The Christmas Wish: 1/4
Tumblr media
Merry Christmas, @snowbellewells ! You have become such a sweet friend to me, so I wanted to gift you with something this holiday season. Since we were talking about Hallmark Christmas movies the other day, I thought the perfect gift would be writing you a Captain Swan version of one! I hope you enjoy it and have a wonderful Christmas with your family.
Many thanks to @kmomof4 for being my beta when I know this week is busy with your family. Thank you so much, my dear friend!
This has four parts and one chapter will be posted each day this week, with the last one posting on Christmas Eve. It is loosely based on a Hallmark movie starring Jessie Schram, funny enough, called The Birthday Wish. This fic is set in 3b, but sticking to canon didn’t work at all with what I wanted to do, so it ended up being canon divergent. I think the only canon part that remains is Zelena. There’s no Rumple, no Neal, no cursed lips, no time travel. Yeah, I know, not much canon left, haha. Let’s just say this is more character driven . . . .
Summary: Emma leaned forward, closed her eyes, and a wish bubbled up unbidden from the depths of her heart. "I wish I could just have a simple, domestic life. Is that even in the cards for me?" Breath left her on an exhale just as the wish floated through her mind, and the candle blew out. The "answer" to her wish had to be some kind of trick, however. After all, it wasn’t as if anything in the vision she received could ever in a million years be real. It was ridiculous. Captain Hook, the father of three driving a minivan? Impossible.
Rated G for Hallmark movie levels of fluff and Christmas feels

Chapter One: The Vision
“Mom, come on! It’s already started!”
Emma hadn’t seen her son this excited since they left New York. Henry was standing in the open door of their room at Granny’s, shifting with nervous excitement from one foot to the other. Emma was on her hands and knees with her head halfway under the bed. Where the hell had her other boot gotten to? It couldn’t have just disappeared. Then again, this was Storybrooke . . .
“Everything alright, lass?”
The sound of Hook’s voice made Emma jerk backwards and smack her head against the bed frame. She scowled at the pirate who was now standing at Henry’s side as she sat up on her knees rubbing the lump that was rising on her head.
“Where’d you come from?” she muttered as she rose to her feet. A dust bunny tumbled from her messy hair, tickling her nose and making her sneeze.
“Sorry,” Hook apologized with a slight smirk that made her think he wasn’t all that sorry.
“I can’t find my damn boot,” Emma snapped at him, almost as if it were his fault.
“Want me to help you look, love?”
“Mo-om,” Henry whined.
“Actually,” Emma replied, pushing her hair out of her face with one hand so she could look at the pair in her doorway - one on the cusp of adolescence and the other looking far more handsome than he had a right to in those ridiculous pirate clothes. Anyone else would look like they were headed to a tacky Halloween party. “Could you take Henry down to the Christmas carnival?”
“I thought we were going together!” Henry exclaimed.
Mom guilt slammed into her at his crestfallen expression. Between figuring out this new curse and trying to stay one step ahead of this wicked witch (Wicked Witch of the West? Seriously?), Emma knew she had neglected time with Henry. It was so different from what he had been used to in the life they had built in New York, and she hated letting him down. Not to mention that at twelve, Henry wouldn’t be wanting to hang out with her for too much longer, and she was missing it.
“I’ll be right down. It’s gotta be around here somewhere.” She really needed to buy an extra pair of boots, but frugal habits born of so many years on the streets didn’t go away easily.
“I’ll guard him with my life if necessary,” Hook swore to her solemnly.
Henry rolled his eyes. “First off, I’m twelve, not two. Second, it’s a Christmas carnival. What’s going to happen? I get hit in the head with a candy cane?”
Hook just arched a brow at her, and she shook her head ruefully. Little did Henry know. Sometimes his lack of memories stabbed her with even more feelings of guilt. She waved him off.
“I know, I know. Just get down there and teach Killian how to overdose on Christmas sugar.”
“Will do,” he told her joyfully as he shot off towards the stairs, Killian hurrying after him.
