It's not like I don't like people who are serious about their writing, it's more like having unrealistic expectations and standards pushed on me to fit into your narrative that I didn't ask for. I've been bullied and shamed and lied to in rp communities before. And I'm just like... over that kind of stuff. I just come here to write my little stories with my little online friends and that's as much as it is gonna be. Yannow?

FLUFF, ANGST, OR SMUT?: I love more serious things like angst. But I also like a bit of soft too. I like writing smut, but sometimes it takes me awhile to work up to it because like.... I don't wanna embarrass myself? lmao

PLOTS OR MEMES?: I like both! Memes are easier to just wash your hands of. But also they're great starters and ways to get to know each other more often than not! I'm honestly terrible at plotting cause I'm such a people pleaser. But- I'm more than happy to talk things out with others and see where it goes.

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES?: Both are fine I have no preference. Although I must say I have a tendency to ramble and multi-para even without meaning to. Cicero's got a lot going on in his head specifically and if I don't write it all out I feel like you're missing out on the experience, ya dig? So like... I LIKE writing both. But do I typically write one liners? Absolutely not.

fluff, angst, or smut : I get so BORED with fluff so FAST idk what that says about me but probably nothing good. So ANGST and if its done WELL I do love me a good smut thread ;)

plots or memes : Uhmmm either tbh. I dont usually do the ask to thread thing, I like ask for one shots OR ask trains. I also love plotting threads Like the one I have with @bunnyblooded for the rewrite the stars verse, and honestly all of my threads with @multi-royalty With Madison in the fire starter verse.

long or short replies : A lot of my particular writing style has a lot of internals and thought processes so even my short ones tend to be long.. which honestly gets overwhelming quickly when I have a million threads, so Im slower on replies... but I don't mind single para or even one liner chats sometimes! Those just don't tend to be long term threads.

time to write : Jesus its so sporadic. Honestly my biggest issue with writing is just doing it. Once I open the draft and start typing the reply comes out no issue, I dont even have to think it practically writes itself... but its the getting there that gets me. Every time.

are you like your muses : I am most like Katherine tbh (and Nova but that's cheating shes practically a self insert from my book) And because Im a lot like Katherine IRL I am also a lot like Elena, since they share almost all the same traits- good and bad. I can be like Lexi sometimes and Rebekah too. I am a social chameleon so really it depends on the people and situation im in, but I am most like Katherine. it’s honestly a little discouraging to see an admin allow a member to say that they won’t reply to starters that are more than one line, especially in a roleplay that has made it a point to have no pre-plotting and every background detail must be exposed through paras. not to be rude, but you might want to reevaluate the idea of the rp because one liner starters and replies and writing all background detail through para are two ideas that just don’t click.

i personally didn't read the conversation in the server as that way — just as a personal preference that sometimes long para threads right from the start can get overwhelming !!  especially when you are still trying to figure out your muse's chemistry with another muse, i can understand that being faced with a multi-paragraph starter can be daunting. i also think that the term "one-liner" is a bit of a misnomer in this situation. that was my point when i said that i would prefer starters to not be just one line of dialogue like “one liners” of older rps past, but to include other sentences to help inform the plot and setting ( eg. 2-3 sentences, 75-150 word ballparks ). it's also important to note, that a "one-liner" starters often grow into a thread that has longer replies after momentum has been found between the two characters !!

in the end, i'm focused on making this rp as relaxed as possible — and that includes being open to reply lengths that are both "short" and longer para-style as writers find their stride. as i mentioned in the conversation, this is not promoted as a literate rp and i do not expect members to engage in long multi-para threads if they do not want to and especially not when they are just starting to feel out relationship with other muses. i also want to be clear in that i did not intend for the conversation to come across like i don't want long threads on the dash either. i'm happy to see members engaged in whatever manner they are comfortable with, and to see muses connecting as such.

lastly, i think it's important to note that you don't necessarily have to reveal every facet of your muse's background within your first few threads or to get everything out there ASAP. but reveal it when it becomes necessary, relevant or a benefit to the theme of the thread — not just to reveal things for the sake of revealing things. people are complex and different things come to light in different situations.

Buckle up, because I have a lot to say about this! I had to figure most of this out on my own, so I tried to be as thorough as possible. Feel free to skip over things you already know!

