Sextet was ACR's second studio album after To Each... the year before. It's not really what you'd consider a singles album by Knife Slits Water is released as a single. Both album and 12" version are great in there own right, the 12" version has much more space but I'm putting the album version here because it's a more cohesive listen. It has that Blue Monday drum they got off Giorgio Moroder/Donna Summer

Before the year was out ACR released their third studio album I'd Like To See You Again. Where Sextet is possibly ACR's most popular album I'd Like To See You Again is probably their least popular. People were puzzled by their disco direction but these bands were trying to achieve the superior production that was coming out of NY disco in the early eighties. Shriekback, A Gang Of Four, Heaven 17, Scritti Politti/Orange Juice/The Associates, New Order and many many more were all doing it

Still profiling the 446th Bomb Group at Flixton flying Consolidated's B 24 Liberator. They carry an astounding bomb load, although I am reading varying capacities. And range must be considered. I would guess these bombs are not more than 500 pounds to drop so many. #WWII

Made it to Espera -- or, where Espera would be if it were real. Lot hillier than I'd realised, tbh! I knew, intellectually, that there were hills, but since I live in probably the flattest part of England, I sort of forget that topography does impact on your daily life and travel experiences...

We passed through or saw signs to Sledmere, East Lutton, Weaverthorpe, Foxholes, Fordon, Hunmanby, Staxton, Flixton, Burton, Grindale, and more. I'm not sure anyone has ever looked so excited to take pictures with the road signs leading to these villages before... 😅 I hope the inhabitants don't mind that I plonked a city on their heads.

Just back from little trip to @jparkersbulbs garden centre in Flixton. Garden centre well layed out and staff protected so pleased to support this garden centre. Got few gap fillers and 2 Delphinums for pots.
