Israel's seasonal rains are beginning, just after Jews finish reading the Torah portion about Noah and the Flood. Israelis are currently helping flood victims in Poland, although Spain may have to wait a little longer for Israeli aid. Israel's enemies called their Oct 7 invasion a "Flood", and Israel is successfully responding to that desecration of its holy Simchat Torah festival. Finally, whereas Noah's Flood created a new, clean world, Israeli innovations are repairing this world by purifying the environment, desalinating sea-water, and generating clean energy. Israelis are working hard to eliminate many of the world's other major problems too.
The photo is of the sea from Israel's shoreline. It is probably similar to the harmonious scene that Noah experienced when the rains finally stopped those many years ago.

As we begin 2025, Israelis continue onwards with life-saving and life-changing innovations and activities to benefit its citizens and all of humanity.
Because of the war, huge advances have been made in Israeli technology to rehabilitate the wounded. Recent medical breakthroughs and research, as seen in this newsletter, will benefit cancer sufferers, diabetics, trauma patients and many more globally. Scientific successes have surged ahead in the areas of agriculture technology, cleantech, cybersecurity, renewable energy, water technology, vegan foods, and of course defense.
Israel's population grew past the magic 10 million mark and its 2.1 million Arabs are to receive extensive government financial help to establish tech startups and develop Hebrew language skills. Meanwhile. there has been a big rush to enlist in the IDF from women, middle-age men and religious Jews.
Finally, archaeologists constantly reveal more and more historic Jewish links to the Modern State.
The photo has very little to do with the theme "onwards", except that every year Israeli Chanukah donuts seem to get even more colorful and delicious!

Since the last Positive Israel newsletter the Middle East has seen some monumental changes. Israel's borders have been strengthened and many hostile threats to Israel's citizens have been eliminated or vastly reduced. In other areas Israel's recent achievements also have been awesome. Israel's phenomenal medical researchers can now detect and potentially eliminate many severe genetic diseases. More groundbreaking Israeli technological innovations are bringing immense benefits to the environment, agriculture, energy efficiency, security, commerce, and transportation. Meanwhile, we thank the leaders of Paraguay and Uruguay for their powerful support to the Jewish State.
The photo of Mount Hermon is from the poster display at Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport. The entire monumental strategic site is under Israeli control for the first time in 50 years.

I'm not an African American. I'm an American. I was born on American soil. But I did go back to the motherland, and I loved it. And made millions going back to the motherland. But I was born in America. When the Europeans came to the native Americans. Well, they liked to call them the native Americans, but the Indians' land, we don't call them European Americans. So, I don't want to be called an African American. I'm an American. You can call me a black American, but I'm an American. When I competed in the Olympics, they didn't say I'm African American, they said "that American is fighting out of the red corner or out the blue corner. I love America. I love this country.
Americans don't quite realize how weird they look to the rest of the world. The fact they segregate linguistically is just bizarre. They have the same flag, the same national anthem, the same "football," spell words like "aluminium" incorrectly.
Arnold Vosloo is "African-American." He migrated from South Africa to the US. Oprah Winfrey is just American. Born and raised. She's not an immigrant. She's not visiting. She's not on a temporary visa. She doesn't hold dual-citizenship.
A couple of years ago, I stopped using the term "African American" entirely for exactly this reason - it was a whole Jesse Jackson thing anyway. You're Americans. If it's ever relevant, black Americans or white Americans.