Emma collapsed onto the bed for a minute once they were gone. She’d told her mom
that having a Christmas carnival on Main Street was a bad idea with the Wicked Witch still out there. On the other hand, she had yanked Henry out of school, dragged him away from his friends and the life he had known, and brought him to this bizarro town. Now he was having to celebrate Christmas here, too. They didn’t have a tree or the Christmas decorations they had bought together last year. They hadn’t made cookies and hot chocolate for their annual viewing of Home Alone. Of course, technically, it was only annual in memories that weren’t real, but that was beside the point. The point was she was now ruining her son’s Christmas too. Ever since he heard about the Christmas Carnival, he’d set aside his Nintendo DS and his cell phone for the longest span of time since they’d arrived here.
Emma got up and resumed her search for that elusive right boot. She finally found it wedged beside the TV, hidden by the window curtains. She yanked both boots on, then turned to glance at her reflection in the mirror. She frowned at her tangled hair and grabbed a brush. Once her golden hair was glistening and smooth, she grabbed her lipstick and reapplied it. It wasn’t until she was touching up her mascara that she scowled at herself in the mirror.
Who exactly are you primping for, Emma?
She refused to answer her own subconscious as she tossed the mascara angrily onto the vanity. It bounced and slid into the sink, but she just left it there and marched out the door.
The Christmas Carnival was literally on her doorstep, filling the street in both directions from Granny’s patio. A choir of children from the elementary school stood on a stage near the post office belting out Christmas carols, led by someone who looked a lot like Mary Poppins (she probably was Mary Poppins, Emma thought with a chuckle). Leroy and some of the other dwarves had gathered around a booth where you were supposed to toss as many bean bags as you could into the mouth of a giant wooden snowman. Merry Men cheered and laughed as they took turns trying to pop balloons in a dart game. There were plenty of other typical carnival games: ring tosses, coin drops, wheel spinners, and one of those “go fish” games where kids tossed a clothes pin at the end of a string over a blanket and one of the nuns from the convent attached a bag of Christmas candy. There were also merchants with booths selling all sorts of handmade Christmas gifts, and food booths offering everything from hot chocolate to corn dogs to cotton candy.
She found Killian and Henry fairly quickly. They had found David at the strong man game. She chuckled to see her father spitting on his hands and rubbing them together before lifting a mallet and slamming it down. A bell went flying up, ringing loudly and impressively as it almost reached the top of the strong man game. With a smirk, her father offered the mallet to Killian. Emma rolled her eyes but couldn’t look away as Killian took off his coat. He really needed to go without that long coat more often, she liked the figure he cut in those tight leather pants -
“Are you kidding me?”
Emma jumped at the sound of her mother’s voice. She turned to see Mary Margaret shaking her head as she watched the men.
“That is just unfair,” she continued. “I know your father is wary of Hook’s feelings towards you, but to challenge him to that game . . . “
“What do you mean?”
“Well, you know . . . “
Emma crossed her arms over her chest and leveled her mother with a scathing look. “Know what?”
“He, um . . . well, that is, he only . . . “
“Only has one hand?”
“Well yeah.”
Emma arched a brow and gave her mother a smug grin. “I think Killian can handle himself.”
Right on cue, Hook swung the mallet with his good arm, and the bell flew up. It didn’t make it as far as her father’s swing, but it was still damn good. Emma smiled as she watched her father slap Killian on the back.
“Killian is it?” her mother asked pointedly.
Emma turned to take in her mother’s curious stare. She tightened her arms further around herself. “Uh, yeah, that’s his name. It’s the name we use around Henry, so you know . . . “
“Okay,” her mother teased, a smirk of her own teasing her lips. She changed the subject, however, by lifting a plate holding a cupcake into Emma’s line of sight. “Happy Birthday!”
Emma cocked her head. “Birthday?”
Her mother sighed. “I know it was almost two months ago. Yet one more moment I missed. I wanted to make it up to you.”
“It’s okay, really.” Emma took the plate and looked at the cupcake. It was chocolate with white icing and blue sprinkles. “It’s not really Christmas-y. Where did you get it?”
“A cupcakery opened along with the new curse. Felicity’s.”
“Is that her real name?”
“It is.”
Emma snorted loudly. “Cute.”
Mary Margaret grinned. “I know.” She threaded her arm through Emma’s and steered her towards a group of picnic tables set up beneath some fairy lights. Emma let her mother pull her to the table and sat down with the cupcake between them. Mary Margaret pulled something out of her pocket with a proud smile. “Felicity even gave me a candle and some matches!”
