I HAVE COME TO THEE WITH ANSWERS! For starters, (and of course if any of these go against what you have planned plot-wise, ignore it) I would love to see some sort of grapeduo moment where they’re flirting and someone in the CG just nonchalantly walks passed them and trips either Green or Purp and they crash into the other in an awkward blushing mess. Also, they do a duet at some point. This isnt exactly vigilante kinda stuff but I need it in my life.

Another idea I had is where Orange is learning to use his power and fight and Blue just relentlessly taunting him from the sidelines while eating vegetarian sushi. So Orange draws something to smash the sushi into her face and shenanigans ensue.

Can we please have an epic fight scene where Orange is bad at it too? Something dramatic, action-filled, straight out of Marvel and at the same time super dumb, but it’s amazing to Orange because it’s his first real fight.

I dunno, this was kinda just an ask for me to info dump all my repressed ideas into your fanfic. Me and my friend have been obsessed with AVA and AVM recently too, and I’m TRYING to get her to read Rhapsody In Green but she IS SO STUBBORN. Also, I just learned how to color text, so you know I’m doing that a lot.

at first I was wondering how would revali and link even be in the same group? and ik in this post you mentioned that revali probably wouldn't even be in a group, he'd be a soloist. but then I was like:

I'm gonna be so fr I have never watched a survival show, not even i-land or boys planet, so idk how any of it works, but imo revali seems like he would be in first place throughout the show even though international fans don't like him, they're like how is he winning?? but revali is just so good (and the show is probably a little rigged since the judges have favorites, but it's not bc revali bribed them- he wants to win because he deserves it, not because of some bribery)

meanwhile, link is the fan favorite; he's charismatic and good looking, he regularly goes viral on tik tok, he does a freestyle like that one guy from bp, I think his name was woonggi? and the fans absolutely lose their mind, and link shoots up to first place. ofc revali immediately sees link as a threat, and so their (one-sided) rivalry begins (link is just vibing but revali is absolutely livid that he's second. out of 100. like that's stil reallyl good revali u can chill!!)

throughout the rest of the show the two are fighting for first place, every other voting period they've switched spots, and it's clear that they'll both make the final cut, but the real question is who's going to place first?

anyways they debut with hmm like 5 other ppl so it's 7 of them in the group (idk who though, don't ask me 😊🙏). and at first it's SO AWKWARD like revali is bitching about link every chance he gets and the managers are like.. can u pls stop. we keep having to edit the clips of you so you can maintain a somewhat respectable reputation 😭

the editors can do whatever they want, but at the dorms, revali and link are totally fighting each other, like istg whoever their leader is has to do some serious damage control every time one of them says something out of pocket.. revali starts talking abt how link shouldn't be on the team and the leader is like woahh hey let's not do that

that doesn't stop revali though :/

ykw does make him stop? after a huge fight where revali definitely says some things he didn't think through (I'm not gonna say bc it hurts my heart to think abt), link storms out of the dorms, and the leader (istg I'm gonna make it teba atp) is like dude u fucked up.. go apologize to him

and revali bristles and is like why should I?? but deep down he feels super uncomfortable and guilty for this whole thing, he's like have I gotten so lost in this rivalry that this is just who I am? he doesn't voice all that but he does leave to go find link, who is predictably in their practice studio. but when he gets there, he can hear crying through the door. and when revali listens closer, he hears, "I don't know, aryll, sometimes I just feel like I don't belong here. I don't know if-" a pause, a muffled sob. "I don't know if I want to do this anymore." silence, then: "i just want to do something right for once. it's never good enough."

revali backs away from the door; he's heard enough. he goes back to the dorm and straight to his room without talking to the other members. he shouldn't have been eavesdropping. and besides, if link wants to quit the group, that's not his problem, right? at least revali will finally get the spotlight.

but the thought of link being gone, it leaves a cold feeling in his gut.

