Watched an old obscure Japanese horror movie
Everything that happens is fucked up but the acting kinda goofy and the effects are bad so it mostly balanced it all out LOL

Just as light is a universal force, it manifests in countless forms, adapting its energy to endless possibilities. Those willing to embrace it can harness this power, regardless of their moral compass—whether through the wonders of magic, the rigor of science, or any other avenue of exploration. Darkness, too, possesses a similar nature; it lurks in the shadows, ready to weave its own narrative of influence, a seductive force that beckons the curious, promising secrets and power. Wherever these two forces intertwine, a solitary, corrupted figure, a being twisted by the very forces they sought to control, is never far behind.
It's what led them to this world. The corrupted light hung upside down from one of the rusted street lamp posts just outside Boundless Blaze, savoring the last few puffs of his cigarette. The smoke curled gracefully into the air as Sora, in stark contrast, contemplated the darkness infecting this world; he could practically smell it around him, all while reading the latest issue of the Rindu Newsletter.
'This place is like those silly movies you like to watch.'
"Mad Max is a classic; you can't diss the Road Warrior."
'And yet this world has been touched by a terrible darkness… Good enough to eat.'
"Hmm, we could grab a bite to eat. Lots of good aromas 'round here. I dunno where to start…"
'I'd like to see why they call it Boundless Blaze.'
"Flamebroiled or grilled - I'll devour a heart roasted on a spit."
Engaging in conversations with oneself often leads to whispers of madness, yet the despondent keyblade wielder embraced this 'solitary' dialogue with a carefree spirit.
Because there was a voice that responded back.
The relentless grip of hunger announced itself through booming growls from his abdomen and the pooling of saliva in his mouth, a stark reminder of his need for sustenance. He surveyed the expansive, desolate landscape before him—a barren wasteland with untapped potential as a new hunting ground, but also a stark reminder of his isolation. But careful reconnaissance was essential before he could indulge in the possibilities that lay ahead. Starting with this rust bucket of a town would be a good start.
Sora's nose twitches at the delightful scent of a strong heart, his ears perk up at the symphony of its healthy, willful beatings, and a glowing scarf, red like the sun, catches his eyes from the corner of his eyes. There was no point in trying to be sneaky when direct eye contact was made. Silence. An uncomfortable stillness hung in the air, the moment's weight palpable as their gazes locked in a tense exchange. Suddenly, Sora broke the silence, letting out a deep, rumbling chuckle that echoed ominously. Thick, acrid smoke billowed from his flared nostrils, curling upward in ghostly tendrils, while a sly smirk danced across his lips, hinting at a hidden amusement but also a dangerous edge.
"Howdy. Just hanging around, stranger. Pun intended."
Tumblr media
Friend? Foe? Lunch? Snack? Indigestion? Only one way to find out...
And just what was with this guy?
Their gazes met and what was met immediately tilted to the point of concerning. Blazewood was a proud, old town, hanging strong with order despite the inherent lawlessness that would find delight in plucking it dry, to leave it as desolate as the sands around it. Lighter, since becoming the Champion of the Calydon gang tilted into being a de facto protector of sorts. He was the reason that many can come to rest their heads easily. It was a heavy title.
Heaviness that runs similar to the scarf that holds as his insignia. Instinct told him to be wary, and it wasn't just due to how to their dismissal of the smoke ran similar to a dragon. A honed edge tells him one thing, decorum reminds him to remain welcoming irregardless. That edge of baritone finds itself almost complimenting the cigarette smoke as Lighter seizes that moment to give more direct attention. "Doesn't look as if it's merely just hanging."
His eyebrow immediately raises once Sora's stomach finds that moment to reflect its intent. The way it growled worked as a pitiable sight. Well, it would be if this person's acrobatic balance wasn't on display. Seeing them remain upside down, likely dealing with a head of rushing blood while taking a drag? Eccentric would be putting it lightly this character's case. 'Not to mention, people have been getting a little unnerved. A combination of those actions would have anyone wondering if they're a little 'loopy.'
Tumblr media
"You must be someone that's pretty free." Either that or merely someone who doesn't take to the smaller social cues. Thankfully, weirdos aren't some old aged deal for Calydon's finest. He'd just heed the inner warnings, keeping distant while scouting them out. "Going by your own beat, and even ignoring your stomach's no less? Why aren't you dropping by Cheestopia to help yourself out?"
Even with this more serious undercurrent, that hadn't stopped a huff from escaping the biker as a faint smile laces his lips. "If you're gonna be the residential scarecrow for hire, y'might just need the energy."

op is absolutely flamebroiling it with this one
NATLA should hire Zukka writers we know wtf is up with the plot better than anyone else. It's just facts. We have to do gymnastics to write a convincing slowburn and make Zuko actually likeable and lovable for Sokka.

