After being inspired by @making-you-in-spore, @makingyourfavindti, and my general love of scrying up fandragons, I've decided to make this silly little gimmick blog! Now, it's time to answer some frequently asked questions. I'd recommend reading through this all before sending in a submission.

How are you doing this/What is Flight Rising?

Flight Rising (or FR for short) is a browser game where you collect dragons. I use the Scrying Workshop's Predict Morphology feature to create the base dragon, then I give them clothes with the Dressing Room.

What's that gibberish at the bottom of each post?

In case anyone wants to recreate the guys I make, I share the dragon's breed, gender, colours, genes, and what apparel I used below. If y'all DO make one of my scries into a real dragon, I'd love to see it!

What’s your uploading schedule?

As of November 20th 2024, I set up a queue that uploads once every three hours or so. However, this is liable to change in the future. I’ll also sometimes post a few things earlier than that.

What tags do you primarily use?

#fave scry (self explanatory) #not a scry (anything that isn't a scry) #not my scry (for sharing other people's scries that I like) #my scry (for sharing scries I made without an ask first) #remade scry (for scries that I've remade for whatever reason) #scry help (need help with scrying your own dragons? Be warned that I will be including images of whatever character/thing I do, including body horror, creepypastas, etc. If you are uncomfortable with those ‘scary subjects’, then please block/ignore posts with the #unsettling scry tag.

Why do you not use skins/accents/this one breed etc?

I try to not use skins/accents since it's hard to find exactly what I'm looking for, but will still use them on occasion. Also I just find certain poses kinda ugly, unfortunately cough cough female mirror. However, if you want me to use a certain breed/gene/colour/etc, then feel free to tell me in your ask!

What won't you do/why did you ignore my submission?

You'll find a list of things I will/won't scry below. That's the #1 reason why I might ignore your post. Also please keep in mind that I’m one person, and also in college. I don’t necessarily do requests in order, either.

Basically anything. I'm not kidding. You want me to turn your bowl of mac and cheese into a dragon? I'll do it. Just keep in mind the previously stated exceptions :3

Anything involving IRL politics, tragedies, etc

Anything NSFW/fetish-y

Anything DSMP, Harry Potter, or South Park related

So thinkin more of Dragon Gotham, and once more, I am not drawing three separate dragon forms for Every gothamite ever. So I used Predict Morphology on Flight Rising to come up with general ideas/visualizations for each dragon form. So I guess have a Part 1 of that lol.

SO, first of all, each of these will be in the order of Alpha, Beta, Omega, though some characters might prefer one gender over the other, or not bother to change into one of these forms often. Anyway, enjoy.

Intro post

Hello! My name is Frog. Don't ask me why I'm not frogkin, but my name is Frog, I don't know. /silly

If you're coming from my main blog:

Yup, this is the "super secret" otherkin account of @tadpoles-and-daydreams. I decided to make a separate account and blog for dragonkin and dragon work rambles, since... well, to be honest I just wanted to separate my blog for witchcraft writing, tarot, etc. from this. This is a more personal blog in which I mostly reblog and post random little memes and tidbits, heavy UPG, dragon work, and what the hell does it look/feel like finding out your soul is draconic anyway?

And just in case: if you're coming from my main blog and are unfamiliar with any of the shit I'm talking about here in terms of otherkinity, dragonkin, being a dragon- please feel free to send in asks. I plan on writing more in-depth in a bigger post about what it is, what it's like, how I found out about it, etc. etc. but that will take a lot of time and energy that I currently don't have. Further down, though, I give the best TL;DR I can!

My familiar- though I hesitate to use that word due to its connotations as an "assistant" rather than a partner in my practice- is the one who kickstarted this by implying my energies were draconic in nature.

For everyone, regardless of how you found me:

This is where I plan to blog about my experiences when it comes to working with dragons, and fucking being one apparently. I want a safe space to write about my experiences, no matter how much I change. I feel like I've only dipped my toes into a vast ocean, a whole new aspect of my identity and my craft. I decided that I wanted to be able to write completely transparently about it- fears, mistakes, flaws and all- without it reflecting majorly on my main blog/my professionalism as a tarot reader who's just starting out.

So expect it all; the funny, the cool as fuck, the ranty posts, everything. This is just as much a tumblr blog as it is a journal, for me. I heavily value transparency, and that's something I can't be in public as an otherkin.

hi i can't attach images on anon so you'll probably have to scrap these together in predict morphology yourself but i saw your new flight rising dragons and made scries for them ^_^ i think icescream looks fun with piebald primary, noxtide secondary (paisley also looks good as a cheaper option but i am a huge fan of the orange accents on violet) and firefly or sparkle tertiary (1/2)

these look so cool!!! i especially love seaweeds, i was little disappointed at his bland beginner palette but now i wanna work to see if i can create my handsome stinky boy
