you always silently admiring him from afar, watching him laugh with his teammates & interacting with friends. you’d always wanted to be a part of his inner circle but you were too shy 💔 i can imagine you attending every single game of his, and at some point he notices you and from then on shoots you an acknowledging wave whenever he sees you. you two don’t become fiends until a mutual friend steps in though : one of your close girl friends happens to be friends with the twins and after you tell her about your growing crush on the blond she makes it her mission to help you out. she introduces you two after a match and although you’re shy at first atsumu is everything bright; he shakes your hand with vigor and a sweet grin on his lips, telling you he’s noticed you before and he’s greatful for your support. that kind of made you feel like more of a fan than friend, but you soon get to spend more time with atsumu through your mutual friend and eventually you two become friends on your own 💘

atsumu fell harder. i can imagine him not even realizing it till samu and suna point out that he’s becoming a ‘simp’. apparently, according to his twin and teammate, atsumu has a habit of staring at you across the classroom, unlocking his phone simply to see your face in his wallpaper and switch it back off, bringing up your name for no reason in conversations…yeah he’s got it bad. at first he’s quick to deny it, but eventually he accepts his fate. he’d be a liar if he said he didn’t think about you more often than not or that he doesn’t get all that excited when he sees you after a long day. he has no idea what you did to bewitch him honestly, especially since he didn’t even care about you that much at first, but he definitely can’t say he hates it 🤞

Q2 — TOXIC THINGS THEY DO ?

refusing to take responsibility for his actions. i can very clearly imagine atsumu lying or straight up gaslighting you when you accuse him of something he 100% did. i feel like he hates confrontation and he’ll do anything to avoid taking blame or being the ‘bad guy’ in the situation. if he lies to you he’ll also keep up the lie until you catch him, if at all.

he also lies over the smallest things. i think he can get pretty anxious about you thinking he’s cheating so he’ll lie about small things like where he’s at. if he’s out with let’s say a female childhood friend, he might say he’s with sakusa instead 😭 it’s not like he had bad intentions, usually he’d tell you before going out but this time he forgot and he kinda just lied on the spot 😬 he’d rather tell a quick lie than have to go on explaining what he’s doing, why he’s there, etc. atsumu thinks that as long as he really isn’t cheating and his conscience is clear it’s no big deal. someone tell him it IS a big deal though cuz regardless of the context lying ain’t right ❌

Q3 — WHAT’S HAVING A FAMILY WITH THEM LIKE ?

ATSUMU IS DEFINITELY A GIRL DAD. 100% !! okay so at first he was going on about how he wants a little boy who he’ll teach how to play volleyball but at your gender reveal you sliced the cake to reveal color pink. he was excited to be a father nonetheless and though he wanted a boy at first you can’t even tell ?? he loves his baby girl SO MUCH. you definitely ban candy after 6pm while atsumu sneaks her some and tells her not tell her mommy 💘 i can 100% see him dressing up in tiaras and tutus to play tea time with her as well ☹️ it’s the cutest thing ever

at some point he gets you guys a family dog. it’s a labrador named snickerdoodle (named by your daughter who couldn’t stop giggling and repeating the word when she discovered it). when atsumu’s not working he spends his days at the park with your daughter and dog, tossing frisbees to them both and playing tag. whenever they come home they’re ALWAYS covered in sweat and mud, you have no idea how they always manage to get so dirty but oh well 😭. though who handles the cooking is irregular and more or less shared between you both, on weekend nights atsumu handles all the cooking. your daughter loves watching kids cooking shows and she often makes her dad watch along. on weekend nights the two insist on recreating some of the dishes they’ve seen together 💘 it’s so cute but the food is always a hit or miss; either tasting good or horrendously bad 💔 you always have to keep some takeout in the fridge just in case; you will NOT be getting a stomach ache for the sake of their antics 🤦‍♀️

Ooh actually a hard question, i dont "hate" any driver particularly if i dont like them i sort of just dont watch them you know? i know some people love to hate but im not really about that life haha

Its 50/50 - mclaren was always sort of "my" team because when watched f1 with my gran she cheered for lewis and jenson so mclaren always felt like the team to support but when i started to become a seb fan i hopped from red bull to ferrari to aston as he moved.

I have very hazy memories of jenson winning in 2009 but i was 4 years old so i didnt have any critical thinking skills to understand what that meant. i wasn't really "into" it until i a couple of years ago

its hard to say, id say the nostalgia of watching it as a kid plus the fact that the community has grown a lot more in the last 10 years plus a seriously improved attitude towards women as fans (i remember in primary school one of the boys used to make fun of me for liking a "boy" sport whenever i talked about f1 - this was only 10 years ago which is crazy)

How do you view new fans?

there is a noticeable difference between newer fans and older fans but i think its all about perspective. i mean i talk to my friend at work and he tells me about the races he watched in the 80s and 90s so of course to him im a new fan of f1 but when i talk to people who got into it in the last couple of years they see me as an older fan so i think its all about respecting the people who were fans before you and also welcoming the people who have become fans after you :)

If you could take over as team principal for any team, who would it be and why?