So you want to join Tumblr RP?

Hey, welcome!

The Tumblr RP community can seem hellaciously complicated, but it's really not. Sure, there are a few basics that most people expect, but after that, there are tons of people out there to talk to and interact with! Some are friendly and open, and some are more reserved and restricted. That being said, here's some basic terms and styles you'll run into!

"Muse" is just another word people use to refer to their characters. They can be an "OC" or original character, or a "Canon" character from a TV or book series you enjoy. They can even be "Canon Divergent," where you don't follow or even change canon events in your writing, or "Genderbent," where you play them as a different gender.

"Mun" refers to the person behind the muse. When you speak "OOC," out of character, people will know you're talking and not the muse.

"Multimuse" is a blog where people have more than one muse to choose from.

"Multiship" is a blog where the muses can have more than one (usually romantic) relationship with various other characters. These all happen independently of other relationships, each in their own separate little universe. Speaking of-

"Multiverse" is when a muse can have various things happening in a RP, but it doesn't effect at all any other RP they have with different partners.

A "Thread" is the ongoing RP. Whatever you're reblogging and responding to, that is the thread.

There's different writing styles, too!

"One-liners" are very short responses to a thread, usually one or two sentences long. This is especially good for "crack" threads, which are more comedic, random, meaningless threads for fun.

"Single Para" is when the response is usually about a paragraph or so long.

"Multi Para" is multiple paragraphs in a response.

"Novella." Gods save the novella writers, for it is an amazing skill. They usually write a few thousand words into their responses. If you like writing a ton of stuff, like you're writing a book, this one is for you.

Then, there's selectivity!

"Nonselective" writers are more open to a bunch of different partners. They don't have a strict criteria for who they want to write with. That being said, they do refuse to write with people from time to time if it's not working, which is okay.

"Semi-selective" people have a few more criteria they're looking for when they RP with someone, but they're still fairly open.

"Selective" and "Highly Selective" people have several criteria they want met when writing. What exactly can vary from person to person, but they're generally more choosy than others. Disclaimer: you might hear them called cliquey, elitist, and snobby. That's not true. Sure, some people are, but most are just looking for a writing style they can work with more easily, or they don't have a lot of time and want to spend it with people they know they'll enjoy writing with. Maybe they had bad experiences and want to protect themselves. It can be any number of things.

"Mutuals Only" or "Private" blogs want you to be following them, and them to be following you.

One more thing:

"Indie" blogs are blogs with muses that have no fandom. OCs are usually found here.

"Group RP" are RPs in a set universe, usually with characters premade that you can choose from. These groups usually RP within the group only.

"Crossovers" are when you want to mix fandoms. Want to take Superman and stick him in Gravity Falls or with The Doctor? You want a crossover!

Okay, now that that's out of the way, let's really get started.

First Things First

First, you need a blog. I know, I know, it sounds obvious, but it's important to have your RP on a separate blog from your normal one. If you want to post memes or politics and discourse all day, by all means, go for it. Some people are just here to RP and get away from the world for awhile, though, and don't want to see those things. The solution, then, is to have two blogs.

You can make a sideblog to your main one and RP there. Just let people know you'll follow them from your main blog, if that's what you want to do. Or, you can have a totally separate main blog. It's up to you.

Now, some people say you need a big, fancy blog theme to go with it. I'm going to go on record to say you don't necessarily. I use Tumblr Default, and it never held me back. That being said, if you want to have a fun, creative theme, there's plenty to choose from! Just do a quick Google search and find what's right for you! Make sure, though, you can make at least 2 separate pages on it, and give credit to the one who took the time to make it. I also recommend it have text that contrasts with the background and is large enough to read, just so people don't have to squint.

At this point, it might not hurt to think about tags. What will you tag your normal RPs? The memes you reblog? Your OOC posts? What organizing tags will you use to make sure people can find things easily?

Next, you need a "Rules" page and an "About" page!

Your Rules are what you expect from a RP partner. You can describe yourself a bit and explain things here. For example, say violence is a topic you want to avoid in an RP; you can note things like that here. Let's say your muse is a villain, and you refuse to make them kind because it's out of character for them; let people know. You can also mention how selective you are, how much time it might take for you to get to threads, how best to contact you, and so on. If you want to plot a thread out or just jump in, let people know. This is where you let people know what to expect, and what you expect from them.

