Conservative anchorman Rob Schmitt lost it on Wednesday night on his Newsmax show when he found out about a gay flag football team sponsored by the Buffalo Bills. During a segment called “News From the Left,” Schmitt announced that “finally, when you thought you could escape all the Pride Month propaganda by watching football, apparently not, the Buffalo Bills is the latest NFL franchise supporting a new National. Gay. Flag. Football League! What?!” On Tuesday, the Buffalo Bills of New York state issued a statement announcing their sponsoring a local Gay Flag Football League in Buffalo. “We are thrilled to bring inclusive flag football to Buffalo with the support of the Buffalo Bills. This exciting addition joins 27 other cities, and over 4,000 players, including straight allies, in the National Gay Flag Football League,” said NGFFL Commissioner Joel Horton in a press release.

After all that unpleasantness with brunch, the gang needs to work out some of their stress. They debate briefly before the women challenge the men to a game of flag football.

For those that don't know, in flag football there is no tackling. Instead, players wear detachable flags around their waist. Once both flags are removed, it counts as a tackle. There's more but that's the basic thing to know.

Anyway, the Merchant sells them all the required equipment (adjusted for any extreme height differences) and the men start practicing, trying to determine which seven would have the best chance against the women...

Just won a 4v4 game of flag football. We won 10 to 6.

This summer I had joined a womens flag football team as just something to do to create new social connections and stay active and have fun..

It initially was alright. I enjoyed learning the sport, going to practice, being social and out the house.

Then the girls got weird. I was excluded from group chat, things they did, I wasn't put into games, wasn't being acknowledged at practice.

I'm quiet and don't say much but I join in on the conversation and try to be involved. It backfired and was a bad experience in the end. Makes me not wanna participate in group activities again honestly. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Hate that weird mean girl energy. We are grown. 🙄

While it was very close, the men might have had a weak link or two which may have ended up costing them the match.

The women gloat and celebrate an appropriate amount (a lot) while the men quietly leave the field.

This is honestly kind of a pipe dream, but in the hypothetical event that the NFL ever changes its rules to flag football or whatever, the ideal "football player's build" would probably go from big and burly to nimble and agile. It'd be interesting to see.
