Woo yeah baby!! First time writing fnaf characters that arent the dca- dont get used to this.. I'm.. probably not going to write the rest of the cast.. maybe.. idk

Characters: just the animatronics, no glam bonnie though :(

Notes: reader is GN, reader is implied to be a human worker, can be read as romantic or platonic or even crushing!, mostly what they call you and what you call them in return, no real scenarios, takes place prior to SB/au where the pizzaplex is.. fairly normal, use of they pronouns but not for hc i was just copy/pasting stuff LMAO

What they call you: obviously superstar comes out like second nature because its what hes used to, but he does sometimes call you sweetheart, lovely

What you call them: you sometimes call him old man as a joke, i mean... its the dad vibes.. and you know what? he takes it in stride! obviously bear themed names are a given, and he loves all of them. cuddle bear, honey bear, bear, ect ect ect

MONTY

What they call you: babe/baby, runt (affectionately)... i cant explain it but he looks like someone who would use sugar every now and then

What you call them: Handsome, stud, big man, hunk, and if you slip it when hes in a good mood he will only snort if you call him a cutie patootie

ROXY

What they call you: babe, your name. nicknames arent really for her, but if you have anything you want to be called shes open to it!

What you call them: you sometimes call her captain every now and then though its far from the main thing you call her. roxstar is another lighthearted one and you tend to drop it after cheering her up! dorky and dumb name, cant help but get an eye roll from her.. usually though you call her babe or just her name

CHICA

What they call you: if youre masc shes gonna call you a hunk, especially if youre on the muscular side, loads of food based nicknames... cherry pie, honey pie, dumpling, honey bunny, and so on!

What you call them: sweetheart, queen, princess, lover girl, things like that are some of her favorites!

SUN

What they call you: Maybe I'm biased but Starlight Starshine by steam powered giraffe is so dca x reader coded, so naturally and obviously... Sun calls you Starshine! On the flip side he also calls you Sunshine!

What you call them: Love the idea that he's a lover of all things cheesy when it comes to romance, maybe it's the theatre loving side of him that peaks out... something something cliches... call him a sillier nickname and hes going to try to one up you

MOON

What they call you: Yoinking from Sun's part, he tends to call you Starlight! Sometimes though he calls you Brat, not in a sexual way, he does it to tease you or get at you when you're being a bit difficult-

What you call them: he likes something thats a little less... generic... and preferably something that doesnt hinge off of what you call sun. matching names are cute and all but he likes having something for himself sometimes.. you sometimes call him bed bug in a similar way people call someone love bug

ECLIPSE

What they call you: comet, and keeping up with the star names i think starbright would be cute... reference to the "starlight starbright" thing!

What you call them: casanova, Lovely, Prince, Lover to name a few! similar to sun though, they're not all that picky so long as you put though behind it!

DJMM

What they call you: blasts the djmm uses sign hc- calls you lovey, as well as a shortened version of your name. loooove the idea of having a set of notes that just get associated with you that kind of just play out of him

What you call them: hunk, love bug, sweet thing, he looks like he would enjoy being called a cutie patootie every now and then

My brain: ok but what if we didn’t do that actually *develops crossover and writes a spin-off AU with details down to the mechanics of each animatronic*

Anyway what if Mystery Skulls DCA crossover?

So with this crossover (AU??) the story is mostly the same as the Mystery Skulls animated series, but with a few changes.

The gang all worked together in theater production; Sun and Moon were performers just like in canon SB, while Y/N and mini djmm were behind the scenes, doing tech, organizing events, etc. However, the crew also loved to go exploring, and Y/N, being heavily interested in the paranormal, usually led “investigations” into haunted locations. This was all for funsies and frankly, the boys just had fun going out and observing.

One night they go to an abandoned cave and get separated, and due to a… malfunction… in Sunny’s arm, he pushes Moon off a nearby cliff, tearing the poor bot to shreds. But! Whatever force that amplified the glitch in Sun also allowed for Moon’s will to stay alive and wrath to seek revenge on sun to strengthen, and eventually revive his sentient ai, piecing himself back together as best he can, with the rest of him materializing into a new body. Eventually, Djmm finds Sun and rips his infected arm from his socket, which brings Sun back to reality.