The About page is one of the most important things you can have. It's where you describe your muse. Tell people their background, their appearance, their personality, so on. I like to look up character sheets and fill those out. Even if they're a canon muse, it's important to summarize them where people can reference, especially if they're canon divergent.

These two are requirements for most people to RP with you. You can put them on separate Tumblr pages, Google Docs, a post on the blog itself, whatever. So long as you have links where people can find them easily, it's up to you where you put them.

Jumping In

Okay, that's the technical stuff out of the way. Now, we get to the good part: actual RP.

Finding partners is an active process. People aren't just going to roll in. You have to put yourself out there, I'm afraid. However, it's not as scary as it sounds.

My personal technique for finding people is to go into the tags to look. "Open RP" and "Open Starter" are generally the first ones I check. People post RPs you can respond to here. Make sure you check their rules and about pages first. After that, jump in! A lot of them might not be a permanent RP partner, but that's okay! If you're tenacious enough, you'll gather a few people after awhile.

If you're in a fandom, then use that tag to search for people. "(Fandom) RP" will be where you hunt for those.

"Group RP" tags have group advertising. If you want to join a group, here's where you'll find a bunch. They have their own rules and characters, so be sure to check out their stuff before you ask to join in!

Another thing you will see is RP promos. These are basically advertising a blog and its characters. It can help pique your interest, or if you make one, it can pique the interest of others. With these, you can always follow the blog and see how to best contact them, either through an ask or an IM, to ask if they want to RP. The worst they can say is no, after all. You'll never know until you try.

If you want to post things in the tags yourself, you'll need to wait a bit for Tumblr to acknowledge your blog - about a week - then post away! You can make your own open starters or RP promos to try and draw people in. Canon characters tend to draw in more people than OCs, but don't let that discourage you!

After all of that, it's just a patience thing. For example, I've been here for years, yet only have about 10 people who RP with me. Others get hundreds of people following them. What matters is that you enjoy writing with the people that want to write with you. It'll take some time to find those, but they're out there if you look. You might even make some new good friends. Who knows?

Aight ima preface this by stating: I.do.not.do.pity.rp. If i am currently RPing with you or follow you...the following opinion does not apply to you.

I do.not.do one liner RP. (outside of dashboard shinanigans that is more often than not being discussed at greater length elsewhere off dash that no one else but the direct participants can see). 

My top most reason for not doing one liner RP...I am literally incapable of condensing myself down to just one line of text. I can not fit everything that my brain requires to be conveyed down into one sentence. If that’s your speed good on you. It’s not mine. I literally can NOT write it. Just like some of you can’t write paras or multiples of. If I am presented with a single line of RP as a starter one of two things is gonna happen.

1. I will not respond to it at all (and let u know privately that im not going to and why) 

or 

2. If I’m feeling particularly writey that day will give you back a multiple paragraph response. That I constructed based off the dialogue given, meme sent, icon used, or all of the above.

That’s just how my brain works. You either are going to get nothing from me or you’re going to get way more than you were bargaining on.

There’s no in between with me.

Now that is not to say at all that I hate one liner rp’ers or anything. I don’t. Those dudes do them. I’m not functioning on the same bandwidth as them. It is literally a case of It’s me not them here.

general definition of this are those three sentence two paragraph max rp’ers more or less yea? And well...that’s also just not my speed. Doesn’t mean i won’t write with someone that does this, just means I won’t be doing it. You’re gonna get much more than three sentence two paras from me. No ifs, ands or buts.

Oh boy. I love this because of how nebulous it is. And also happens to be where i live most of the time. I generally will write anywhere from three (above sentence minimum) paragraphs to i dunno...seven? eight? Dialogue excluded. That’s just what you’re gonna get with me.

Discerning your personality and your approach to your muse gives me a much stronger understanding of how to write with you, and what vibes between us. Plus, it’s easier to remember different people’s boundaries if I talk with them a lot, too.