omg you are the sweetest!! i was just putting in some drafts for the week coming up and i seen this and was like I SURE DO. now my mom has more stories than i do. BUT one that i still have reoccuring dreams about to this dayyyyyyy and im in my 30s.. is the apartment we grew up in when we first moved out here with my mum [ my dad was there too at the time but not really so literally just my mum in this]. so heres the thing. me and my twin never discussed this with my mum and she never discussed it with us until a few years ago . so its like we all validated out own stories and it made sense to her why she kept having experiences in that place. so. when we first moved there me and my sister were super young.and to help paint a picture of the place there was an adjoining closet that connected both rooms. our bedroom and our mums bedroom. this had a wall seperating them but it was technically the same closet. the first night we spent there she told us she woke up to a man in the closet... with a fucked up neck if you get what im saying. i dont want tumblr to get me haha. she told him he wasnt welcome here and to leave [she is a nurse and she was used to seeing shit . especially working night shift so this really didnt make her flinch here] now cut to us dumb ass little girls in our bedroom .. i remember one day seeing a boy come to us. we invited him to play barbies with us. and we named him andrew. and we remember there was something wrong with his neck. even as we grew up and we stopped seeing him physically we sensed shit in that closet and also..there was weekly occurances of what we called 'the radio men' which really sounded like a muffled group of guys talking from the living room. like they were on the radio but really really low. needless to say we spent a good bit of nights in our mums bedroom growing up. i still have dreams either trying to get out of that place or get to it for some reason. and i actually live like a five minute walk from there and often wonder how the people who are there now are doing. i like to think that my grandparents keep me protected from whatever that was now. but it still is pretty strange that now in my 30s im still dreaming about that place. likei said though my mom has stories for DAYS. this is just one. also a super short one... this isnt a ghost story per say because hes not a ghost but we were always close to our grandparents.and at the time we were in middle school they lived in south carolina. we live in pennsylvania. so its a bit of a way. i remember we went to see my grandpa in the hospital about a month before he passed and on our birthday week [me my sister and my grandpa all shared the same bday within like 4 days. his wa son the 11th ours is on the 15th] he seemed GREAT for what he was going through and i see now its because we were there.when i say this man set a prescendence in how a man should treat anyone i mean it. i still hold what he says in me to this day. fr. dont accept any less. so back to the story we were TIGHT with him. ride or die . the day he passed away we had a volleyball game we had no idea he died. i remember looking over my shoulder and seeing him in the stands. i thought hmm.thats weird. hes in south carolina [and also had cancer ] my mum came and got us and when we got home she told us that he passed away. but clear as DAY. i remember seeing my poppop in those stands. the veils always been kinda thin on this end of things. i think i get it from my mom haha. but thats just some of them~ lemme know if you have any!

I have actually developed some of the cures now, and they're more based around groups of animals as opposed to specific animals (with one exception). We have:

- The lead cure: Cure Kindness (edited, settled on Cure Kindness. I actually prefer cure Kindness (other opts cure connect, or cure kind) for various *spoiler* reasons, even though it doesn't seem to fit in with the other cures). Her parents work at the zoo (one or both of them are still a vet, and they just moved back together because they had jobs that kept them away for a little while with conservation stuff etc), so she has spent a lot of time there and in other zoos already in her life. They're finally settling down in the hope she can come more out of her shell at school: she can talk to the animals all day, but she massively struggles with talking to people, especially new people, to the point of being entirely nv (The only person she knows or has said something to before moving to the new town is Cure Canter). The connection to animals helps ease her out of her shell, and she becomes more confident the longer she's been a cure (apparently, having to talk to people while you're saving them breaks the nerves a bit. Her parents are thrilled). Knows a lot about all sorts of animals for her age. While the team can each talk to animals to a certain extent, within their own specialities, Cure Kindness is able to understand universally on a level the others don't. Communication and understanding are a big part of this cures story

- Cure Chirp: the bird/flight/song themed cure. White, light, or yellow colours, with a bit of blue. Can glide as opposed to straight flying in the air, but considering how high cures can jump when they need to, that's more than enough. Very acrobatic in the air. Wind based powers. Good singer, but only casually. Talks when she's nervous. Carnival/feathers themed outfit. She is actually unhappy how 'dull and bland' her basic cure outfit is, and works up energy one time to generate a big, glittery, colourful, full la carnival fit, but as they're fighting, it is holding her back from protecting her friends, so she ends up shedding a lot to save them. She thinks the whole thing has been discarded, but is left with a colourful crest down the back of her head and neck. (Think cockatoo style)

- Cure Canter: Green horse girl cure! (Technically, she's the quadraped/land mammals cure). Her powers are speed, physical strength, and thunder based (or horse pun based). Her powers often summon spectral horse(s) or other creatures to ride into (or out of) the fight. Also uses these for containment and confusion. She is a RL horse girl too, and the only slightly older cure in the group. She struggles with school because she already sees herself working with horses when she's older. Competitive showjumper. Already knows lead cure and family from the zoo and past visits.

- Cure Splash, the aquatic cure. Plus sized cure, blue themed. Cure Splash is a diver, of both sorts (and a board diver competitively), Spends most of her time in the water. She helps her dad look after the local reefs. Does a lot of litter-picking, especially on the beach. Likes being a bit of a prankster sometimes. Friends with Cure Silky pre-season.

