Someone in @teaaddictyt‘s discord asked about ATS Creative Toy 001 recolors, so I decided to make some! They come in select LACK, Anna’s, and Poppet colors - I used 2 colors for each one, so there is some mix-and-match happening among Anna’s and Poppet’s. The LACK colors feature different cute characters: yeti, alien & stars, barn animals, grim reaper, grilled cheese, flamingo, and elephant. The others all feature a little teddy bear head.
These are probably more recolors than anyone will ever need, but I have a psd in case you’d like to make your own, with pieces clearly labeled.
download | swatches are included!
Happy holidays, everybody!

Alrighty and HERE ARE OUR CONTENDERS!!!
Tag for the polls: #bird battle
DISCLAIMER - I wrote the round one blurbs when I was very sick and half awake, so if you see any mistakes PLEASE TELL ME! Nicely, obviously, but I want to make sure they sound good for round 2. Thank you!
I know there’s a lot of them, but man there’s SO MANY GOOD BIRDS! There were a few times where people didn’t put what specific subspecies for some birds, so sometimes I’d have to choose one. I tried to choose one that represents that bird the best!
I don’t know when the polls will begin, I’m doing some research on the birds so that people can read about them before they vote.
If one of your favs didn’t make it in, don’t worry they’re a winner in my and your heart.
If you are wondering where the Pigeon (Rock Dove) is, THEY ARE THE FINAL CHAMPION! At the end of this bracket, the winner will face off against the mightily popular Rock Dove! Will they be able to beat such a tough challenger? We will see…
Also, a note on how I set this bracket up: I put all the birds in a numbered list and then used a number generator. I think the matchups we got were really interesting.

You've got to think of what you want to do, and then you've got to get out and make that happen." -Dolly Parton
• "Be yourself. No one can say you're doing it wrong." -Charles Schulz
• "It is a curious thing, the death of a loved one. We all know that our time in this world is limited, and that eventually all of us will end up underneath some sheet, never to wake up. And yet it is always a surprise when it happens to someone we know. It is like walking up the stairs to your bedroom in the dark, and thinking there is one more stair than there is. Without sadness, there can be no happiness. Without misery there can be no beauty. And without these, life is endless, hopeless, doomed and damned. Adult. You have become adult." -Harlan Ellison

• "All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us." -Gandalf, The Fellowship of the Ring
• "Not all those who wander are lost." -Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring

@sindirimba tagged me to share the first parts of some fanfic wips that I’m working on (and this is my first formal invite to do something like this since those old quizzes on DeviantArt, so I feel all deeply flattered and warm and fuzzy about it already and thank you bb! ❤) Here we go! (There’s also some nsfw bits in the description of some of these)
1.) (Slipping And Sliding, TOG)
Booker didn’t really have too many concerns brewing in his head as he sleepily squirmed around on his back under the beautiful blazing Hawaiian sun and aimlessly batted around the idea of joining in with everybody but Yitzhak on their completely naked sunbathing idea or asking Lykon, Andy, or Joe more questions about the only immortal teammate he hadn’t met yet with himself.
He was kinda leaning towards a No on both accounts. Well, maybe less so on the being naked around other people part.
(A lightly battered and deep fried in being handled ex-convict trama!Booker being the baby immortal of the poly!group just before he gets to meet an also very immortal and huminoid at times but shapeshifting kraken Nile for the first time! As you can imagine, I’m planning on him getting to be lovingly, tenderly, and very consensually getting tentacle dicked down by Nile)
2.) (When A Curse Isn’t Really A Curse, TOG)
In retrospect, Booker could absolutely identify the moment that he had fucked up and stuffed a massive hairball into his first unnatural life beyond his original one’s wildest nightmares two hundred and fifty years ago.
He could also firmly think, if not say that he regretted the terrible things he had done and tried to steal from the admittedly pretty brave black female soldier that had turned out to be both a witch and another alpha when she had snuck back from the rear end of Napoleon's army all those years ago in order to cut Booker’s frozen and feebly reviving body down from the gallows that he had been hanged and killed on.
Booker could sure as shit meow his tattered little heart out about it into the world, though.
(Another one of my unpublished goes at Omegaverse!TOG with an all alpha crew and a lot of slowly growing animal transformation curses, magical road trips, humour, and Booker and Nile having a Lovers To Enemies Back To Lovers Again moment. It also features Andy as the unlucky lady who got cursed by an entirely different witch and who was Booker’s steed as the notorious man eatting french mare Lisette back in the day, since that whole story just seems SO Andy. I actually have the first chapter of this completed! Might turn into Booker/Andy/Nile)
3.) (Not Exactly Shocking, MCU)
Steve already knew that his mom probably wouldn’t probably be shocked that he and Natasha could find two exceptionally beefy pretty boys to date and eventually become one of the horniest, Jewish, and trans as fuck foursomes to ever make the absolutely horrific racist and homophobic antisemites of New York pee themselves just a little.
(Or a lot.)
(Just started working on this today, actually, with a modern day fully trans!Quartet of Natasha Romanoff/Sam Wilson/Steve Rogers/Bucky Barnes getting together with each other for the first time. Absolutely inspired by that cute fucking skit where that guy has the Grindr sound as his text alert for his buddy so he can match make for him, but with the that these four would absolutely take somebody carrying out an injustice as beating the shit out of somebody rallying cry/mating call)
I had so much fun with this! ❤ I’d love to tag @aimmyarrowshigh , @possumwoodpie , and @flamingo-queen-writes with this, but no pressure either way!