umm this got dark fast and I don't like the direction I went in.. maybe their rivalry can be more lighthearted 😊 but yes anyways revali gets this wake up call and is like ohh maybe I shouldn't be an ass! and after seeing link in a new light he gains a new respect for him. so the next day after letting link calm down and after revali gathers his thoughts, he goes to talk to link and they're able to work out their differences! just kidding 😇 it's not that easy. but their dynamic does shift, and it becomes less toxic and the bickering and friendly challenging becomes more reciprocal rather than being one-sided bullying

atp it's been a little over a year since their debut, and their fans have CLEARLy noticed the positive difference in their dynamic. so ofc the crazy delulus start making dating rumors abt them! 😦 because there's no way they could have started being so nice to each other for no reason, something definitely must have happened! the rest of the fandom is clowning the shippers like ur actually so dumb for shipping them

as time passes the two are able to look out for each other but still have a sort of friendly rivalry! my brain is running out of energy to come up with things but they're literally yoonmin from bts, like look at this compilation of them bickering and tell me that's not them🧍🏻‍♀️

fans see these interactions and go crazyyy like maybe those delulu shippers weren't so delulu after all 😦 clearly they have a way different bond than with the other members, and they're constantly acting like an old married couple with the constant back and forth over literally the tiniest things. and ppl fr start making compilation videos of all their interactions and SWEAR that there's something going on, and it's literally just.. revali and link arguing whether , or link getting revali a bottle of water on stage, or revali and link on a team together during a variety show

bickering aside, though, they would privately support each other in their own ways 🥺🥺 imagining revali staying up late at the studio to practice until his voice is raw, the other members of the group have all gone to bed in the dorms but link notices that revali isn't back yet (omg bc they were roommates??👀) and so he gets up, prepares a mug of oolong tea, and brings it to the studio for revali. he makes him take a break to rest his voice, and after much convincing, link brings revali back to the dorms and makes him go to sleep

in turn, revali — who knows how vulnerable link really is to harsh criticism — takes extra care to compliment link when he thinks he does well, and to give guidance in a more constructive way. if they have a particularly good performance, he'll tell link that, and if he notices link having trouble with a certain move or part of the song, he'll talk to him privately abt it and help link improve!

honestly this whole au is giving me serious 13 iconic yoonmin moments vibes, like imagine revali stumbling across one of these revali x link compilation videos and actually looking at the way they interact with each other and going like oh. oh.

Cloud and Sephiroth are in the Floating Continent, surrounded by a thick fog. He keep attacking Sephiroth to buy him some time because Sephiroth will chase Squall and John if he isn’t willing to fight

Cloud : He is not our enemy ! Sephiroth : You were deceived. (Sephiroth keep attacking Cloud) I won’t let you escape. Cloud : That’s my line ! Don’t think you can catch me easily ! Sephiroth : Alright. Nothing change if we move place.

Cloud escaped into Cornelia Plains and hide on the tree like John did before. He is surprised Sephiroth didn’t realize at all but just when Cloud attack him, Sephiroth dodge it.

Cloud : What’s your purpose ? Why are you after John ? Sephiroth : Didn’t you heard it from the goddess ? That man is hiding a powerful resources. Cloud : John is hiding it ? Meanwhile, Tidus is inside Phantom Train. He is surprised it’s different then the one he knew (The Sending) and it makes him trembling. He tried to call “the old man he know” and something that looked like a pyreflies transform into the man with sunglasses and appear in front of him. Tidus asked Auron if he board this train but answered he heard that the phantom train derailed and he saw Tidus when he tried to send his thoughts. (Okay i don't know the right translation for this one. I'll explain later)

seriously, didn’t expect to see Auron as ‘cameo’ in this live reading and Ishikawa-san wear sunglasses  *badass*

Tidus think Phantom Train carries the dead like The Sending in Spira. Auron asked him to persuade the souls for not leaving the train because the souls boarded this train is in unstable state. If they held a grudge and leave the train , they will turns into a monster. Why the souls wanted to leave the train so badly because normally, the dead boarded the phantom train must accept their death but this time, one of the souls escaped carrying a the treasure that will revive the dead and the souls think if they have it, they will be revived.

Tidus realized John is probably the one Auron mentioned since he lost his memories and is looking for summon but doesn’t know if John really has the treasure. Auron added no one knows if the treasure is really exist and even if they have it, doesn’t mean it will grant their wish to be revived. The commotion is getting worse so Auron told him they can’t ignored this.

Tidus : If they wait here, The Phantom Train will depart, right ? Auron : Right. but it’ll take some time. Tidus : Okay. I’ll do it. Auron : Speak as you like. They hear your voice. I’ll stop them if someone trying to talk with you. Tidus : O...Okay.