“Really?” Emma asked with raised brows as her mother stuck the candle into the cupcake. It was sparkling blue with a star on top.
“Mhm,” her mother said, “I told her it was for you and how I missed your birthday, and she wanted it to be special. The cupcake is special too, she said. It’s her Sugar Plum Fairy cupcake, and she was almost sold out. This was the last one.”
Emma spun the cake around, eyeing it. She had obviously been in town way too long if she was suspicious of an innocuous cupcake. The woman owned a cupcakery, for heaven’s sake! She had to sell the damn things. And what better way to drum up business than to pay extra special attention to Snow White? Emma let out a breath as she told herself to just relax and enjoy the cupcake. The bright pink and glittery decorations may not be her style, but it was chocolate, and you couldn’t go wrong with chocolate in Emma’s opinion.
Her mother lit the candle, her eyes sparkling as she sang “Happy Birthday.” Emma squirmed, never comfortable with such attention, praying no one else heard the song.
“Make a wish!” her mother exclaimed.
Emma bit her bottom lip as she suddenly remembered the last time she had made a wish on a cupcake. She had wished that she didn’t have to be alone on her birthday, and seconds later, Henry had knocked on her door.
So Emma leaned forward, closed her eyes, and a wish bubbled up unbidden from the depths of her heart. I wish I could just have a simple, domestic life. Is that even in the cards for me? Breath left her on an exhale just as the wish floated through her mind, and the candle blew out.
“Hey, where’d you get the cupcake?”
Emma opened her eyes to see Henry standing beside her. Behind him were her dad and Hook. Even as her son eyed her cupcake jealously, he shoved a forkful of funnel cake into his mouth. She chuckled.
“I didn’t buy it at the carnival,” Mary Margaret explained. “I bought it at a bakery specially for your mom.”
“Why?”
Her mother, who had the world’s worst poker face, went slack jawed and stammered as she looked at her daughter. Emma calmly removed the candle, licked the icing off, then started to peel away the wrapper before she answered her son.
“Because I helped her set up her baby registry the other day, and after two hours of agonizing over strollers, high chairs, and onesies, she owed me.”
It was only half a lie. Emma had helped her mom register at Storybrooke’s only baby store. Named, naturally, The Stork’s Nest. And it was also true that the experience had been torturous enough to earn her dozens of cupcakes.
She still wished she didn’t have to lie to her son - even half lies.
*******************************************
When Emma awoke the next morning to blurred surroundings, she wasn’t alarmed at first. It always took her a minute to fully awake and adjust her eyes to the morning light. But when she couldn’t see well enough to even find her phone on the nightstand, worry gripped her. She sat up abruptly in bed, trying to blink the sleep away. She squinted, and still all she could see was a white blur that she assumed was the sun streaming through the window and around it only blurry gray. She groped in the general vicinity of the nightstand, knocking over the lamp. She swore loudly as it crashed to the floor.
“Mom!” Henry shouted as he burst through the door.
Emma turned towards his voice, assuming that the moving brown blur in front of her was her son. “I’m . . . fine,” she lied, not wanting to alarm him. “Just go downstairs and ask Granny’s help to go get your gr - I mean, David.”
“Mom, what’s wrong?”
She pressed her lips together and took a sharp breath in through her nose. “Just go, Henry, okay?”
She heard him grumble something under his breath about how he wasn’t a little kid anymore, but she heard the door to their rooms open and close anyway. While he was gone, she rubbed at her eyes, then opened them again, but still she couldn't’ see a damn thing.
“Swan?” Hook’s alarmed voice cried out as he burst into the room.
“Killian?” She squinted at the big black blur in her doorway that she assumed was the man in question.
“I know you said to get David,” came Henry’s voice as a smaller brown blur joined the larger black one, “but I ran into Killian in the hall, and I know him better, so . . . “
“It’s okay, Henry, just give me and Killian a minute.”
“I want to know what’s going on!”
“I know, kid,” she said, her voice softening, “and I’ll explain in just a minute, I promise.”
