Episode of tv or webisode that defined the year for you? The Handmaid’s Tale s1ep1 ‘Offred’, Big Little Lies finale, and Brooklyn 99 s5ep4 ‘HalloVeen’

Favorite actor of the year? Elisabeth Moss and Riley Keough

Game of the year? honestly I’m a nerd and it’s a table top game called Splendor.

Best month for you this year? June. My birthday / and / hanging out with @sadserotonin in person. What a beautiful time. 

Something that made you cry this year? A lot of things lol. I was an emotional mess this year.

Something you want to do again next year? Visit Shyma! Finish my sleeve! Make more bold choices!

Talk about a new friend you made this year Can I talk about my whole Starbucks clan? I started working their in July and I love all of my co-workers.

How was your birthday this year? Pretty incredible. I went to the Met with Shyma. We ate nice things and drink lovely tea. It was a glorious day to turn 25.

Favorite book you read this year? Night Film was very good.

What’s a bad habit you picked up this year? Drinking about 6 cups of coffee a day? All the effin’ espresso!

A memorable meal this year? Freaking artichoke pizza with Shyma.

What’re you excited about for next year? Becoming a shift at starbucks, saving up to move out of state, and to work on my right arm sleeve with my favorite tattoo artist. 

What’s something you learned this year? When to say no to people or opportunities. 

What’s something new about your place of residence (room, home, or general location) now vs the start of the year? Well I’m living in the city instead of my college town which is a nice change of pace. I enjoy my room and apartment more than my last but I look forward to moving next year. 

Favorite place you visited this year? If I mention New York again am I broken record? Also the Kentucky Theatre it plays a ton of indie movies and I feel at home when I’m there. 

If you could send a message to yourself back on the first day of the year, what would it be? “Breathe. Unemployment will pass and you will be financially stable soon. Done let those long empty days consume you.” 

Did you keep any New Year’s Resolutions? Yup! One was to move to the city (I did), to get more tattoos (also did!), and to use my savings account (did / working towards not pulling from it) 

Did you create any characters (in games, art, or writing) this year? Describe one A TON! (blame Shyma and all of our plots) Florent is the first to come to mind. He’s a part of our Love Business plot. From France, living in the city, very good at what he does, has one friend (the bartender), writes poetry, is high key in love with Magnus, and seems to always be awake. He’s a very easy to please high maintenance baby.
