And when they no longer felt it hurt, they knew they had waited too long to do anything. It was already too late. Until it really isn't.

Hey everyone!

I’ve had a few asks regarding when the next chapter is coming out. I made a mistake trying to put it on a regular schedule, mostly out of excitement, without considering the struggles I face trying to adhere to a deadline with my writing. I also had a pretty big change recently that required me taking time off work and away from social media to recover and work through, but it’s mostly been settled! It won’t be on a weekly basis anymore, but I will have the next chapter out tomorrow! I will give a heads up the day before I am able to post subsequent chapters!

I was working on the “Nasty Dog” meme animation for Ruin for my fanfic animation “How to fix what’s broken.” And… I worked many hours on one of the layers (granted I don’t animate really ever) and I accidentally deleted it because I thought it was only on one frame… It’s now gone forever on EVERY FRAME. I tried to look up how to get it back and f###### FLIP A CLIP doesn’t have the OPTION to GET IT BACK!!!! THAT FUNCTIONALITY SHOULD EXIST!!!!

Anyway… out of sheer rage and pure dead inside frustration I deleted the app and vowed to never do animation again. I will now commission artists if I ever want it done…. I will stick to drawings and comics for this content.

I’m lucky I was able to take photos of Ruin before I accidentally deleted the f###### thing.

1) sun has a plethora of stickers hidden away somewhere. Moon has, in fact, ripped apart his office trying to find them, but to no avail. He got tired of finding them on his belongings and paperwork when Sun gets into a sticker frenzy. Eclipse doesn’t mind nearly as much. You’ll never hear him admit it, but he secretly enjoys them as well.

2) yes!!! It’s very important to y/n in this story that their vessel is willing and they go through great lengths to find a perfect and willing vessel.

3) this was something I debated for a while. Initially I was unsure if y/n should just create a mirage to appear human, but that came with a lot of challenges in terms of writing. But then I had a bright idea… author insert. It’s me- *cough cough* my character that I project onto- as the vessel. Initially, he’ll be relatively in the background, but I wanted their relationship to mirror Sun and Moon’s relationship when they share the same body. Needless to say, he will be a present character throughout the fic, just not as much initially. It’ll definitely seem like he’s just dormant 90% of the time, per se, but I guarantee he has his role. I’ll post the vessel when I get the motivation to actually draw it lmao

Hey! Y'all remember that poll I did about that DCA au? Well...

I DID IT!! Friendly Figments takes place in a universe where the reader has been in a mental institution for most of their life, and started hallucinating Sun and Moon. Sun likes to encourage fun and thrilling activities, like playing games, jumping on the bed, or trying to balance on the back of chairs. Moon encourages more devious activities that benefit Y/N, such as stealing things they want, breaking the rules, and fighting the people who are mean to them. Please give it a read if you are interested! Who knows, there may even be a few familiar names. At the moment this is just a one shot, but if people like it enough, I'll write more! Broken Hearts and Rusted Bolts is still my main fic, so don't worry to the people who want more.