Henry made no reply, at least none she could tell. She heard the door to her bedroom shut and sensed Hook drawing closer.
“What is it, love?”
“I can’t see,” she confessed softly, reaching out a hand for him.
“What?”
She could clearly hear the strained concern in his voice. Her hand found his, and she used him as leverage to stand up from the bed. He was closer than she had anticipated, and she awkwardly bumped against his chest.
“I mean, except for a light blur over there, and a dark blur I assume is you, I. Can’t. See.”
Emma thought ironically of those black frames with the clear lenses she had worn for
merely fashion reasons back when she was a teenager. They seemed incredibly stupid now.
“How long has this been going on?” Killian must have bent his head closer to hers because his breath was hot against her cheek.
“How long? I just woke up this way!”
“This must be some kind of sorcery, love. You don’t just lose your sight overnight.”
Do you? Emma wondered. She vaguely remembered some movie she had seen once where a woman woke up suddenly blind. It was probably a Lifetime movie, though, and she wouldn’t call those medically accurate by any stretch of the imagination. Nevertheless, she gripped Hooks arms tighter and shook her head.
“Maybe it’s magic, maybe not. Either way, get my phone, call my Dad, and ask him to drive me to the doctor, okay?”
“That will waste too much time. Maybe I could -”
“You can’t drive, and I don't’ think this warrants a 911 call.”
Did Storybrooke even have 911? She should look into that.
“As you wish,” was all Killian said, his voice solemn. The words took her back to a hot jungle, his lips on hers, and his hand tangled in her hair. She swallowed thickly as she pulled her hands away from him. He reached around her, and then she heard the familiar beeping sounds as he opened up her phone. She was glad she had given him that cell phone crash course the first time he’d watched Henry for her.
“And Killian?”
“Yes?”
“Can you explain this to Henry for me? Without freaking him out?”
“Of course.”
Then he brushed a kiss across her brow and swept from the room, leaving her flustered. He’d done it so swiftly, without hesitation, as if it were something he did everytime he told her goodbye. Maybe it had been unintentional?
Needless to say, it had been a weird morning.
*********************************************
“Is your sight coming back?” her father asked, unable to hide the fear in his voice as he drove through the streets of Storybrooke.
Emma squinted out the window of her dad’s truck. “That really bright blue to my right is the ocean I’m guessing?”
“That’s a no, then.”
A strained silence fell between them, but what could Emma say? She hated to worry him, but there was no denying this was really, really bad.
“You sure we shouldn’t go straight to Regina?”
“Not yet,” Emma told him, “let’s rule out a physical cause first.”
“I don’t know if that’s any better than a spell.”
“Believe me,” she muttered, “I know.”
“Your mom Googled it already -”
“That’s never good.”
“- and people with green eyes are at higher risk for eye cancer and macular degeneration.”
“Not helping, Dad.”
“Sorry,” he muttered, reaching for her hand and squeezing it. “It is good to hear you call me Dad again, though.”
Emma’s eyes blurred even further with her sudden tears. “Sorry I can only seem to say it in crisis situations.”
“Hey, all in good time. When you’re ready.”
He released her hand, and Emma resisted the urge to grab it again. She was so thankful to have him with her. How many times had she fantasized about parents who would take care of her when she was sick? Though she would have preferred something less dramatic than sudden blindness. A cold and some chicken soup, maybe.
“I know I’m not the best judge of this at the moment, but aren’t we going the wrong way?”
“I’m not taking you to Storybrooke General. An optometrist arrived with this second curse, and I think I trust whoever it is with my daughter’s eyes more than I trust a possibly drunk Dr. Frankenstein.”
Emma chuckled at the wry sound of her father’s voice. “I bet mom wishes an obstetrician came with this curse too.”
“You have no idea.”
Her father slowed the truck and made a right turn. He assisted her out of the vehicle, and she slipped her arm through his as he guided her to the door of the clinic. She felt him freeze suddenly beside her once the door swung closed behind them.
“You!” he exclaimed in a suspicious voice. “I know you! What the hell is going on? I thought you were a baker!”
“No,” another voice calmly replied, “that’s my sister Felicity. I’m Avery, the receptionist for Dr. Liv Lachesis, the optometrist. Which I should also explain -”
“Welcome,” a third voice spoke up, “how can I help you today?”
