off script | damien haas
summary: an off script moment causes you and damien to re-evaluate some things surrounding your relationship
pairing: damien haas x fem!reader
word count: 1.6k
disclaimer: I mean no disrespect to the cast and real people associated with smosh. This is written as a total work of fiction and based on how they behave as characters
a/n: I've never written for smosh before (and this is also the first post on this blog)...but hopefully you like this đ
You hadnât meant for the line to hit like that. And neither had he.
The sketch was always supposed to be lighthearted. A goofy "pretend couple gets stuck in an elevator and has to confess their fake love to get out" kind of deal. Classic Smosh chaos. You and Damien had been paired togetherânaturally. The chemistry was undeniable, anyone on the cast and crew could see it, and youâd been dancing around it for months.
But during the final take of the scene, something shifted.
The energy in the studio changed. The crew grew quiet. And Damienâhe looked at you like he wasnât acting anymore. You finished your last line with unease, before Damien spoke again.
âYou make me feel like Iâm not pretending when Iâm with you.â
That's new, you thought to yourself. Those words hadnât been in any of the previous takes âyou would know. Because you wrote the script.
Beyond you there was a loud call of "CUT" and you and Damien broke away from each other.
The lights had barely cooled before the crew started packing up. Cameras off. Ladders clanked. Everyone laughed it off like any other sketchâbut your brain couldnât stop replaying that line.
He had to know what he was doing. Had to feel the same pull you did when he leaned just a little too close during rehearsals. When he remembered your coffee order without asking. When his hand lingered on your back a beat too long during blocking.
But he hadnât said anything since the take. No jokes. No debrief. Not even a casual âgood job today.â
So you wandered to the props room, telling yourself you needed to return the fake rosesâbut really, you just needed space to breathe.
The air inside was stale with fabric softener and old Halloween wigs. You stood in the dim light, staring blankly at a plastic bouquet in your hands like it held the answers.
Thatâs when the door creaked open.
âHey.â
You didnât need to turn to know it was him.
âThought you went home already,â you said, keeping your voice casual. You hated how breathless it came out.
âYeah, well⌠couldnât leave my dignity behind with the plastic sword and fake bouquet.â
A small laugh escaped you, despite the storm in your chest.
He stepped in, shutting the door behind him. Now you were alone, boxed in by old costumes, unspoken feelings, and the echo of a not-so-scripted line.
âYou were really good today,â Damien said, quieter now.
âYou too,â you replied, fingers still fiddling with the bouquet. âYou always are.â
He hesitated. You could feel it. The way the air tensed between sentences, like he wanted to say something but couldnât quite push it out.
You turned to face him slowly. Your heart thudded against your ribs.
âWas it just acting?â you asked, voice soft but steady. âWhat you said during the scene?â
He blinked. The question landed with force. You watched it hit him.
âWhich part?â he asked.
âThe part where you saidâŚâ You took a breath. âYou make me feel like Iâm not pretending when Iâm with you.â
There was a pause. A long one. One that stretched thin like glass. âIt wasnât in the script,â he finally said.
You stared at him. âI know,â you replied
He scratched the back of his neck, eyes darting to the floor, the ceiling, anywhere but yours.
âI shouldnât have said it,â he muttered. âNot like that. Not when everyone was there.â
âThen why did you?â you cut in, stepping closer.
His eyes finally met yours. Warm, wide, unsure.
âBecause itâs true,â he waits for a reaction, trying to garner whether he should continue. âAnd I didnât think Iâd get the chance to say it for real.â
Silence cast over the two of you, one beat, two, then three. Just your heartbeat hammering in your ears and Damien standing four feet away like heâd just set something fragile down between you.
âYouâre an idiot,â you whispered.
He blinked rapidly, one of those cute blinks where his entire face seemed to scrunch in confusion. âWhat?âÂ
You sighed. âYou didnât need a script Damien, you couldâve just told me. Weeks ago. Months, even.â
He let out a breathy laugh. âYeah, well. Itâs easier to pretend when thereâs a camera in front of me.â
âThen letâs stop pretending.â That hits him hard, it feels real. Raw.
He reached out and gently took the bouquet from your hand, setting it aside on a cluttered shelf of old wigs and rubber chickens. Now empty, his hand hovered mid-air like he didnât know what to do with it now.
So you took it in yours.
Fingers laced, hesitantly at firstâthen tighter. Solid.
âI wasnât acting either,â you said.
Thatâs all it took.
He kissed you like heâd been holding his breath for monthsâsoft at first, then surging forward, hands cupping your face like you were something delicate he never thought heâd get to hold.
No lights. No audience. Just you and him. Off script. Exactly where you both wanted to be.
Moments pass like this, it feels like an eternity. You were so wrapped up in Damienâs hoodie and the warmth of his hands when the props room door creaked open again.
âHey, have either of youââ Shayneâs voice echoed through the room âOH. Oh my god.â
You and Damien sprang apart in an instant. You nearly tripped over a pile of pirate hats and Damien knocked over a stack of prop pizza boxes trying to straighten up.
Shayne stood frozen in the doorway, holding a mic pack in one hand and a deeply offended expression on his face.
â...Is this why the roses are missing?â he deadpanned.
âItâs not what it looks like!â Damien blurted, voice cracking just slightly. He wasnât sure this was something you wanted people to know about just yet. Itâs not like youâd had any time to define what this was.Â
You raised an eyebrow at him.
âReally?â Shayne scoffed. âBecause it kind of is exactly what it looks like.â
âOkay, fine,â Damien said, sheepish. âItâs mostly what it looks like.â
Shayne crossed his arms, leaning against the doorframe like a judgmental sibling. âI leave for five minutes and suddenly itâs Smosh: After Dark.â
You groaned and dropped your face into your hands. âCan we please not make this a thing? It just⌠happened.â
âMmm-hmm. Sure.â The blonde man turned to leave, calling over his shoulder. âIâm definitely not texting the group chat about this.â
âShayne, I swearââ
But it was too late. You heard the unmistakable ding-ding-ding of notifications going off as he walked down the hall, already typing like a menace.
Damien sighed and looked at you, wincing apologetically. âThat couldâve gone worse.â He admitted.
You snorted, already laughing despite yourself. âYeah? How?â
âShayne couldâve taken a picture.â
Your phones buzzed simultaneously.  [đ¸: âcaught in 4Kâ] [Message from Shayne: âAt least pretend youâre not in love during work hours???â]
You looked at each otherâslightly overwhelmed but laughed nonetheless.
Damien reached for your hand again, unbothered now. âGuess weâre not really off script anymore, huh?â
âNope. But heyâmaybe this versionâs even better.â
And this time, you kissed him again on purposeâwith the door locked.
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Bonus:
The next morning you arrived on set to find hell waiting for you in the office kitchen.
Someoneâand by someone, you meant Shayneâhad printed out a screenshot of the blurry caught in 4K photo and taped it to the fridge.
Written in red Sharpie beneath it: âSmoshâs Cutest Couple (Weâre All Disgusted)â
Courtney was already there with coffee and a grin the size of Jupiter. She leaned against the counter, an air of smugness radiating from her.
âSo⌠How long have you and Damien been sneaking off into tiny rooms to make out?â she asked, handing you a mug labeled with Shayneâs face as the Chosen on it. You could almost hear his mocking voice in your mind.
You groaned. âCan I get, like, one day of peace?â
âAbsolutely not,â Courtney beamed. âThis is the most romantic thing to happen here since Angela tried to serenade a toaster for a sketch.â
You barely had time to respond before Ian walked in, took one look at the photo, and sighed like a disappointedâbut secretly proudâdad.
âOkay,â he said slowly. âSo... this is finally happening. You two finally confessed?â
âWait, you knew?â you asked. Ian had always been aloof around the office. You never thought he paid enough attention to know anything about your feelings for Damien.
âI didnât know, but I had a strong suspicion after the sketch last night when Damien improvised that line and then stared at you like you were the last cupcake at Crafty.â
You stared at him.
â...That is shockingly specific.â
âI have eyes. Also, Damien asked me if it would be âunprofessionalâ to fall for your co-star. So.â
âIANââ
âIt was cute,â he shrugged. âVery theatre camp energy. I support it.â
Right on cue, Damien walked into the kitchen. He froze mid-step as all heads turned toward him like a sitcom audience waiting for his punchline.
âOh my god,â he muttered. âShayne, did you seriouslyâ?â
âHard launch, baby,â Shayne declared proudly from across the room, holding up a bagel like a trophy. âYouâre public now. Iâm your manager.â
âYouâre fired.â
âCanât fire me. Iâve already booked you two for a fake coupleâs therapy sketch next month.â
Damien turned to you, totally red, totally flusteredâand smiling anyway.
âYou okay?â he murmured, just for you.
âYeah,â you said, bumping his arm with yours. âKind of loving it, actually.â
Just then Angela popped her head in. âSOMEONE TELL ME WHO WON THE WILL-THEY-WONâT-THEY BETââ
Courtney grinned âME. Obviously.â
Ian rebutted, âTechnically, I said they'd be official before the next Try Not to Laugh, so I get partial credit.â
âI said there would be confessions via interpretive dance. So I think I win emotionally.â Shayne decided.
You and Damien exchanged a look. He reached down, gently laced his fingers with yours, and squeezed.
âMight as well lean into it,â he whispered. âWeâre officially the bit now.â
You grinned. âAs long as we get our own theme song.â

so i read your skz figuring out their partner got a singing voice and i ate it up, but what about rapping. like rap god, nissan altima type rap or if your feeling spunky denial is a river conversational rap shit. and like, the reader BODIES the song, bar for bar, literally knows it like they made the song themselves
obviously i 110% understand if you wouldnât want to do this due to its repetitive nature with the singing prompt, but idk im js more into flowy rap music instead of belty songs and i was js pondering
Stray Kids Reacting to Their S/O Secretly Being an Insane Rapper

Bang Chan
Chanâs working on a beat in the studio, absentmindedly humming when you suddenly start rapping along to a song at full speed. He stops everything. The track is still playing, but heâs just staring at you, mouth slightly open. "Hold on. HOLD ON. Since whenâHELLO?" He rewinds the beat, pointing at you. "Do it again. I need to confirm that wasnât a fluke." Once you go off again, heâs convinced. Immediate producer mode activated. Heâs already layering adlibs in his head. "Weâre making a song. This is non-negotiable."
Lee Know
Minhoâs driving when you absentmindedly start rapping, barely paying attention to how flawlessly youâre hitting every syllable. He, however, nearly forgets how to operate the vehicle. "Youâre joking." He looks at you, then back at the road, then back at you, blinking in disbelief. "Am I dating a rapper and I didnât know?" Plays it cool but is secretly so impressed that heâs replaying the song just to hear you go off again. Later, you catch him trying to match your flow when he thinks you're not listening.
Changbin
Youâre both hyping each other up to a rap song when you suddenly go offâfull speed, no stumbles, perfect delivery. Changbin, mid-rhyme, chokes on air. "WAIT. TIME OUT." He physically grabs your arm, eyes wide. "WHY DIDNâT YOU TELL ME YOU COULD RAP LIKE THAT?!" Suddenly, heâs throwing instrumentals at you, demanding you try different beats. Heâs hyping you up so hard, itâs basically a rap cypher now. "You and me? Rap duo. Think about it."
Hyunjin
Hyunjinâs scrolling on his phone when you casually spit a full-speed verse, no mistakes. He glances up slowly, eyebrows furrowed. "...Excuse me?" Then it clicks, and he gasps. "WHY WAS THAT SO HOT?!" Grabs his phone and immediately starts recording. Heâs losing it, acting like he just discovered a hidden gem. "Can you do that again? Waitâsay my name in the rap voice." This is now his favorite thing about you.
Han
Hanâs rapping dramatically, adding sound effects and adlibs, when you suddenly match his energy and destroy the verse. He freezes mid-word, hands on his head. "YO, YO, YOâWHAT??" Looks personally offended, like you just out-rapped him in his own house. "Where did THAT come from?! Have you been hiding this?!" Forces you to do a rap battle immediately. Heâs not even madâjust shook and so entertained. "We need a duo name. Right now."
Felix
Felix is driving peacefully, enjoying the music, when you start rapping perfectlyâevery word, every pause, every switch-up. He grips the wheel tighter. "...Huh?" Looks over at you, then back at the road, then back at you. "I think I just fell in love again." His deep laugh fills the car as he starts replaying the track just to hear you do it again. Now he needs you to rap every song you know.
Seungmin
Seungminâs jamming along, vibing, when you suddenly annihilate a verse at high speed. He stops moving. Just stares. "âŚâŚInteresting." When you finish, he raises a brow. "So, youâve been sitting on this talent while I embarrass myself at karaoke?" Acts unimpressed, but later, you catch him playing that song again just to see if youâll do it. And when you do? Smirks and nods. "Yeah. Thatâs my partner."
I.N
Jeonginâs messing around, rapping with exaggerated confidence, when you casually jump in and outperform him completely. He stops, hands gripping the wheel. "...No way." Heâs laughing in shock, shaking his head. "YOU CAN RAP?! SINCE WHEN?!" Wonât let it go. Will bring it up at dinner. At practice. To the members. "Did you guys know my partner is a rapper? A WHOLE rapper?!"

