My shell collection since I got over my huge fear of the ocean this year

The one that opens and closes (most of then did too but broke) I got when I went profesional scuba diving :D

I had like this huge fear where if I saw a fish i would quite literally go out of the water immedietly and have cried because a fish got too close so uh I decided to be brave this year and signed up to go diving with a profesional. Best choice of my life. I almost had a panic attack on the way there but oh my god I cant put into words how beautiful that was. There were so many colorful fishies and I even saw an octopus!! I did scream when it shot black ink but uh...shhh!!....anyway i also saw it changing colour that was like the best experience of my life. Beautiful. Next year im taking a 5 day course and getting a certificate so I can go without an instructor :3 I'm very proud of myself for stepping out of my comfort zone and allowing myself to experience the beauty of the ocean

STORYTIME

When I was ~6 years old, my family and I were on a cruise ship to Alaska. My sister and I were the only kids on the entire boat so we got kind of a special treatment, meaning we got to meet the captain.

Anyways, the captain says something like “how’s the ship faring?” as a joke and I said in that raspy monotone voice that all autistic 6 years olds have, “good.. I’ve been taking my VitaminC so I don’t get scurvy”, and he began to laugh super hard. And I thought, what’s so funny…scurvy is a serious issue…

3 - What's your favourite all time pairing?

This is like...a really hard question because there are so many cannon and fannon ships that I absolutely ADORE, but I would say any ship that has angst potential like Eiji and Ash from Banana Fish! Even though I don't actually write a lot of Banana Fish fanfics, I might get to it when I have the time and when KiriBaku releases me from its death grip, haha!

22 - Least favourite fic trope?

Again, another tough one, but not as tough as the last question! I'm not the biggest fan of Enemies to Lovers. (Shhhh, don't tell anyone) But at the same time, I'd say it varies on how well it's executed because the only way I actually enjoyed it (somewhat) was in Marissa Meyer's Instant Karma book! Like, for reference, I don't like BakuDeku because of the fact that they would fall into that trope, making their ship rather toxic (IN MY OPINION!!) because of how much of a bully Bakugou was/is towards Midoriya. But if it's in more of an academical sense like Instant Karma, then it has some potential. This is the first one to come to mind, but if the question comes up again, I'll gladly give a different answer because there is most likely a better answer I can give!

24 - Funniest fandom related story?

Hmmm this is making search to the back of my brain...Oh! Now I remember. I had a friend (let's call them X) and we both would go to this skating group where our friends would just mess around on the ice—nothing too serious. But we got chatting and found out we both like MHA, so instead of properly skating, we just slid across the rink on our skates doing the bare minimum just yapping about everything and nothing when it comes to MHA. Our poor other friends just had to deal with the random "DIE", "DEKU, YOU DAMN NERD", "THAT'S NOT VERY PLUS ULTRA OF YOU" and many other phrases you'd hear in the show. Because of me actually being able to figure skate from past experience, I would sometimes just follow X around, doing an impression of the Season 1 Bakugou walk on ice with the use of my toe-picks. It was really fun despite the eye-rolls from other friends and now I'm not so sure if this is a funny story or not, but here we are!!

I use to get up fairly early in the morning to get myself some nice, fresh rolls from my next door bakery. My Hero Academia AU: Ambush Simulation

Aight, storytime:

So awhile back, I was thinking about Episodes 4 & 5 of the anime Soul Eater where the gang is tasked with capturing two villains, the zombie Sid and the guy who resurrected him, Professor Stein.  (There’s also the added stakes that if they fail in this task, they’ll be expelled from school.)  After a somewhat harrowing fight, defeating Sid and losing to Stein, the plot twist is this was never a real fight, Stein and Sid were not villains, and this whole thing was just a test that was orchestrated and sanctioned by the school and definitely skewed more toward hazing than actual education.

And I thought, what if that’s all the Vanguard Action Squad was during the Summer Camp Arc?  Just a test orchestrated by UA that skewed more toward hazing than actual education. (Note:  These are the traditional LoV members, so Muscular, Mustard, and Moonfish are not part of this line-up.) At the very least, that would probably be the meanest ruse Aizawa has pulled. And you can't tell me Principal Nezu wouldn't have been all in for this plan.