“Listen to me ! Please don’t be panic ! We don’t know if the treasure is really exist or not but if you force yourself searching for it, turn into a monster and start rampaging, It means the end for you. Maybe it’s fine if you turn into monster only in this world but what will happen to you if you return to your own world as it is ? It sounds selfish if you said it’s better if you leave yourself here but you want your living family and friends to do whatever they want and keep smiling but because of your fault, it’ll hurt them more. Leave the one who escaped this train to me . Everyone.. Let’s finish your story for once ! I don’t know anything about the Phantom Train but there was a similar ritual like this in the world I knew. After his speech, Auron gave an applause and praise him for his wonderful speech. Tidus decided to go back to his friend and bring John here before he turn into monster while Auron stayed at the train to make sure nothing bad happened. I finally found a glowing stone. That’s right, It’s not over ! I found what I’m looking for. And now, It’s time to wake up from this weird dream !”

Meanwhile, after running away from Sephiroth, Squall is walking while carrying unconscious John on his back. It reminds him with “that time”

John summoned the immortal bird, Phoenix. The summonstone on John’s chest shined brightly and Sephiroth saw the summonstone was damaged, and left the scene, completely gave up the summon. And Tidus's monologue start.

"The Summon, Phoenix's summonstone. It was the treasure's true form. The fire bird flying while scattering its warm light. It's the first time i saw this but i feel relieved. Phoenix flew toward the Phantom Train and the train, now bathed in flames and sparkling, flew to the sky while carrying a lot of souls. for them to be reincarnate someday”

Cloud asked when did John found the summonstone and John answered he had the stone but completely forgot about it which prove he regained his memories. Tidus realize John should board the train before he turn into monster but since the phoenix save him, he was revived. They see the summonstone filled with cracks. Squall assumed they can’t use it and Tidus thought Materia will complain. Cloud suggest to report and tell Materia the truth and the four returned to Materia’s tower.

there are something I haven’t mentioned yet and I think it’s important.

In case, you missed. The gods didn’t summon Locke. He escaped the Phantom Train while the train was in the rift and he fell to World B. Since he is in this train, I think he died after he got the magicite in Phoenix Cave and before reunite with others in FFVI. Phoenix revived him but i dont know why he lost his memories. Squall, Tidus and Cloud found him. That’s where Locke’s journey in dissidia NT started.

Kujiraoka said on June 2018’s livestream that Secretum happened after the last battle.

It was mentioned on the script which is included in premium edition also famitsu interview with Kujiraoka, that the man in black cloak is actually SEPHIROTH’S CLONE. Kinda makes sense since I wondered how did Sephiroth ended up in Phantom Train. Also the tone Morikawa-san use when he act as Sephiroth's copy is different than the usual Sephiroth.

There is a small chance Phoenix appear as summon in NT since the summonstone filled with cracks. This is also Kujiraoka’s answer from the interview.

IMO I don’t think Auron will come to NT which is SaaaaaaD because first, he was in the phantom train and the train leave World B after that. Second, Auron has same Japanese VA with Squall (also Cait Sith from VII and Qator from Type-0) so even if he comes to NT, maybe not in next season pass. (if the datamine "leak" is true). Not sure about that though.

And some things I don’t really understand :

How Sephiroth know about Phoenix, and what Sephiroth is going to do with it.(At first i thought just like Materia with the weather trio, he knew it from Spiritus but i doubt it since most of Spiritus's warriors are like "i don't care with this war. I have my own ambition.")

It’s about Sephiroth’s copy. Why his copy is in the Phantom Train ? Did Sephiroth control it ? or what ?

Okay actually I don’t really understand how Auron ended  up in Phantom Train. Here is the dialogue.

Tidus : アンタも、この列車に乗ってたのか？(You board this train too ?) Auron : いや、魔列車が脱線したと聞いてな、厄介事かと思念を飛ばしたら、お前の姿が見えたということだ。(No, I heard the Phantom Train derailed. I thought something bad happened and I saw you when i tried to send my thoughts. Tidus : 魔列車ね…(Phantom Train, huh…)

According to my Japanese friend, 思念を飛ばす is something like telepathy. Like, communicating with someone but we only hear their voice and we can't see their real form. The sfx when Auron greet Tidus sounds like he is transforming from pyreflies to his physical form. I understand this idiom but doesn't know how to translate this one to English. anyone here have an idea for the right translation ?

Also for Squall’s “Whatever” , He is actually said 「別に/Betsu ni」. It’s one of his catchphrase along with 「悪かったな../Warukatta na」in the Japanese version of FFVIII. Even though the translation of “Betsu ni” doesn’t always mean “Whatever” in English, I decided to translated it all to “Whatever”.

