goodness gracious, I’m good! I saw some post about not being able to opt out of twitter’s ai harvesting and got freaked out and impulsively deactivated both of my accounts, which is thinking pretty high of myself post deactivation clarity, because im such a hack. because as much as I love Ruby being defensive on behalf of a short MC, Reese teasing her about her height was just so good. And then I had to pick James for the whole "you know you aren't actually the tallest person here, Reese 🙄" scene.

I've been torn between Silas and Sofia the most out of all of them, but after joining the patreon and seeing the portraits, Silas has won out on account of he's the most beautiful man I've ever seen ever 😳🥺

and then I chose Becca because A) I wanted at least one female RO dammit, and B) something about having all of Nora's Fernweh friends being men and the friend she met outside of town being a woman feels very poignant, especially with the way the townsfolk treat Becca like an outsider. It's also very true to my lived experience; most of my friends as a kid were boys, but most of the ones I've made as an adult are women. I don't know why that is, but here we are.

(I don't know that purple is Nora's color, I see her more as a light/neon blue (or like a dusky magenta?), but I didn't want her color to be too similar to Silas's, so I picked purple. Reese's color is more black than red, also, but I like a rainbow.)

Finished Star Wars on Trial and Matthew Stover manages to perfectly encapsulate how I think everyone should approach watching Star Wars material they don't like.

The whole point of Star Wars is to help you be creative and think outside the box. It's a fun make-believe story.

If there's something you don't like about a Star Wars movie, or any movie, you can either rage about it or get creative and come up with a headcanon that makes it work better for you.

Instead of saying "TLJ Luke wouldn't do that!" I try to ask myself "what would make Luke do that?"

Instead of disliking the Dooku episodes in Tales of the Jedi, I just tell myself that they're all seen through Dooku's own unreliable lens and immediately it all makes sense.

It's a lot more fun when you choose to grin instead just going "Quit it!" and I'm making an effort to do the former more than the latter, especially when The Acolyte will come out.

Patch 1.9 Full Event Summary! (Live Updates)

The 1.9 event summary got posted! I ran the patch notes through google translate and combined them with some translations from the official server. If I find anything else major I will update. Skin/Character previews can be found in my previous post, and I'll post some new character kit rundowns later! I will tag every spoiler post with the version number, so add that to your filters if you don't want to see anything about it.

Free Six Star for everyone: Semmelweiss, a mineral support that drains ally health to give them buffs based on their missing health.

First banner: Lucy, an intelligence DPS/support that spends Electricity to give their incantations extra effects, such as hitting more targets or buffing ally afflatus damage.

Second banner: Kakania, a plant support/tank/sub-healer that absorbs a portion of damage taken by allies and uses it to enhance her self-healing and damage.

Lorelei is a star afflatus five star support/sub dps. Her incantations haven't been released but her i1 Passive gives a buff depending on the most common card type in your hand, and her i3 passive gives her moxie when critting with her ult (Just Star Things). She is obtained from the new roguelite mode so may be accessible to players starting after 1.9.

Just watched the first three movies from the twilight saga

It made me realize two things about teen wolf:

1- Stiles and Bella have way too many parallels (Pale, their dads are police officers, both wear flannel, get thrown into the supernatural etc.)

2- all sterek fics are just Edward and Bella in a different font (from what I've seen from sterek fics)

the awan flannel outfit in aw2 has like. three explanations as to how it got there in my mind

1) casey has owned the clothes for a long time, never worn them and never will— they're not the right size anyway— but hasn't been able to make himself get rid of them. he felt like he needed to pack them for this trip, but he doesn't know why

2) they're david's clothes and saga accidentally packed them along with her stuff... somehow...

3) they took alan on a fun little shopping trip after they got back to bright falls and said he could pick out whatever clothes he wanted :)