“Triplets?!” David exclaimed.
One of the women - Emma couldn’t tell which one - chuckled lightly. “Yes, triplets. It always throws people.”
“Well,” her father sighed, “I have a twin, so I can relate. We’re here for a bit of an emergency, though. My daughter woke up this morning unable to see.”
“That is an emergency. Emma, why don’t you come with me?”
“How do you know my name?” Emma asked suspiciously as the doctor gently touched her elbow.
“Everyone knows the Savior.”
Dr. Lachesis’ words were gentle and soothing as she guided Emma into the exam room and helped her sit.
“Now just lean back Emma, and try to keep your eyes open. I’m going to put these drops in. It may sting a little, but it shouldn’t hurt. Okay?”
Emma nodded her head. Even though the optometrist had a soothing bedside manner, she still felt her stomach knotting with nerves. Dr. Lachesis gently held Emma’s right eye open, squirted two drops of liquid in, then repeated the procedure with her left eye. Emma blinked, hoping to see more clearly. She panicked when instead of blurry splotches of light and dark, before her eyes was nothing but inky darkness.
“It’s going to be okay,” the doctor soothed, as if reading her thoughts. “Lean forward and look into my phoropter.”
Emma had no idea what that was, but she leaned forward anyway. The doctor guided her face forward, and Emma felt cool metal pressed against the skin around her eyes.
“What do you see?”
“Nothing.”
Emma heard a click while the doctor adjusted the machine’s settings.
“Look again.”
Dr. Lachesis’ voice was almost hypnotic, and Emma blinked once again. The black nothing before her faded, and she could once again see fuzzy splotches of color. The fuzzy splotches then cleared, and objects took shape before her. She was outside, dressed in a sweater, boots, and all the normal winter outerwear. Snow crunched beneath her feet and the air was crisp and cold against her cheeks. She blinked again, and tilting her head up saw that she was standing in front of a beautiful blue Victorian home with a welcoming porch, and a turret with windows nestled on one side. It reminded Emma of a doll house she had admired in a store window one Christmas as a child.
Emma then realized there were voices and laughter behind her, and she turned to see a man standing in front of the sliding door of a black minivan. He was bending over, buckling a toddler into a car seat. He straightened and turned towards her, and Emma froze in shock.
“Look, Graham, Mama’s got your shoes.”
Emma squeezed her eyes shut, wondering even more what kind of crazy contraption a phoropter was to make her see what she was seeing right now, but when she opened her eyes the scene hadn’t changed. Captain Hook was buckling a toddler into a minivan. What the hell?
His eyes sparkled with mirth and he was smiling in a way she had yet to see. He gestured with his hook towards her.
“Swan? The shoes?”
She looked down to see that she did indeed have a tiny pair of brown boots dangling from the tips of her fingers. As bizarre as the whole scenario was, she shuffled forward and handed Hook the shoes. He narrowed his eyes and studied her for a beat before turning back to the child before him. He chatted amiably with the child, making him giggle as he slipped the shoes on his feet and tied them deftly with one hand. Emma stared at the little boy of about three, cataloguing his features. He had the same shade of eyes Emma had - a cool, pale green. He had a little dimple in his plump chin, much like her and Snow. His hair was thick and black, curling over ears that pointed in an almost elf-like way. Emma felt her jaw drop as she looked from the child to Killian and back again.
“Mama?” Emma startled when a little girl popped up from behind the little boy. “Mama did Daddy really almost burn down Granny’s when he got you a Christmas tree?”
The little girl looked so much like Emma, it was downright eerie. Except she had bright blue eyes. Eyes that looked really familiar . . . but it couldn’t be!
Killian chuckled as he scratched behind his ear. “Well, in my defense, I was new to the entire concept of electricity.”
Wait a second - did this girl just refer to them - she and Hook - as Mama and Daddy? Then Emma took in Killian for the first time. He was wearing dark skinny jeans and a motorcycle jacket instead of his pirate garb, yet that wasn’t what really surprised her. What surprised her was the charcoal wool beanie on his head. Captain Hook wearing a beanie? Surely this was some sort of hallucination. Emma then glanced down at herself.
“What the hell am I wearing?”