ARE YOU OKAY WITH ABSOLUTE HONESTY, EVEN IF IT MAY MEANS HEARING SOMETHING NEGATIVE ABOUT YOU AND/OR PORTRAYAL?: I am all for constructive criticism. Even if you think it’s nitpicky, it’s going to be a great help. Good crit allows us grow as writers and as people in general. However, I am not for baseless accusations, childish name-calling, or outright insults under the name of “constructive crit”. Remember the “constructive” part: we need to build each other up.

WHY DO YOU RP AGAIN, IS THERE A GOAL?: I love a good story. While I don’t agree with everything Cullen does (and no one should, for anyone real or imagined), his story is intriguing. He’s a deeply flawed, deeply broken man. I love to take on a character, toss them in every situation I can think of, and watch them evolve and grow.

WISHLIST, BE IT PLOTS OR SCENARIOS:  A real redemption arc, for one. A realistic struggle with substance abuse and recovery. A future of happiness.

THEMES I WON’T EVER RP / EXPLORE:   Rape or sexual assault, unless being spoken about as a past event (as I truly believe that Cullen was sexually assaulted at Kinloch along with the other psychological and physical torture he endured). In-game racism is baked in, unfortunately, but it’s not something I seek out to roleplay as a PoC myself. Finally, while I play Cullen as canon-straight, I will not play out homophobia and most definitely not transphobia. If he rejects your muse for hitting on him, it’s not because he’s being homophobic: he’s just not interested. That also doesn’t mean he’ll never be interested; people can and do change, and I ship chemistry overall. He doesn’t hate your muse for their gender, orientation, or sexual preferences. I feel like I really have to spell this out for people who don’t understand. If you feel personally insulted by this somehow, feel free to address me directly, off anon. It’s probably an issue of fuzzy wording that I’m 500% willing to fix and talk about.

WHAT TYPE OF STARTERS DO YOU PREFER / DISLIKE, CAN’T WORK WITH?: I love starters that set the scene and provide plenty to work with, be it in terms of interacting with the environment or with the other person. If your muse shows immediate disinterest in communicating (and I don’t mean argumentative, which is perfectly fine), I am not going to respond. I might politely ask for more if I feel like it’s a salvageable interaction.

WHAT TYPE OF CHARACTERS CATCH YOUR INTEREST THE MOST?:  Stoic soldier types, bubbly short girls, and semi-mad scientists.

WHAT ARE YOUR STRONG ASPECTS AS RP PARTNER?: I'm very easy-going and I have an unearthly level of tolerance for almost everything. I try to provide partners with as much to work with as possible IC, and will pretty much support your very existence OOC. I believe in open communication so you’ll know what’s going on with me and/or our threads. Also, I typically reply within a week or two. Currently I’m tethered to finishing a big paper so I’m not a good example of that right now.

WHAT ARE YOUR WEAK ASPECTS AS RP PARTNER?: I can get overwhelmed by too much which slows my pace down considerably. I’m also a bit distant and do shut down on occasion; that’s usually no fault of my partners, though. Just my brain being a dick.

ARE SHIPS IMPORTANT TO YOU?:   YES / NO Ships are a great way to further explore a character and their motivations. People do not exist in pure isolation, so I don’t believe characters should, either.

WOULD YOU SAY YOUR BLOG IS SHIP-FOCUSED?: YES / NO. I bolded both because the focus of the blog isn’t ships, but this thirst trap guy is really easy to ship with other people I tell ya hwat. I am severely picky with romantic ships for Reasons, but I don’t eschew any other types of ships. I encourage them!

He’s loyal, he’s intelligent, and he’s largely self-aware. He likes swords and using them. Anything your character hates about him, he most likely hates about himself 100 times more.

WITH WHAT TYPE OF MUSES DO YOU USUALLY STRUGGLE TO RP WITH?:  Those from the start that show absolutely no interest in speaking with/interacting with him. Mun and muse are going to struggle to stick around. I’m not going to fight for attention and neither is he.

WHAT DO THEY DESIRE, WHAT IS THEIR GOAL?:  Redemption. He wants to be a better person and make up for the past as much as he can.

WHAT CATCHES THEIR INTEREST FIRST WHEN MEETING SOMEONE NEW?:  He can sniff out a fellow Templar a mile away (or several miles, in the case of Samson). 

WHAT DO THEY VALUE IN A PERSON?:  Honesty, a strong will, devotion (not necessarily to the Maker or the Chantry, but to a just cause that focuses on protecting others).