- Cure Silky: Purple + green & silver insect/reptiles themed cure. The smaller, usually maligned creatures. Goth-ish vibe, web and insect themed powers. Tall and stringy. Immaculate fashion sense, even as a cure. Silky by name, and silky by outfit (and movement)(think evening dress). A little bit haughty and mature even though she's the same age as the others. Seems sophisticated. Surprises the others at how chill she is with mucking it out with nature stuff. Vegan, has a lot of friction with her fisherman dad over his career, but otherwise not too pushy. Doesn't really like water, or swimming. Mismatched duo with Cure splash. Can walk/skate on water in her cure form. When she discovered this, they had all tried to dive into the water to escape the enemy. Silky had a 'oh, this is cool', moment before realising she was the only one still in danger, at which point Splash surfaces, and yanks her underwater.

The season: I had some more, practical thoughts on the season itself too.

- Making it a semi-sequel season to Healin' Good as "Healin' Better: All animals precure"

- Not a direct sequel in cure presence, but the animal the lead all animals cure encounters is actually a scout from the healing garden. They're trying to find a dangerous creature that stole away to Earth, but they got caught in the zoo. They're trying to find the creature (Bbeg) before heading back to the garden so that they can save face. But the Bbeg transforms some of the animals in the zoo, and attacks the humans, Lead cure transforms, manifesting something that the Healin' animal calls the Earth heart (which looks a lot like Latte's (is it Latte or Rate?) tiara. The Healing garden animal worries they've just stolen the gem.

- But during the fight, though the lead cure manages to save one of the animals by physically overcoming the magic with her bare hands, the Bbeg gets their hand on the gem and breaks it, the fragments flying across town.

- this also breaks their link back to the healing garden.

- Lead goes on a hunt for the fragments, firstly finding that she can still transform, but the powers are a lot weaker. Secondly, she finds that the other four have been found by others, who transform as the other cures. By defeating the enemies, they can slowly complete the fragments, reunite the Earth stone, and locate and return the Bbeg to the healing garden. (They tried reassembling the fragments, but it didn't work. Not that easy)

- Bbeg gets more angry at the precure, and steals the seed of the prism flower, cutting off all the other magical worlds, and nullifying the powers of the other cures. (All Animal cures have no idea of the impact of what the Bbeg just did, only that the enemy is more powerful now).

- They need to collect power to complete their own precure gem fragments, and to locate and retrieve the prism flower seed. as they're doing so, they (mainly lead cure) see an ethereal being that looks an awful lot like cure Earth, that comes and gives (nv) encouragement at difficult times. (Not actually Asumi, but spirit of Earth. Asumi does disappear during this, but reappears towards the end when prism flower restored and all animal cures have their own earth gems.

- doubt can cloud their earth gems and make them weaker. Uncertainty on pollution etc, and their ability to make a difference.

- Zoo theme = lots of learning about new and wonderful animals.

- Lots of the all animal cures doing normal things, and then there's screaming in the background and they're like -.- ... they're here again

- that one time they all get sucked into a picture book, and are collectively delighted because there's dinosaurs.

- Cure Splash's outfit has wellies, and a raincoat, and a little rain hat that's too small to keep off the rain but is a themed fascinator really. Her skirt is like an umbrella, and when she goes in the water that 'umbrella' stretches down her legs and becomes a mermaid tail for better movement.

- Cure Kindness's outfit kinda has ringmaster vibes, but with more heart decorations, and a big flower in her hair. (And no whip!!! We don't do animal cruelty here!) Slight tiger vibes, but very very slight.

- Quite late on, Bbeg realises that Cure Kindness has no magical attacks of her own, and deliberately catches the other four all animal cures, turning them into monsters. He thinks he's won, because Cure Kindness can't purify them, an no other cures have access to their powers anymore. She still tries to save them, but he is right, and she takes a big L. She has a down moment, but picks herself up, still fighting. She can't save them, but she won't give up on them either. She keeps fighting Bbeg, and eventually resorts to just clinging onto the bbeg like a limpet, until they're forced to retreat to escape her, weakening the magic and allowing the other four to finally break free.

- Cure Splash really does have a great sense of humour. During one of the all stars get togethers, she co-opts Hikaru to do a tongue in cheek rendition of the splash star intro (cures splash and star). She also jumps in puddles, and will often cheekily splash the others if they're being too uptight.

- One time the aquarium section of the zoo is due to host a display by dolphins/similar aquatic animal, but Splash is worried as the animals are ill/shaken by the actions of the Bbeg/don't want to perform, but they can't communicate that. With the help of the others she manages to convince the zoo not to put on the show with the animals, instead doing a diving display with herself and a few club-mates from the diving club. (Splash is perfectly capable of making as big or as little splash as she wants when she is diving.) The display is well received, very entertaining as well as educational.

PRECURE SEASON IDEA:

All Animals Precure, an animals & environment themed precure season.

Big bad is turning people into magical animal monsters because they're angry at how they're treating the natural world. The precures have to protect those people, and do a lot of work on changing people's behaviours. They also have to confront the bad guy about their attitude to correcting the bad things people are doing: wanting to protect the environment is good, but hurting people to do so is wrong. There is a balance, and a lot of things they can still do. There's hope.

(they kinda touched on this at the end of Healin' Good, and I'm surprised they haven't done a full season on it yet.)

But, all stars twist: the bad guy quickly realises their human animal monsters aren't strong enough, and after a couple of attempts to make them more monsterous doesn't work for defeating the precure, they find a magical device that allows them to transform magical creatures, and people. Bad guy starts being able to summon and transform previous precure, and each week, the All Animal crew have to defeat and save them. Each time they do, they get a gem, or some power towards finding the bad guy's base.