Sun doesn’t remember any of this except for Djmm tearing his arm away, and Y/N barely remembers Moon at all. In fact, all they know is Sun had a theater partner once, but one day they just vanished. Sun… doesn’t like to talk about it. He grows depressed, long after he gets repaired, and soon after stops performing to look for Moon full-time.

When he realized Y/N didn’t remember anything, he was conflicted. Confused. But once he realized he couldn’t seem to jog their memory, he kind of kept the events a secret from them. Not for his sake, no, but because he knew Y/N would blame themselves if they ever found out one of their silly escapades resulted in the death of someone so dear to them all.

Also for those interested, yes I designed Djmm with Mystery’s transformation in mind, here are some chicken scratch sketches I saved while I was figuring out their look:

‘My Spiderling’ 1/?

DJ MM wasn’t quite used to having another animatronic around, but ever since Fazbear Entertainment had sent in the spiderling he was no longer as lonely as before.  

The main designer Anthony had even allowed DJ to have a part in your making, Species, Practical features, and the like. It had taken months upon months for Anthony to finish making you. Not that DJ being impatient and antsy was making the process go any faster, but Anthony wasn’t one to complain about the obviously lonely bot.

DJ hadn’t gotten to see you during your creation so he was elated to see his new partner as soon as you were dropped off at the Arcade.

An animatronic built to be 3 times smaller than him with a peacock spider design, and a soft coating of fuzz all over.

Upon meeting you rubbed your pedipalps together and blinked at him with bright multi-co-lour eyes before raising your front legs and doing a little dance. Bright leds flashing on your abdomen. 

And he just knew you were perfect.

You were meant to be his handler of sorts… 

You’d help around the Arcade and keep the kids and teens in order, so the cleanup crew had less of a “Crime Scene” to clean up. 

Sometimes the teenagers would become violent and throw anything they could get their hands on at DJ. You were there to deescalate the situation and also help DJ clean up if needed. 

So far you’d only been with him for a few weeks but he already knew he’d protect his little friend no matter what.

Humancursed characters (and ArtFight!)

Deciding to join artfight gave me the motivation to draw the cast of Humancursed! (Minus YN because they don't have a super specific design, but my sona is in artfight cuz whynot.)

DJ's human design for Humancursed has improved a lot since the first time I drew him. A lot of that has been helped by @artastic-friend, whose drawings of Humancursed DJ helped me get the image of Humancursed DJ down on (digital) paper.

The process for designing Humancursed DJ was interesting, since I'm not going directly from canon -> human. It's canon -> fantasy bio-spider -> that specific bio-spider is given a human form. Which is why the outfit doesn't really match up with anything on DJ's original design, other than the furred collar, which is only a coincidence.

Wearing their merch (FNAF SB) (Part 2/2)

SUN

a headband with sun rays! it may look a little silly but isnt that the point! the daycare attendant is a jester after all! theyre a pair of silly guys!

lights up when he sees you wearing it and skips over... his own rays are spinning around as he tells you how cute you look with them on- or cool if you prefer to be called that! or some other compliment! assuming hes not calling you ever word under the sun...

hes more used to seeing people wearing a shirt with him on it or dressing up in his colors and so on compared to moon, but that doesnt make him any less excited to see someone coming in looking like him!

crushed if any of the rays get dented or torn depending on what material theyre made of, will do his best to mend it

MOON

his hat... sure, its not the most unique thing out there but he knows its supposed to be his when you come into the daycare wearing it for naptime!

will snatch it up off your head to make sure its the real deal or just some other product from some costume shop... WILL be dangling from his wire so you cant take it back from him

if it werent for the sleeping children nearby he would tease you more and hold it just out of reach

he may tease you for it but it does make him feel a bit... weird... not weird bad, probably! its just that sun is typically the more favored one in general so seeing someone just... rocking his stuff... plushies are one thing but wearing something is different!

DJ MUSIC MAN

headphones! they look cool! they even light up! how cool is that!

it takes him a moment to notice that youre wearing them but as soon as he does hes going to sign to you that he thinks you look nice with them!

if he hasnt already given you a playlist of music or otherwise given you songs hes going to make sure you have at least a little something to listen to with your new headphones!

he doesnt have much merch and hes pretty okay with that, actually he was surprised he even had headphones in the first place- at most he thought hed get a plushie or something! he thinks its sweet that you wanted to match with him...
