So I talked about Sherblock being dramatic, and I just wanted to share my favorite shot of him from the pilot:

I love this scene for three reasons:

One, it shows that he is human, an aspect of his character missing from so many modern adaptations. He has doubts and fears, and he feels the same emotions anyone else does.

Two, he trusts Blockson enough to be this vulnerable around him. He doesn't bottle his emotions up, he expresses that he is upset and gives a reason why. He knows Blockson cares for him and that he won't invalidate his feelings, so he shares them.

And three, the most silly of them all, collapsing onto a couch and lamenting your woes to your dearest companion is the most Victorian thing Sherlock could have done in this circumstance.

Have you heard of Fogtown? It's an indie pilot on YT based on Sherlock Holmes that uses puppets. It's incredibly well-made and funny. The fact it hasn't even cracked 10k views yet is CRIMINAL.
