My favorite thing to do is to pick one of my favorite characters and then re-read a bunch of the canon and a bunch of fanfiction.

I especially like re-reading the canon out of order, so it's like I'm time traveling through canon with my favorite character!

... I also enjoy re-reading my own fanfiction. Especially if it's something I wrote, say, ten years ago.

It feels like time travel.