"Ambush Simulation" is playing off my earlier AU comic with Shigaraki being the adopted nephew of All Might and leading a pretty normal life.  The rest of the squad is more or less in the same boat. For context, Touya’s canon divergence is he returned home after the three-year comatose and actually stayed there, but since nothing about that household environment really changed, he’s still an unhinged mess, but that is a whole other kettle of fish best saved for another comic. (Clearly getting a kick out of the prospect of scaring a bunch of kids, including his brother, half to death, though.)  Toga’s home life is rocky at best after ‘the incident,’ but she’s no longer a runaway teen.  Everybody else just kinda fell in with each other.

Their role as a vigilante team was inspired by the series Durarara!, specifically Kadota and his crew for anyone who's familiar. I genuinely forgot the Vigilantes spinoff existed...sigh, it's been awhile and I only recently got back in this fandom. The Vanguard is pretty much living by a 'you're only in trouble if you get caught,' philosophy. (And the nepotism has probably saved all their asses a few times because it doesn't look good for the No. 2 Hero if his eldest son is busted for vigilantism.)

btw found out a while ago that i have a sort of xmen fan sleeper agent within me ??

got high w friends sat on the floor for hours researching something and afterwards i went on my phone to find multiple tabs of fanfiction open, four articles on queercoded xmen characters, three screenshots of the Wolverine (vol. 3) issue #6 cover in my photos (why did i need multiple?) along with a reddit post about the implications of said issue cover.

i hadn't watched any xmen stuff or read any new comics since i was like ten, plus when i do watch superhero stuff it's generally dc. so. also like 90% of the content i looked up was wolverine x nightcrawler which was not a ship i was even familiar with previously so idk why i gravitated to it subconsciously anyways that's all silly storytime OVER

Fishing Buddy (2022)

This was my first attempt at characterizing Gabbro! And their relationship with Feldspar. I believe Feldspar, in their last times before disappearing, enjoyed spending time with Gabbro. Not only because by the time, Gabbro was a new astronaut and could replace them for campfire storytime, but also because Gabbro is one of the rare Hearthian that doesn't expect anything from Feldspar. I also wanted to give Gabbro some emotions without being over-the-top about it. I believe Gabbro shows emotions, just not as much as other Hearthians. I think, since they grew up during the beginnings of Outer Wilds Ventures, they kinda always got prepared that something bad might happen one day. Also, first appearance of Chert in my comics as well! I love them, but I never really know what to do with them, aside from making them the reasonable one in the Ventures. And first interactions between the current astronauts! Even though Riebeck was still in training back then...

She has a lot of body movement when she speaks. Think of Giselle from Enchanted, thats exactly how she moves often times as she speaks.

Kyra, at first, seems very elegant. The picture perfect image of what you think of when you think of the word “princess”. Shes soft-spoken, quiet, and mild-mannered. Usually not speaking unless spoken to, and always has a far-off, dreamy look on her face. She seems mysterious, and other worldly, like they pulled her out of a fairytale. Her presence attracts people and animals alike, they cant help but be drawn to her somehow.

Although she comes off as very mature and graceful at first— the true Kyra is a whirlwind of impulsivity and chaos. Shes unpredictable, and thinks in a way others way deem... strange. Shes bounce-off-the-walls energetic and eccentric, and unfortunately, a little naive too. Shes a dreamer at heart, after all!

She says and does things without thinking, often coming off as painfully honest and blunt. She says whatever she wants to and is extremely outspoken, not caring one bit about what she says. She also doesn’t understand social cues very well, either.

Ridiculously unserious, you can expect her to laugh at the worst times possible. Often times, she isn’t too good at reading the room, and can come off as insensitive when in serious situations. She herself, doesn’t see the issue with it, as in her eyes shes just “having fun”. Unfortunately, this can affect her realtionships with others, too, as she likes to have fun in her own way, and often times she does it by poking fun and teasing people, even if they’re in a bad mood.

She does what she wants, when she wants, and won’t listen to anyone who tries to tell her otherwise.

She adores the feeling of adrenaline in her veins and would do anything to chase that high. Because of this, she always has trouble burning hot on her heels. You can bet theres never a dull moment with Kyra around - from trying to juggle fish to exploding the alchemy lab to see "how many cool colors she can make", theres always something unexpected happening around her!

