My short take, on the Jack O Moon animatronic. The short take I think, that the Jack O Moon, is like Mew from pokemon. That he was the beta version of Moon.

And once used for Halloween theme festivals, and shows. Because, of the really classic texture that he's got. But then, was later replaced...And re moddled, to the formal Moon.

Then, I think the Sun and Moon model was inspired from the Jack O Moon model.

So, that's my small take on it.
