@flora-tea 's Oudette and my Cathar OC named Koh Ta at the cantina! Been having this in my mind all day so wanted to draw out the scene at the local coffee shop while waiting on the guys to finish up stuff at the house (apparently had to get more wood to finish baseboards and jacking up the house tomorrow hopefully).
Glad to make their day a little better while doing art since I haven't had the muse to do it especially traditional art lately <3

Echinacea purpurea, eastern purple coneflower, purple coneflower, hedgehog coneflower, or echinacea (lat. Echinácea purpúrea). A perennial herbaceous plant native to North America.
Many scientific articles have been written about the medicinal properties of echinacea. I recommend contacting them better, as they will reveal the benefits of this plant in more detail and professionally than me. For my part, I would like to share a recipe for tea with echinacea, because autumn is the season when we get sick more often and our body needs additional help🥰
☕️The recipe for tea with echinacea: 1-2 fresh flowers (not fully opened) or 2 tsp. of dry collection, brew 0.5 liters of boiling water and insist for a few minutes, then you can strain. You can add rosehip berries and honey. The drink turns out to be spicy and fragrant. The only thing is, it is better not to abuse it and not to drink for longer than 1-2 weeks in a row💚
Echinácea purpúrea).

"He's different.
That's the only word that comes to mind.
Different.
It sticks to her teeth when she tries to say it, lodging itself uncomfortably in her mouth until all she can do is swallow it whole and pray it doesn't choke her.
Normally, in such a context, it would seem derogatory. A snide remark on a person's character when one doesn't have anything bad to say, but nothing good either. Like a hideous vase worth a fortune or a bouquet of beautiful flowers that turn out to be weeds. It's awkward and creates a blip in polite conversation that must be glossed over with a forced smile and weak chuckle.
Or, perhaps, it's the perfect word for when nothing else quite makes sense.
Like now, for instance."
SUMMARY: Zelda is struggling to accept how drastically her knight has changed from who he used to be. Thankfully, for better or worse, he's found a few brothers who are willing to lend a helpful word.

A Determined Red Geranium Yeehawgust Day 15 (late) - Desert Rose [IMG ID A mixed media painting, mostly watercolor-ink, of a red geranium plant growing out of a patch of dry desert soil next to some broken bits of a former beer bottle. In the background is a rusted metal wall. / END IMG ID.] I honestly do not know if a geranium would be able to survive a very dry environment with poor soil and no care, but maybe some of the seeds for the things on Project SEEDS were genetically-enhanced. I like to think that some of Rem's seeds and cuttings might have survived the Big Fall and just sprout up in random places.

Meadowsweet or mead wort, meadow queen, lady of the meadow, dollof, bridewort (lat. Filipéndula ulmária).
A tall (can grow up to 1.5-2 meters in height) herbaceous plant that is found in damp and swampy meadows, along the shores of reservoirs, in swamps, damp places throughout European territory, the Caucasus, Siberia and Central Asia. In legends, it is more often referred to as a landmark for detecting water. The smell is honey, reminiscent of melon, but too sharp and intrusive for me.
🌾A small bonus! Meadowsweet tea.🫖
🔸️200 grams of meadowsweet flowers, 20 grams of rosehip petals. Dry the meadowsweet flowers and rosehip petals in the shade at room temperature, mix and use for brewing. It turns out a beautiful, amber tea. You can add honey. Have a nice tea party!😉🔸️
Filipéndula ulmária).