Shes very honest, and sometimes even blunt. She enjoys a good challenge, no matter how ridiculous or extreme and hates being looked down on or underestimated.

A huge klutz and so accident prone its ridiculous, Kyra always finds herself in the middle of some sort of accident or situation. Whether on purpose or not, if theres some sort of incident shes most likely involved somehow... Safe to say that the infirmary is her second home.

Despite her seemingly thoughtless behavior; Kyra is actually very compassionate. She's always the first person to come rushing in when someone is in need, and is a little too trusting of people, to the point of naivety. Shes extremely loving and caring, and even if she teases her friends, she adores all of them dearly and views them as family!

Kyra is a very positive person! She prefers to see the bright side of things, and is so cool-headed its honestly scary. She seems to never get upset, and faces everything with a bright smile! She holds no grudges towards anyone, and is so full of love sometimes its sickening. She chooses to always look forward, and move on from disasters with an even bigger smile than before.

Shes the kind of person that leaves a lasting impression. If you’ve met her, you’ll never forget her! No matter how rambunctious and chaotic she is, she spreads her love and her light to everyone she meets, and before you know it, she’ll find some way to worm her way into your heart! As a friend, and as a companion. A soul as lovely and as beautiful as her’s is sure to leave an impression you’ll never forget.

The best way to describe her is a walking contradiction. Chaotic yet serene at the same time, angelic yet impish in nature, selfish yet selfless. So easy to understand yet impossible to know. Otherworldly and proud yet so grounded and humble. She holds herself in a way that is regal, elegant. Yet she is so very inviting. So mature yet so childish, so disconnected with emotions but she feels them so deeply. Its curious, how it's possible for someone that burns so brightly to be so cool and collected.

Perhaps that is simply the role of a princess. And shes trying to figure out which parts of her have been thrust upon her by the expectations of others, and which ones are truly her.

The life of a princess; from her birth is well defined. She must humbly serve her country and her people and wordlessly play the role she has been assigned.

She has no other purpose, after all. This is what she is meant for- the only thing shes good for. To not speak, nor think for herself. To act only for the sake of others.

Because that is what a princess does. She does not have any other identity outside of this. Nor does she need any identity outside of this. This is the only thing shes good for, what gives her worth. Purpose. She is nothing if not her title and her beauty, a tool for the kingdom to use for its advantage. She is someone— no, something to be used.

But, Kyra is a dreamer. She wants, and she wants. No matter how many times she tries to stop it. She cant help that yearning for freedom she so desperately desires. Yearning, to be more than what shes told she is. Yearning to have more than what they have planned for her.

From her birth, she was forbidden from ever stepping foot outside the palace walls, her father much harsher on her than her other siblings. She escaped through fairytales, and filled her head with dreams of the fantastical. Of course, this only made her want more. It fueled her wonder and curiosity of the outside world, and dreamed that one day she would be able to leave and explore the world for herself.

Of course, as years passed she had she had long played the role as princess, obeyed every command and compliantly did everything the people asked of her. She threw away her own desires for the sake of her country- because that is her only purpose.

But you can only push someone so far.

After getting news from her father that she was promised to a prince, she stormed back to her room to weep. All of her dreams now crushed, and her hope gone.

She ripped out the pages of an old scrapbook shes had since she was a little girl. All of her dreams of adventure written and illustrated in lead and colorful pencils— now ripped to shreds. Nothing but little pieces of paper, of thrown out dreams. Dreams of leaving this palace and going to the beach, or an amusement park. Dreams of travelling the world and to see what it has to offer...

Dreams to make friends, and have grand adventures with them.

All hope was lost... Atleast thats what she thought, until she looked up to the sky and saw a shooting star. Out of desperation, she made a wish. The first time in years, as childish as it was she had no other choice.

And when she woke up, she was in a world she always dreamed of going to. And she couldn't be any happier. Maybe… Just this once, even just for a little while… She can be selfish too.

Kyra & Adeuce — Dumb, Dumber and Dumbest. || Ah. The original trio. Kyra looks out for them— but most of the time just lets them be because she thinks its funny watching them flail around whenever they’re in trouble. Basically, they all act like siblings. Always teasing and poking fun at eachother, but also always the first to rush to eachothers side whenever real trouble arises.