WHAT THEMES DO THEY LIKE TALKING ABOUT?:  War stuff, chess, books, trebuchets, dogs.

WHICH THEMES BORE THEM?:  Lectures about anything. He did his time in Azkaban in the Circles. No more. Please no more.

DID THEY EVER WENT THROUGH SOMETHING TRAUMATIC?:  His parents died trying to escape the Blight, he was tortured for weeks/months on end by blood mages, almost all of his friends died because of it, he was manipulated and brainwashed by his superior, he was forced into a near-debilitating substance addiction by his workplace... yeah just a few things.

WHAT COULD LEAD TO AN INSTANT KILL?:  Darkspawn and abominations. 

IS THERE SOMEONE /-THING THEY HATE?:  Darkspawn and abominations. Blood mages on principle. Regular mages (but he’s working hard to remedy this extremely bad and prejudiced thinking). Himself.

SPEED: I am far from being fast with things. Used to be faster a year or so ago but those days are long gone and I just go with the flow of my motivation and brain being willing enough to work with me. Summer’s worse due to the heat and I want to either sleep or not do anything if I can help it. Some days I can write entire novels and other days I can’t even string together two sentences, all part of the cycle of writing for me.

REPLIES: I usually get them done when I see em in my notifs, but things have slipped by me or I plain don’t have any idea how to reply for a time. Chuck em into the drafts till inspiration hits me or I let it go and wait to catch the next one but this happens very rarely as I like to do the replies and what not. Music is a big help for getting the ‘feeling’ of a reply, so usually when I get down to business, I have a playlist going.

STARTERS I like writing em’. Ranges from a one liner, a few sentences, a paragraph or even multiple para’s depending on how well my writing juices are for that splice of time. The more I know about a character or how Joseph’s feelings are, the more I can write and expand upon. I usually don’t tag as a first-off-the-bat cause I don’t know how new mutuals take to that and I usually wait off on the sidelines ahdfnlgj but don’t let that stop ya. Give a little time, let the developments happen and you’ll end up having a certain Joestar kicking down the door at 3 am to talk about stupid shit.

INBOX -Stares at my inbox- Ehehe.. well.. y’see about that.. its been at least 3 years since I had an absolutely empty askbox anslfjg But I am making an effort to try and cut down on how many asks I got. Usually I try to answer within a few days if I ain’t in the groove or it’ll take anywhere from a week to months. I apologize for this and I apologize again for when I have to just delete some asks cause I don’t know how to answer or feel it’s not relevant anymore. There’s really no two ways about this aldsjgg Don’t let it discourage ya from sending in another however.

SELECTIVITY I’m semi selective only cause I don’t want to deal with any drama that happens in fandom. As long as you’re chill and don’t go about poking things or doing call-outs, vaguing frequently, etc, I’m content enough. I’m like that oasis in a desert y’know? I like my little part of the fandom. May or may not follow back, depending on how well I think our writing styles work together or how compatible I feel with another writer, how fast my dash goes as I dislike when it updates too frequently. Me being semi selective does not mean I won’t accept asks from non-mutuals. I ain’t all that strict on this whole selectivity unless I do need to put my foot down to maintain my sense of peace on this hellsite.

WISHLIST Treasure Hunting AU. Anything that deals with some Ancient/Past v Modern gimmick. Joseph having more time spent with his mother, EoH with him meeting his family and having it NOT become an all out battle royale anldfsjg. There’s like a lotta complications with Joseph I feel.. on a deeper note, a side that’s never touched upon in the show and I love to explore my ideas on what those might entail and how it affects him. In short, I’m usually up for just about anything, just chuck something at me and I’ll say if I like it/don’t think it’ll work/expand more on it with my suggestions/ etc. AU’s are the bread and butter of this blog.

HONEST NOTE I keep saying it-- I’m slow as fuck both on here and on discord but please, never take that as I’m bored with one or any negativity pertaining to that notion. I just have a Hell brain that decides when it wants to socialize and when it doesn’t. Doesn’t help with being Taurus cause we enjoy our solitude and we’re stubborn even with ourselves alfsjgn but I try to get back as I can to people when I am able to. Other times I don’t know what to say so never be afraid to just chuck a brick at me and tell me to come out my cave cause I do forget shit and replying is one of those things.

