an absolute pissload of sketches about spottedmouse

1. condensing mousefurs whole negative character arc into one sentence to try and explain her combined religious trauma and lesbian grief while making spottedmouse pitch

2. spottedmouse fankitten (hypokit?) MUDDYSPOTS! she is sandstorm’s cousin but they’d grow up more like sisters being raised by runningwind and mousefur after spotted and red die. together they would be absolute evil fucking menaces of apprentices. i named her muddyspots because 1. i liked the first series’ naming convention of using adjectives instead of nouns (spotted/misty) 2. i wanted her to have a dirt themed name to match sandstorm and dustpelt since she’d be in their apprentice clique 3. she’d become a warrior a while after spottedleaf’s death so she gets an honour name :3 i think that she would never come around to fireheart and would feel betrayed that sandstorm fell for him and would be a hardcore hater along with her mum forever. I think the second sketch there is her berating longtail for losing to rusty LOL

3. misc spottedmouse!!! there’s one in there of mousefur yelling at fireheart. i feel like i came up with an au for her where she’s like this twerp is for real going to ruin our clan ever since he came here things have gone wrong and his deputyship broke the code starclan is going to keep punishing us !!! and her and longtail and goldenflower who are mad about swiftpaw team up and do some kind of a mutiny. and it probably goes terribly :D anyhoo i just like them

Some more pieces for the TPB rewrite:

Nightstar is shown as capable of leading, but easy to pressure. He attacked Windclan because his warriors wanted to. He doesn't personally go to the attack out of shame.

Brightheart explicitly states that while Cloudtail's love helps her feel better and like she is able to have her scars and not feel guilty, it's her support system that helped her fully regain her confidence. Cloudtail's just the (literally) loudest cheerleader.

Fireheart is upset about Cinderpaw's leg. While some of his upset is that she's in pain, which is reasonable, he starts talking almost the same way he was in Canon... This is interrupted by Yellowfang, who puts him in his place and lets him know that projecting his own disappointment at not having Cinderpaw as an apprentice is no reason to think she's "poor little Cinderpaw".

Fireheart gets a burn on his shoulder when trying to save Bramblekit.

Spottedleaf explicitly says Firepaw feels like a baby brother to her, that she always wanted little siblings.

Graystripe didn't leave Thunderclan because he wanted his kits to be in their mother's clan, he left because he was practically driven out. At least in Riverclan, as Silverstream's mate, he was protected by Crookedstar. Thunderclan was being infested with harder codeist and Tiger Law supporters.

Idea from an Icyswipe AU divergence I alluded to before. Ravenpaw, Fireheart, & Princess as SpottedScourge kits!

Why don’t I do a wc art dump, i have a bunch of sketches lying around in my sketchbooks.

For my “power of 5 au” i swear i posted about it but I can’t find the post anywhere so.

Anthro Office worker Bluestar, she deserves a raise.

Dessert cat Leafpool and Squirrelflight, it just occurred to me that i’m not sure i ever posted my original dessert cat designs, if not i will post them again.

The first ones for an au i was working on, it was a greek mythology inspired au. The second in is me working out a Half Moon design.

General clan shenanigans, the second one was for my “princess is a warrior” au where Longtail is very weird about her being there.
