While this is a subnautica au, the story isn’t rigorously following the original plot. It’s mostly the same world, same mechanics, but different stuff is going on.

Readers choices will be partially controlled by polls and asks, so while I have an overarching plot and ending in mind; how fast we get there will be mostly in your hands.

I'm curious about a few things 👀 How did "Eggs" and Springtrap bumping into each other at Fazbear's Frights that first time go? What's Phone Dude's thoughts on Springtrap and also the nightguard he chats on the phone with who's toootally not the same person? And if someone were to, say, write a fanfic of your AU, what'd be your ao3 username so the work can be properly gifted over there-

If the top narration seems a little stilted, that's because Moon's narrating, not Sun. This has an expansion on Moon's sound-based programming talked about by Eclipse in Egg Problem part 2. I borrowed the idea of insomniac kid being exempt from normal nap-time activities as well as Moon's "wait mode" programming for when nothing's happening from my friend @shirajellyfish's fic I See You, Sundrop. ^-^

(Ah, oops. I forgot to add low light levels are also required for "wait mode" to activate, hence why Moon "sleeps" in cupboards as seen in Geronimo, and why he's playing by himself instead of "napping" as seen in Moon Alone.
