The bright and beautiful orange...how conspicuous!! . . 2 months back she came home with a couple of bright flowers, in a plastic container, from a green-house. Typically, a greenhouse is a well contained system with moisture and temperature controlled. And when plants come home, they begin to behave differently. We wanted her at home, so we gave her a new habitat - a #Kokedama and wanted to observe how she will adapt. . . And she did!!! . . . . *Not for sale Kokedama* . . It took me a lot of time to actually start selling plants, to convince myself to sell plants! All I wanted to do with them is to keep, to hoard and to keep buying this, to buy that and buy every other variety of plant and grow them and watch them grow. . . It's addictive!!!!! . . This is my favourite #Kokedama of one of my favourite plants - 🍀African Violets. . . I always wanted a collection of African Violets in my garden since many many years. And for some reason never made the efforts to start the process. My Mom had a huge collection and I simply entertained myself watching them and ooh...aahhing! . . About a month ago I found few African Violets at a nursery. In my spree of buying plants for the workshop, I picked 2, one in blue and one in pink! . . Now these are my favourite #Kokedamas, I don't want to sell them. Although in my heart this pink one is waiting to be gifted to a special person!!! . . Fittonia Kokedama loves a really bright spot in your home. While direct sunlight can harm the leaves, indirect sunlight can help it flower into red or orange blooms. Let it sit in a space where there is light air movement. . . Although this plant establishes strongly, yet the leaves and stem are delicate when handling. . .