I seriously love how you write Raph your depiction of him is so aligned with mine. Practically perfect and it really inspires me to expand on my own headcanons of him. I also just really like your style of writing!
I want to know what Raph would be thinking, how heâd react, to his muscular, androgynous s/o wearing a red sundress with their back out and thigh muscles peeking through the fabric
- đ
I hope this is okay. Red is feeling sassy today. đ
Christmas in August
Gn reader x Raphael
August in the city is a special kind of hell. Between the reflections on the buildings magnifying the heat, and the asphalt trapping it, street level was more or less unbearable.
You don't wear short dresses often, you've always been a little self conscious about your legs, but you've been working out recently, with the world's hottest coach, and you're feeling a bit more confident about your body lately.
You turn and admire yourself in the mirror. Not bad. A vintage low-backed halter dress, coming to just above mid thigh, in fire engine red. A lucky find while thrifting with April. You smirk wickedly, thinking about your boyfriend.
You have a shopping date with April in about an hour, and when you didn't find your wallet in your apartment, you had an excuse to torture your beloved.
Grabbing a pair of black retro sunglasses, and throwing on a pair of keds, you make your way out of your apartment and into the oven that has become New York City.
You thank any and every possible supernatural force that Donnie had finished fixing the elevator in the garage last weekend, grateful you dont have to traverse the sewers in this heat, and make your way to the lair.
You step out into the garage, the sounds of the resident mechanics at work echoing off the walls.
"I got it!"
"Do you?!"
"I got it! Just grab the damn jack!"
Raphael holds the front end of the garbage truck aloft, while Donatello reaches under to grab the jack that has slid underneath.
You walk past your boyfriend with a wave of your fingers on your way into the lair, knowing better than to interrupt the mechanics at work. Donnie nearly doesn't make it out alive when Raph drops the truck.
You can hear Donnie yelling at him as you walk into the lair, a smirk turning your lip. Exactly the reaction you were hoping for. You head toward the kitchen and grab a soda from the fridge.
He takes a few steps towards the kitchen with a wicked smile. You are here, and you are hot, and you all his (at least until you have to meet up with April). But he stops, just for a moment, replaying your entrance in his head. He takes a deep breath, shaking his head. There it was, that damn smirk as he dropped the truck. Okay, fine. You wanna play games? He'll play.
All day long, he acts as if nothing is different. Even when Mikey goes gaga over your dress, he only nods. "Of course they look good, they always look good."
When Leo nearly chokes on his coffee as you walk by and tells you how incredible you look, Raph walks by him to pick up his phone off the couch without a word.
He only comes close to breaking once.
You walk into the weighroom, pretty sure your wallet had fallen out of your bag yesterday. Crossing to the bench on the other side, you start looking around.
Spying it on the floor, you brace one hand on the bench, reaching over it with the other and fuck he almost takes you right there. Your dress rides high, giving him a full view of your thighs and just a little of your ass. He catches the black lace panties peeking out from between your legs and groans internally. You were hot before, let's be real, but you've been working out with him lately and it's paying dividends.
He licks his lips as you stand and his eyes trail up your spine, watching the way the muscles he helped you build move.
One deep breath and the mask is back in place before you turn around.
By the time you're ready to leave, you're trying not to show your disappointment. You were really hoping for *some* kind of reaction from your boyfriend. He almost feels bad for fucking with you. Almost.
He offers to walk you out, and he places his hand at the small of your back as you step into the elevator, deflated.
The moment the doors close, you're up against him with your back against his plastron and his thigh between your legs, braced against the door. His hand holds you against him just below your navel, and his head is buried in your shoulder.
"You really think you can show up wrapped up like a god damn Christmas present all for me and expect me not to unwrap you?" His breath pours over you like warm honey as his voice melts into your skin. "Baby, I'm just waiting till Christmas."
You can feel the rumble in his chest at your core, and he rolls his thigh forward, just to make his point, "I'll see you tonight," his voice drops into a growl you can feel inside your chest, "and don't you dare take that dress off."
The doors open, and he sets you down on wobbly legs, just outside the elevator. When you turn around to look at him as the doors are closing, the bastard is leaning against the back wall, arms crossed, looking you up and down and smirking like the devil he is. "Mmm-mm," he hums appreciatively, his voice laced with filthy promises, as the doors rattle closed.
.....

Skyward Sword thoughts but mostly shipping and some LU
Okay Iâm having big thoughts after finishing Skyward sword and theyâre mostly about the shipping (I know Iâm disappointing myself rn đ)⌠and itâs NAMELY⌠Groozelink. But weâll get there. First. Analysis. (This is also gonna swing back around to LU, not yet but weâll get there! In case anyone is confused over the Sun and Sky naming convention)
Skyward Sword is the first Zelda game Iâve played to actually make me kind of ship Zelink. Iâm not a hater, cross my heart, but like, most times I just really really donât ship Zelink. Either canon isnât enough for me or just.. idk, it doesnât appeal to me. Most Zelink ships just donât do it for me.
But Skyward Sword⌠from the beginning they were basically an established relationship which somehow didnât annoy me. I thought they were kind of cute, like first love teens. Sun sticks up for Sky. Nice. Cute. No flaws or annoyances.
But then⌠DRAMA happens and it feeds my soul. I was pretty content in the first acts embarking on this quest for Skyâs kinda girlfriend. She endeared herself to me enough for my heart to be in it. And then you actually see her a few times and sheâs got her own quest going on and itâs like cool⌠how do I fit into this? Thereâs something bigger than the two of them going on now. (I also just really like how they showed that she had a lot going on. Itâs nice to see her have autonomy)
BUT THEN⌠đđđ Sun awakens her identity as Hylia and full on admits that she was using Skyâs affection for her to embark him on this quest which raises a lot of questions. Like:
Is Sunâs affections real or were they fabricated by the Goddess? How much of this was Sun and how much of this was Hylia?
I donât doubt that Sun does have affection for Sky but if it were me, I would be HAUNTED. If I were Sky Iâd be replaying that conversation through my head again and again. Especially in the post credit scene where she starts talking about how she wants to stay and protect the triforce⌠like⌠is that YOU or HYLIA??? And then she asks Sky what heâs going to do and itâs like⌠does he even have a choice? This whole game was kind of leading to the fact that this is what he was made for. Itâs his fate. Of COURSE heâs going to stay with her. But what I want to know is does he ever think about that??? Does he ever wonder if Sun loves him back?
And if I were Sun I would feel guilty, and holy shit sheâs literally cursed, in my opinion, of all the memories and knowledge of the Goddess she once worshiped. And if she does like Sky I bet she would wonder if those are her true feelings or if theyâre just convenient to keep everything in line. Or maybe sheâs scared of hurting him again. One part of her dragged him purposefully into an extremely dangerous quest and now sheâs pulling him into even more serious responsibilities⌠(if I were to character analyze ss!Link I really feel like heâs the type to be really content with letting others take the reins for stuff like this. His quest was really out of necessity. In my eyes)
From here on itâs my own kind of really dramatic fanfic-esque take on everything so if youâre not down me way over thinking and reading into things this might not be for you
Because Groose⌠đ Iâve been aware of Groose as concept and the Groozelink ship for a while now but I always thought of it as a crack ship until I played the game and⌠thereâs a LOT more there than I ever expected there to be. why TF was he there for like most of the key moments??? Why did they become a trio??? Why were they exchanging GLANCES in those cutscenes????
But anyways, I think theyâd get married really soon after getting to the surface. Kind of a shotgun wedding. Theyâre basically going to be the first monarchs of Hyrule (or at least I think thatâs implied?) theyâre at least going to probably be in positions of leadership building the kingdom of Hyrule. Getting married makes sense. They love each other. Right?⌠RIGHT?!?!? That has to be real!! Out of everything at least they still have each other????
I think Sun starts getting eaten up by guilt. She doesnât know if Sky is happy. Heâs a pillar of strength next to her but heâs changed⌠of course he is after what he went through but she knows that heâs upset. Heâs having nightmares, heâs stressed. She thinks that maybe heâs feeling trapped⌠And maybe sheâs whatâs trapping him into this stressful lifestyle. That maybe thereâs some mistrust.
I also think maybe she starts feeling discontent with being the goddess reincarnate. Sheâs still mortal, she doesnât want to be perfect. Itâs getting to her⌠soâŚ.
She turns her eyes on Groose. Groose whoâs gotten so reliable. So kind. So⌠so FINE.
So maybe one night she leans in for the kiss and of course Groose is kind of horrified. Heâs also confused because he loved her for so long but⌠sheâs married!! To his best friend. But. He also knows that sheâs been traumatized and traumatized people do weird things. So he turns her down, with surprising grace, and begs her to consider her husband. He decides he wonât tell Sky, because at the moment that feels like it would do more harm than good. He is worried about Sunâs mental health though⌠but before he can do anything about thatâŚ
Sky tries to pull the exact same thing đđđ
so now poor Groose is trying to figure out what to do bc how do you tell a couple theyâve both tried to cheat on each other and how do you gently tell two traumatized people that maybe they need to pump the breaks on building an entire new country, relinquished care of the triforce for a little bit, and focus on actually healing from what happened to them???
But then Sky gets eaten by a portal and gets thrust into another quest but with 8 other Linkâs just like him.
Sky eventually tells the chain that heâs married to the goddess incarnate. Heâs kind of horrified in himself for making a pass at Groose, kind, reliable GrooseâŚ, so he goes full wife guy iykyk. So for months heâs like: *fists clenched* IlovemywifeIlovemywifeIlovemywife-
To where itâs like⌠part of his personality.
And then they finally do get to Skyâs era and⌠at first theyâre just as lovey dovey as youâd expect from how Skyâs been talking⌠but then⌠maybe over dinner⌠(donât ask me how this happens just let me write my shitty soap opera) Sky figures out that Sun made a pass at Groose. Maybe he finds a letter Groose was trying to draft or maybe Sunâs been trying to get the guy to stay over while Skyâs been goneâŚ
And holy SHIT do they have the fight of the MILLENNIA. But itâs not just Sky going: âomg I canât believe you tried to cheat on meâ itâs âHEâS MINNNEEEEE!!!!â From both of them
And then thereâs screaming, plate throwing, cussing. And then itâs just not about the attempted cheating but every single little thing they can nitpick. All of their dirty laundry out.
And the chain, who were trying to enjoy their nice dinner of pumpkin soup, are sitting in shocked silence the whole time just like: đŚđđĽ˛
Maybe a few of them are secretly relieve bc theyâve had some relationship issues BUT NOT LIKE THIS while others are scared this might be some sort of genetic Link curse.
The fight escalates when Sun pulls the harp off the wall. Sky treats her like she just picked up a loaded gun. Things look like theyâre gonna get worse when they notice Groose standing in the doorway.
Heâs so sad⌠heâs down trodden. He doesnât want his best friends to fight like this⌠heâs going back to Skyloft for a while.
Sky and Sun promise each other to actually talk when Sky gets back home and when he does⌠they do. Because. They do love each other. They just hate feeling like pawns incapable of their own actions and fatesâŚ
And⌠they both really do like Groose. So they talk to him⌠apologize. And the rest⌠đ who knows lol.
They grow not only to love each other more authentically but respect each other in new ways too. They learn to live apart from each other but with each other as well⌠and. They do really love each other.
The end Iâm tried Iâm going to bed đŽâđ¨ I hope somebody else had a similar thought process to me bc this game was genuinely kind of a mindfuck to me (but I loved it). But thereâs SO much to unpack with Link in Zelda in Skyward Sword. Like, it had me going bonkers. If you liked this pls⌠pls talk to me. I NEED to talk about this with someone. This is a cry for help. Pls somebody talk to me about skyward sword it was insane
Edit: and omg what was going on with Zelda and Impa too??? Lowkey Good Luck Babe coded