1804: George Sand (Histoires de Parfums)
The subjective nature of scent can override even the most detailed fragrance brief. Gérald Ghislain can explain to me six ways to a Sunday why 1804 is a portrait of George Sand. I will nod and smile and not budge one inch from my belief that it's really about Paul Gauguin. I'm not the only one to reach this conclusion, but as my father used to quip come household chore time, This ain't no democracy, honey.
I'm not sure why Ghislain would associate Sand with tropical fruit, but I concede that if I had to smell like fruit at all, tropical would be the way to go. In fact, all my memories of living on Maui seem to feature fruit-- bountiful and everpresent, in all the colours of a Fauvist rainbow.
In our little upcountry town, my housemates and I had only to step outside each morning to pick fresh bananitos (apple bananas) for breakfast. Going for a walk, I might freely pluck an avocado or a handful of lilikoi (passionfruit) from a curbside tree if I felt peckish. Staggering numbers of ripe clementines glowed like tiny orange lanterns in a neighbor's tree; he welcomed us all to invade his front yard and pick as much as we liked. Nature was generous-- why not he?
Generous, too, was the produce manager at the health food market where I worked. Island farmers arrived daily to bring him locally-grown organic fruits and vegetables, and each new shipment called for an impromptu taste-test. We sampled sweet pink "strawberry" papayas as well as the yellow-fleshed, bilious native variety. We nibbled slices of mellow cherimoya, carambolas (starfruit), and kiwi, and let guava and tamarillo juices run down our chins. I looked wistfully on as Jeff passed around cubes of fragrant fresh mango, to which I've always been severely allergic. As for lychees, I didn't know until I ate my first one that I'd have to chase it with six Benadryl in order to keep breathing. (Those few minutes before my throat closed over? So worth it.)
One of our vendors was an elderly Japanese couple who grew the most astonishing pineapples-- tiny, hand-sized honey grenades bursting with golden nectar. They sold us only one crate at a time, each flawless fruit carefully nestled its own bed of straw. One day I plucked up the courage to tell them - in the only Japanese I knew - that their pineapples were dai ichi (number one, the best). Faces creased with pleasure, they selected a single gemlike pineapple from their crate and presented it to me with a bow. Believe me, my bow was deeper still.
Though pineapples are not native to Hawai'i, they thrive in the rich loam of this volcanic archipelago. Each fruit is a self-contained chemical laboratory where acid (citric/malic), sugar (fructose/glucose), ester (ethyl butyrate) and enzyme (bromelain) create miraculous harmony. When subjected to heat (on a grill, or at the ground floor of an upside-down cake), the sugars in pineapple readily caramelize, breaking down all boundaries between tart and sweet and revealing the fruit's syrupy, liqueur-like attributes.
This melting quality figures large in 1804, a fragrance suffused with equatorial heat. Mitsouko subjected the simple peach to a flamebroil; 1804 ups the ante by adding pineapple and a shot of Charbay vanilla rum for a full-on, righteous flambé. If this sounds a bit de trop, be forewarned that it will segue into a dewy gardenia chord designed to hypnotize you into a state of hammock-swinging lassitude. This is not the perfume to wear when you've got a lengthy to-do list waiting. (If, however, your plans include a two-hour nap on a shady lanai....)
But all this leads me once again to question the logic of this perfume's name. No writer as mercurial and rigorous as George Sand would have endorsed so heavy-limbed a name brand-- and no one as enamored of male privilege would have wished to give the game away with so blatantly femme a scent. I imagine her instead roaming through the park at Nohant whilst wearing a stylish fougère, or a brisk West Indian bay rum appropriated from her estranged spouse...
On the other hand, Paul Gauguin -- grandson of Sand's frenemy, the feminist Flora Tristan -- filled canvas after canvas with worshipful images of the Polynesian feminine ideal. To him should go this soft, rounded, luscious perfume-- and to Sand, maybe a bottle of YSL Nuit de l'Homme?
Scent Elements: Pineapple, peach, gardenia, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, cloves, sandalwood, patchouli, benzoin, vanilla, musk

Tonight’s meal was a reverse seared bone in prime ribeye from @eatschuchmannmeat. It’s served with a twice baked potatoes and steamed broccoli. Fantastic meal!! The sear part of this cook was fun! I rarely have a fire like this when grilling steaks. It used @grillgrates to deflect them. It was seasoned with @opbbqrelief Santa Maria seasoning. #ribeye #boneinribeye #primeribeye #steak #flamebroiled #fire #cowboyribeye #tomahawksteak #beef #twicebakedpotato #broccoli #eatschuchmannmeat #fogocharcoal #grillgrates #kickashbasket #kamadojoe #kj #kamadojoenation #firesquad (at Southern Hills) https://www.instagram.com/p/CWPdTSOpO8c/?utm_medium=tumblr

Because the Charizard in the first movie didn't have a cool, fun nickname (thanks Ash), I had to come up with one on my own. I think this one is appropriate. #pokemongo #yesistillplay #fuckyou #finallycaughtacharizard #flamebroiler