Could get through the whole cure roster this way. Just handwave the magic going in and out, straight to the monster form at the summon, and at the end, the cure or cures saved join the All Animal team for the ed each week.

Could use an interesting mix of cures from different seasons. Maybe Nagihono (or some of the older fairies) end up doing a call-in roll to help guide the All Animal cures through who's who when they're fighting.

Example:

The team are fighting a giant pink rabbit.

Nagisa, on the phone, hearing something by Honoka in the background: Wait, do they have a flower in their hair?

All Animal cure's lead: Yes! Yes, that's the one!

Nagisa: Oh.

Nagia: Well... the good news is: that's Cure Grace.

Nagisa: The bad news is...

(Giant pink rabbit monster flies across the background knocking the rest of the team into the next century)

Nagisa: ...that's Cure Grace.

Five minutes later:

All Animal cure lead, rather stressed and panicked and on the phone again: There's two of them!!!

Nagisa: two...?

All Animals cure lead: THERE'S ANOTHER RABBIT!!! TWO RABBITS! WHY ARE THERE TWO RABBITS?!!

Nagisa: ??? Two...?

Nagisa: ohhhh, that's Ichika.

Other bits/fun moments:

Which team has two red cures? ...they don't (unexpected team-up)

Yukari + Ellen stealthy big cat rumble (With bonus sparkle tiger)

Blue cure turns into a whale. On land. They think it's an easy fight but then it flops about to make an earthquake.

WHY ARE THERE DRAGONS?!!!

All Animals team tries to get ahead of the enemy. They think they see a flamingo monster, and are immediately like, AHA! That's cure flamingo! and all that, making a real meal of it, and then they turn around and Asuka's just standing there, unimpressed. They've just been harassing a regular flamingo.

Asumi, Tsubasa and Yuni immune.

That one time they just get harassed by a dozen butterflies. They're not dangerous, but just annoying, especially as they turned up while they were at school doing important things.

digesting early childhood trauma pt. 3

another facet of my childhood i often overlook is my parents. this one's a little long because there's a lot of tea about my dad and i haven't really thought about this before.

lets start with my dad - when i was younger we used to be much closer and we'd play games and have fun together, i used to sit inside a tote bag and he would swing it in the air from side to side and i would scream and laugh, i remember he'd spin me around in the pool and stuff. but every time i cried it would set him off. he would accuse me of "making a scene" and would yell me to stop crying.

i have always been absolutely 100% horrible at doing math so my dad would sit down in the dining room and do math homework with me. but i got wrong answers all the time and he was very impatient and would shout "No!" like the answer was so obvious and i was avoiding it on purpose or something. it made me feel even more insecure about math and every time i guessed my answer i would say it very timidly in fear of being yelled at. especially if i kept getting the answer wrong, i'm pretty sure he would just get up and walk away if not just scoff at me. i really feel like this experience made it really hard for me to even attempt to do my homework at home, so i got used to doing it all at school if not in my bedroom, and at this point i pretty much do all of my homework in my room.

my dad is also very opinionated and stubborn, so as i grew up and entered teenhood, him and i butted heads a lot and got into arguments and even screaming matches at times. i remember one time, not sure how old i was but imma guess i was maybe 11 or 12? i also don't remember what led up to it but all i remember is being in the living room with my dad and he was all up in my face yelling at me, and i decided to put my foot down and yell back, at which point he threatened to throw my phone in the garbage so i stopped.

then when i was about 16 or so we only got into more arguments as our political views drifted farther apart (he's a republican im pretty sure? thankfully not a trumpie though). one time a family friend made a facebook post making fun of emotional support animals on flights where a guy pulled up with sort of like a rolling bar of alcohol and was like "this is my emotional support bar" or some shit. so i commented and was like "wtf is this ableist shit" and then she was like "omg how dare you swear at me on my own facebook post i'm contacting your father right now" so i was like oh great. soon enough my dad storms in and yells at me about how you can forge a doctor's note to allow an ESA on the flight and how people bring peacocks and pigs on the flight and how that one girl flushed her hamster down the toilet at the airport or something and was overall just trying to say that emotional support animals are just a euphemism for pets you want to bring with you everywhere. and at that point i knew that there's no arguing with my dad so i just sat there quietly until he started repeating his points so i said "you said that already" and then he mimicked me and said it back to me and then stormed out.

he also used to say a ton of fucked up shit to us at dinner like how he believed transgender people were no different than transracial people or whatever and that black people in hoodies should realize they're suspicious and that he as a musician reserves the right to refuse to perform at gay weddings because watching them kiss makes him uncomfortable or whatever his stupid reason was. also after one of my friends died by suicide he tried reassuring me by saying she was going to die that way regardless. so him spouting all this stupid stuff really deeply strained our relationship but i never said that outright because i figured he was dying on those hills.

at one point i told my therapist about how i'm not close with my dad and don't even care about that and she scheduled a session to mediate between my dad and i. basically it was good in that she allowed us to take turns talking without interrupting each other but the whole point was to be closer and do more things together after the session but that quickly fell through.

so because of all this my dad and i are really not close at all, in fact his perception of me seems to be from when i was 13, even though i'm 22 now. like he thinks that my autism is like a personality trait to me and that my only interest/skill is with technology. and while he now also knows i'm a poet because my parents attended my publication party, that's still virtually all he knows about me and i'm honestly happy with that. i don't really feel like he deserves to really know me after how he treated me growing up.