Hello!
Sorry if this has already been asked before, but do you have any tips for writing Ford?
Thank you and I'm sending you a virtual hug <3 đŤ
Hey!
Thank you so much <3
I'll put some of the stuff I find helps me below here. I find it really hard to describe sometimes so if it doesn't make sense or if you want clarification then let me know :)
Be familiar with the source material. This might sound silly but I've seen fics where the a/n is like 'yeah I haven't read Journal 3 or finished the show but I wanted to write-' .....Please. Just. Finish the show and the Journal. The Journal gives you TONS of useful insight into Ford's actual personality and I think you see a lot more of his mannerisms in it. Rewatch his episodes. Use what you've got of canon stuff.
Watch other stuff with JK Simmons in. It'll be helpful for you to pick up how he sounds and then make it easier replay his tone in your head and make your dialogue more accurate. I don't actually know how helpful this tip is bc I brought this up to my partner (RE: Hearing the character's exact voice in your head as you write) and they said this isn't really something people do, so I'm not sure if I'm alone in that technique or not....? (also sorry Mr Simmons but a lot of your movies are d o g s h i t! So, suffer through them as much as you can for the sake of research. Whiplash isn't in the bad pile though btw, it's one of the greatest movies ever made. Just watch that 14 times in a row until you can quote the entire thing by heart. Or use Portal/Cave Johnson audio. Much more fun.)
Know the Ford you're writing. Is he younger, likely at college? Is he research-era? Is he post-portal? Ford presents (at least to me) as multiple different versions of himself over the course of his journey. He has fundamental traits but the degree to which he displays/shows/acknowledges/applies them varies dramatically depending on where he is in life and who he's around.
Balance him. He's strict and sharp and sometimes rude, but not so much that he's devoid of all other emotion. He's funny and he likes to get silly sometimes. We're literally told that exact thing (quite a lot actually) in the canon material. This is especially relevant if you're writing post portal Ford or pre-Bill/pre-obsession-with-work Ford. Again, he isn't all the time but he definitely is more than people give him credit for. If you're writing Ford during his Bill obsession stage then he's going to be erratic and harmful, more than anything to himself. He's going to be acting poorly because he isn't in his right mind, so extend some sympathy to the guy. You don't have to make it okay that he might be lashing out and hurting others, obviously, but there's a reason behind why he's acting like that. He isn't just 'a bad guy'.
However, he is also an asshole sometimes. Everyone can be. He's very diverse. This diva HAS the range! (He experiences the world in a very different way to most other people, I think, so his behaviour can be perceived as difficult to 'normal' people).
Ford is never one emotion at a time. No character is. If he's angry, there's going to be a reason behind that anger and then several emotions behind that reason. Is he telling someone off because he's intrinsically and irrevocably an asshole? No! He might have been afraid of them getting hurt and snapped at them, and the fear shows as anger. Maybe he's frustrated with them and doesn't know how to appropriately address that frustration. There's always a reason.
If he is just being a bit of jerk, because that's plausible, it's not going to be the case that every time he does something that can be perceived as being jerky, that he is being so.
He is very full of love. For his family, for his work, for his friends, for his object of affection (these tips apply to him in general, if you're writing ship stuff or reader stuff or gen). He is full to the brim with it, he just struggles to identify it, to know how to show it and how to express it.
I think that for Ford, acknowledging his feelings is a bit like touching a hot stove: He recoils from them immediately because feelings are painful and intense, and they're hard to handle. They hurt and he's going to be loathe to keep touching the thing that reliably burns him every time he goes near it. Ford isn't very good at being bad at things and he IS bad at emotions. Really bad. They're not finite or logical or able to be proven like science is. They're artistic and available for interpretation, and they're often nonsensical. That's hard to get your head around for someone who likes to view everything from a black and white perspective.
If you think he has a disorder (autism, BPD, NPD, HPD, whatever) and you yourself don't have that thing, then RESEARCH THE FUCKING THING! Ask people who do have it for advice. Treat it with respect. People that have 'negative traits' from these types of disorders (and believe me, people do think you're awful if you have a personality disorder or autism) are not inherently bad people and them enacting their symptoms doesn't make them evil, provided they know how to acknowledge their wrongdoing post behaviour and try to do better in the future. If I split on someone and act out by starting a fight, it is my responsibility to return to that person and apologise for inappropriately starting a fight once I've cooled down. It can be hard, it can be done through gritted teeth, it will be uncomfortable, but it must still be done because I'm an adult. Obviously, when it comes to things like this, we're always working on a sliding scale because people with complex mental health issues don't always know they've made a mistake so they may not feel like they need to apologise/may not even know that they've done something wrong if they're in a really bad episode. That's difficult to get right however, and I would not recommend writing intensely detailed stuff like that unless you're very used to/accustomed to the disorder.
HE KNOWS HOW TO SAY SORRY and he knows when he's fucked up. This is a skill he's learnt better over time. I think it would be most relevant to use if you're writing him post-portal, though. I don't think this was a skill he had when he was younger/pre-portal and if he did apologise, it was something that had to be really dragged out of him.
Show that he's tender and capable of empathy. I think it was only really during his obsessional years that he locked off that part of his brain, and even then it was more out of pure delusion and trauma/self-protection than it was an inherent drive to be evil. He's never been evil, just misguided, betrayed and a bit of an ass at times.
He does more through action than through talk. In comparison to Stan, who is all mouth and uses verbal communication frequently, Ford is more physically inclined. He tries to be very esoteric but he gives away a lot in his behaviour instead of talking. I don't actually think he knows he does this and that's why he thinks he's super mysterious.
If you're stuck on a scene, play it out as him. Not yourself. It's not so much how am I going to do this, but how is Ford going to do this? What do you think Ford would do in that moment, according to what you've seen him do in the show?
Don't be afraid to make your own Ford, to a certain extent. I'm not writing about a strictly canon!Ford. He's informed by canon for the most part, but he's also my little barbie to dress up and be silly with. I don't necessarily have to solely make him do what I think his canon counterpart would do. I think canon!Ford is aroace/just not interested in romantic or sexual relationships. I don't think he has interest in much of the stuff that my fanon!Ford does, but this is fantasy land and Ford isn't real so we can do whatever we want. He'll feel more real if you give him his canon traits and then add some of your own spices to the recipe on top.
Be nice to him. This isn't advice, I'm just begging you LMAO. When you're writing him talk about his science stuff or whatever, have your other character (reader, I presume?) be engaged and happy to listen to him. I wouldn't be interested in someone who annoyed me with their passions, so don't write it as though he pisses you off because the audience can tell if you don't actually like him that much. They will pick up on how you really feel about a character as the author unless you're an excellent liar and it's really hard to actually lie like that and retain a sense of genuine love in your story. Just treat him with love and care. Treat any character with it.
Okay anyway WHEW that's a lot! Sorry. These are just things that I do and they're not my view of how to write Ford 'correctly' or anything, they're just what I find helps me characterise him for my fics. I'm sure plenty of people would disagree with my interpretation and that's fine, we're all receptive to art in different ways so there's not really a 'right' way to be for the most part. Just listen to what he tells you/shows you about himself and the way in which other characters speak about him truthfully.

okay I've come across a couple different posts about octopath and in stars and time in the last 24 hours. I am deeply considering it (but need to finish DQ3 HD2D remake first). anything I should know going in??
:O omg another octopather interested in isat!!!
Okok uh so. Things you should keep in mind!
1) In Stars and Time covers some pretty heavy topics⌠so please mind the content warnings listed here. (If it doesnât take you directly to the content warning page for some reason, click the 3 lines in the corner, click on âContent Warningsâ, and itâll take you there.)
2) IT IS VERY WELL WRITTEN.
3) isat is definitely a âcheck everything, try everythingâ type of game because there is so much you can find. Even if youâve already checked something, check again!
4) you are going to feel very bad for these characters especially the main character so be prepared for so much angst-
5) keep a save file for every act just in case if youâre the type of person who likes to go back and find things you missed on your first playthrough. (do not be me. I saved over one of my save files after A Certain Pointâ˘ď¸ without thinking abt it, and then had to replay nearly the entire game from a very early point to see something I missed :âD)
6) did I mention itâs well written
7) have fun!
8) seriously though this game is very well writteâ
#thanks for the ask!#in stars and time#I am dead serious about the writing being good like. Hgjrjchdjcjdncn#I genuinely want to write like that one day#anyway if you do play it then I hope you enjoy :D

dragon age: the veilguard - a review: part two - the storyline: act one
hello everyone! this is the first act of the second part of a multi-part review of dragon age: the veilguard.
disclaimer! i am not a professional reviewer, i am just another fan that thoroughly enjoys the dragon age series. my opinion is not at all the pen-ultimate truth, i'm just here to share my thoughts!
criticism and comments are welcome! i appreciate any and all discussions about dragon age! feel free to dm or send an ask if you'd like to share your own thoughts!
if you would like to read part one, it is linked here for your convenience! https://www.tumblr.com/strawberry-halla/767272818181390336/dragon-age-the-veilguard-a-review-part-one
[this post contains spoilers for the entirety of dragon age: the veilguard, please do not click the 'read more' if you do not want to be spoiled! you have been warned!]
hokay so this part is the hardest thing i have ever written...and there are two more acts to write about...woo! i had to replay act one of the veilguard to fully understand the beginnings of the game, since at the time of writing my first draft (when part two was just one post), i kept feeling like i was missing pieces of what i recalled. so! as we speak, i am replaying the veilguard and have just finished act one. but enough about that, let's just get into it.
act one is meant to serve as an introduction (or re-introduction) to the player of the world of thedas. it has been eight years since trespasser, the final dragon age: inquisition dlc, and right off the bat there are major changes in how the story operates.
the prologue of veilguard itself is well executed, i was thoroughly invested in the race against the clock to stop solas, this beginning sequence was executed very well. there are so many emotions in such a short amount of time, and it had my heart racing on my first playthrough that there would be many more moments such as these.
unfortunately, there are few and far between in act one. these first chapters stumble a bit in execution, especially when it came to recruiting the members of the veilguard. some companions wove themselves well into the narrative with their introduction.
for example, lace harding being introduced so early into the game really helped establish a stable footing for returning players such as myself. an old friend to welcome us back alongside varric, and a 'nice character' companion to boot so the new player doesn't feel any awkward tension or disconnection.
the same cannot be said for bellara. i enjoy her A LOT, but her introduction was forgettable. she's the 'quirky girl' of the group, and it took me a bit to actually warm up to her as a character because i was a little off-put by her dialogue. her introduction felt too quick and to-the-point, like the game itself was trying to rush us past this area so we could keep the recruitment train going. i originally forgot in my first draft how bellara even joined the veilguard. nothing interesting happens during this quest. the nadas dirthalen does not seem as important as it really is here because the dialogue skips around so quickly. which leads me to a sort of a side tangent:
i miss the optional dialogue in origins and inquisition when we could ask characters multiple questions to better understand them or things they know about. it certainly helped me understand lore and it also helped me understand the character's motives more. i don't get that in veilguard at all. there are very few instances when you can ask maybe three questions MAX and i cannot even recall it being relevant in act one very much. and it was always during quest dialogue, we could never just go talk to our companions and other npcs and ask them questions. a huge wasted opportunity.
the highlights of act one's main quests are d'meta's crossing, meeting the inquisitor, talking to solas, and weisshaupt fortress. everything in-between felt very surface level. lore, history, and recent events are glossed over so quickly that it almost makes my head spin. solas casually dropping that the black city was the ancient prison the evanuris were trapped in, and the magisters that pierced the veil to get there unleashed the blight is fucking unbelievable. he's like "yeah the magisters breached my prison trying to reach the golden city and were stupid enough to let some of the blight out" like WHAT THE FUCK? and rook does not even seem to care! what is this dialogue???
is this not the same series that carefully built up lore over three games that the evanuris were actually evil mages that oppressed the elves and abused their powers? is this not the same universe where solas was set up to be the antagonist of veilguard, 'the villain was actually next to you the whole time' trope, in inquisition? this same character who carefully and gently guided the inquisitor to the truth is just freely slinging it 'no big deal' into our laps and never again after that? im sorry but holy shit. the way veilguard treats its own lore sometimes is baffling! it doesn't help that everything else important characters can't mention in dialogue is shoved into codices!
there was SO much potential to carefully maneuver the reveals of these lore bombs into more lasting impacts. the game itself has plenty of time for it. i have dropped over 100 hours total at the time of writing this (which is one and a quarter playthroughs for me) and i still don't think the original 70 hours i sunk into my first playthrough was enough. i wanted more. veilguard NEEDED more time to explain itself.
i cannot help but be so upset how surface level the majority of the writing in veilguard is. and i love this game still despite this glaring problem! thankfully, act one is the worst offender. acts 2 and 3 are so much easier to digest, but veilguard's most glaring problems are in act one.
and do not get me started on the minrathous/treviso decision. this choice irks me. it COULD have been impactful. making rook doubt themself, their leadership, and their ability to make decisions. but it doesn't even matter? or at least it FEELS like it doesn't. because everything characters talk about regarding this decision is the same. "oh it sucks here now! why did this happen? here's a quest where you try to salvage something of this tragedy and someone unimportant dies! oh no! you should feel bad this happened because it was your fault!" uhm okay?
there were no significant cutscenes or cinematic moments with this decision that made me feel anything. and also, this came so out of left field. i searched for any sort of foreshadowing that this was about to happen and there wasn't. there were no notes, no codices, no dialogue from the venatori or antaam that hinted that something of this magnitude was about to occur. it just happens.
at least with inquisition, for example, the decision between choosing the templars or mages to ally with there is a sense of foreboding. that something is wrong with both factions. it's up to the player to decide where to go from there and the consequences of not choosing the latter feel REAL. you see the actions of your consequences before your very eyes when corypheus attacks haven and even after!
there doesn't feel like there was any consequence to the minrathous/treviso choice because later down the line, the storyline converges and there are no alternate paths. you can still talk to the major faction characters from both sides. they end up being okay in the end anyways.
i want raw consequences to my actions, bioware. i want to feel the turmoil of my choice and be excited to try the other option in another playthrough to see what could have been.
to set aside the negativity for now, i will praise veilguard's execution of the relationship in act one between solas and rook. rook is wary of solas and his intentions to help them. solas is very different here from his humble beginnings in inquisition. he's not even solas. he's the dread wolf, fen'harel, general and cunning trickster. this side of him was so jaw-dropping to see, a complete 180. i loved every second of it and i loved having my rook disagree with him at every turn. it was incredible. i was eager to speak with him at every opportunity.
i was also thoroughly impressed with the pieces we got of elgar'nan and ghilan'nain, more so the latter. ghilan'nain is an abomination. she is driven mad with blight and uncaring to the core. she is willing to do anything it takes to win, even at the cost of many lives. she takes those lives and twists them into something truly monstrous. and she thinks this is saving them. making them better. ghilan'nain is so blind to her horrible experimentation that even elgar'nan is wary. elgar'nan is hardly seen in act one, since he is presumably working to create the red lyrium dagger, commanding the venatori and antaam to do his bidding, and working on reviving lusacan. it's a little disappointing we don't see fractions of his power throughout, but we truly feel his threat in later acts.
another worthy note of act one is the handling of d'meta's crossing and weisshaupt fortress respectfully. the former, we are introduced to the blight and boy do we know something is definitely wrong with it. the portrayal of the blight in previous entries has always been unnerving and creepy, very gross and skin-crawling. veilguard takes this notion and cranks it up by ten. i didn't even want to walk near the blight boils because of how ominously gross they were. i was afraid something was going to burst out of the blight boils and grab me. so cool.
and the fact this blight swallowed up an entire village and its population in a matter of days is insane. in origins, when we were dealing with the blight, the spread felt much slower and looming. in veilguard, the blight is unstoppable. unyielding and horrifying. it took over the minds of the few surviviors of the village and turned them into thralls. it consumed the dead and grew more blight in its wake in a matter of moments. nothing could have stopped it. not even the grey wardens. this is when you start to feel the evanuris's power is truly otherworldly.
in weisshaupt, this notion was taken to the extreme. there is no timeframe of how long it took for ghilan'nain to gather her darkspawn army, blight two dragons, and experiment on her archdemon, but it feels like no time at all. she has an unstoppable force of blight, she is its commander and nurturer. and in a matter of minutes, in the first time since before the first blight a thousand years ago, the grey wardens almost fail in their oath. they lost the fortress that was meant to withstand the blight in all its glory. the only reason they survive is with rook and the veilguard's help.
the first warden's ego almost destroys the entire order because he thinks the grey wardens know all the answers. it drives home the fact that the grey wardens are not heroes. they were merely the best answer to the blight. they are not perfect. they are corrupted by their own power, the very notion that only they can defeat the blight. i love how veilguard drives this idea so far home. inquisition set up the pieces with 'here lies the abyss', 'the siege of weisshaupt' just allowed for everything to fall into place. a wonderful execution, truly. sadly the stumbling we had to do to get here almost outweighs this incredible end to the first act. and like many others, i almost let the glaring flaws blind me.
i do not hate dragon age: the veilguard. i actually love it a lot. i just have a lot of criticisms on how easily and quickly things are glossed over to keep the story moving. i want to sit and chew on my food, damn it.
again, act one was the most difficult for me to write about because it has the most problems. veilguard's act one missed so many opportunities in the first part of the game to be better. i know this is in-part an issue with the executives and leaders at EA. in addition, all its development woes. i still have great respect for the writers, developers, artists, graphic designers, animators, programmers, and the many other people that made veilguard happen. i believe veilguard is a good game. it has its flaws like its predecessors and i have accepted them. i hope many people who have written off veilguard as a failure give it another chance.
thank you for those who have read this far. i truly love the dragon age series and what it has meant to me will forever be impossible to describe. this review is not over, i will be tackling act 2 next once i finish replaying it. thank you again for reading!

