doing a fl4k playthrough all the way finally (and having tons and tons of fun with them! wish i woulda done sooner bcuz i love them and i love broodless)

i can only assume that when they met amara, moze, and zane, after getting to know them more and more, they adopted them

not like a "you are my pack now uwu" but more like a "you are my pack, now wear the maid outfit" kinda thing lmfao

it was stated as a fact, as fl4k IS the alpha.

tbh i just want to see them give headpats to all of their human friends bcuz social expectations are a little hard to grasp

Writing an AU Gummigoo and plotting him out is so fun because my first thought was I shit you not letting him go interdimensional travel and he wants to learn to be real (and turns into a real croc at one point)

but to hide the fact that he is a gummi candy croc..

he dressed similarly to FL4K.

Like I imagine he goes full on Gunslinger/Bounty Hunter with somewhat similar clothing just to hide his identity

and he becomes this nigh invincible / intimidating motherfucker because he has never reacted to getting injured because you know

he's not real, he can't bleed, he can't scar, he can't go through PHYSICAL pain, he's got no receptors to nerve damage or pain, he's still a piece of gummy candy.

So the main whole he's stayin in, he's FEARED like big time, no one fucks with him, because he's just never seemed like he was in pain or anything.

I imagine he becomes real and starts dressing lightly again (Keeps the pants, wears this black poncho, got the red scarf on him over top, got the holster, and the Belt + straps and these sick ass fingerless gloves and steampunk-esque cowboy boots on top of his signature cowboy hat and he just)

finds his way back to The Digital Circus just to verbally assault the shit out of Caine for doing that to him and

Caine can't get rid of him. He's real. He's 100% bonafide real. He can't even bear to stay here so he just reunites with Pomni before forcing Caine to open a portal back into the Candy Kingdom

because he's going back for his two mates and he's taking them with him this time.

Do FI4k and Zer0 have a favorite "date" destination? - i imagine anywhere on pandora, mostly because they both have history with it and also its a location they both could agree on. plus zero has that one line in bl3 about missing pandora (and it's also just a planet where a lot of. well. murder happens)

What we don't allow, are ships which go against characters' canon sexualities. So absolutely not shipping Athena with men or Hammerlock with women

We don't allow ships with underage characters and incestous ships. There are only 2 underage characters in Borderlands (Pickle and Ava), but our experience in fandoms have verified to us that we need to be clearly against it

We are not proshippers and we are against proshipping

As of Borderlands , Tina is an adult (she's 20) but we won't reblog romantic art of her during BL2 or Wonderlands

Gaige is 18 in Borderlands 2 and 25 in Borderlands 3. She's an adult

Angel is also an adult. As infantilization of her is extremaly prevalent in this fandom, we want to state, we're against it and we won't reblog any art which will portray her in such way

We will also not reblog any art that will misgender neither Zer0 nor FL4K. FL4K canonically uses only they/them pronouns and as for Zer0, we will only refer to them as they/them

Ships with Timothy, Rhys and Jack are welcome! But within each other, the only ship that is a crackship is Rhysothy, so we will only reblog them

The only characters who aren't allowed are Vaughn and Katagawa Jr. Just because

Crossover ships, as in from different franchises like Portal or Postal, are welcome!

However, we won't reblog art of OC/canon and self ships. We realize that some people might not like this term and calling their OCs like so and we don't want to be disrespectful. We will only reblog the art, if OP will send it to us and give us permission to post it

here's why everyone should vote for Motoko Kusanagi.

so depending on the adaptation...

- she struggles with not knowing if she's human or entirely synthetic but decides to become a digital consciousness that can't possibly be considered human. (imo this is what makes her the most fuckable)

- can inhabit multiple bodies ;)

- if you have the right ports you can link your senses and feel what each other feels layered over your own senses

- she's ridiculously strong, if she can rip the hatch open on a tank just imagine what she can do to you

- philosophical and introspective, will have you questioning your sense of self while you experience multiple orgasms *simultaneously*

- did I mention she can inhabit multiple bodies? and they don't even necessarily have to be humanoid? you wanna fuck a tank? a satellite? (pls also vote for JWST)

If I have to suffer with this thought yall do too Fl4k is a several hundred-year-old robot, and they're probably going to live for a couple hundred more. That means their going to have to watch everyone they know around them die. All of their pets and friends that theyve made throughout bl3 are going to die. Theyll probably make new friends but they'll still loose their current ones, and can you imagine how lonely and sad they'll be after??

I want to be explicitly clear here because I've seen some vague posts that felt like words were being put in my mouth:

My point here is not "characters without gender should be perfectly androgynous"

My point is "in a sci-fi universe with a huge variety in character's genders and presentations and where this has next to no bearing on their social or professional status, a character without sex or gender and very little physical description would not necessarily have entirely masculine features and I think the large trend of it being imagined this way is rooted in misogyny and in particular, the assumption that men are more suited to fighting and protecting.

