I just think the best way to control the somewhat rabid younger heroes is to grab the scruff of their neck/shirt and hold them in the air until they tire themselves out.

It works on all brands, batkids, superkids, flashkids, deathstroke kids, arrowkids, wonderkids, you name it. It may also work on some adult heroes; see Hal Jordan.

I was very inspired by the anime Iron Leaguer and generally each character there is so damn awesome.

I do not even remember what kind of mood I even got at, but I ended up picking Flashkid and designing for him this weird dress and just did an aesthetic sketch like that.

Yes, he totally looks like an angel and such a freaking stylish rockstar xD

But - here he looks too freaking calm, In destroyed his character :') (but still poked a cigarette with glasses in his hand lol)

Yehaw robo time!!

The first character I first fell in love with: I started to love Silky, but after Topjoy came on screen I was like "Oh.. I think I love him" and not long after was I saying "Oh I absolutely love him"

The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: You could say all of them tbh! The first time I saw bits of the show I wasn't very enticed and didn't think I'd like it at all (Foolish). But look at me now :^) For a more character involved answer though, I actually really love Superhead a lot now... He's so silly. I love his smug little smile. Meanwhile when he was first introduced I couldn't stop laughing at the name "Superhead"

The character everyone else loves that I don’t: Hmmm... Don't know if this applies at all! I love them all so much!!! I suppose I could say thunderbolt though, as Thunderbolt x Flashkid seems quite popular but Thunderbolt just doesn't seem to come to mind too often for me. But I do love them both, as well as their pairing!! I just love too many characters that a few slip my mind.

The character I love that everyone else hates: It seems some people don't care about Destiny. In fact, when he was introduced my friend I was watching with said no one likes him LOL and from there I was like "Well I'm going to love him" And well. I do :o) And I think the fact I kinda pair this atrocious tennis player with Segal is making me like Segal a bit more as well.. unfortunate turn of events for everyone.

The character I used to love but don’t any longer: Losing my love for a leaguer?? Impossible. I still love them all dearly!!! In fact, my love for all of them grows stronger each day!!!

The character I would totally smooch: Obvious answer is Topjoy but also all of the robos pwease and thank you ;__; Even if not a smooch I just want to share my love with them all v///v

The character I’d want to be like: Hmm idk I'm pretty epic and swag as it is (false) but I really admire Magnum Ace's determination to always get back up and follow the righteous path. However I would also like to be like Gold Foot: attractive, a robot, and thus can play soccer again.

The character I’d slap: I'm a pacifist so I couldn't even if I wanted to slap Arrow and Spirits for not giving Magnum a hug after reuniting.

A pairing that I love: All of them? All of them.. there's too many good compatible ones. Poly silver castle love.. all of topjoy's.. though I think Gold Foot and Windy being like nearly canon is nice, it makes me so emotional ;;..

As for personal ones I like that feel a bit obscure, I really like AmpxButterfly leaguer, DestinyxSegal, and 13Destiny.

A pairing that I despise: Needless to say just the problematique ones. Anything else I'm just pretty much neutral towards.

Batkids Teams

This is how I view the Batkids and the teams they've been on, in my Earth Never AU thing

Dick's Teams:

Teen Titans - Dick as Robin created Teen Titans alongside Wally West (Kid Flash), Roy Harper (Speedy), Donna Troy (Wonder Girl), Aqualad (I'm not sure which one tbh, I'm not super aware of Aquafam stuff srry), Koriand'r (Starfire), and a few other members that eventual joined.

As Nightwing, he was still apart of Teen Titans, and new members like Garfield Logan (Beast Boy), Rachel Roth (Raven), Tara (Terra), etc., would join. He and Kori were like their mentors, but they were still young so more like close friends.

Outlaws - He is not an 'official' member by any means, and nobody considers him an actual Outlaw. But due to his relations with Kori, Jason and Roy, he is often willing to help them.

Justice League - Dick becomes officially apart of the JL alongside Wally even before he took on the mantle of Batman.

Babs's Teams:

Teen Titans - She technically joined the TT's when she was Batgirl, but was never a prominent member.

Birds of Prey - She created them after she became Oracle. Members include Helena Bertillina (Huntress), Dinah Lance (Canary), etc., and eventually Charlie Gage-Radcliffe (Misfit) is 'adopted' by them.

Jason's Teams:

Teen Titans - Jason joined the TT's a little after Beast Boy, Raven, etc., joined but was not a prominent or close member.

Outlaws - He created the Outlaws with Kori and Roy (Arsenal), and later teamed up with Artemis and Bizarro. A few other people became honorary members, like Rose Wilson (Ravanger).

Tim's Teams:

Teen Titans - He joined but was not a prominent member. Jaime Reyes (Blue Beetle) is the only notable new member around this time (to me anyway).

Young Justice - Tim as Robin started his own team alongside Conner "Kon" Kent (Superboy), Bart Allen (Impulse), and Cassie Sandsmark (Wonder Girl). Other members like Cissie (Arrowette) would join later on.

Cass's Teams:

Birds of Prey - Due to how close she is with Babs, she often worked with the Birds. Other than that, not many other personal teams.