“Wowds, Mama!” the toddler - Graham? - laughed, kicking his little feet.
“Mama, you have to wear the tree shirt to go get the tree,” the little girl added. “It’s ta-dition.”
“That’s tradition, Hope, now buckle up so we can get going,” Killian instructed.
Suddenly, a golden blur rushed past Emma, and she let out a surprised shout as a golden retriever jumped into the van.
“Sorry,” Killian apologized, “the kids begged to bring Nana along. I didn’t think it was a problem since the tree farm is outside.” He paused and tilted his head as he studied her. “Are you okay, love? I can drive if you want. I know your morning sickness still bothers you some.”
Then the strangest thing of all occurred when Killian Jones - Captain Hook himself, put a hand to her belly then brushed a kiss to her lips. It was the kind of quick, familiar kiss a couple shares when they’ve been together a long time. Emma looked down where his hand rested, and sure enough, her belly was swollen beneath her sweater. Her hideous red sweater covered in a garish Christmas tree with pom pom balls for ornaments. She swayed on her feet.
“Emma!” Killian cried in alarm, his arms going tighter around her.
Everything went blurry, again, then dark. Emma blinked her eyes, and suddenly she was back in the optometrist office looking through a metal contraption that must have been the phoropter. She jerked away and leapt up, her gaze darting wildly about the room. Well, at least she could fully see again.
“What kind of crap was that?” she yelled at Dr. Lachesis. “What kind of spell did you put on me?”
“It was my sister who cast the spell. I merely completed it.
“Completion is my area of expertise, sis,” Avery spoke up from the doorway.
“Okay,” the doctor sighed with a roll of her eyes, “I showed you the middle. It’s what you wished for, after all.”
“Emma,” David cried out as he pushed his way into the room, “are you okay? What did they do?”
Emma shook her head, unsure of how to even describe what had happened. Not to mention her father’s reaction if she told him she’d just seen herself knocked up with her third child with Hook of all people.
“Nothing, Dad,” she muttered, “let’s just get out of here.”
After all, it wasn’t as if anything in that vision could ever in a million years be real. It was ridiculous. Captain Hook the father of three driving a minivan? Impossible.

Last thing you bought online? Did you like it? OMG OMG so I got Angela an Army Bomb!!!!!! for her birthday!!!! It was HELLLL looking for sealed ones that were already onhand, but fortunately I was able to find one from this really nice seller a few days ago and the shipping was quick as well. I’m just a little worried because the outbox has a little dent on it :( but it was the best onhand offer I could find so I got it before anybody could call dibs. I still hope she likes it! I got her batteries too so that she can try lighting it up as soon as she has it. :D
Could you date someone who didn’t drive (and didn’t show an interest in ever getting their license, either)?  I feel like this is such a petty thing to make a big deal about...if they knew how to commute or any other way to get to their destination, I don’t think this should be a problem. It would only be an issue to me if they refused to get a license in a very I-generally-lack-ambition kind of way.
How would you react if your artwork became famous?  I don’t have any to show off to begin with. I love appreciating art, but creating it was never a forte of mine.
Would you get your nipples pierced?  No, I don’t plan on getting any piercings. How many people know your birthday?  Outside of my family, my best friends. I think everyone else relies on Facebook to be reminded, which is fine with me.
Has anyone ever tried to ruin a relationship you were in?  No. Quite the contrary, really...I was sometimes informed about red flags taking place, which of course my stubborn ass ignored.
Have you ever watched a whole hour long infomercial?  Probably, as a kid. The channel from which I used to watch WWE aired these really long infomercials so I would watch those while waiting for like Raw or whatever show was going on after.
What is your current MySpace song?  I never hung out on Myspace. I had an account, but I was too young for it so it wasn’t long before I got bored.
What is your favorite kind of meat to put on your sandwich?  Pulled pork or fried chicken.
Which one of your exes do you feel like you have the most chemistry with?  I only have one ex.
How do you feel about people who make Facebook profiles for their pets? I find it really cute. But I personally wouldn’t put in as much effort lol.
Have you ever personally known a pair of conjoined twins?  Hmmmmmmmm I don’t think so.