In this live reading, I got to see a different side from the characters. I was surprised to see Squall yelled “Johhhhnnnnnnnn!!!” when Locke asked him for nickname also being such a “jerk” to protect his friend. Cloud stopped the quarrel between Squall and Tidus also Squall and Locke is something I never see before. Even though we all know Cloud and Squall are both the 'silent' type, Squall interact a lot with Tidus and Locke but Cloud is the calm, helpful also “the neutral one” in this live reading and he care and trust his friend. Maybe people will think it’s kind of OOC and tbh that's what I thought at first but I think it as “different or new side” we didn’t get to see after the ending of their game.

I personally love seeing how they interact with each other, especially the four and it kinda remind me a little with Braska (Cloud), Auron (Squall) and Jecht (Tidus and Locke). I don’t say they have same personality, It’s just their interaction and role here reminds me with ossan trio from FFX.

But I'm dissapointed because Cloud, doesn't interact much like Squall and Tidus. His spotlight is during his battle with Sephiroth even though I have had enough seeing this two fight ==" . (sorry to FFVII fans especially Cloud or Sephiroth’s fans :p ). And even though secretum story is about Locke, Auron came as 'guest' was a big surprise. Kudos for Ishikawa-san to play as two character at the same time.

Didn't expect it's too long. Good story with favorite casts, favorite seiyuu, some things that will bring your memories back to series related and what i love is they used the original tracks for the BGM in most of the scene like Vivi's theme during Tidus and Locke's scene in Alexandria, Blue Fields during Squall's monologue, Forever Rachel during Locke's monologue in Act 6, etc. The aftertalk is full of laugh. The casts teased Producer Hazama (who was the host for this event) a lot. Nomura also came and as usual, as the voice from heaven (XD). They even talk a bit about Kingdom Hearts.

I’m glad to see Locke, Rinoa and Yuna scene in Dissidia NT have some reference to secretum, at least in the Japanese version. 

It’s the first Final Fantasy live reading and I hope they hold another in the future. Even Ishikawa-san wished Square Enix will hold another dissidia live reading but with all casts and PLEASE COUNT ME IN FOR FULL CASTS OF DISSIDIA LIVE READING.

Real quick random story but like i know we love maple here and theres maple syrup, maple bacon, maple candies, maple cookies (i love these btw ♡) , etc but did u know maple water is sold too (・о・) like idk why thats so weird to me but it was the first thing i saw at the grocery store today and ive never seen it before (^▽^;) + that dolphin post was soo crazy woahh - Rin

You sat in Teresa’s living room, feeling quite uneasy. You had no idea how the hell your friends had managed to bring up the topic of boyfriends and relationships. Again.

Well, if you thought about it, they basically talked about nothing else, and this had exactly one purpose: to tease you for not having a boyfriend.

The topic came up for the first time a few months ago, and you made the big mistake of telling your oh-so-great friends you’ve never had a boyfriend before. They had been shocked, to say the least.

You had felt beyond embarrassed, and even though everyone told you that this wasn’t your fault and that every boy could be lucky to have you, you had felt like crap, and still did.

And it certainly hadn’t been the first time you had thought about this. Not that you hated yourself or something - it was just, your whole life you had watched all the boys fall for Teresa or Brenda. But never for you.

And with time you had started to ask yourself, what was wrong with you?

You knew that you weren’t as pretty as other girls like your two best friends, but you weren’t hideous. Or at least you thought so.

“Well, i had my first boyfriend with…i think it was 13? But it only lasted for like two weeks and wasn’t too great”, Teresa’s voice interrupted your train of thoughts.

“But I had my first girlfriend with 12”, Minho pointed out, smiling proudly, “so i’m clearly the winner here.”

This was a thing you didn’t really get. What was so great about having a relationship at such young age? What was the point of it? Nobody could tell you that this was real love or something.

And you wanted real love. You didn’t just want a boyfriend for the sake of having a boyfriend, but someone who cared for you, who loved you.

Hence it certainly didn’t bother you that you haven’t had a boyfriend with 12 or 13, but now you were 17, and no boy had ever shown the slightest romantic interest in you.

Of course, this made you insecure not only about your appearance but also about your personality. You couldn’t be that terrible, could you?

“And our lovely, innocent Y/N. Still no boyfriend?”

You looked up. Minho seemed to enjoy this whole situation way too much,  judging by the mischievous glimmer in his eyes.

“Is there really nobody? At least admit that you have a crush on someone. Everything else is just not possible.”

A picture of Newt flashed through your mind, but you quickly shook your head.

“Y/N, there is just no way that you never had a boyfriend. I don’t believe you.”

“But -“

Suddenly Newt entered the room, causing you to stop talking.

“Hey, Guys!” He closed the door behind him and came over to the couch.

