Fogtown uncovering a deep conspiracy in funding

Fogtown tongue in cheek mystery game takes to crowdfunding for Linux, Mac, and Windows PC. Due to the work and effort of developer Fogtown Games. The campaign is now live on Seed&Spark . Fogtown is an interactive game seeking crowdfunding on Seed&Spark. Also the debut episode of this original tongue in cheek homage. Following Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s great detective. Which is just the start of a planned season of rip roaring adventures. One due to be full of mystery, humor, and heart. All taking place in a felt and cardboard world full of eclectic square headed puppets. Now launching a $49,000 USD crowdfunding campaign to finance the production of a Fogtown. The campaign will run for a full month on Seed&Spark. A popular film and storytelling fundraising platform. Which also has an 80% success rate in supporting creative projects.

Due to be a short but highly replayable choice-driven interactive companion tale. Which is being developed with its own wacky standalone mystery to solve. No really this is a show that's pilot is currently being made and hoped to be pitched to a studio to get the whole thing made

It's called Fogtown, a mystery comedy satire starring Sherblock and Blockson; it will use real puppets with a CG background to make its world

I got the chance at a local film festival to watch their presentation and two scenes from their pilot, and I highly recommend keeping an eye on it, as it's set to film a "remastered" version of its pilot this spring (and making a choose your own adventure video game alongside it... I mean good for them)

If you wanna learn more, they have a YouTube channel they used to find crowdfunding and show off what the show will be like - they've already achieved their funding goals, but you can go to their website to tip some more!!!

HELLO!! I just got done watching the pilot and as a lifelong sherlock holmes autistic I want to tell you directly I loved it so much I'm genuinely overwhelmed at how much I enjoyed that I know nothing about puppetry but AMAZING JOB on everything from the visuals to the character work to the voice acting - THANK you for bringing joy and whimsy back to Sherlock holmes!! on a related note I would like to monetarily support the project however I'm in the UK and it appears I can only use the donation page linked in the youtube video if I'm in the US as it asks for a US address and zip code - do you know if there's a way around this or if there are plans for a means of donation for overseas supporters? thanks again!!

The detective duo are absolutely chuffed to know there are lifelong fans of theirs! Even if they're from another universe.

Those of us here want to continue creating more whimsical and joyful Fogtown stories as well - but like Sherblock, we got a little bit preoccupied and didn't think about all the options.

We will check and see the best way for our out-of-country friends to contribute (that will hopefully be tax-deductible as well). In the meantime, the best support we can get right now is to share around our pilot episode with anyone else you think will enjoy, and follow along our progress as we create a choose-your-own-adventure video game, as a companion piece.

Yesterday on the Fogtown set: we're playing with expressions

I love listening to the next clip of dialogue and thinking, how can I play with their expressions for this clip? Push the limits of what these little guys are capable of? Luckily, there's a whole stock of eyes to choose from! We got almost all of our filming done for the Fogtown game demo in one 7-hour session! This is crazy fast lol, usually we only average 1-2 minutes of footage a day. But the game so far has a lot more static shots of dialogue. We lose a lot of time just re-adjusting lighting and figuring out how to rig the puppets for each scene, so shooting dialogue trees with the same shot over and over again is way more efficient.

The Fogtown game demo will be premiering next week at the Adventure Game Fan Fair in Tacoma, Washington!