All in all.. This blog shitposts and the portrayal may not be what people expect from a Joseph but hell, I’m just a guy trying to have a good time. Tired usually but writing’s just one of those enjoyments to life. Plenty of fish in the sea as the saying goes.

HOW I RUN MY BLOG

SPEED: fluctuates on my mood. I’m relatively fast? like usually same day reply fast. sometimes it takes me a few days. know that the long it stays in my drafts, the longer i will take on it. my all time record is about 3 years. while granted it doesn’t take that long, don’t be surprised about it. best case scenario, it takes me a couple of weeks, i dont like having things fester. i also sometimes forget too! you are more than welcome to remind me if it seems like i have but please don’t make it a habit. in regards to response time on pms/discord -- short turnover rate. I usually respond to it within the hour. usually within seconds/minutes actually. if i am awake that is. unless im offline and in my happy place, i tend to log out of discord to get away from people when im overwhelmed. blog wise, i dont have him on my app. so messages are only when im on my laptop or have time to check on chrome mobile.  

REPLIES: i dont like drafting them. my dash is slow enough that i can scroll down to it. i will draft it though if i need to. length wise, im an avid writer. i write A LOT. they can get very lengthy at times. i write with a bit of prose -- that prose can get very HEAVY depending on my partners as well. i also format as well. i like heavier formatting without losing the quality of the writing. i dont like one-liners. you will see me with at least two paras or more. please know that i am dyslexic though when it comes to writing, and i have a bad habit of rereading my stuff after i post. so mistakes && errors are a thing for me. i try to catch it when i am rereading as im going through to format the posts. but sometimes things get missed. you are more than welcome to fix some if it is a bad spelling mistake ( better to ask first tho cause i spell with a brit keyboard -- and i specifically choose certain words to be spelt a specific way. )

STARTERS: when i post the starter call, any mutual ( && i really mean ANY of you ) can like it. this goes for if you follow me on multiple blogs. we interact already on one blog? by all means we can interact with one another on your other blog. but if you do, it gives me free reign to do whatever i want. look for my tags to see what i say too. they usually are a key factor in regards to my thought process. i try to get everybody done within reasonable time. dont worry i will never not make a mutual a starter if they like the call. i usually go for the first interaction/meeting with the muse though. if that doesn’t float your boat then you can message me about it. i normally don’t message people in regards to starters because A) im tired, B) i expect you to come to me.

INBOX: inbox is absolutely open to anybody! in fact, if i post a prompt, i ask that you send something in. even if we never interacted! im more versed into throwing the muse into a pre-established relationship. with the inbox, i will sometimes go to you because of that. i really do love to write, && the inbox is a perfect way to send something in without having any strings attached in regards to replies. like i said im an avid writer. i always want to write. sometimes people are slow and i get that. since im faster, i have no problem in doing inbox stuff for you to develop interaction ( aside from plotting ). best way to actually enjoy character interaction for me tbh. cause sometimes threading be hard okay?

SELECTIVITY: i am biased, i will say it now. i have preference over people i talk to ( who i consider my friends ), or people that i like. but that doesnt mean i will blatantly ignore you. people should know that if you talk to me, then the chances are i will give you more attention. sometimes i just click or vibe with people okay? in regards to following. i am on the heavy side of mutuals only and i prefer a slower dash. i give about a week for people to follow back, or ample enough time for them to follow. there will be some people that i will be fine if they arent mutuals though as i like their content. that being said, i try to be super fair to everybody. i give people an equal chance. if i follow you it means i want to interact with you ( there are super rare exceptions ). but go too long without interacting, then i will unfollow/softblock. im not a number for you. i have feelings. and, yes, i will, at random, unfollow those who either dont make me comfortable anymore, or i need time away from them. or im just not getting that vibe anymore. 

WISHLIST: see here && here for some stuff i want. i love his pokemon verse i have. i also love his FE verse i have as well. i have a FE3H AU as well but i will naturally throw him into FEH or FE3H for that verse. i have plotted with a friend in regards to an echoes verse as well. honestly. i just want a lot of stuff for him. i want more wolf interactions. i kinda favour his beast forme anyway. but i also want interactions with the language differences. there is a language barrier with him! but i want those interactions cause he understands you! i have that hc somewhere dug in my blog. gotta find it. other interactions? i want a midna to interact with. link && the links AU?? also what does a man gotta do around here to get people to discuss plots.