Kyra & Azul — World’s Worst Customer. || Ever since Kyra ate his last contract during Book 3, it was basically downhill from there. Well, for Azul. Not Kyra, shes having the time of her life pestering and annoying Azul. He’s tried to ban her from the Mostro Lounge countless of times but it never works. Not when the employees are unsure whether to actually kick her out, since its either they anger Azul or Floyd if they do or dont kick Kyra out. Either way, Kyra will find a way back into the Lounge out of pure spite. She just thinks its funny to annoy Azul, and Azul is lowkey kind of scared of her…

Kyra & Jamil — Parallels. || Kyra wanted to be mad at him. To be dissappointed in him, to tell him off after the events of Book 4. But, she couldn’t. She didn’t feel angry at all, her anger from earlier while seeing Kalim cry was faded, sizzled into nothing but a gaping hole of guilt— because how could she hate someone she understands so very deeply? She understands. He doesn’t think so. How could he know she understands when all he sees is her running as free as the wind? But, he doesn’t know, that his freedom is eventual, and promised. And hers is temporary.

…On a happier note, Kyra and Jamil end up having a silly brother-and-sister-like relationship! Looks like Jamil has another person to babysit, and shes even WORSE than Kalim 😭

Kyra loves to spoil her little sister rotten with gorgeous dresses she designed, and they often have tea parties together to catch up! They love eachother dearly, and see eachother as family!

Kyra & Paige (@/4necdote) — “Mom!” || Kyra never had a mother, atleast not before Paige. And for that, she loves her so very dearly. Sorry Crewel, but shes a total Mama’s Girl!

Kyra & Elena — “Lil’ sis! pt. 2” || Elena has never been one to trust— But Kyra is just too presistent, too sweet and naive. To trust someone who calls herself a monster… How stupid is she? But even then… Kyra still believes in her. She says that she is kind even after all the betrayal, and deep down Elena wants to believe it too. Kyra sees Elena for who she is, and no one other than Azul and her brothers has done that before.

Kyra & Rory (@/screamintoad) — “Lil’ Bro!” || Complete opposites, both in personality and in style. But that doesn’t stop them at all! Kyra and Rory are dorm mates, but also sibling figures to eachother! Even with how much of a handful Kyra is, Rory always knows how to deal with her. Despite being months younger than Kyra. Safe to say Rory isn’t a stranger to Kyra’s chaos and randomness, and he’ll have to deal with it for life; seeing as they were both adopted by Paige and Crewel. Sibling til’ the end, right? <3

Kyra is Twisted from the stereotype of a Disney Princess!

While Kyra may be a stereotype, there are some princesses that I took inspo from the most! Those are: Giselle, Belle, Rapunzel, and Jasmine!! Cinderella and Snow White too, but thats just because theyre basically the disney princess blue print LMAO

^^ Kyra takes a lot of inspiration from Giselle especially!! She has a lot of her mannerisms. (Body language, the hand movements, ykyk)

In the canon storyline, no one knows Kyra’s past as royalty, and she never mentions it. She keeps it hidden throughout the events of the story, as she doesn’t want to remember it.

Kyra has a unique affinity towards animals that make them naturally drawn to her. Funnily enough, this also extends to merfolk and beastmen! Although its much more subtle.

Because of her past, Kyra is new to most things she interacts with in general. She was enamored when she saw a vending machine for the first time.

Kyra is an adrenaline junkie.

Kyra likes to dig through trash cans. Thats it.

With waaay too much energy, Kyra just cant stay still for a minute. Always off on some random side quest, working a part-time job at Sam's just for the fun of it to partying it up with Scarabia, she just can't stick to one thing for too long! She'll disappear for a minute and come back with something completely random. You really never know with her.

Despite how she seems, Kyra does NOTT take shit from anyone. If she doesnt vibe with you, she’ll just leave. And if you piss her off, its on SIGHT. Will absolutely throw hands regardless of who you are

Her single and only fear is Jamil after she does something stupid.