And this isn't just about fanart, when I see people talking about the books (irl or online), they will (often without even realizing it) switch to using he/him pronouns instead of it/its. The exact same thing happens with Fl4k from Borderlands and seeing as both Fl4k and Murderbot are played by cis men now, I don't think anyone is attacking the idea of Murderbot looking like a man. It has very little physical description and also is a fictional character so people can discuss and imagine it however they want. For these reasons however, I personally appreciate the rare occasions where I see it depicted with androgynous or even feminine features."

But y'know that was a lot more than I wanted to say in a post where I was just expressing my love for some fanart I had seen that day.

when people draw murderbot as androgynous like it is described in the books instead of just defaulting to entirely masculine features: do you know I would die for you?

What do you think is the most underrated robot character?

Honestly that’s hard for me to answer because I’m extremely picky about the kinds of robots I like in the first place LMAO. Most of the ones I like have a decent enough love base for them!

A few robot types I like in the mix include humanoid but still inorganic (ex: canti from flcl, chappie, fl4k from borderlands), little guy who could be a household appliance, cuddly round fella (ex: baymax of course!), and fuck all huge industrial guys who just want to do their job but could obliterate a city if they decided to lol (ex: those giant versions of wall-e in that garbage pit. Imagine if they rebelled)

Hmmm. I can’t really think of any actually underrated robots off the top of my head to be honest! but I think an underrated concept for making robots designs is big scary guy who has lots of funny little guys for friends where the household toaster is like bffs with the terminator. I think it’s really awesome when a cute little guy turns out to be the bestie or part of something much more dangerous, but the scary guy just likes the little ones and cares for them

(Y/n) sighed as she watched Fl4k from the side of Moxxi's bar. There was something about the mysterious beastmaster that made her attracted to them, but she didn't know what.

She'd tried to let them know about her feelings. A flirty smile here, a playful lean on the shoulder there, but they either didn't acknowledge or straight up ignored her advances. She was getting frustrated.

Suddenly, Moxxi appeared beside (Y/n) and poured her another drink. "What's got you looking so down?"

(Y/n) frowned and motioned to Fl4k, who was now feeding his pet skag some scraps. Moxxi tutted and pushed (Y/n)'s hair back a bit. "Fl4k? Honey, they're just about oblivious as a baby. You need to let them know how you feel. Fl4k isn't a mind reader. Here, take an extra shot on the house for confidence."

(Y/n) downed her drink and stood up, muttering her thanks to Moxxi. When she reached the tall vault hunter, she felt her face catch on fire. "Hello, Fl4k. How was your day?"

"Excellent." They replied, then motioned to their skag. "I watched my beast decapitate a COV with a single bite. It was amusing."

"Right." She laughed awkwardly. "Hey, would you mind walking out to the main deck with me? I'm pretty sure some Varkids got in and I need help dealing with them."

"It would be my pleasure, (Y/n)."

(Y/n) shook her head and faced Fl4k, placing her hand on their shoulder. "You really are oblivious, aren't you? I like you, Fl4k. Like, I'm interested in you romantically. I've been dropping hints and they go unnoticed. Either that, or you're ignoring them."

It was silent for a moment. Just when she turned to leave, Fl4k gently put a hand on her shoulder. "I feel the same way about you, (Y/n). Would you like to accompany me on my next mission?"

"I would love to."

How did Fl4k's pets first react to Zer0? Did they take time to warm up to them? Did they just decide they liked them immediately?

i think mr chew likes everyone (he is ouppy) so aside from that the other two probably took more time to warm up ... especially broodless i think. she is probably more loyal to specifically fl4k and only really tolerates other people so i imagine it took a bit more time for her to warm up to zer0

Fl4k acts all serious and cool but if you give them an animal video compilation they will freeze in place and stand there watching the entire thing and not react to anything happening around them

bonus pre-sleep idea:

deep sea exploration. 

the vault hunters of borderlands 3 land on an ocean world to explore the rumors of yet another vault. 

the problem, there’s virtually no land. so, a smaller ship is used, besides the droppods, as they were not suitable for this mission. thankfully, this ship can hold all four of them, and they don’t have to leave it often. 

as it dives below the waves, there’s this sense of... something being wrong. and just in case a something went wrong, there was a bit of a plan. planets with oxygen problems needed O2 kits, so that’s what had been brought. except they had been modified to last a tad longer, and could hook up to their ship for a recharge. (don’t ask me how i’m not a science bro)

+these O2 kits were more adapted for the deeper seas, meaning the user won’t be crushed to death so long as it was active. 

long story short, there’s a vault in them there waters, and things absolutely go wrong! fl4k being the one without lungs basically has to make sure their oxygen needing friends get oxygen. oh boy do they gotta breathe! humans, so fragile. 

then they fight a giant ass sea jelly, the vault monster.