Steph's Teams:

Teen Titans - As both Spoiler and Batgirl, she joined Teen Titans but was never a prominent member.

Young Justice - Due to how close she was with Tim, she was like an honorary Young Justice member, but like Dick and the Outlaws, is not really a member.

Damian's Teams: (this is inspired by @newyoungjustice )

Teen Titans - Unlike canon, he is not on a team with BB, Star, Raven, etc. I'm not exactly sure who's around his age at this time, but it would most likely include Wallace "Lace" West (Kid Flash?), Lian Harper (Red Riding Hood?), Arther "AJ" Curry Jr. (Aqualad?), etc. Maybe also Irey and Jai West (Impulse and Velocity? Those are the names @newyoungjustice used, but I want easy differentiating between all the Flashkids, so Irey might be something like Flashette 'cause why not. This is off-topic but basically: Wally is Kid Flash 1 and the Flash; retired, Bart is Kid Flash 2 but returns to Impulse, Lace is Kid Flash 3, Irey is Flashette or smthn else, and Jai is Velocity or smthn else).

Super Sons - His team-up with Jon. Sometimes Kathy (Beacon) and Maya (Nobody) are considered honorary parts of their team, but officially it's just Jon (Superboy) and Damian (Robin).

New Young Justice - Damian and his 'friend' group often get referred to as the New Young Justice team, although they are not officially a team. Mostly they do it just to annoy him (because Young Justice is Tim's team, so they're insinuating Dami was inspired by Timmy). Members include: Jon, Kathy, Maya, Maps, Suren, Colin (Abuse), Carrie (Batgirl), etc.

Duke's Teams:

We Are Robin - Duke doesn't necessarily have a team, but he is still very close to his We Are Robin group (he's even canonically dating Izzy I'm pretty sure). Duke is a good natural leader, though.

So basically, Teen Titans is Dick's team and is like the team every young superhero joins, Birds of Prey is Babs's team, Outlaws is Jason's team, Young Justice is Tim's team, Super Sons and New Young Justice are Damian's teams

15. Youth, part two. (Young Justice: Kaldur&Dick&Wally, @fantagore​)

Secrets weigh a ton, and if anyone has ever bothered with taking a hot minute to ask: No, he wasn’t ready to grow up, not like this at least.

Dick Grayson is Robin to them, and he always thought he would be okay with just that.

The first time Dick meets Wally and Kaldur, he meets Kid Flash and Aqualad as Robin. The Flash and Aquaman are standing in the same room, so is Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and freaking Superman.

Nobody can really blame him, after the fact. Because to say the very least, he wasn’t entirely paying any attention to Wally and Kaldur when they introduced themselves to him.

“--Robin?”

“Yup, that’s my name, don’t wear it out.” He tells them, turning to face them with a grin he throws on, “and you’re Aquaboy and Flashkid.”

“Uh.” Blond hair, dark skin, thick black lines wrapped around his arms.

“The other way around.” The red head corrects him, his freckles almost vibrant.

Dick furrows his brows in confusion at that. “Kind of counter intuitive. So the one with the gills is Flashkid but you’re Aqua--“

“Let us start this again, Robin. My name is Kaldur’ahm, Aqualad.” Kaldur says with emphasis on the lad.

Dick doesn’t exactly go red but he is just a little bit sheepish because oops.

“And I’m Kid Flash, but you guys can call me Wally.”

“Robin.” They both look at him like they are expecting more, and Dick blinks behind his domino mask because oh, oh. “Superhero.” Dick points at them before pointing back at himself. “Vigilante.”

Neither one of them looks convinced.

“If it makes you feel better, you can call me Rob?”

It is some kind of compromise. Kaldur looks like he wants to push, Wally is already reaching out like he wants to physically push him, but he settles for some wholehearted ribbing and Dick sinks into it with relief.

Secrets weigh a ton, it is a good thing he has gotten so good at it.

He is a kid with some resemblance of a childhood that isn’t just knuckles beaten down to torn skin and flesh. He’s had many good memories with them that stayed that isn’t just the death of his friends. Almost three years after Wally leaves the team, Nightwing asks him to come back to all this as Dick even if Wally doesn’t know him as him, just yet.

He can count on one hand the years that have passed but it feels much longer with the three of them back at this together.

“I know I’m asking for a lot here.” Dick tells them, for once without a domino mask or a pair of sunglasses covering his eyes. “But trust me.”

For the first time in never, Dick gives them the undiluted truth.

Kaldur looks like Dick has finally confirmed something he has always known, and maybe this is not what he expected Wally to take away from everything that he shares but, well.

"Your name’s Dick.” Wally repeats after him like he must have misheard.

Kaldur doesn’t laugh outright but by the turn of the corner of his mouth, the two of them have long since learned to hear the amusement bright and loud from the boy who has been their leader since that very first mission down into the sub levels of Cadmus.

“Can I go back to calling you Rob?”

Dick laughs and it is still all relief. Dick has absolutely no idea how he managed this far and never slipped up once. From Robin to Rob to Nightwing and now Dick. It feels like they’ve come full circle.

If mixtapes were ever a thing for them, Dick might just have to call this youth part ii for how far they plan to go this time around.

The very next day, they stage Kaldur’s betrayal.