Can I request Aramis for the "Give me a character..." game? đđ
Hell yeah you can!! And excellent timing, as I'm replaying the game and just finished Drakenhold >:3c (also going to put this under a cut due to spoilers)
How I feel about this character.
I REALLY love him! I went into the game blind in comparison to my friends (who played the demo and/or followed updates leading to the release) so I had no clue who would be a Me Character and damn, Aramis checks off a lot of my boxes. He's very pretty, love his personality/backstory, and he's a blast to use in combat. What's not to love?!
All the people I ship romantically with this character.
Gloucester bc I'm always soft for retainer/royal dynamics, but also the whole "we haven't seen each other in years and can finally reunite" bit. And especially with their rapports, Aramis seems very at ease around Gloucester in comparison to others. Like he almost puts up an act with those he's not really familiar with? Or doesn't trust?? It's hard to explain, but I like how candid Aramis is with Gloucester and I LOVE how fiercely loyal Gloucester is for him đ
My non-romantic OTP for this character.
I really enjoyed his rapport with Travis!! It was great seeing them bond over books. Also the tension with his brother, Gilbert, was really lovely; they both want to support Drakenhold, but in very different ways, plus felt like their royalty was hindering them, in a sense (also in different ways).
My unpopular opinion about this character.
I don't... think I have one really? My only pet peeve is less of an Aramis-specific thing and more of a general slash-specific thing, bc I don't enjoy some fanart depictions of him with Gloucester and he's like, VERY small and thin. They're literally almost the same height and Aramis isn't built much differently from some of the other guys, but that's a can o' worms for another day jkdsalkjdfksajfkls
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.
Again, this is a general gripe with the game, but I really wanted to play matchmaker with EVERYONE and not just with Alain >:\ if this was a Fire Emblem game, I would've S-ranked Aramis with Gloucester in a heartbeat.