HONEST NOTE: if you think im an elitist, then find your way out of the door -- youre probably right and i dont want you here. ive been here for a really long time && i know what i want. all jokes aside though, im tired of people being intimidated by me for different reasons. some people think its my aesthetic ( when really im not that bad ). others are intimidated by the sheer amount of writing i do? like okay?? kindly fuck off please. i write for stress relief. i write to have fun. my idea of fun is writing a lot. if you have a problem with that then sorry but i dont want you here. i have a passion for my muses and if you dont want to hear it, then i dont have time for your complaining. theres an unfollow button. i have a journalism degree so... yea. but really. im just really tired okay. im actually a very sweet person and i wear my heart on my sleeve. anybody who knows me well enough can tell you that. i hate being ignored tbh, so if i find energy && time to like talk to you, at least acknowledge me by saying thank you. btw im not really that much of an an elitist -- i just LOOK like i have a hard shell, but im actually super soft and squishy.

How I run my blog.

SPEED: It all honestly depends on how I’m feeling? If have muse to write, then I have muse to write. I’m pretty fast... I guess. Most of the time I like to take my time on replying, make sure everything is spelled right and readable, no mistakes, since I do tend to rewrite a lot of my responses to make it sound better than what I had before.

REPLIES:  Short, multi para, novella... one liner. There are times where I like to put most of King’s thoughts into responses than dialogue by itself since he doesn’t really talk that often unless he has to or only has to make a comment that’s necessary to the situation.  I will sometimes put my replies into queue instead of posting them right away. Why? Because I do my replies literally at the dead of night (2am-5am, allegedly) and would rather let it be posted when everyone is active. I’m not active on this blog all the time. I do have other blogs that I’m now starting to be active on since I just came back to this hell ass shit fuck site.

STARTERS:  I don’t write starters, sorry. The only “starters” that I’ll ever write are the memes I reblog and whoever wants to send me something then we’ll go from there. I’m fine with plotting anything really. I’m just not... a big fan of writing starters. It sounds weird, I know. 

INBOX: Send me whatever! Unprompted, prompted, just a random thing, sure! I don’t really mind who blows up my inbox. Just be aware that it’ll take me some time to respond. I always queue memes in case anyone wants to send me something. Please don’t be afraid to send me stuff!

SELECTIVITY:  I’m... highly selective? I guess? Not really? If I know your character, high chance that I’ll follow back. Type-0 is a really, really, really small ass community, and I know majority of people either don’t know about this game or just don’t like it for being “the most bloodiest Final Fantasy there is.” Other than that... I only follow if I know about your character / can see our muses interacting, etc.  If someone has an oc, the only thing I ask is that there’s an information / about page of said character so  I can know about them.

WISHLIST:  Nothing really as of now. I just want King to sleep.  I might have a few things that I want to happen for this guy. I guess exploring more of his modern verse, give him a normal teenage life than dealing with wars and other stupid shit. Relationship wise? Uhhh... Not really sure. Shipping isn’t my big plan for him BUT that doesn’t mean I don’t want it to happen. Platonic? Sure! Romantic? Sure, he’s fucking weird about it though cause love isn’t on this dude’s mind 24/7. Familial? Sure!  You just want to hold his hand? Okay, go ahead.

I’m not that big on speaking either, too.  And also-- don’t be a huge dickhead? These past few weeks or whatever, shit has been getting out of control cause people are just stupid and think its funny to joke about what’s happening globally.  Or you know, speak over poc’s / black people in general and then turn around talk shit, drag them, harass them, say racist shit to them and then play the victim.... it’s tiring.  I know people come to this site to escape from their reality, but when REAL LIFE ISSUES LIKE THAT is dragged into THIS SITE and gets over looked? That’s not “Drama.” That’s a daily thing that black people go through every fucking day.  It’s frustrating. If you see the issue, please don’t fucking over look it. People want this site to be “drama free” though they turn around and look the other way or defend someone all because their blog is “popular”. Who gives a shit? I don’t and I don’t care. Stop speaking over black voices.  With that said... thanks for taking the time to read this !