15 Questions!!! (or in this case -> 25)
Thankie to both @carrotblr , @legiomiam , and @awritingcaitlinfor the tags!
I'm doing this all in one go bc if I don't, I'm gonna completely forget
Carrot's 15 ->
Are you named after anyone? yep! my middle name references my great gran
When was the last time you cried? hahahahaaaAAAAAAAA
Do you have kids? depends? none of my own genetics, but more OCs than i can list… plus a couple of pseudo-adopted kiddos i became con-parent to
Do you use sarcasm a lot? Noooooo, never in my life have i ever 🥰
What’s the first thing you notice about people? vibes or hair color
What’s your eye color? 👓
Scary movies or happy endings? i really don’t do well with suspense, sooooo typical horror ain’t my strong suit??? lets just say my friends don’t take me to those anymore, but if we’re talking just my preference in endings, i’m only care if it was a satisfying conclusion that goes with the storyline. [by satisfying i mean did the story go through a full arc]
Any special talents? i’ve been told i do??? a current list includes but apparently isn’t limited to: archery, socializing [apparently???], having a random assortment of facts on any given hyperfixation i’ve had, tripping over royalty, and reading really fast while being slow as shit at typing
Where were you born? hell, not quite sure which lvl tho… 4 maybe?
What are your hobbies? what do i not have as a hobby? rn it’s renaissance recreation that is NOT ren faire and embroidery/textiles
Have you any pets? 3 cats, 1 doggo, and a fish
What sports do you play/have played? swimming, volleyball, and period archery are/were the ones i compete(d) in, but i also did boffer fighting as a kid
How tall are you? high end of average??? i grew really fast at a young age tho, so i towered over my elementary/middle school classmates. kept getting mistaken for an adult at 12 y/o
Favorite subject in school? SCIENCE
Dream job? i also would love to be a bestselling author, but becoming a novel editor would be fun too. the one i’m currently thinking of switching my major to - as i’m currently in the english dep with a focus in creative writing - is psychiatric neurology??? it’s always been fascinating to me especially after my way late audhd diagnosis
Legiom & Caitlyn's 10 ->
1. Do you prefer owls, capybaras, or flamingos?
OWLS! SKY CATS! i totally didn’t have a hyperfixation on ornithology with a focus in raptors as a kid… did you know an owl’s feathers are different from a hawks? the hawk’s wing feathers have ‘hooks’ that hold their feathers together? most birds have that feature in their feathers - it’s why the strands of individual flight feathers can be hard to break up, but owls don’t have such strong ones! owls also have small structures fluffing up from their flight feathers, and both of these features breaks up the air currents around their wings, not only allowing for near silent flight but also incredibly slow speeds - barn owls can glide as slow as 2 miles or 3.22 km per hour! there are variations of course —
2. What is your favorite soup?
uuuuhhh, does stew count as a soup??? if so, then there was this really great guinness based lamb stew i had in a small hole in the wall in ireland during my semester there
3. What is your favorite…rock (idfk)?
carnelian? or jade? the real pale kind?
4. Choose a familiar:
- very dumb, very loving disobedient dog. He loves you but will never listen to you ever
- a raven that speaks but it only ever shrieks the name of various fast food restaurants
- a toad that screams like a teenage boy instead of croaks
BIRB
5. Which planet do you feel like would be kind of an asshole if you met them?
Jupiter. definitely.
[i totally wasn’t going to make a uranus joke, nope, not meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee]
6. if you were a worm would you love me? (ah yes me I did this)
depends on what kind of worm you became and whether or not i know it’s you
7. Least favorite type of clothing?
itchy ones.
8. You are now in a horror movie—so sorry. Chance of survival?
50/50 cause i’m an absolute dumbass. i’d either die immediately or out-dumb the villain.
9. Would you rather: the ability to instantly grow a perfect mustache, or ability to talk to vegetables?
mustache. a) it’s prime comedy and disguise material and b) i could not eat any veggies if i could hear them.
10. What do you think of whales?
THE BABIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEES
Feel free to answer any combination of the above questions! Sorry, if you've already been tagged:
@clockworkgalaxies @faelanvance @saltwaterbells @saphoblin @moonscribbler
Have fun!!!

