I'm gonna call this hat "The Lil Stinker" design, it's a play on the rectangle cat hats for beginners but modified a bit to resemble a dark flying chao from Sonic Adventure, which is itself a reference to Night from Nights into Dreams.

because i can't stop thinking about the roadtrip Amy mentioned in Frontiers!!

Do i have a whole storyline for a non-existing Amy game in my head? yes. Do i know what to do with it? nope. Maybe an AU? idk,At the moment i'm working on some fake “screenshots” for fun (? (they do not pass as screenshots at all but i wouldn't know what to call them) so at least there's that.

also here's the first drawing i did of these designs ,not too proud of it but i'm sharing it anyways!

“Oh little storm,” the being cooed, hands that are both large enough to crush the world yet small enough to hold his face gently running through his hair. He was being held by lightning, by stars and space and everything in between, cradling his form like he was something oh-so precious. “A surprise to be sure,” the being crooned, purred, rumbled, cracked, some noise of the depths of space mixed with something indescribable. “A surprise, but a welcome one.” 

Billy had never felt so small, yet so loved, like the world itself was holding him against its heart as the whispers of the gods bled away in something akin to awe. The being smiled, distant storms letting loose and ending droughts, even more distant stars bursting into being. “A little marvel of existence,” they hummed, hissed, cooed, whistled, hair- or strands of galaxies- melding into the abyss around them. 

“A surprise son. A child of the Cosmos. Yes.” He was held so gently, space itself dancing and flickering around him, suns pressing hundreds of freckled kisses against his head. “Welcome home, little storm. Welcome home, my son.”

I also wanted you to jump in and add to @laylajeffany ‘s fur!ball Wednesday arc because scrolling through her comment section and the possibilities in future chapters inspired me!

some of the lineart is heavily inspired and/or traced by references I found online and the proper credit for the original posing and anatomy is under the cut

Also that same friend pointed out to me that there was a comic that had a Circus theme. Right after I was already done with my first drawings. Found it funny that knuckles was a clown

Also apparently there was some mini comics of Tails as a magician which i found funny bc I have yet to draw him and I didn't know if i wanted him to be a magician seeing as he's all about science I wasn't sure on magician then again it is all about tricking the mind (guess ill have to draw him next)
