I can barely begin to express how much the course of my life has been altered because of a 40 minute highlight video done by @jelloapocalypse and friends riffing over a 20 year old sky pirate game.

I made an off-handed comment after watching it together with two of my longtime friends, about how much I wish I had what Vyrsa had, and one of those friends STRAIGHT-UP TELLS ME that her and her wife have been crushing on me for a while.

The feeling was mutual, though I'd been of course hesitant to even hint at it.

Anyway now a few months later, we're a thruple, and we decided to honor the genesis of our relationship by cosplaying as the trio that made it a reality for my 30th birthday!

PinkCatNinja, me (CatComixzStudios), and ArtieStokes as Aika, Vyce Vyrsa, and Fina respectively, from SKIES OF ARCADIA!

OMW Look, someone on TikTok made this edit😱. For those who don't know what the red lines on top Mr. Sheng's head are, it's a reference to the ongoing South Korean fantasy thriller drama S-Line. Those red lines that appear on someone's head represent the number of people they have slept with (body count)

We know Mr. Sheng has taken 32 Omegas to bed. But our cunning Enigma doesn't have even a single red line. Does this mean he's never taken any lovers and has truly only been waiting for Mr. Sheng (is that what OP is trying to say?😭) As handsome, rich, powerful and well sought after as he is, he's never, not once thought to take someone to bed? He must have been truly suffering during every rut (as far as I know, an Enigma's rut is far more intense and powerful than an Alpha's).

Is it that his human side wasn't the only one that fell in love at first sight? Could it be that his Enigma (even while dormant then) truly imprinted on Mr. Sheng (if imprinting exists in this Omegaverse) and recognized him as its mate the first time they met all those years ago, so he can't even think of another in a sexual way?

Imagine the terrible yearning he's been feeling all these years not even having someone with him at least physically. I don't blame him for locking in this time. I hope he gets his man soon.

I've been meaning to advertise my etsy shop for months now so I'm just gonna do it. I have mainly stickers but also a few prints and zines. I have Red vs Blue stuff, Star Trek stuff, some original things and I'm constantly working on making and adding more.

I also just ordered the Go Red/Blue team stickers that I've been planning on doing since the beginning of the year and some more Trek stickers like Garak, Kirk and Spock. :D I'll add them to the shop as soon as I get them.

Hey everyone! this is where the zebra is currently with the design.

It has knee braces!! I will most probably be drawing the zebra usually with them on, but it’s no requirement, for example if anyone else wants to draw the zebra :-]. I always like to make sure an animal design has official colors underneath any clothing and accessory anyway. I think this will be final! thank you everyone for your feedback!

As a reminder, aside from why the zebra was requested for this flag, this is also just a zebra with the disability pride flag on it. It’s just a deisgn to fit the flag, with input from other disabled people in our community. It doesn’t mean other animals can’t have designs with these colors, too! I don’t mean this design to be the only mascot for all disabled people. It’s just a silly series i do of pride animals, and at the time, during disability pride month, I wanted to see what everyone wanted me to start off with for this flag!

the goal with my pride animals is to take requests and make people feel happy and seen.. that’s all <:-)

Voice actors are NOT the same as actors.

It takes a specific kind of skill-set and training to be able to warp and meld the voice. It takes a certain kind of talent and dedication to hone that talent into the ability to meld the voice and invoke emotion with one's voice alone. Actors are used to using their voice secondarily to their body language and their facial expressions. It's all mirrored back on camera. They do have nuance. But it's a different kind of nuance and a different kind of training to produce that nuance.

Voice actors might get their likeness transposed on their character's design, and maybe their mannerisms might seep into the character's animation. But when it's all said and done: their presence is in their voice. They are bringing a character to life, showing that emotion in their voice, trying to keep a specific accent, drawl, pitch, tone in that voice and keep it consistent for their recording sessions.

The voice actor is like a classically trained musician who can play first chair in a competitive, world-renown orchestra. The actor (who fills the voice actor's role) is like a moot who played violin in beginner and intermediate high school orchestra and thinks they can get into Juilliard with that 2-4 years of experience.

This doesn't mean that the HS orchestra moot can't play. They can even be really good at it. Maybe they won competitions and sat first chair. But they are not in the same league as the person who's been training their whole lives and lives and breathes to hone their craft using the instrument and all of the training they've ever acquired to perfect it. They are not meant for the same roles. They are not in the same caliber. You do not hire the HS equivalent when you want to play complex music in a competitive orchestra.

Actors are not the same as voice actors.

And furthermore, actors - especially big name actors - taking the roles of animated characters for big budget films or TV pilots makes no sense anyways when - at least in the case of TV pilots - there's not a point to hiring a big budget actors anyways. That money could be used elsewhere (like paying your animators), and the talent that is brought onto the screen for X character could then be hired on to voice said character no recasting required.

I wouldn't say voice acting as a profession is in danger exactly, but it's certainly being disrespected and overlooked for celebrity clout, and this has ALWAYS been an issue. Shoot, even Robin Williams knew that much - which is why he tried so hard not to be used as a marketing chess piece for Aladdin and got royally pissed off when it happened anyways. People shouldn't go to any movie (but especially not animated films) because "oh famous actor is in it". People should go because it's a good movie and the voice acting is good.

People who honest to god think that voice actors are replaceable because "oh well anyone can voice act" or "I like xyz celebrity so naturally it'll be good" ... Honestly I just wish you'd reassess your priorities because you're missing the point and are part of the problem.

Voice Actors ≠ Actors.

i really love zayne’s character. he means the world to me. i love how gentle his love can be and how close he holds it to his heart.

at first glance, it’s easy to conclude that he’s a man of few words, and fewer emotions. he doesn’t smile often, nor does he laugh, but when he’s with you, he can’t help but let the joyful rush of being next to someone he loves overtake him.

he’s witty, playful, at times even cruel in how he cares for you. he is both unyielding and overly willing when it comes to you. he steals kisses and buys you flowers. he teases you, delightful when your overconfidence falters and your stubborn frustration shines through. he speaks sweetly to you, indulges your extravagance and whimsy, but doesn’t let your naïveté cloud your decisions.

he’s the eye and the storm. blindly he crashes into and through you, before stealing those tranquil moments of a calm embrace. he’s the assurance of a quieter sky come morning.