that being said my dad has changed a lot since and while he still has a lot of bigoted and far-right opinions on shit he's much more considerate especially since i came out as trans (even though he sent me a letter back saying he basically rejected that idea but would call me a nickname of my birthname instead of my birthname). i think he understands that i'm an adult now so i'm going to disagree with him and he's just going to have to accept that.

i also will mention that because he struggled with money growing up, he financially supports me to the point that i haven't worked more than a month in my life. i have an allowance of $60/week and it's livable for me because i don't ask for much, i'm not materialistic really at all, and anything school or food-related is reimbursed, generally speaking. i am privileged to live like that but the con is that i have an extremely poor work ethic and i have a hard time understanding the true worth of money when it's given to me for free. it's hard to even want to break the cycle and get a job knowing i get the equivalent of a paycheck from doing nothing. it makes me feel ill-adapted to the responsibilities of adulthood and it seems like my parents didn't expect that. i know they just want me to not have to worry about having enough money but i honestly wish they gave me less.

• heather duke is aromantic and yes its because she wears green, have you seen her socks in the off broadway musical? /hj

• more seriously, she IS aromantic but it took some time for her to figure out. she is allo but she doesn't label her sexuality, and she was always confused and frustrated to experience sexual attraction but never romantic attraction; she had a hard time accepting this part of herself.

• post heathers: maybe she discovers about non binary identities and asks her girlfriends to test out they/them pronouns on her? idk? aro-agender duke?

• she also struggles with empathy as she is naturally apathic

• and she's putting this image of a cold mean girl because she believes she can only be that given she's aro and ND

• post musical: she had no idea mcnamara actually tried to commit suic*de and when veronica tells her she breaks down in tears and spend a few days writing an apology letter to mcnamara

• post musical: mcnamara helps her to develop her compassion, knowing it's not her fault she's incapable of empathy. she didn't have to forgive her, but they did, and it really motivates duke to become a better person and be as nice as her

• post musical: she sees a doctor! she eventually recovers from her bulimia. veronica and mac are 100% supportive of her recovery, and very proud

• she gets bigger as part of her recovery and learns to embrace it

Heather McNamara

• they use she/they pronouns!! just because. she still identifies as a girl though

• mac is autistic of course, it's like semi canon in the musical

• since she's very tall (movie) she stims while standing like being on the tip of her toes or rocking back and forth and the others can be quite annoyed because she moves a lot but they never snap at her

• post musical: veronica finds her stimming endearing and they know it's safe to stim around her, especially since veronica stims herself

• post musical: mac hums as a stim too and you can often find macnamawyer snuggling on the floor while humming in harmonies together

• she used to mask a LOT and it played a big part in her depression. she knows they had to stop themselves from stimming when she was a heather, she had been the weird kid in middle school but now that chandler took her under her wing, she has to pretend to be NT in order to stay in the lifeboat (😭)

• she's a lesbian!! of course she is

• she knows it since she is in middle school and has been """gal pals"""" with chandler since them but she still struggles with it she has comphet yk, but still less than chandler

• mac themselves is not a cinnamon roll just yet and she still has to make up for what they've done to others

• mcnamara has nicknames like mcNcheese or macaroni (veronica came up with those)

• they're also a vegetarian and she loves yellow food

• like she ever only eats yellow food actually (autistic thing). that girl is deficient! part of why she looks that fragile and thin

• also i see mcnamara as mixed race with golden/light brown skin and they have this type of curly curly hair but she straightens it all the time so it's only just wavy (once again, to blend in with the heathers)

• her natural hair colour is actually a dark strawberry blonde? her dad is irish and he's a redhead that's why (stole this from @cam-eats-candles hehe) but she dyes it so it's lighter

• post musical: she starts wearing her natural hair!! and goes with her mom to the afro hairdresser to start to get her curls done right (cornrows mac!!)

• their parents divorced (movie) and it's for the best. mac has daddy issues and only goes to her dad to get cute jewellery for their girlfriends 💖 (he doesn't just sell engagement rings. a lot of regular expensive rings, really)

• she's not a baby, she's not weak nor completely innocent and pure!! the girl is a head cheerleader, she's strong and flexible as hell.

Heather Chandler

• heather chandler is Also a lesbian BUT she is on the ace spectrum like demisexual? so yeah she's double disgusted when she "sleeps" with men

• as a queen bee she's also convinced that the only way to exist is through male validation :(

• chandler is taller than duke and veronica but shorter than mac

• chandler's skin is like rosy and it freckles very easily. i see her with the same cloudylike hair she has in the movie, dark blonde, with the red scrunchie only holding back some of her hair

• she is Buff and is genuinely into sports (lesbian jock like regina george)

• she has a sharp hourglass shape her shoulders are broad and her legs long and strong. she could lift veronica against a wall easily. and she did

Veronica Sawyer

• ADHD!! she's been diagnosed for a while but only became medicated post musical

• bisexual!! so bisexual!! without a preference. she's always been open and proud about it and her parents are supportive

• for me veronica is brown, with thick and dark hair and dark brown eyes, midsize, average height

Martha Dunnstock

• that's canon i know, but she's fat, and not the socially acceptable-hourglass kind of fat. big arms! big tummy! double chin! (i see fanart of her just being chubby quite often and it's ANNOYING like that's a big part of her character)

• she's perfectly healthy like this as are many fat people :))