Mission Impossible: a Crazed Ramble by tentacledwizard
Re my mission impossible ask: gonna share my thoughts bc I just finished watching the series (sans 2 and 3) and boy do I have Thoughts. I think Iâll cover the ones Iâm most interested in (Ghost Protocol, Rogue Nation, and Fallout) though I might ramble at u about 1 and 7 later lmao. So okay here we go
Ghost Protocol. I REALLY liked this one. This is 2nd on my ranking of MI movies.
This movie has the best team vibes. Might be my favorite iteration of The Team, even if Luther isnât really there. I just got really emotionally attached to these guys and their interactions lmao..
I liked Brandt. Jeremy Renner didnât have to do some heavy-duty acting for this role, and he didnât. His role was to be small and cute and tormented, and it worked. So well that I mumbled âwhere is my wifeâ when I watched Fallout, and my brother looked at me strangely.Â
Jane Carter holy moly. Dude you were NOT kidding about Jane Carter. I love her so much. I love how sheâs not even slightly the love interest, how her and Ethanâs interactions have this respect and camaraderie, and even when they kiss itâs not romantic. Itâs great. Loved how she got the dudely âgotta avenge my dead wifeâ backstory with her boyfriend getting killed, and how that propels her most ruthless actions. I guess Iâm pretty much agreeing with everything youâve said about Jane lmao. SHEâS GREAT. Also loved it when she fought LĂŠa Seydoux, it was pretty cathartic. Let female characters be driven and reckless and (eyes Rose Lalonde pfp) yeah
Benji Dunn the man that you are. Okay Iâd say that Benji is at his best in the next movie, but this is a damn good introduction. Heâs newly promoted, a little bit out of his depth, and Iâm a sucker for funny nerdy sidekicks okay. Gonna talk about him some more when I get to Rogue Nation probably.
Ethan Hunt has the best haircut in this film. Idk man thatâs my Ethan Hunt commentary. Oh wait it was also funny when he wore the mustache
I GOT ALL FLUSTERED WHEN LĂA SEYDOUX WAS ON SCREEN. I DON'T KNOW WHY THIS IS. HOW PECULIAR
Didnât watch 2 and 3, so the brief glimpse of Julia was very intriguing and bittersweet. Then of course in Fallout she Julias all over the place!
OKAY NOW I CAN TALK ABOUT THE BURJ KHALIFA
Iâve actually seen the Burj Khalifa irl and it is SO TALL (I know, very surprising) so I cannot wrap my head around the fact that this scene was shot on location (??) I need to look into that more.
I am a dork and I do not know much about how stunts and action scenes are calibrated, hence the sheer delight I derived from the way the camera moves in the Burj Khalifa scenes. Also my hands got really sweaty during the first half. (The âblue is glue, red is deadâ part reminded me of âhasta lasagna donât get any on yaâ IDK MAN)
I spent the wall-climbing section gazing at the TV rapturously and occasionally mumbling âuh oh,â âEthan Hunt: Human Geckoâ or âthe climberrrrâ alternately. I literally was not hearing myself because I was watching so intently. My breath was BATED lmao.
And like Iâd seen the gif sets, I knew he was gonna jump but I didnât know when. So when Ethan does jump, itâs so sudden that you canât help but go :O !! And it works. Anddd thatâs my favorite stunt in the film (i am an easily impressed nerd with no technical knowledge but i AM dying on this hill. The Burj jump would impress ANYONE and for good reason)
I am replaying this scene in my head over and over. Itâs just. Itâs so good. My reaction to it reminded me of when I watched [S] Descend and it just Worked and I was amazed. To say nothing of Cascade lmao. Actually yeah this kind of is Cascade in a sense
I'm sure none of this commentary is really original, but I really love it when Tom Cruise does a big jump heh. I am a simple man
So yeah this film is easily my 2nd favorite. Itâs character-driven, thereâs comedy elements, the way the team interacts and collides and argues with each other is wonderful. And I believe in Jane Carter supremacy. Â
Oh yeah, Bogdan was funny too. So many good + funny moments here :D
Wait how could I forget the best character (the Russian man who has an enemies-to-friends arc with Ethan)? Love that guy.
OKAY this is too long so Im gonna separate this into 2 parts.
they sent three asks and then I responded, we're gonna use a cut here, LONG POST!!!!!
@tentacledwizard PART 2.
Rogue Nation. This oneâs my favorite! I like how it begins not with Ethan but with the Team, because their interactions are good. And of course Ethanâs trying to jump on a plane. Just another Saturday.
I am not very good at talking about plot so letâs talk about Benji Dunn
ok wait first I gotta say that I like how they played with the usual IMF message. The âwe ARE the syndicateâ got me. Really good moment, and I bet if I rewatched it Iâd catch all the little details that made me suspicious of whoever was talking.Â
Anyway Benji Dunn.. the man that you areâŚ
Like I said, Benji is at his best in this movie. Thereâs so many little moments that cement his greatness. Heâs gaming on company time! He lies about not being Ethanâs friend on a daily basis :( also the sincere dorky smile he does on his way to the opera is so wonderful.Â
I really like how sincere Benji is. Heâs genuinely looking forward to the opera, and heâs eager to wear a mask someday, and he cares about Ethan so much. Yeah heâs a funny little British man but heâs also v sweet and you can see why Ethan goes crazy and kidnaps the prime minister to get him back.Â
speaking of, I really think that Benji and Ethanâs relationship is⌠if not the core of the movie, itâs definitely a major part of that core. Does that make sense? Like, I tried to take a picture of the screen every time Ethan and Benji glanced at each other knowingly, and I ended up with a lot of pictures. Even with the 6-month separation (Ethan with a beard is something I never thought Iâd see), they know each other. Ethan knows Benji wants to see the opera, and Benji will yell at Ethan when Ethan needs to be yelled at. Ethan compliments Benjiâs tuxedo (as he should).
Also ffffuck whenever these guys worry about each other⌠like when Benji tells Ethan heâs probably going to take it too far one of these days.. Man. The scene where Ethan washes out of the giant torus with Ilsa and Benji goes to talk to him is so good.
oh and yeah Ethan did kidnap the prime minister. For benji. HE DID THAT!!!
Also the scene where Benji is forced to speak for Solomon was honestly incredible, it was like Ethan and Benji were having their own separate conversation with eye contact. When Ethan briefly put his hand on Benjiâs shoulder, maybe to reassure him without having to talk, and Benji glances up at him⌠thatâs good stuff right there. When Benji was finally able to talk it was cathartic. God I love these two
Plus the opera fight scene is so fun oh my god.
ok letâs talk about my queen Ilsa Faust
Ilsa Faust is great, and I really like how this series does female characters. Because she has her own shit going on, thereâs a bit of romance between her and Ethan but theyâre both agents with missions, and sheâs never sexualized. I love that. Her signature move is filmed the way a male character would be filmed if he were fighting. Thatâs awesome.
I really loved Rebecca Fergusonâs performance here, the conflict between saving others and saving herself was neat. Itâs also interesting how she has way less reservations about killing people, which plays off Ethanâs⌠everything. And she never makes it easy for Ethan, which Iâd honestly do too if I was involved in the shit she has to deal with.Â
But of course there are moments that show she does care about him (asking him to run away, the scene where she saves him in the underwater whirly spinner). The hug was pretty sweet.
Also, Ilsa is when I started really paying attention to the outfits in MI, because all of her looks were great. The yellow dress is iconic, and I REALLY liked the pleated coat she wears when talking to Solomon Lane. Plus the suit she wears in Fallout is Good.
Solomon Lane is a good villain. Jim is the MI villain I think of when I think of MI villains, but Solomon is very distinctive. I mean that voice, man. The VOICE. Lmao. He kind of reminded me of a parasitic worm made human, which is a 100% good thing.
So who has the more distinctive and weird voice? Solomon or Claire? That is the question. (I think itâs Claire tbh. Four am, four in the morning, four o clock)
So this is my favorite MI film. Itâs fun, it has a good villain. We see Ethanâs personality start to shine through, too- heâs emotionally driven, as evidenced by when he fucking DOES ALL THAT TO SAVE BENJI GOD I LOVE THESE TWO. So yeah, this is the Ethan and Benji movie to me. Itâs also a stellar debut for Ilsa Faust⌠wait what do you mean she gets fridged in the 7th movie. What do you mean
OH Jeremy Renner is still here! And more Luther! Hell yeah.
really want to rewatch this one so I can take more notes on the stunts and stuff, too
Ok time to make a part 3 because this is ridiculously long
PART 3
Fallout. Oh man. This one messed me up.Â
So from the start, Fallout is a darker, queasier watch than the previous two. The more I watched, the more I realized that this movie Is Ethan Huntâs Nightmare.
Like thereâs the straightforward nightmare at the beginning, and then the film just Doesnât Stop. It keeps messing with our minds again and again.Â
This is the Ethan Hunt movie. This is our deep dive into Ethan Huntâs mind, and at some points it kind of feels like a test of how well we know him- because he wouldnât kill all those people, so this must be another nightmare, right?Â
I am used to vivid nightmares, and this film perfectly captures the sheer horror of having one. And I was constantly doubting my own perception, bouncing between bad dream and reality along with Ethan. Man.
Like Mission Impossible has always kind of had that element, what with the masks and everything, but this film dials it up to eleven. I recognized the horror of Ethanâs situation here, and it was a feeling that stayed with me the entire time.
I mean at some points, it gets surreal. The line about Ethan literally being his own worst enemy (itâs true!), his wife showing up in little glimpses until she finally appears, Lane pinpointing Ethanâs fears, etc. When Ethan looks around at the church and says heâs terribly sorry, itâs such a small moment but itâs still kind of a gut punch. Ethan Hunt is trapped in his brain and so are we.
Even the title sequence shows everything burning around Ethan. The full theme song sounds like itâs going to end, but then it keeps going. This movie feels way more apocalyptic than any of the others.
Even Max is dead. I mean come on.
And we see how this screws up Ethanâs judgment, how his priorities are a little fucked in the grand scheme of things. He puts a few people over millions, for better or for worse.
Ethan Hunt running is an iconic part of the franchise, but what happens when all the messed-up stuff he went through catches up with him? What about the fallout?
So when the ending rolls around, it feels like Ethan is waking up, and that lends it a certain catharsis. But the uneasiness of most of the movie still stuck with me for a long time afterward.
Okay letâs talk about the new characters.
Alanna was neat, and I liked her outfits too. Though every time she flirted with Ethan, I had this vivid mental image of Ethan driving up and yelling âI fucked your mom, shit lips!â Probably something heâd say to Zola instead though.
Walker was such an asshole and that was kind of great actually. Not a single redeeming quality to be found. Have fun falling off that cliff, johnny boy.
Oh yeah and he got to say the only âfuckâ in the entire series I believe. (It should have been Ethan. Well I can always hope.)
That conversation Ethan and Benji have about how Ethan wonât let anything happen to him, but then later Ethan does something that seems to put Benji in danger (making him be Solomon Lane)? Chefâs kiss. Also Benji FINALLY got to wear the mask, and heâs damn good at it.
More of Ilsa and Ethanâs relationship and man is it complicated haha. I like the scene where theyâre walking through a symmetrical landscape, just paralleling each other, until finally theyâre face to face. Thatâs good stuff right there. Also the scene where heâs in the hospital bed was sweet.
My wife [Brandt] is not here but luckily we get a lot of Luther. Luther is the constant in this series- heâs stuck with Ethan from the beginning, for better or for worse. (Better, because heâs a good character). So Luther really cares about Ethan, evidenced by his conversation with Ilsa. He probably knows Ethan better than anyone, except maybe Julia but then again she and Ethan have been apart for a while.Â
Julia was great. The scenes with her and Ethan were v bittersweet. They still care about each other (just look at Ethanâs constant guilt over not protecting her), but sheâs living her own life now. The conversation they had near the end was the culmination of all this, the moment we were waiting for. Plus I enjoyed her friendship with Luther, like I enjoyed Ilsa and Benjiâs friendship. The scene where theyâre cutting the wires/talking about Ethan was cute.
as for the stunts, hmm⌠I didn't really get the level of physicality I got from, say, MI1 or Ghost Protocol. Idk man maybe Iâm just biased against helicopters?
ALSO I really like Face/Off and Hit Man so the John Lark thing was p cool to me. Ofc John was the asshole CIA agent though.
Anyway good movie, might take some time before I can rewatch it but itâs a masterful delve into Ethan Huntâs mind. Not my favorite but also really really good and I wrote the most about it.
Conclusion. Wow thatâs a lot of thoughts. Probably too many to put in one ask. Uh I kind of also want to talk about MI1 and Dead Reckoning as an echo of MI1 but this was a lot so idk if youâd want me to do that lmao. Anyway I have to thank you for convincing me to watch Mission Impossible all those months ago, because it is one of my obsessions now. (If you read all this I am sorry lmao, hope it wasnât boring tho)Â
And now I can finally read your Benthan fic! 8D hell yeah.
okay now it is my turn to reply
I frankly adore Brandt. I've joked to Brandt that I don't really ship Benthan, I just use it as a vehicle to write William Brandt and have him tell jokes. I adore his angry little bureaucratic ass. I am actually a fan of Renner when the material gives him actual shit he can do. Like, he was fucking WASTED in the MCU and the "Hawkeye" miniseries proves he could have been having fun this entire fucking time but they never GAVE him anything. And even if his role in MI is simple, McQuarrie is so damn good at writing characters that Brandt feels vibrant. In GP he goes from sad sweater boy to lowkey the weakest link of the team but everyone is there to help him. And in RN there's a THOUSAND lil moments I love with him. I always point to Benji's interrogation scene, there's a VERY VERY PRECISE bit of editing where Benji is going off on a tirade about how the CIA sucks, and the camera lingers on Brandt LITERALLY JUST LONG ENOUGH for Renner's mouth to make this tiny microexpression, like TWO FRAMES of Brandt indulging in admiring Benji's lie-craft.
Also the argument in the bigass car with Luther was Renner improvising according to McQ. Love it. Brandt's my angry little pencil-pushing angel. Any time he shows up in the PT AU, I'm đđđ
GP lives and dies on the team dynamic tbh, which I find hilarious bc imo MI3 was pronounced dead on arrival bc the team dynamic is non-existent and like, why am I even here???? the chemistry is truly batshit.
IF YOU WOULD LIKE ALL THE TRULY MIND-BOGGLING FACTS BEHIND THE BURJ CLIMB AND HOW TERRIFYINGLY PRACTICAL IT WAS check out this post
Also Ethan's gorgeous LEAP at the end of the sequence is my second-fave Physicality Moment in that movie. The first is of course Ethan's silent vault over the railing after he leaves his prison cell. I'm a slut.
and I bet if I rewatched it Iâd catch all the little details that made me suspicious of whoever was talking.
oh you want a fun one? in the record shop, there are two listening booths. ethan goes into the one on the left.
Solomon Lane is sitting in the one on the right.
re: Benji in Rogue Nation, I mean McQuarrie himself has said Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn is the beating heart and soul of the Mission franchise. so don't worry, we ALL stan.
ILSA FUCKING FAUST. /fans face. Yeah, the way MI handles women is like⌠I don't know how to go back to, like, James Bond films. I keep remembering Skyfall (which I remember as a good movie) and how one of the ~bond girls~ is casually executed and the whole point is how unfazed everyone is, how DISPOSABLE she is, how James Bond as a franchise wants backpats for pointing out "man it sure sucks how disposable women are in these spy flicks huh"
smash cut to Ghost Protocol, Rogue Nation, Fallout, and ESPECIALLY Dead Reckoning.
I keep saying this but MI manages to pull off the Metal Gear thing in that the Male Gaze of the camera is thoroughly bisexual. Long before we see Ilsa's amazing leg shot at the opera, we get a long lingering shot of Ethan's tiddies, and the way he's held captive is very female-coded, the position, the way he tries to wile his way out of it, the barefoot thing, all of it. There's such intense intentionality with how MI frames bodies.
Hell, I've been flicking between MI and the X-Men AU movies and comparing Ilsa to Mystique is super interesting because both of them fight with their legs-first. But the choreography of Mystique always has this "heh heh heh naked legg" feeling, while with Ilsa, her fighting style is so consistent, it feels like a natural result of her build and how she utilizes momentum. I remember there's a fast moment in Fallout where she very casually assists Ethan by taking out a guard as he extracts Alanna, and she does her leg flip thing. It feels Correct for her, rather than the MCU "make sure you fight pretty" bullshit.
Anyway I love Ilsa but Benji is actually the Love Interest in RN and we all know it.
"wait what do you mean she gets fridged in the 7th movie" SHE DOES NOT GET FRIDGED i am gonna die on this fucking hill, that Ilsa's death was good and actually meant something
Anyway I cosign all your thoughts on Fallout. I think it's the best movie and frankly I think it's a cinematic masterpiece. The claustrophobia of it, the nightmare of being Ethan Hunt, the repeated use of dreamlike imagery to convey that we're falling further into that nightmare with him, AND THE ENDING. I find the ending so bittersweet because yes, Ethan and the team pull it off, they push at the edges of possibility and reason until the universe yields and gives them the win
but then Julia says "I know you'll always be there" and its like watching a door slam in Ethan's face. He's always going to be in this dream/nightmare, a world that exists one layer removed from reality, and he can't get out. It's amazing. I want to kiss McQ on the mouth.
That Ilsa-Ethan scene was not in the original script and TC suggested it day-of and they just did it and its one of the most beautiful shots of the movie, with the green trees melding with the slight green tones of Ilsa's outfit and with Ethan's eyes. The fact they have an entire conversation between Ethan and Ilsa's eyebrows. I love them.

TattooArtist! Jungkook-đđť:
"I can't wait to get to know you better then. Then I'll tell you my entire name.", I flirted with him unintentionally as I finished my purchase and signed my name on the card reader to receive a bill back in paper form. I was one of the few that didn't know his bad reputation with women, as I'm not part of the party scene and with him asking me out on a date, it was settled when he'll be able to make time for me. "Only if it's a successful one, I'm a woman of class after all. I expect the best of the best~", I winked at his direction to joke around some more before slinging my purse over my shoulder and bidding goodbye to him, and his passing colleagues that thanked for the pastries to leave through the door.
It was a wonder how easy it was to get a date, especially when it's someone who is that attractive and has no ring on his finger yet. I just hope he's at least not engaged or anything like that, but considering his reputation of sleeping around he needs to be worried about not getting STDs and UTIs. Thankfully it was a day-off for me so it wasn't as spectacular as it was for Jungkook that has been taking care of clients afterwards.
The man rolled his eyes at your playful comments, but lowkey starting to like this side of you, "Hush, leave or I'll start charging by the minute" He teased waving his hand towards your direction as you left his office. Jungkook sat their for a moment replaying some of the moments between you two, a few making him chuckle, but he didn't dwell on them long before getting back to work.
Surprisingly the rest of the day wasn't so bad and went by pretty quick, the clients were descent and he overall was in a good mood which is rare, "What's got you acting so polite? You're usually pissed when someone vomits" Soyeon chimed in leaning on the doorframe of his office, referring to his last client, an 17 y/o getting their first tattoo, "Yeah well he's just a kid so, can't really yell at him" He brushed her off while cleaning up before leaving for the day.
Soyeon poked her cheek out with her tongue and arched a brow, "Uh huh, okay" She replied, not buying his reasoning whatsoever, "I just find it odd, you've been acting polite since that female client you had earlier" Jungkook stopping for a moment, irritated that Soyeon was always so good at reading him, "Whatever, can you fuck off? I'm busy" The women just chuckled, "Aw, kookie has a crush-" "I said fuck off!" He glared at her, holding the door handle threatening to close on her. Soyeon rolled her eyes but was internally enjoying her victory.
After cleaning, Jungkook locked up his office waving to his coworkers before leaving through the back. He stood by his motorcycle, putting on his helmet and pulling out his keys starting the engine and headed home. He was still pissed about before, if Soyeon was able to read him so easy, soon enough everyone else would be too. It scared him.