He had been at a basketball practice with some friends from school and hell, he looked hot with his tousled hair and the jersey that showed his muscular arms.

You had to force yourself to look away from him before you could blush, you didn’t want any stupid comments.

Also, you really shouldn’t think about Newt like that. He was your best friend and would it would be totally weird if he knew about your massive crush on him.

That was one reason why you could never tell him, the other was that you knew you couldn’t bear the pitiful look he would give you when he’d tell you to forget about him because he could never love someone like you.

Newt jumped over Minho’s outstretched legs and plopped himself down next to you.

“Hey, love” he smiled and before you could do anything he cupped your face in his hands, pulled you closer and pressed a quick kiss on your lips.

“So, what were you all talking about?”

As nobody said a word, he looked around. “Ehr, is something wrong?”

Everyone was staring at him, eyes wide and jaws practically dropped to the floor.

And you couldn’t blame them, they looked exactly what you felt like. Thousands of different thoughts ran through your head, making you dizzy.

What the hell just happened?

Did Newt really kiss you?

Teresa opened and closed her mouth, unable to form a proper sentence and Brenda looked back and forth between Newt and you.

“Newt? Y/N?”

“Haha, ehr…surprise?” You let out a forced laugh, hoping nobody would notice that you were just as confused as anyone else in this room.

Newt took your hand, smiling satisfied.

“Why didn’t you tell us?”, Thomas asked with a look on your interwind hands, causing the blood to rush into your cheeks.

“I.. wanted it to be a surprise. Now if you would excuse us.” You stood up quickly, dragging the blonde out of the room with you.

Minho, who seemingly had regained his composure, whistled and yelled after you: “Don’t have to much fun! We’re still in the same house!”

You rolled your eyes and shut the door more forceful than necessary before you turned around to face Newt, who now didn’t seem to be as confident anymore.

“What the hell was this, Newt?”

“What the hell was what?”

You made a step closer to him, pointing a finger at his chest. “You know exactly what i mean.”

“Well, i heard what they were saying, and -” he nervously ran his hand through his hair, avoiding your gaze “- and i wanted to kiss you for a long time, so i thought, now or never.”

You needed a moment to comprehend what he just said. “What?”

“You heard me”, he said, “and i’m sorry when i made you uncomfortable. But i couldn’t stand what they were saying and you were clearly uncomfortable, and… our friends sometimes don’t know when they’ve gone too far.”

“Well, thank you. And you didn’t make me uncomfortable. Quite the opposite, actually.”

Staring intently at your feet, you waited for his answer, still afraid he’ll just laugh and tell you it was all a joke.

“The opposite? So you liked it?”, he sounded relieved, “i honestly thought you would hate me now because you looked so shocked.”

You huffed. “Can you blame me? I just sit there, and out of nowhere you come and kiss me!”

He shrugged, fiddling with his hands. “I guess you’re right.”

Now you stood there in awkward silence, examining your surroundings, careful not to look at each other. All his confidence seemed to have vanished since he made no move to do anything.

You shifted your weight uncomfortably from one foot to another and tried to gather up the courage to do something. Anything.

Finally, you made a step forward, laid your hands on his shoulders and stood on your tip toes. Your lips hovered centimeters away from his, and you almost expected him to pull away now, but he didn’t.

Instead, he looked at you smiling, before he closed his eyes and met your lips with his, pulling you close to him.

This kiss was entirely different to the first. You felt every inch of his body against yours and forgot everything around you. Like the fact that your friends sat just a few meters away at the other side of the door.

Newt swiftly turned you around so that your back was now pressed against the wall and deepened the kiss, running his fingers up and down your back.

“Hey guys, won’t you come- WOAHH!”

The two of you practically jumped apart and Newt hastily tried to fix his hair that was unbelievable messy from your hands running through it. Your breath was heavy, your whole body still tingling from the sensation of his lips against yours.

Minho stood in the door frame, the biggest smirk ever on his face, and behind him you could see the others, smiling as widely as your friend in front of you.

Well, shit. They won’t forget this for a long time.

“I believe you’re busy. Just come back if you feel like it.” He winked and closed the door, leaving you alone again.

You smiled weakly. “Well, the mood is ruined.”

Newt raised his hands. “It’s Minho. What did you expect?”

“Nothing different. Let’s join the others?” You turned around and tried to open the door, but Newt laid his hand on your shoulder. “One last thing.”

You looked at him. “What?”

He quickly gave you another rather passionate kiss. “Now we can go.”