15 Mutuals, 15 (+ bonus) Questions
Tagged by @space-cadead. I'm woefully out of the loop with how active most of my mutuals are, so if you see this, it's an open invitation to participate yourself!
Questions after read more for the sake of everyone's dashboard:
1. Are you named after anyone?
Both my given and middle name are for my maternal great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. However, the name I find more interesting is what I wasn't named. See, my grandad loved the name Vincent. Even had it tattooed on him, and would have named his first-born son Vincent. Except he had two daughters. So he made my mum promise that if she had a son, she would name him Vincent...and I didn't come with a bio penis so I got a more feminine name instead. Given that I'm determined the family line dies with me, I don't think my grandad will be getting his 'descendant called Vincent' wish fulfilled, unless he doesn't mind a fictional Vincent in a future writing project? A book is kinda like a baby, right?
2. When was the last time you cried?
Probably December? Working retail at Christmas is really rough anywhere, but at a toy shop, it's very high pressure.
3. Do you have kids?
One very beloved tuxedo cat who is very happy to be an only child with no human siblings.
4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?
No, absolutely never. Not one single time in my whole life have I ever been sarcastic and sassy and I certainly don't have an entire t-shirt that claims that sarcasm is my second language. /s
5. What’s the first thing you notice about people?
Any major difference that they have that's 'unusual' compared to most people. I'm very faceblind so I tend to use things like hairstyle, clothing choices or voice to reliably recognise people...though most people can and will change those things on a regular basis. Personally, I love more outlandish styles and hair colours - it makes life much easier for me!
6. What’s your eye color?
Green/brown
7. Scary movies or happy endings?
Happy endings, but make them work for it.
8. Any special talents?
I don't really feel like I have a particular talent for anything. I have plenty of creative hobbies, but I feel like anything I can make is the result of lots of mistakes and practice and research. But I'm willing to try my hand at lots of things: resin craft, pixel art, photography, lampwork (glass), papercraft, sound mixing, video editing...I'm very much the jack of all trades. The difficulty is staying with something long enough to finish a larger project.
9. Where were you born?
Rural Wales. If you point out any castles, standing stones or ruined abbeys within a hundred miles or so, I've probably been there!
10. What are your hobbies?
Naturally writing, and all the aforementioned creative hobbies, but also gaming. Big fan of interesting narratives and puzzle-based games.
11. Have you any pets?
My problem child, Blackadder the cat, who is both very smart and very silly, so I think he lives up to his name well.
12. What sports do you play/have played?
I am very much not a sportsperson. In school, we were forced to play hockey and netball, but that was more years ago than I really want to admit...
13. How tall are you?
Somewhere a little taller than 150cm but not by that much.
14. Favorite subject in school?
I had an amazing Sociology teacher who loved challenging our expectations and showing us new cultures as best he could in a very rural Welsh school. His passion was truly infectious and I sincerely hope he's having an amazing life, wherever he is now.
15. Dream job?
Independently published (and moderately to wildly successful) author who is somehow entirely anonymous outside of their body of work.
16. Do you prefer owls, capybaras, or flamingos?
There are so many different species of owls that I'm going to go owls. There are tiny little Burrowing owls, huge European owls, or the silent graceful Barn owls we're more likely to see in the wild near me.
17. What is your favorite soup?
Maybe not technically a soup, but I make a damn good chilli chicken ramen if I do say so myself!
18. What is your favorite…rock (idfk)?
Blue John is a very particular mineral found close to some of my family members and when it's cut and polished it's got a very beautiful blue/purple crystal structure. I've been down a lot of the different mines where it has been found, so I have a bit of an appreciation of the history and how the discovery and sale of it has influenced the local area for the better.
19. Choose a familiar: 1) very dumb, very loving disobedient dog. He loves you but will never listen to you ever 2) a raven that speaks but it only ever shrieks the name of various fast food restaurants 3) a toad that screams like a teenage boy instead of croaks
Raven. I can never decide on what to eat, and I feel like this would be a lot easier if someone just shouted the answer at me.
20. Which planet do you feel like would be kind of an asshole if you met them?
Jupiter. Why have you got so many moons, huh? Why do we only get the one? Ours is lonely, I think she needs a girlfriend. I think at least one of Jupiter's moons would be happier over here.
21. if you were a worm would you love me? this worm question courtesy of ✨ @/legiomiam✨
No, but only because I think I would be beyond the capacity for emotions more complex than 'this dirt is so moist and delicious, this is amazing'.
22. Least favorite type of clothing?
High heels. I never learnt to walk in them, and I care about my comfort too much to want to learn now!
23. You are now in a horror movie—so sorry. Chance of survival?
On the one hand, I'm an anxious mess who can't handle watching many horror movies. On the other hand, I do cope with IRL crises well at the time and then panic later. And I am handy with power tools. So I think I'll just manage to survive the worst, manage to hunker down with any other survivors and just when I think we're safe and I'm distracted, that's when the horrors will get me.
24. Would you rather: the ability to instantly grow a perfect mustache, or ability to talk to vegetables?
Moustache. Take my 'what is gender?' vibes to the next level. And I'm tired of shaving my pathetic little wispy one away. I don't mind the facial hair, I mind that it's patchy and inconsistent!
25. What do you think of whales?
They're just chilling out in the ocean in their family groups and singing long-distance conversations with each other and I think we could learn a lot from that.