• i also like the hc that her attempt at sewer slide made her permanently disabled and that she keeps using a wheelchair! because it happens, it's important to show it, and it gives me a lot of ideas for cute kindergarten girlfriends prompts 💓💓

🐱: omg icesis and apollo... you know those memes about cat dads who don't want a cat but end up being cat dads? that's icesis with apollo. these two are inseparable and pythia complains how he's more icesis' cat then theirs. apollo will often just plops on icesis shoulders when she's working at the sewing machine and just vibe with her, he will watch telenovelas (icesis' guilty pleasure) with her when pythia is away

Meta: 2.0’s Misogyny and Views on Gender Roles/Sociology

⚠️ TW: child abuse, domestic abuse ⚠️

So the specific instance I think of is during the Reaper arc, when the kids are breaking in to save Irina. And they first come face to face with him, and have to engage in combat. He takes them down effortlessly, we all know.

But...there’s a moment in which he purposely hits Kayano especially hard with his knee, and believes he has broken her ribs. He callously remarks, “Females are so fragile.”

Let’s break this down:

A. Kayano is literally the smallest girl/student. She is very petite, and everyone knows this. It's obvious even when she's wearing their uniform.

B. He knocked down everyone so easily, but seemed to take a particular joy in brutalizing her. A petite girl.

C. Given that he's been watching the class, he must've known that she was actually stronger than she seemed. But again, I question this particular violence and the comment afterwards.

For a while, I thought maybe he had just said that to be cruel for no reason. To rile them up and be an asshole. I mean, it would be fitting, right?

No. I came to the eventual conclusion that this man is a misogynist, for sure. And there are indicators that Koro, his only role model, might bear some resentment towards women himself.

There's also proof in the way that he treated Irina, even when they were "allies." He seemed to really disrespect her and look at her like a joke, despite her accomplishments as an assassin. And whatever worth he did believe her to have, he only thought it came from her sexuality.

Like...why else was Irina dressed down to only lingerie in the arc? Because it was part of his plan, and he looked down on her and her profession.

Expanding the context a bit, it really also does prove how he looked down on women. He had Irina appear half-dressed, upset, and completely weak before she tricked everyone. The embodiment of female fragility, and how sexuality is tied into that. I hope this is making sense omg

Now, moving onto his past~

I really recommend you read this awesome meta by @akamayumura (sorry for the tag!!) They delved into his childhood and psychological state very well, in my opinion.

We can infer that 2.0 grew up in a terrible household, and that is an equal contribute to his behavior, as well as the possibility of him having an anti-social disorder. I mean, he was so happy to see his father get killed in front of him...

Not only that, but he literally romanticized the killer. In that moment, he didn't experience grief, but gained a rose-tinted view of death. He literally begged Koro to go with him and grow into someone like that.

Clearly, there was some psychological reason for this. But that isn't unordinary for abused children to feel, having such a disconnect. He didn't view it as his father being murdered, but rather: a person he hated finally leaving his life.

And then he gained loyalty for the person who was responsible -> The Reaper.

I cannot find it for the life of me, but there is apparently a moment in canon where 2.0 describes his father as "tyrannical."

And you know what?

Usually in a household with an abusive tyrannical father, there is a weak, complacent mother.

This is so interesting that we're on this topic now, because I just read a book detailed all about this. It's called "Men Who Hate Women, and the Women Who Love Them" by Susan Forward. Please read it omg, it's so good and informative on how misogyny is engrained in childhood, relationships, etc.

But yeah!

This exact dynamic is a formula for men who grow up to be misogynistic because their first example of a woman in their lives is their mother, who is the victim in an abusive dynamic.

Here are some pictures from the book to help explain.

^ 2.0’s hatred towards his father

^THIS.

Either 2.0 grew up having to provide emotional labor for his mother, or there was none at all between them. Overall though, there is a sense of resentment and abandonment given that the father was so dominating, and his mother was a victim too.

Men who lived in households like this, often grow up into believing that women are to be controlled, because this is the example they had to go by for so long.

On top of that, there's a layer of resentment and distrust towards women because his own mother didn't stand up for herself and protect him. Why would another woman do so?

But to sum it up:

2.0 believes women are weak, fragile, easily controlled, and cannot be trusted at all.

There's evidence in his attack on Kayano, and the way he treated Irina.

Ahem, also notice how he seemed to act more professional around Karasuma, and took him much more seriously. Like yeah, Karasuma is more serious, but why on Earth would one of the best assassins in the world regard a government agent over another top-notch assassin?

If Irina were a male assassin, I definitely think the treatment and attitude would be different honestly.

ALSO.

2.0 loves flowers, we know! But there's another reason why he possibly used a flower shop guy as his cover.

To easily manipulate women, the target customers of flowers.

Hmmmmmm.

Anyways, yeah, we can deduce that his misogyny was born from his childhood of having an abusive father and seeing his mother as a victim.

Not to mention, that he spent most of his life with Koro, who definitely didn't treat him to respect women lmao.

I actually feel like Koro has his own personal resentment towards women/femininity...but before I make a post about that, I'll have to do more research.

Anyways, we all knew 2.0 had dad issues, but there are a lot of mommy issues on top of that.

This isn't me trying to cancel him or anything btw! He's still one of my favorite characters, I love him. I just find this characteristic of his to be pretty interesting and worth diving into. (Although I will admit, that Kayano rib scene upsets me a bit.)