The word is WONDERFUL
W - where Liam had scribbled his message in messy, unmistakable handwriting.
I remember you said you read The Hobbit when you were younger. I thought you might like to read this one, too. Something not as depressing as Frankenstein. Merry Christmas.
O - over the ink, the words burned into his mind and heart. He had replayed them so many times, in the quiet moments before sleep, in the rare lulls during work. He could picture it vividlyâLiam hunched over the book, his brows furrowed as he concentrated on getting the words just right. Theo wondered if Liam had smiled when he finished, satisfied with his effort.
N - Jenna approach until her voice broke the stillness.
âYou know,â she began, stepping into the room with a steaming mug of tea in hand, âI donât think Iâve ever seen Liam give someone a thoughtful present like that before. He really likes you.â
D - head snapping up. Jennaâs words hit him with the force of a hammer, and he felt the familiar coil of anxiety tighten in his chest. âUh, yeah, well,â he stammered, shifting uncomfortably on the couch, âLiamâs⌠thoughtful like that.â His attempt at nonchalance fell flat.
E - Steady, and, as always, disarming. âI think itâs more than that,â she said, her tone gentle but pointed. âLiam talks about you a lot, you know. And the way he acts around you... the way he looks at youâŚâ She trailed off, taking a small sip of tea before setting the mug down on the table beside her.
R - creeping up the back of his neck. He felt exposed, like Jenna had reached into his chest and pulled his secrets into the open. âIââ He tried to find the words but faltered, his gaze dropping back to the book in his lap. âI donât know what youâre talking about. Liam is just... Liam.â
F - soft chuckle filled the room, tinged with maternal fondness. âTheo, I know my son,â she said, leaning forward slightly. âLiam isnât just Liam. Sure, heâs sweet and kind when he wants to be, but heâs different around you. Youâre important to him. And,â she added, her voice softening further, âI know you have your own kind of feelings for him.â
U - couldnât bring himself to meet her gaze, couldnât let her see the longing heâd spent months trying to bury. Yes, he wanted Liamâwanted him in ways that were selfish and consumingâbut Jenna was wrong. Liam didnât see Theo the same way. Their bond was something special, yes, but it wasnât love.
L - gently, her sincerity cutting through the tension in the room. âI didnât mean to make you uncomfortable. I justâŚâ She paused, choosing her next words carefully. âI hate to see you both unhappy when thereâs something real here. Something worth holding onto.â

my words are BLEED and FERGALICIOUS (obviously this will be from can't help myself (red looks beautiful on you)
B-âBack so soon, little wolf?â Theoâs raspy voice breaks through the sinking silence of the cold basement with some bite. His voice was hoarse as if he had spent his day screaming for hours on end. Always screaming, never sleeping, hoping Liam would hear his howls and come back to him. Heâs been good, waiting for him each time, never leaving.
LâLiam came back to him. It was less and less these days, leaving a terrible ache inside of Theo. He missed the beta something awful and would do anything for his attention againâjust for him to look at him. It was like he was scared of what he might find or do.
Eâ HE didnât know anymore. He just wanted. He could feel his hands shaking at his sides, too scared to move for he might not be able to stop. He didnât want to stop. And that made him angry.
Eâ HE couldnât give in this time. The sound of his voice had him wanting to move closer, to touch him. His only mistake was coming here, setting off a ricochet of consequences. He knew he couldnât stay away for too long. He was addicted and he needed more.
Dâ Did that make him a monster?
Fâ Fuck it!
Eâ Theo leans into his touch âEager and hopefulâ breathing in lungfuls of the werewolf. Itâs been so long since he could breathe him in like this, so close he can practically taste him on his tongue. He tasted like the sun. When Theo instinctively reaches for him, Liam pushes him back, straddling his hips. He pins Theoâs arms above his head, the metal bars cold and unforgiving against his skin. Theoâs breath hitches, a smirk stretching his face as he feels claws leave crimson scratches on his wrists.
Râ Regardless, his only reaction is a quick pause at seeing the chimera. He looked small behind the bars; willing. The door remained open and unlocked, but Theo stayed. He wasnât sure what to say. He didnât trust himself when he felt this primal urge inside of him, telling him to tear Theoâs clothes off of him. He wanted to touch him, bite him, feel the blood on his fingernails as he sliced into his skin. He wanted to watch his claws rake down his back, blood flowing behind. He wanted to lick up the crimson and listen to the beautiful noises coming out of his chimera.
Gâ âOh my God will you calm down before I actually give you a reason to freak out.â
âYouâre about to inject something in me that might possibly kill me. What about this should not be a little concerning?â
âThe part where you trust me.â
Aâ As if he was counting down to the days when Liam would leave him for good, nothing but a pile of rust; forgotten.
Lâ Liam doesnât respond; heâs quiet. Heâs surprised to find Theo sitting in the cage like he has done something wrong.
Iâ It was only wishful thinking to expect him to resist a gourmet meal laid out for him. He wouldnât just walk away when he was starving.
CââCome on, little beta,â he never stops, his voice dripping with mischief. He wanted Liam to react. âYouâve thought about it, havenât you? Youâre here, Iâm here. Let me help you. I know what you need.â Liamâs eyes flick over to him. âI can give you what she never could.â
Iâ In two strides, he was at the cage, shoving the door open and slamming Theo against the bars. Itâs the closest heâs been to him in a long time.
Oâ âOf course not,â his gaze drapes over Liam, âbut I know what you want. I can make it better for you.â He gasps as he feels Liamâs hand tighten around his wrists.
Uâ Unlike Liam, who canât decide on which emotion heâs supposed to be feeling. Was it possible to feel everything all at once? Theo is supposed to be the collected one of the two, but here in front of Liam, he is the exact opposite.
Sâ âStop lying to me!â Liam seethes. âI know you want this. I can smell it all over you.â His nose glides across Theoâs cheek as he leans in, eyes closing and breathing in his scent. When his eyes open, theyâre shining an electric amber. âBut itâs so wrong, Theo.â His thumbnail is stroking along the pulse in the chimeraâs neck, his claw elongating across so lovingly. âWe shouldnâtâŚâ

hey!! can i request a bts reaction of a video of them with their s/o going viral but the fans donât know itâs them? like they are dancing in the rain or being cute at a mall and someone records them from afar and posts itđđđđ id love to see how theyâd feel about it please
A video of you two goes viral ~ BTS Reactions
A/n: Dearest anon, I'd like to thank you SO MUCH for this request because it made me brainstorm those stressed fleshy lobes inside my skull and I ENJOYED WRITING THIS SO MUCH!! I really really hope everyone reading this would enjoy it as much as I did :)
Kim Namjoon:
"I'm actually blushing," Namjoon let out an embarrassed chuckle, replaying the video for the sixth time and subconsciously pulling your hand closer to his chest.
"It's a wonder people don't know it's us," you giggled, "we look cute."
"We do," he gushed, tapping the replay button to play it again. In the video, Namjoon was leaning against a wall, and a moment later, you skipped your way over to him, pulled his mask down just enough so that it was below his mouth, and then leaped up to kiss him on his lips.
Namjoon could still feel the blush that had crept up his neck when you kissed him, and he began to laugh when he saw himself being all nervous and looking away when you put his mask back on.
"It's embarrassing to see myself in this, I've never seen a video of us before."
"You look like a giant in the video," you pointed out with a squeal, gently squeezing his muscles.
"And you look small," he smirked, turning to you and kissing your cheek. "Really small."
"If the video was taken even a little closer, I'm sure people would've known that it's us."
"I know right," you acknowledged, double-tapping the post and saving it.
"It seems like the person who recorded it was trying to get the cafe behind us, but got us instead."
"But people are going crazy over it," he observed, opening up the comments section.
"Couple goals, oh my gawd they're so cute! He's so tall- damn right he is," you huffed, squeezing his cheeks with your fingers and shaking his face cutely.
"My boyfriend is tall."
"You never stop telling me that," Namjoon rolled his eyes.
"As if you want me to."
"That's right. Keep telling me how tall I am and maybe I'll pull your mask down to kiss you next time."
"You'd never. You hate PDA."
"Don't challenge me."
Kim Seokjin:
"Babe, what color did we wear last week to the airport?"
You looked to the ceiling, trying to remember. "Um, yellow? I'm not sure."
"It's us," Jin confirmed with a nod, walking towards your table and holding the phone in front of your face for you to see.
"There's this video that Jungkook sent me, I guess it's going viral but they don't know it's us."
"Wait-" you scoffed in disbelief after reading the caption, "'what a loving father'?!"
"It looks like a father is taking care of his daughter," Jin chuckled, "not everyone opens up a burger for their significant other."
"From which angle do I look like a daughter?" you asked him incredulously, taking the phone from him to watch the entire video again.
You clearly looked at least three times smaller in size to him because of the chair - which was broken and wouldn't go up - and Jin and his broad shoulders were the only things that were actually visible; including the way he expertly opened the packaging of the burger, folding it so that you could hold it well and then giving it to you, finishing his lovely act of service with a fond pat to the top of your head.
"Are people actually thinking I'm your daughter?" you looked up at him.
"They don't know it's us," he patted your head just like he did in the video, "but they clearly think it's cute."
"You're finding this funny?"
"I kind of am," Jin admitted with a laugh. "You look cute, I had no idea I even did that. All I could think of was getting on the plane and falling asleep."
"Well," you looked away with a shy giggle, "I do remember thinking of how sweet you were when you did that for me."
"Now we can remember it forever," Jin gestured to the video.
"I would've, even if it wasn't recorded," you grinned up at him. "I always remember the little things that you do for me, it makes me feel special."
"My little babie," he cooed, bending down and squishing your cheeks lovingly.
"I live to make you feel special."
Min Yoongi:
"You are the sweetest human being ever," you stated firmly, looking across at Yoongi with tears glistening in your eyes.
"What happened now?"
"This happened," you handed him the phone, watching the way his eyes widened slightly in realization.
"Someone recorded this?"
"That's secondary," you insisted. "How can you be so sweet?"
"What's sweet in that?" Yoongi laughed, replaying the video once again. "I just didn't want your clothes to get wet."
"But you could let yours get wet?"
"I was wearing a black hoodie, it wouldn't make much of a difference," Yoongi explained. "You were wearing pink, it would've darkened if you got the rain on you."
"Yoongi," you crawled over towards where he was seated, holding his knees and shaking your head.
"All of that doesn't matter to me, I just- you're too sweet. No one has ever done this for me."
"I know," he touched the side of your head gently. "Even though you deserve it. I'd do this a hundred times over, only for you."
"Ah," you sighed, looking away, overwhelmed with emotions.
"Why are you crying, baby?" Yoongi took a hold of your face, setting the phone down and making you face him.
"I just gave you more space under the umbrella, that's all. It's nothing to cry about."
"It is!" you cried, throwing your hands into the air. "It makes me feel so special and horrible all at the same time. I didn't even know you were getting wet in the rain, but the thought that you'd do that for me makes me feel happy."
"You little thing," he chuckled fondly, pulling you closer and placing your head on his chest.
"This is nothing compared to what I want to do for you, bubba."
Jung Hoseok:
"I look like an egg."
You cackled at Hoseok's words, slapping his shoulders playfully at how deadly serious he was looking.
"No, you don't!"
"Yes I do, I look like a rich egg."
In the video that Jimin had sent you, Hoseok had no make-up on with his hair hidden behind a red beanie. He had marched over to where you were standing by the counter, turning you around and holding three hangers with pretty dresses against you to see which one would suit you best.
"I don't even know why I did that, I look like a fool trying to see which one looks nice when I ended up buying them all."
"It was quite funny," you nodded with a laugh. "I was looking for some comfy slippers for you. It's even funnier that we were buying things for each other."
"You didn't even buy me those," he narrowed his eyes at you.
"I bought you the jacket that you wanted," you scoffed. "You told me not to buy the slippers!"
"You told me not to buy the dress either."
"No, I didn't? There's a video as proof!"
"Shush, now." He rolled his eyes, quickly changing the topic.
"How do people not even know it's me? I look so... me."
"You actually do. Look at those calves."
Park Jimin:
"That's what every boyfriend must do," Jimin pointed to himself, squirming around in the confined space of the couch to take a closer look at the picture.
"Every girl dreams of having a boyfriend like you, Jimin," you touched the side of his face tenderly.
Jimin smirked in response, sending you a wink before snatching his phone from your grip.
"I'm sending this to Jin hyung as proof."
"Proof of what?"
"That my feet are not smaller than yours."
Your head fell back against the arm of the sofa, a mighty laugh tearing through your chest.
"That's something only Park Jimin would need to do," you teased.
"Well, you're wearing my shoes here, so of course, my feet aren't smaller than yours. Otherwise, it wouldn't fit, no?"
"Yes baby," you giggled at the way he didn't even realize he was pouting.
"Send me that video, please."
"I already did."
You lazily pulled your phone out of your pocket to open up the video, watching with a fond smile as Jimin stopped you in the middle of the road, made you take your heels off, and gave you his own sneakers to wear. Jimin walked the rest of the journey in his socks, holding your hand firmly in his with your heels held in the other.
Right next to you, Jimin was already on the phone with Seokjin, pointing animatedly into the air as he tried to prove his point to his hyung.
"I told you I don't have smaller feet than her!"
Kim Taehyung:
"I can't believe someone got this on camera," Taehyung murmured distractedly, eyes solely focused on the two of you dancing in a garden.
"This looks so much more romantic than it felt," you observed.
"I know right?" He looked up at you. "These look so much easier in the movies, the rain kept going into my eyes."
"And my hair was stuck to my neck, I probably looked so ugly," you chuckled.
"No, you didn't," he frowned. "You looked like an angel that night."
"And you looked like my prince," you pulled his cheek fondly.
"I am your prince," he rolled his eyes dramatically. "Your prince who wasn't strong enough to not let you fall."
"It was an accident," you giggled, remembering the way your heel sunk into a wet patch of mud and you were falling sideways before Taehyung could grip you.
"At least whoever recorded this stopped it in time," you pointed out.
"Maybe they shouldn't have," Taehyung smirked. "They would've got the kiss, too."
"Right," you laughed. "That was the messiest kiss of my life, I'm pretty sure you got some dirt into my mouth."
"Admit it, the kiss made you feel better though," Taehyung defended himself. "You looked like you could cry after falling."
"You sure you talking about me?"
"Who else, then?"
"You, of course."
Jeon Jungkook:
"Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait," Jungkook pushed you away when you fell onto his lap in a fit of laughter, zooming into the video and trying to confirm if that was really the two of you, before throwing his head back with his eyes squeezed shut.
"What the heck!"
"That's us!"
"I've seen this video before - how did I not know that's us?!"
"Holy shit," you wheezed, slapping his thigh repeatedly. "That was so long ago!"
"Oh- wait, you're the small one," Jungkook pointed to the screen.
"Yeah, no shit, I am," you nodded, pinching the inside of his arm which pulled a squeak from him.
"Were we drunk?"
"I guess so," you giggled, placing your hand over his to look at the video. "Oh my god, that's embarrassing to look at now."
"I'm jumping like a kangaroo," Jungkook cackled loudly. "What! Why did I even do that?"
"Only you can do a cartwheel in the middle of the road."
"Wait, isn't there a kis- OH MY GOD WE KISSED!"
"We did," you chuckled at his reaction. "Yep, clearly drunk."
"Why on earth is this video so long? And oh em gee we're wearing onesies."
You looked up at him with your eyes wide in disbelief.
"Did you just notice that?"
"I mean," he shrugged sheepishly. "Yeah."
"Wow, no wonder you didn't know it was us."
"I can see that cute little butt of yours," Jungkook smirked, pointing to the slightly long tail that was attached to the back of your tiger onesie.