I think we need to give that dysfunctional Entrati family iphones ASAP. I want them to be a fucked up family vlog channel where they all have their own social media accounts. They have a jillion subscribers but half of them are out of horror. Like yes someone needs to call the police but also notifications are on for their next post

Their most popular video is the candy salad/trauma dump trend. There ends up being a fistfight and it goes viral

They have, for better or worse, become a part of internet culture. Reaction images, video clips, memes, quotes, have all come from their videos. People dress up as them for "meme day" during spirit weeks.

Their let's play streams are INSANE. Yelling, cursing, airing family secrets out, the whole nine yards. Father and Daughter usually win if the game includes PvP/fighting

People can’t tell if they’re rich or not. They have a very large house filled with technology, and are all obviously very intelligent, but their house seems constantly overtaken by rot and vermin and is even crumbling in some places? They don’t seem to mind so fans pretend it isn’t there

Father has a podcast. This is...interesting, as he becomes especially popular with divorced men, but also some of the younger generations think he’s funny because his dad energy is evident. Definitely calls himself the grill master or something corny

Otak and his brother Loid are the family’s housekeeper/utilities guy/family friend and a fan favorite. Two of the most "normal" people featured on the channel

The favorite family member isn’t even related to them by blood. It’s some guy (gender neutral) named Tenno (nicknamed Ayatan) who is the only guest star to date to not attempt to punch Son’s lights in

They all call each other by their family title, and fans don’t know if its either a running bit, they hate each other so much that they refuse to call each other by their name, or the chemicals they’re constantly using in videos has finally got to them. (It's actually a disease so rare they are some of the only currently documented cases, and it's known to mess with memory)

Daughter has a fishing channel. People would use her videos as studying background noise until she started butchering fish on-camera. A lot of her videos get taken down for excessive violence and PETA absolutely HATES her ass. However, swamp and large aquatic animal hunters SWEAR by her DIY bait videos

Son becomes an influencer. This is bad for everyone because he’s constantly doing callouts that are always obvious at who they’re targeted at. He’s especially popular with the queer community because there’s no way someone that bitchy isn’t bisexual and his cadence of speaking is basically textbook gay lisp. Posts shit like “GRWM and storytime: how a family member COLLARED ME over an INCONSEQUENTIAL MISTAKE”

Mother has an educational channel. She’s extremely good at teaching but has also traumatized generations of “her children” (middle school to phD students) when she reads their comments or takes fan calls. (“You watched all my videos but STILL only got a 63%? PATHETIC! Unsubscribe until you succeed. Half-baked scholars have no need to follow me.”)

One time Tenno performed CPR (?) on the family’s power supply which was in the shape of a heart (??) It’s unsure whether or not it was staged and whether the power supply was fit for human use

When they all post apology videos to each other and begin to not hate each other’s guts, the Internet freaks the FUCK out (they finally got medicated and were forced to talk shit out)

Grandmother is a popular recurring guest and KNOWS it. Constantly reads her family to filth and comments under posts by her family with "Grand MOTHER 💜"

So many fans and other youtubers have entire multiple hours long video essays dedicated to them to figure out what the hell is going on. Anytime the family guests on another channel or podcast the mystery gets deeper and deeper. Is it black mold? Genetics? Sheer human hatred? Who knows!

there once was a boy named jimmy, who fell in love with the ocean. there weren’t many fish or plants, but he loved it still and every summer day he would run down to the beach and play and splash in the water, watching the few fish swim by. the people in town never cared much for the water, and kids would bully jimmy for spending so much time on the beach.

one day, he made a friend who took one look at the ocean and told him all about the oceans back home, filled with animals and plants he had never heard of before! the friend described the big, rolling waves that would crash into the sand and all the fun people would have swimming and surfing and riding the waves.

Jimmy wanted to do all that too, but his ocean seemed so quiet and empty compared to the ones his friend described. he knew he couldn’t make animals or plants spawn in the ocean, but Jimmy and his friend Emma worked hard to make a machine that would make big waves!

they placed it on the ocean bed and cheered and celebrated when it worked. together, they spent days splashing around and surfing. suddenly everyone in town wanted to play in the waves and learn to ride them, and so Jimmy and Emma created a business by letting people use the waves and teaching them how to surf. they were very happy because now everyone loved the ocean too, and they made lots and lots of money and got very rich!