Hey talk to me about your top three favourite kdrama women. What makes them special? What's a fic you would like to write about any one of them?

Mystery anon! :D What a lovely ask. 

I’m going to cheat a bit and divide my answer into characters I loved a lot, but do not want to write fic about, because I think the canon gives me what I need; and characters that I loved a lot but NEED TO BE RESCUED ZOMG.  (My fic writing impulses are 50% spite and 50% fix-it )

Caveat being that I’ve still watched only maybe a dozen kdramas, so I’m pretty limited in my knowledge!

Characters that I love a lot, but have very zero fic impulses toward:

Han Yeo-jin from Stranger/Secret Forest: What a delight! What an iconique character! Is there anyone like her? NO. LSY-nim gives us a delightfully complex character, and Bae Doona knocks it out of the park in every single scene, so I’m just happy to be along for the ride. I think what makes Yeo-jin special for me is the intrinsic place of empathy that she operates from.  I think “righteous” is a word that often comes with negative connotations (self-righteous, for eg), but I do think she’s one of the most righteous-in-the-good-way characters I’ve watched in kdrama or any drama. I’m tired of stories that portray goodness as “boring” , as unworthy of narrative breadth or depth, and I love that Han Yeo-jin comes to us like a breath of fresh air in our particular dystopian narratives hellscape. She’s good, but never naive. She’s righteous but never cruel in her moral certainties.  I think that LSY nim, in the second season especially, gave Yeo-jin the kind of arc that character deserved when she’s forced to really dig deep into herself to figure out how she’s going to live in the world in the face of a deeply cutting, deeply personal disillusionment, and I’m really hoping for an S3 to see how that plays out further. 

Goo Hae-ryung from Rookie Historian: Ok, I will admit this may be rose tinted glasses view due to this show being my gateway drug into kdrama, but c’mon! She’s a reader! and a Thinker! And loves her wine! She’s plucky! She’s cute! She’s got a wry sense of humour! She’s got principles! She’s got a solid common sense to her that somehow doesn’t get in the way of her dreaming BIG! Oh dear, doesn’t she sound like the Mary-est of Mary Sues? Good for her.gif,  I say! Anyways, Shin Se-kyung is unutterably charming in this (AS IN EVERY SHOW OMG GIRL) and I just have a huge fondness for free-spirited heroines who get to tramp through the narrative changing the world as they do! 

Lee Ji-an from My Ahjussi: I’ve never had my heart broken more OR restored by any single character. IU is *phenomenal * in this, I think she really stepped up to what the script demanded from her. Ji-an’s weariness, her fear and vulnerability, her prickliness, her anger and her bitterness, and how, despite everything, she fights : GOD. Just. Again, what I love about the writing in this show is that it’s deeply empathetic without being cloyingly sentimental. I think a less, hmm, imaginative writer/PD might have focused on the Lee Ji-an the victim, and while the show definitely tells you in no uncertain terms that she is one,  of both circumstances and a cruel society, I think it refuses to take away her agency over her own life.(Lee Ji-an when we meet her is too busy hanging onto life by tooth and claw to indulge in self-pity, but we also see the toll it takes on her not to be able to say “this is too heavy a burden for me to carry myself and it isn’t my fault”; the show I think approaches Dong-hoon from the opposite side- his emotional isolation is partly a result of his own choices, but he doesn’t see it yet, and so his journey is also about letting people in and sharing the burden, but also recovering his own agency over his life. It’s an interestingly gender-bent arc, which is one of the things I love about this show. )

Ok, can I please add one more?

Hwang Han-joo from Melo is my Nature: She just felt SO real to me. She’s someone who doesn’t have the spectacular brilliance of either Jin-joo or Eun-jung, and struggles with accepting her limitations but not allowing herself to be defeated by them? I love her struggles as a mother, as a working woman in a sexist industry, a woman who’s perhaps having to rethink and reimagine what she wants from romance. I love that she’s a little silly, a lot kind, and an optimist, and just. I just think she’s the bravest of the three, tbh, and I LOVE HER AND I WOULD WATCH A SPIN OFF ABOUT JUST HER (i shouldn’t have faves among the three i know, BUT I DO, IT’S HER, IT’S HER.)

Ok! On to the next section! And I’m going to cheat again because I can’t stop at three. SORRY. NOT SORRY. 

Characters I love and SHOULD write fic for if I weren’t such a tired and lazy bunny:  

Song Sa-hui from Rookie Historian: Oh, girl, girl, GIRL. I love how she fights to snatch her freedom from the jaws of the patriarchy. I love that she unapologetically centers herself while doing that, because she knows that nobody else will.  I love that she’s prickly and calculating. I love that she’s smart and knowledgeable. I am SO HAPPY that she got to carve out a little bit of freedom for herself, even if it also is exile to some degree. She *should * be Emperor Jin’s Prime Minister and steering the ship of state, while also carrying on a tumultous affair with Queen Min Woo-hee, while ALSO commiserating with Emperor Jin about his boyfriend Historian Min Woo-won’s regrettable tendency towards Principles (TM) and masochism-but-not-in-the-fun-way. (This takes up much of his time which is why Song Sa-hui is running the country, of course. It works out well for all concerned, well, except her dad, of course.)