Here we go! Breakfast Tea's (vaguely) coherent Survivor Thoughts!
Spoliers under the cut. You have been warned.
Cal - HOW MUCH TRAUMA CAN YOU PUT ONE PERSON THROUGH?!?!?! My heart aches for him. When the game tells you to use his dark side powers in the third act, I absolutely refused, hoping the game would auto-continue because I refused to engage. NOPE! NO CHOICE. And okay, yeah, it was A LOT of fun but ow ow ow ow ow. He needs SO MUCH TIME to heal. The end of the game hit so hard because it feels so heavy and uncertain. We don't leave off with Cal feeling hopeful for the future. He admits he's scared, oh, and by the way, STILL TAPPED INTO THE DARK SIDE. Throughout the whole story, he just goes and goes and takes blow after blow, and then it ends with him hearing Cere. Watch me write fanfic set after the game in which I send Cal off on his own because REASONS. Ahem, anyway!
CANON JEDI CANNOT COOK AND ALSO DRINK TEA, THANK YOU.
BD-1 - BD remains the best droid. The BEST. He is always there for Cal, and he's so happy to see Cordova. And when he hugs Cal after Cere dies? *sobbing* Also, it did NOT escape my notice that the option to EMBRACE THE DARK SIDE comes up after Bode punts BD across the chamber. I LOVE THIS LITTLE DROID SO MUCH.
Echoes - I love how the echoes work in this game. The entire quest starts out partially because Cal finds an echo. Some echoes are visualised, and you can re-experience them, which is nice to see in canon. Cal also walks through Dagan's memory which intrigued me. Basically, they remain completely integral to both Cal and the wider narrative.
Also, as a game, it is just a lot of fun to play. There are puzzles that make you feel clever for solving them. Combat was fun and exciting, I loved all the lightsaber forms, and I have learned that I am over-reliant on Slow in JFO. Honestly, it's all still buzzing in my head. I need to replay it at a much slower pace now that I can relax about spoilers.
The Mantis Crew - While I knew they would've all gone their separate ways, it was still a lot to take in. It makes sense to me (Greez isn't cut out for this, Merrin wants to see the galaxy, and Cere's longing to reclaim the Jedi's legacy), and I'm glad everyone got together eventually, but I missed their vibe... At least we got flashbacks!
Cere - Absolutely devastated at her loss. She was Cal's mentor and therefore basically doomed by Star Wars law (she's the Obi-Wan), but it absolutely destroyed me. And it destroyed Cal, too. Cal, who was hanging by a thread for so much of this. Losing her, and the way he lost her, was too much for him. I wanted to see more of her SO MUCH, but I understand why we didn't. Ooof, I'm not getting over that anytime soon. I got my wish to play as her (and yes, she's WAY stronger than Cal), but... but...
Bode - I had a strong feeling he would betray Cal, but I had no idea WHY. It was a really nice touch and worked really well. His motivations make perfect sense, and they aren't some galaxy-bending quest to rule over others - he's just a father desperate to protect his daughter. I *love* how this series tells personal stories in the midst of such *literal* spectacle. Cal chasing after him, everything that's happening because Bode's a traitor... ow, ow, ow, ow, ow. And then the end, when Cal kills him to save himself and Merrin? GoodBYE. Oh, and now I'm walking around finishing up missions and there are NEW ECHOES EVERYWHERE that come from Bode.
Cordova - WHAT?!?!?! I screamed, I cried, first when he turned up, and then again when he died. Agony. I am in AGONY. I can barely think about the game right now without breaking down. Also loved the reference to Qui-Gon Jinn, although I also think that makes Cordova a lot younger than I've been headcanoning? Oh well!
Merrin - She remains so much fun. Her and Cal's relationship wasn't what I wanted, but it was handled well enough. The whole fight with the two of them against the giant drill was AMAZING. I absolutely loved the visualisation of her warping power. Oh, and when they take shelter from the sandstorm, and she holds his hand while he's having a nightmare? Perfect. While I would've preferred the two of them remaining friends, them being together doesn't bother me too much.
Greez - he is just so worried for Cal. HE MADE UP A ROOM FOR CAL IN HIS CANTINA AND MAKES HIM TAKE A NAP AND THEN WAKES HIM UP LIKE OLD TIMES YES I AM ALREADY COOKING UP A FANFIC FOR THIS I CAN'T HELP IT. I love how he's always checking in with Cal, making sure he's okay, telling him VERY firmly it is not his fault when Cere dies. Oh no, here I go again, can't stop crying...
Koboh - I love that town and building it up. I'm nowhere near finished yet, and in no rush to do so.
Finale - it took me a while to really sit and take that ending in. In recent years, we've become so used to second parts of trilogies not really having dark and uncertain endings that it really hit me how bleak it initially feels. We are leaving Cal still mourning, still struggling with his own darkness, still hurting... and that works. It works because he isn't finished growing and learning. He's a survivor, but he's a long, long way from thriving. The ending fits. It hurts. Everything hurts. But that story got the only ending that fit how dark it is.
Hey. Hey, Sequel Trilogy. THIS IS HOW YOU TELL A COHESIVE STORY ACROSS MULTIPLE PARTS.
HATE VADER'S REDEMPTION EVEN MORE THAN I ALREADY DID, THANK YOU.

