listen I know death of the author and everything and we should all ignore what one of the co-creators of arcane says anyways but like. it’s so fucking hilarious that quite literally everyone else involved in the making of the show ships jayvik. animators. storyboard artists. some of the writers. the fucking music video for the line included jayvik scenes. I’m pretty sure the voice artists ship it or support it. like this one man is like idk we designed them in mind as brothers and the rest of the people involved are like we did?

I think more people (me) should stop using Ravens and other corvids to act as omen's of death when doing a symbolism and start using Pīwakawaka as omens of the death instead.

Howdy hello- guess who made a wings au :)

More to come with this eventually- I’m working on my designs for other characters at the moment, but for now we’ve got Red-Tailed Hawk for Curt and Eagle Owl for Owen.

For DMA I had Barn Owl wings because a) Barn Owls are beautiful and I wanted to draw the wings for them, and more importantly, b) Owen would probably want to disguise his wings, and it would make sense if it was as a different type of owl. I just assume he’d dye his feathers in some way or another. Look- just don’t think about it too much.

When it comes to Bart and Kon and their association with Kansas you definitely hear sunflowers coming up a bit in writing or art, but what about the Western Meadowlark??? The state bird (which is also the state bird in 5 other states)! There's gotta be something there.
