Hi everyone!! Here's the prompt list, a whole two months early!! :D 

Fmabruary is something I did this past February as a challenge to myself to draw something everyday, and FMA was a theme voted on by my followers! I was a little cruel to myself by trying to make a piece within a whole day, start to finish, with just whatever idea I came up with whenever I sat down to draw-- it really dragged by the end of the month... but this year, it's different! Armed with a prompt list and now two months to prep, I also invite you to join me!!! :D

Although I plan on doing every single day with a finished piece, feel free to do literally whatever you want!! A couple of days, a couple of sketches, out of order, any medium... literally anything. You can ignore the prompts too!! Let's just make February 2025 a month of FMA appreciation :3 

There are no rules for participating!! All I ask is that you tag any posts with #fmabruary2025 so that we can all see each other's art!! 

Let me know if you have any questions!! And, since I know it's coming: Halcyon means "a period of time in the past that was idyllically happy and peaceful"! Sorry to drop a vocab word on the prompt list...!! I liked it too much to sub it out @_@

Ed wants to end this farce before he gets caught and thrown in jail, or worse, loses his Amestrian citizenship.

From everything he can tell, Mustang is being perfectly sincere in his dealings with Pakor. He's sincere about almost everything, actually. A terrible quality to have in a leader, which Ed has to remind himself several times to keep himself from admiring it. The man's Xingese has improved from conversing with Ed, at least, and that's why he doesn't think anything when he walks into the man's office, nose buried in a book, and hears him speaking it.

Then he looks up to see to the surprised face of Ling staring at him and practically flies across the room.

"Ed?" he asks incredulously. "What are you-"

He slaps his hand over Ling's mouth, glaring for everything he's worth. Killing him will cause a war between Xerxes and Xing. It's truly a shame.

Everyone is looking at them, Mustang half risen out his chair and Maes making an aborted gesture between them. Ed would actually pay money to know what kind political gymnastics are going on in their minds right now.

"Prince Ling and I are acquainted," he says in Xingese. Ling snorts beneath his hand at the formal address, which he honestly can't remember if he's used before. "One moment, if it's not too much trouble."

He yanks Ling to his feet and drags him out of the room. Lan Fan only waves, which seems to be reassuring to Maes if no one else.

Ling at least keeps himself from laughing until Ed shoves him in the closest broom closet. "What," he gasps, face red and tears leaking out his eyes, "are you wearing?"

"I hate you so much," he hisses. "If you fuck this up for me I will assassinate you, I'll fucking do it, you know I could get away with it. Mei would even thank me."

Ling keeps laughing.

The trick is that it's not a December prompt list. It's not a January prompt list. It works for any month with 31 days!;)

As long as people wanna use it anyway:D

There will be a different one for the months with different number of days :)

No one is limiting your understanding of prompts, it's not a pairing-specific list, so you can literally do whatever.

i know i joked about it but would you guys actually join me in an fma month draw challenge... fmabruary if i may.... and if you were to join would you prefer prompts or not..

of course if you join you dont have to be a maniac like me and literally draw on the day of bc i know its a really hard thing to do (i did not finish unscathed lol) AND. who cares. you odnt even have to do all 29 days of february. maybe just three drawings in february. just a month where theres fma. imagine.....

Scar doesn't know what to make of the teenager kneeling in front him.

She's dressed proactively enough that he feels the need to look away, for all that she's almost entirely covered. She doesn't appear concerned by his blood soaking her knees and she doesn't flinch when she reaches for the wound on his arm. "Who did this?" she asks in passable Ishvalan.

Why does a blond Amestrian child know his people's language? She couldn't have been more than a toddler when war broke out.

He shakes his head, pulling away from her, but she grabs his arm with surprising strength. He has to have lost more blood than he thought. It's the only reason he can think of for why her hand feels like iron around him. "It is not right," she tells him.

She lets go to pull at his jacket, manhandling it off of him while he lets for her reasons he can't name. She rips the remains of it into strips and uses it to bandage his arm.

He hisses with pain as she pulls it tight enough to stop the bleeding and she gives him a look, her golden eyes flashing with exasperation. "Baby."

He bares his teeth at her before he can think not to, but instead of being intimidated she just laughs at him, continuing to bandage up the strange Ishvalan man she found collapsed and bleeding in an alley.