@mieczlw s e n t : 1 4 & 2 8 from h e r e F O U R T E E N : computer home screen .
mostly it’s pictures of things he’s taken at random around the city, around his own home, the places he finds himself the most. most often these photos are hyper zoomed in to specific aspects, certain textures or patterns bucky finds have a kind of visual charm affecting positively on his mood. If it’s a person, rarely are they direct portraits or selfies, but again, varying parts of them like their eyes or hands, mouth, a wisp of hair. there is an element of bucky that was eschewed so far from any details of vibrant life that these are the examples of the small ways in how that manifests with him in the present; a fixation of photos hyper focusing on a detail of an object or person is one of them.
[ in this instance a good example specific to this verse; he would have endless rows of photos on his phone hyper zoomed in on stiles’ art, stiles’ hands, etc. ]
T W E N T Y - E I G H T : five most recently sent text messages . [ … ] – the signal just went dead
[ … ] – abort now
[ … ] I just want to make sure that no one is planning on bringing pink flamingos to Steve’s party. The man said he didn’t want them there, it’s his birthday and I feel like we should fucking honor that. He’s a goddamn hero, Samuel. - J. B. Barnes
[ … ] Please, just nothing with raw onions. - J. B. Barnes
[ … ] So fucking what if I sign my texts? It’s a message, isn’t it? A note? You’ve never signed a note in your life? Are you a barbarian, Stiles? - J. B. Barnes

Ohio Harry Potter shirt
“rooster heaven” with the assistance of a local coyote. The rooster I currently had, Gordon, was a sweet boy and was very happy to have Lance gone. Lance had been a fierce rooster who attacked literally every moving thing but the hens and me (displaying extreme good taste and discretion) and I was not prepared to live through as second several years of yet another “attack rooster”. Neither were the neighbor dogs. Nor were the neighbors, for that matter. I really didn’t think this would be a problem, as Delores was such a sweet rooster – showing no violence or aggression at all, and just wanted to sit on my shoulder (rather like a parrot) and look around. He’d snuggle against anyone’s neck or in anyone’s lap who would hold him and he adored being petted. Delores ran around digging for bugs in the lawn – but was just as happy sitting by the kitchen sink watching me trim vegetables or whatever. He made (as all my chickens did) a truce with the cats and was friends with the goats, horses and my other rooster, Gordon. They all slept together in the barn at night.

Nic and Dave’s sweet little home is full of wonderfully thrifted furnishings and treasures from their travels. It’s a wealth of savvy decorating ideas.
The kitchen is tiny and they don’t have room for all their plates and dishes so they have an old German medicine cabinet just outside the kitchen that does the job perfectly.
The table was stolen from Nic’s mum, the Tulip chairs were salvaged from the trash, so they sanded them down and had them repainted by a car painter. The other chairs were Dave’s parents. They reupholstered them and added cushions.
The cupboard was also Nic’s mum’s. She’s planning on painting it and lining the panels with wallpaper.
A new kitchen is next on the agenda, mainly driven by the fact that they’re longing for a dishwasher.
The totem is from Bali. The stool was made for Nic by a friend for her 16th birthday.
The ‘bon’ sign is from Paris. The painting is one of Nic’s own – a present to Dave during a bout of unemployment. Nic had been on the hunt for a coffee table for 2 years when she found this one. It’s a barn table from Belgium that she found in a shop.
Dave was nursed in that chair as a baby, and they had it reupholstered. The bookcase is an Ikea special. The candlestick was nabbed from a friends wedding (with permission!). The Amish stars were bought at Green Flea Market in New York.
The mirror frame was bought in Bali and glazed in the UK. It rests on a bamboo console. Nic got tired of it being natural so painted it flamingo coral. Art Deco cabinet was bought from a junk shop and painted and distressed by them.
The wall light is a cherry blossom branch. The wardrobe was picked up from a London junk shop. The console table was rescued from a nursing home.
The paneled wooden wall in the guest room is what made them want to buy the house. The day bed was an eBay find when eBay was still cheap. Nic bought it as a student.
Another example of how beautiful a thrifted home can be.
