I have come to ask about the florist Dream au. Please ramble at me.
(link to the first question I answered here for some more context ->here<-)
When facing the giant mers surrounding the island captain Sam has his crew hide below deck on the ship to have Dream reason with the mers (since Dream told them it was impossible to get past the water giants, but it is possible to reason with them) and Dream ends up making some new friends- while nervously lying about why he was there, in fear the pirates would kill him (but tried to make it clear to the mers the real reason without outright saying it- hoping the giants would spare him-)

florist!levi's biggest secret is he's allergic to certain flowers, and so always keeps allergy meds on him/takes them before work (it's not a life threatening allergy). prior to your relationship, you, ofc, don't know about said allergies and innocently get him a bouquet made of certain flowers he's allergic to. what's worse is you give it to him at a time when he doesn't see the need to take allergy meds (e.g. not at work). and that's the story of how you became an enemy of florist levi lol.
he hates you. legit despises you. his rational side knows very well that you had absolutely no way of knowing about his allergies before you eagerly (and flirtatiously) gave him a bouquet. for a single second, he thought it was a nice gesture.
then his eyes started to itch and his nose started to run and he thinks you should kinda go fuck yourself. after that, every time you enter the shop he gives you the death stare that has you weakly chuckling and walking on eggshells the whole time. he finds it annoying too, who needs flowers at least once a week?
(someone whose home is quickly running out of places to put these arrangements because you keep using the excuse of buying flowers to see your favorite grumpy florist ofc)

I’m fascinated by the floral decor in Wedding Florist, Becky’s, (and husband Rob’s), house in the village of Mayfield, UK. Isn’t the living room elegant? Of her Edwardian home she says, “I have secretly managed to decorate every room in the house with flowers.”
The bootroom (mudroom) is Becky’s favorite in the house. She did all the carpentry in there herself, putting up tongue and groove paneling and shelving to accommodate her collection of earthenware jars and floristry tools.
Becky and Rob found the 1950s enamelled-metal sink and cupboard unit on eBay. They had it sandblasted to take it back to the steel and then polished it themselves.
Essentials are stored in a dresser with glass doors, found on eBay, and reclaimed wood was used to make the shelves.
Over the dining table is a wrought iron light that the couple had fabricated. Becky decorates it according to the holidays and seasons.
Becky papered the original hall of the house with the pages of a book of botanical prints that she found in a charity shop for £2.50
On the upstairs landing is a glass-fronted bookcase from Becky’s grandparents’ house.
The botanical theme continues into the main bedroom, where Becky papered the chimney in a pattern called “Bamboo Garden.”
Of course, plants thrive in the bathroom.
This child’s bedroom is rich in Becky’s floral theme – in fact there’s hardly a surface she hasn’t “flowered up.”
The other child’s room is done in bright bold colors.
The garden is a space that can be enjoyed by the whole family. Becky has cleverly ‘zoned’ it into different areas, with two levels of lawn, flower beds, a play area and vegetable garden.

Ink and Nectar

Kairi had woken up early to get a spot of coffee and have a walk around the city before heading to the shop. Downtown was already starting to pick up in activity in the early morning, but most of the world was still sleepily pulling themselves out of bed and doing their morning routines before they'd head out themselves. The air was cool, not yet shaken off the night chill as the sun hung over the horizon. It was one of her favorite times of day; peaceful, hopeful.
As she rounded the corner towards where her shop was waiting to be prepped, she noticed movement in front of the shop next to hers. The florist who ran it was finishing a display up front, before heading back inside. Kairi had only ever seen the shop owner from a distance, through the front facing windows as he chatted with customers and put together arrangements at the counter. She'd been curious about the shop and wanted to step in sometime, but it was always busy--no doubt thanks to the owner's beautiful work, if not simply his good looks.
But as she came closer, the shop seemed empty except for him. A twist of fate, perhaps? Simply a coincidence of her timing catching the shop during a slow period? Whichever it was, Kairi was being given an opportunity. And after staring at the display out front for a few minutes, building up her nerve, she finally pushed the door open to step inside.

florist au. tell me
:DDDDDD
Dream is a florist but doesn't just sell plants/flowers, he also loves them and loves studying them! Including plants of legend and folklore- so when a group of pirates come to town asking for information on a magical flower on a nearby island everyone points them in the direction of Dream
To cut corners on their research they decide to kidnap the cute guy and bring him with them as they sail off to get the flower, wanting to use him as a guide so they can avoid all the perils set up to protect the plant.... Including the giant mers surrounding the island and the giant monsters that live on the island, all of which have the goal to protect the flower at the highest mountain