Ice and Roses

Chevalier x female reader, Gilbert von Obsidian x female reader
Chapter Two
You had gotten in touch with Clavis first. He had been surprised, yet delighted to see you again for the first time in months. He claimed you must really love him if you found a way to see him again. You ignored it and mentioned your true intentions. Of course, he was surprised at how sly you were being. Though he understood you entirely, considering how things were left.
This is how you were now waiting in Clavisâ territory at a cafĂŠ. Rio claimed he was going to check out the area since you insisted you wished to meet your date to the event alone.
âWhatâs a little rabbit like you doing all alone, hm?â
You flinched as you felt a tingling sense of danger spread over you. The man you knew best as Chevalierâs rival appeared in your line of view and sat down beside you. His crimson gaze fixed on you, and a chilling smile spread across his face.
âIt seems like youâve become more comfortable around me than before.â He began before leaning in close to you. âPerhaps I should remind you why you should rethink being even the slightest bit comfortable around me.â
Every part of you was telling you this was a bad idea. However, you wanted to finally leave a mark on Chevalierâs heart. You didnât need to speak, as it seemed Gilbert was already somewhat aware of what you wanted to ask of him.
âWill you be my plus one for the debut of ââ
Gilbert placed a gloved finger against your lips as his smile widened.
âEscorting me as a way to provoke that beastly king? Heehee. I always knew you would come to me eventually. I had no idea it would be this way, though. It seems like perfect timing, and Iâd love to see Chevalier squirm when he realizes that I succeeded in stealing you away from him.â
It couldnât be further was the truth. You were intrigued by Gilbert as far as feelings went. You were still merely an acquaintance. Thanks to Clavis, you found yourself tied up in something awful with Gilbert prior. This time, you had no hesitation about associating with Gilbert as this was of your own volition.
His thumb gently ran over your lower lip, his eyes following his thumb.
âI have stipulations for agreeing to this.â
âOf course, I would expect no less of you.â
He chuckled as his eyes met yours, and he withdrew his thumb from your lip. The sensation of his thumb tracing your lip lingered. You averted his steely gaze.
âFirst, letâs enjoy this time together and talk, shall we?â
That grin always made you feel as if he was plotting the worst. In this case, it was scarier than Clavisâ usual smiling face.
By the time you finished sorting out the details of your arrangement with Gilbert, you were drained emotionally and mentally.
âAre you sure you want to do this?â Rio inquired concerned.
âIt will be fine, Rio. I canât go back on it now. Gilbert made sure of that much.â
âI dont like that guyâŚyou are putting yourself in danger.â
Even if Rio was right, you had already made your decision, and now you couldnât go back now.
Later that night, as you were lying in bed, you replayed the conversation you had with Gilbert and his demands for the upcoming debut in less than a week now.
âFrom this day forward weâre dating. Iâll send a messenger with details of where weâll have our tryst.â
âHow often will we be meeting?â
He smirked, his red eyes held mischief.
âAs often as possible, we must make our relationship believableâŚacts wonât do at all around Chevalier. You know the sort of man he is after all.â
âYouâre willing to do all of this for one night of showing off in front of Chevalier.â
âIâm not just doing this without reason after all. Everything I do has a purpose.â
If that was the case, you wondered what Gilbert was already plotting. Though you had an idea of what it might be.
               âOkay, what else?â
He was silent for a moment as his eyes fixed on yours.
âWhen you are out with me you arenât allowed to look at other men. And if you do, Iâll punish you.â He mused as he reached out his hand towards yours, his gloved fingers brushing along the lengths of your digits.
âOkay, well is dancing with other men, okay?â
               âNo.â He replied curt.
He moved his chair beside you. His hand flatted out over yours before his fingers wedged between yours and clamped down. His arm wrapped around your waist as he pulled you near him. His lips a whisper away from the shell of your ear. His hot breath sent a shiver down your spine.
âAny man who dares touch you will wish he hadnât.â
His voice was sultry but as seductive as it sounded you knew his words were a threat. You turned to and your noses were almost touching.
âBy the time Iâm done with you little bunny, youâll be lost without me.â
Something about the way he said it almost made you believe he was right. He released his hold on your hand as he reached up and caressed your cheek with the pad of his gloved thumb.
âWeâll go over the rest of my demands at a later time, for nowâŚletâs enjoy our tea time shall we?â
You shook your head to clear your head. If he had already managed to make you think of him like this, then he had already somewhat won.
The following morning, you woke up to a commotion. Startled by the loud noise, your heart pounding and the next thing you know you hear a knock at your door. You pulled the comforter back as you stand to your feet.
âRio? Is that you?â You questioned as you pulled a robe over your nightgown.
There was no answer, and it had become eerily silent as you wrapped your hand around the doorknob before twisting it open. When you pulled the door open, no one was there. You were baffled as you glanced out into the hall, no one. It was a small place you shared with Rio just until you could both save enough for a bigger place. You were about to sigh in relief when the door abruptly closed and a hand covered your mouth as well as an arm wrapping around your waist.
               âYou look frightened.â
Your whole body tensed as you knew who had snuck into your room. You wondered how he had managed to do it. The window was closed and if that was the case did he sneak in when you werenât looking orâŚyour face paled at the thought of how long he had been in your room watching you sleep and you didnât know he had been in there.
âDonât scream, you understand what Iâm saying right?â
You nodded and he removed his gloved hand from your mouth. He turned you to face him, you furrowed your brows. He smirked.
               âWhat are you doing here?â
âWhy, to see my adorable rabbit. Though you donât seem too pleased to see me. Now, why is that? Do you dislike me watching you sleep?â
You knew it.
âHow long have you been here?â
His smirk only widened as he grabbed your hand in his before pressing his lips on the back of your hand.
âLong enough, donât worry I wonât hurt you. Iâll only treat you with kindness and gentleness.â
Somehow the way he said that made you feel uneasy.
               âWhat about the noise outside?â
âOh? Well, isnât that your puppy preparing your breakfast. Such a loyal thing, I canât help but wonder why he would still bend so far just to please you when you donât seem to hold the same feelings for him.â
You were about to respond until you noticed Gilbert glance over toward your open window.
âIt would seem my time here is over. Iâll be awaiting the next time I see you.â He took your hand once more and kissed your palm this time before taking his leave.
Escaping out your window. Now you saw it had been open this whole time. You sighed, you needed to make sure to lock your windows. You glanced down at the hand that had experienced Gilbertâs tender kiss and left you oddly wondering what it would be like if he kissed you on the lips.
â(Y/n), I have your breakfast, is it okay to come in?â Rio called from behind the door.
You felt your cheeks warm at your unbelievable thoughts. There was no way you were going to let Gilbert win you over. You were using Gilbert not the other way around.
               âYou can come in.â
Rio opened the door with a smile and you couldnât help but return a small smile.
âI apologize if I woke you up. It would seem I pulled out a pan and all of them came tumbling out of the cabinet at once.â He sighed, disappointed with himself.
You giggled upon hearing what that commotion was from earlier. Well it was no surprise considering the kitchen here was much smaller but it was cozy and you had no qualms about living where you did. It was foolish for you to believe you could love a prince when you were just a commoner.
Rio sat the tray down beside you as he took a seat beside you on your bed. He frowned.
âI made your favorite breakfast and tomorrow do you want to go pick out your dress for the upcoming ball?â
âThank you, Rio. That sounds wonderful.â
He smiled, seeing you had cheered up a bit.
âIâll be downstairs, oh! And the books you ordered came in.â
Your eyes lit up upon hearing that. âThatâs great! Iâll be down in a few moments to check them over.â
Rio grinned and nodded as he left you to enjoy your breakfast and dress for the day.
When you finished breakfast and dressed in your usual attire. You made your way downstairs to check over the books from Benitoite. You spotted the package on the table, and you pulled the twine string that was wrapped around the brown paper wrapping. Opening the paper, you saw all the volumes and individually inspected their condition. After finding little fault with the books, you picked up the one you had been awaiting for. The Art of Love and Warfare.
It had been a book you had been meaning to read in Chevalierâs private library. However, you never had the chance. So many books you wouldnât be able to have access but this was one you had recalled. Chevalier always called you simple-minded and you believed it was partly due to all the romance novels you could possible find.
You wondered why you had come to have such feelings for a beast like him. The one prince in which everyone tried to stay clear of, the one thing you couldnât do. Itâs how you ended up falling for him slowly but surely. Something Chevalier had taken notice of and kept trying to push you away. However, even he had let you in more than he would have liked.
The nights you had spent in his bed, even if he told you he would indulge you. He did so for a while, still he was able to act as if you were nothing to him. Especially the last night, you shook your head you couldnât think about these things not now.
You opened the book and you were only going to read the first page, however one page turned into another and before long you had been drawn in by the tragic story unfolding before your eyes on the crisp paper.
The tale of a brutal warrior named Zephyr who massacred thousands in war. Known as a heartless demon and is feared by those around him. He grew up as a mistreated boy as he was a bastard born from the union of a nobleman and a servant woman. He lost his mother at a young age to illness and was left with instructions to flee to his uncleâs home who was an imperial knight. His uncle took him in and taught him swordsmanship. He became a sword for the country he lived in, defeating countless enemies.
Until Zephyr encounters Mariette a white witch who crosses paths with the warrior. Slowly befriending the warrior as they meet often at the garden which brought them together. Until the meetings turn into late-night trysts. After several passion-filled nights, Zephyr had never told Mariette of his proposed marriage to the crown princess. When the princess discovers Zephyr has fallen for Mariette she tears them apart with black magic. Brainwashing Zephyr into thinking he had been put under a spell and the witch doesnât really love him. Believing the princess for the fact of not knowing if Mariette had used magic on him. He confronts her ready to kill her only to find she is with child.
Telling her to leave his sight, Mariette in tears as she tried to prove he was under the influence of black magic used by the crown princess. Furious with her he tells her he hopes to never see her again and if she returns to him, he will kill her. Heartbroken, she agrees to never see him again.Â
A year has passed by and Mariette hears of the announcement of the wedding of Zephyr and the crown princess taking place next month. She laments the loss of the only man she loved but knows she got the best of him. The three-month-old baby was evidence of that. There were also rumors of dark magic users spreading throughout the country. Mariette was growing concerned of what could happen. She couldnât prove the crown princess was using black magic but it was obvious with how she had turned Zephyr who had shown her so much love to suddenly turn so cold toward her.
By the time you had reached the climax of the story where Mariette goes against the Crown Princess you were brought out from the world, you had delved into by a visitor. Â You blinked and looked at the time.
It was already three in the afternoon.
However, the visitor standing before you was one you had not expected to see again so soon.
               âYouâre back?â
âYes, it would seem that wayâŚChevalier would like a response to the note.â
You knit your brows together and Rio who had been standing off to the side flinched.
       âNote?â
The long haired man flit his eyes over to Rio. âYes, it appears your companion seems to know exactly what Iâm speaking of.â
Rio was sweating nervously. âLook I can explain (y/n).â
âRio, why didnât you show me?â
He rubbed the back of his head as he walked over to you and placed a neatly folded piece of paper in front of you. Meanwhile the knight was glaring daggers at him.
âI didnât want you to be hurt again.â
You sighed as you picked up the note before you and opened the paper.
This is an indefinite waste of my time and I have no idea why I feel the need to explain myself to a simpleton like you. If you must know you have proven yourself in an interesting way. I never hated you infact it was the opposite and I knew I had to distance myself for the future of Rhodolite .As I told you before I do whatâs best for the kingdom. That being said Iâll be waiting for you to prove yourself once more. Iâll be waiting.
You wondered what this meant and if Chev expected you to determine which would be the better queen candidate for him. However, that wasnât really your choice to make. You were a little upset with Rio. Though you couldnât be angry with him for keeping this from you since you lnew he was trying to protect your feelings.
You glanced at Chevalierâs knight who was waiting patiently for your response. You grabbed the nearest sheet of paper and pen you could find and penned your response.
Your Majesty
I hope this letter finds you well. I am quite surprised you reached out to me in such a way. I will accept your invitation. I do have a plus one and I hope you will be welcoming toward him. I look forward to seeing you Your Highness.
Sincerely,
(Y/n)
You folded the paper and handed it to the long haired knight.
âBefore you take your leave I have one question. What is Chevalier achieving by inviting me to this ball?â
The knight gave a steely gaze before taking the letter note from you.
âI donât believe itâs my place to say my lady. Iâm sure His Highness will explain when he sees you. Enjoy the rest of your evening.â
You watched as he left out of the shop and you sighed. Something about this had you concerned that Chevalier had a plan in mind from the moment you left his room for the last time three months ago. You shook your head and Rio approached you.
âPlease forgive me (y/n) . I didnât mean to hide it from you. I just- â
âItâs fine I know why you did it. Besides, I canât be too upset when you helped me through all this mess to begin with.â
Rio couldnât look you in the eyes from the guilt he felt and sighed. He wasnât sure how to make it up to you.

Hi! I was wondering if you'd to a pt.3 of s/o who acts like Tsukasa? I find it really interestingđ
Teru and Hanako with a s/o like Tsukasa pt. 3âŁď¸
Warnings: yandere behavior, kidnap, murder, toxic relationship, death, trauma, not proofread-
A/n: your wish is my command!!
Part 1
Part 2
It took me a while to think of a part three so it might be bad and ruched- I hope you enjoy<33
"so Teru? what will it be~?" You purred as you looked up at him. Teruâs eyes narrowed as he didnât know what to do. His blade is at your neck, if he kills you, he can be free and go home. But this was different. He couldnât kill you like he killed other ghosts, you were different to him. You meant so much to him. You were the first supernatural he trusted, one of the first people he actually let in and told his problems.Â
âAw what's this? Is someone scared of killing me~?â You continued to tease him, causing his heart to sink.Â
âI will kill youâŚâ He mutters.Â
âThen do itâŚâ You moved his blade to your chest, letting it press on your skin causing you to bleed. Your cheeks turned red at the thought of him killing you, you wanted him to be the reason you are gone from this world. You sighed when he wasnât moving and just looked at you with tears in his eyes. He was pathetic. You kidnapped him yet he canât kill you for freedom.Â
âJust kill me already Teru!!â You shouted at him, now angry. You caused him to jump. âYou weak exorcist! You canât even kill me!! Just do it!âÂ
You soon felt a sharp pain in your chest, looking down you saw the blade piercing you.Â
âYou did it⌠you really did it!â You smiled excited as you felt your body burn in pain. Tears fell from Teruâs eyes as he watched you, he couldnât move. He wanted to help you, but he knew he shouldnât. He had to hold himself back. You fell to the ground, feeling your body give out on you. You were leaving this world once and for all and it was Teru who was taking you out of it. He took his katana out of you and glared down at you.Â
âWe are done.. goodbye Y/nâŚâ He says as he walks away from your body.
"Wait... aren't you going to finish me off..?" You muttered, your smile turning into a frown. Was he just going to leave you there? He didn't respond, only left you in your weak form.
That was it. These were his final words to you.Â
Teru loved the moments he had with you
He loved you so much, but he couldn't let anyone else be in danger because of you
He had to end you, but he can't shake how much you enjoyed it
You enjoyed it. You wanted him to kill you.
He will never be able to forget the way you looked when you realized you were impaled
He sees you whenever he's fighting other supernaturals
It haunts him
He would also have dreams about you for a while
Replaying memories and such
But some are definitely nightmares
He will sometimes dream about you killing him or someone he loves
He will wake up crying
He can't stand he
It hurts him how much he loved you
It was a month after the incident and he hasnât seen you. He started to calm down from the incident, finding ways to cope with the loss of Yashiro. He thought she was a great friend but you killed her. Why would you..?Â
He quickly shook the thought out of his head. There was nothing he could do now, she was gone.Â
âHanako!â Kou entered the bathroom smiling âIâm here!â While Yashiro was gone, Kou still stayed everyday to help with the cleaning. Kou wanted to also be there for Hanako during his time of grieving, thinking that being there to continue cleaning as usual would be best.Â
âHey kid..â Hanako smiled softly, grateful for the company. Kou grabbed a bucket and rag, starting to wipe the mirrors down. The two boys started light conversation, the energy low besides a few laughs here and there. Hanako wasnât in the mood to fake a smile around the kid, Kou knew and let him be himself.Â
Suddenly a dark present settled in, causing Hanako to shiver from the feeling. Something wasnât right.Â
âHanako? Whatâs the matter-â Before Kou could finish his sentence, his face was smashed into the mirror. Hanako turned to him to see you. He felt his body shake as he body went colder than it already was. You grinned as you let Kou fall to the ground.Â
âHi Hanako! Miss me~?â You had a dangerous look in your eye. Your cheeks turned warm seeing him completely scared of you. He was defenseless.Â
He prayed he would never see you again. He couldnât begin to think of what would happen or who would get hurt if you showed up again. He couldnât think. He could barely hear anything that was happening. He couldnât stop himself from crying.Â
âY/n..?!â Kou looked up at you. He wanted to exorcize you so badly. You killed Yashiro, he could never forgive you.Â
âHanako⌠answer me~?â You approached him, wrapping your arms around his neck. Tears formed in his eyes as he stared at you. He felt like he was about to fall apart. Kou stood up and grabbed his staff, pointing it to you.Â
âWhat the hell are you doing here Y/n?!â Kou shouted at you, causing your attention to turn to him.Â
âI just wanted to talk~â You pouted, pushing Hanako onto the windowsill, you sat down on his lap. âSo, tell me boys⌠whatâs new~?âÂ
Hanako was shaken when he saw you again
The feeling and shock of when you killed his friend rushed back to him
He didn't understand why...
why...?
He would do anything to forget you
He had to forget you, you were such a bad memory to him
He knew he couldn't think of the good times because he would feel bad
You were terrible
He was hoping that his slap to your face was the last he would see of you
Guess he was wrong.