Song Ga-gyeong from Search:WWW: What’s NOT to love about our brilliant, beautiful, emotionally tortured gay icon? Nothing, absolutely nothing. I loved how the show allowed her to be flawed and make bad decisions, and then allowed her to make better decisions and regain control of her life. What I do need to do, of course, is see the CANON LOVE STORY between her and Cha Hyeon through to the end. It must, of course, include at least one baseball game, a lot of tequila and messy beach kisses. 

Oh Ji-hwa from Beyond Evil: Oh boy, this year’s runaway hit cleared the extremely low bar for standard crime/ thriller shows by leaving more than one of its female characters breathing and with all limbs intact, and got called feminist for it BUT it didn’t do justice to any of them in any meaningful way and that never hurt more than in the way they sidelined Kim Shin-rok’s talent by not giving Oh Ji-hwa anything much to do. She’s a tough as nails cop, a loving sister, a devoted but unsentimental friend-and by rights SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE HEROINE OF THIS SHOW. My secret fic fantasy is to rewrite the show entirely by making her , and the two other female characters in non-antagonist roles- Yoo Jae-yi and Im Sun-nyeo- as the central characters, as they investigate a serial killer who targets women.  It’s the only acceptable version of this done-to-death (ha!) genre, I have no idea what the Baeksang jury and tumblr fandom is smoking when they hype the show so much, I want none of it. 

Jung Sun-ah from The Devil Judge: I love her rage, her spite, her passionate defense of women, her style, her sexiness, her rage, her rage, her brilliance, her tenaciousness, her smartness, her clothes, her refusal to hate herself for everything she is and chooses to be, her ambition, her comfort wielding power, her EVERYTHING. Dead, her? NOT IF I HAVE ANYTHING TO SAY ABOUT IT. Here’s what *really * happened at the end of canon- she gets out of the building by planting that lady-like but still deadly gun against Kang Yo-han’s temple and making him lead her through his own “secret escape route” or whatever the fuck it was the show wanted us to believe. From there on out, it’s all sunshine and beaches, and scheming and waiting for the right moment to strike again-though of course, this time around, she also has to reckon with vigilant, tenacious cop Soo-hyun -another character who REALLY didn’t die for manpain reasons and had the good sense to leave her gay best friend to follow his psychopath boyfriend to Switzerland or wherever it is that star crossed lovers in kdrama land meet up on the regs these days- anyways, Soo-hyun and her are in this catch-me-if-you-can epic transnational honest and cute cop-and-beautiful sexy villain chase and yes, they WILL kiss (and more) AND IT WILL BE GLORIOUS.

You being pregnant would have been a complete accident and as soon as he found out he’d be pissed, or at least for a few days.

After a while though I think he’d just leave, there’d really be no point in him staying. The kid wouldn’t be taken care of by him and it would only get in the way of his time with you

He’d be an absentee father

Whether this man would be better or worse is kind of hard to say

Since he was raised by actual parents I think he’d have a better understanding of a fatherly figures role at least, though his family is a group of assassins so it might not be very good looking to an outside force

He’d obviously train this child to be an assassin 

While he’d see to the child’s needs he’d most definitely be confused about the lack of independence and the way you gave into it so easily 

I think he’d want a boy more than a girl due to some possible misogynistic views from his upbringing, that and it’d be the best way to keep the family line going

It’s likely he’d end up having more children with you since he’d want to keep the Zoldycks at large (if that’s how you’d say it idk)

He’d be an abusive father, e en if the kid didn’t realize it

Chrollo

Okay, this is progressively getting more difficult :)))

Chrollo grew up as an orphan, so unless he’d for some reason read up on children at some point in his life (which I both can and can’t see him doing) then he’d have no clue where to even start

Especially when the child got older (might be getting a little personal but my dad has this issue, hence why we don’t speak often even though we live in the same house)

He’d see the kid as a hinderance at first, mostly because now he had to worry about mafia stuff and people coming after him possibly targeting not only you now but the child as well

He’d handle situations such as bullying or mental issues rather well, telling the child to stick up for themselves 

I don’t think the kid would grow up violent or anything, maybe with some rebellious tendencies but that would only fuel their relationship with Chrollo

Of course Chrollo would mostly want to just spend time with you and the spiders, but he’d understand that you had a child now, and your time with him would be limited even more

He’d be an absent father, just not physically

After a while I think he’d calm down a little but once the baby bump started coming in I’d expect some comments if I’m being honest

If you for some reason stay with this man after having the baby, it wouldn’t be good

Phinks is quite temperamental and I think he’d have his own tantrums quite often

One minute he may be having a great time with the kid, talking and what not but within the next the kid might say something off or out of line and all of a sudden Phinks has exploded and may or may not lay hands on the child

Of course this is upsetting for you but your relationship with him might deteriorate as well, meaning he might start getting physical with you if he hadn’t already

I genuinely don’t have much to say on this one because I really just don’t know how to word it

I get the vibe that it’d be similar to Hisoka in the sense that it was completely an accident and he’d end up just leaving due to the fact that it’d be almost pointless to stay anyway

I don’t wanna say he’d be the best of the six, but I think he’d do better

The news might shock him at first and he might panic a little, maybe even leave for a while before coming back during your labor

Though I think his relationship with the kid might actually be relatively okay

Similar to Chrollo he’d want the kid to be rebellious and independent, and if the kid likes games they would get along rather well

I highly doubt there’d be any issues with abuse but there may be some emotional neglect in the picture, whether purposely or accidental it’d not sure I can say