What was the most disturbing thing you have ever heard your mother say? She threatened suicide in front of me and my dad in a very calm way when I was around 11, I think? Maybe 12, idk. I haven’t actually thought about that moment in an extremely long time until this question. I’ll move on now and shove the memory at the very very back of my head before I get sad.
Is there something in particular you like to look at photos of? What is it?  Aside from members of BTS (lol), interior design inspirations.
Chewy chocolate-chip cookies: like or dislike?  Ooh, love. When I bite into a cookie it hassssss to ooze chocolate, otherwise I would be underwhelmed.
If your boyfriend/girlfriend wanted to dress only in the opposite sex’s clothing, would you support that? If not, would you leave them?  Support.
Do you think your grandmother is/was beautiful?  They both are.
Which of your fields of interest are you a total expert on?  Anything that has to do with writing (except poems), I guess? I like being able to give people advice and tips when it comes to that.
When was the last time you got all dolled up?  Last July when we had a big PR media launch thingy and I couldn’t afford to look like shit on Zoom.
Do you ever name objects? (i.e. mp3 players, guitars, cars, etc.)  Never.
Do you have a criminal record?  Not criminal but it’s possibleeeee that I have some kind of record on my license from the time I got stopped by an officer in Alabang, lmao. It was a minor offense from a tiny part of the town so I don’t actually know if they filed it, but it’s possible.
Last person you took a nap with?  I don’t really nap with other people. I hate falling asleep in front of others to begin with.
Does seeing your mother cry automatically make you feel sad as well?  No.
Do you think someone likes the same person you like?  I don’t like anybody.
Do you want your life to stay the way it is right now forever?  No, I do not want to stay in a pandemic and not get to maximize my life the way it’s supposed to be enjoyed forever.
Have you ever been to craigslist.com?  I’ve never checked it out; idk if we have that here?
What about eBay?  I also dunno if they operate here so no, I’ve never bothered.
Have you ever used Nair?  Not Nair, but I’ve used Veet before.
Are you medicated?  Nope.
Do you shape/fill in your eyebrows?  I never do stuff to my eyebrows except shave them.
Have you ever stolen/borrowed clothes from an ex?  Several articles of clothing were left behind here, yeah. I never had the chance to give them back because I stupidly thought we were going to get back together eventually. By the time I moved on the timing was already off, so the clothes stayed with me untillll...just a few days ago, actually – when I finally cleaned up my room and got rid of a bunch of knickknacks that accumulated here over the years, including all her shirts and sweaters and stuff.
Could you make a statement about anything political?  The 2022 presidential election landscape looks like complete shit and I’m nearly at that point where I want to stop giving a fuck about this country’s future.
Do you think you’ve already met your soulmate?  No.
Do you get the feeling something good will happen in your life soon?  I think I’m already living in it, haha.
Do you enjoy romantic movies, even when they’re cliche?  Sure, but cliché is also hit and miss for me. I love Titanic and Love Actually, but I cannot stand movies like Me Before You and The Notebook. I guess it depends on certain executions, like the acting, screenplay, casting, etc.
Have you been to McDonald’s in the past month?  No, not inside. We did drive-thru within the last month, though.
Have you ever slept over at your best friend’s house?  Not at Andi’s, but I have at Angela’s.
How often do you go bowling?  Extremely rarely. I can’t tell you the last time I went bowling.
Last time you were in an apartment?  Like 2007 when I visited my aunt back when she still lived in one. None of my friends have their own apartments.
Have you ever seen a live seahorse?  I don’t think so.
Would you like to have your own yacht? I mean I wouldn't say no if you offered it to me for free, but I'm not exactly interested in one. < Same.
Winnie the Pooh or Tigger?  Tigger always made me laugh as a kid.
What’s the unhealthiest thing you’ve eaten today?  Luncheon meat, I think? I didn’t go overboard with the junk food today.
Has a stranger ever offered to buy you a drink?  Hm, not that I can recall.
What is something you’d be happy to receive as a gift, that doesn’t cost a lot?  A bag of the salted egg chips that I really like costs like 30 bucks, or roughly 60 US cents.
What kind of music does your significant other/crush like to listen to?  I don’t have any irl crushes, can I use a celebrity crush instead? HAHA he’s heavily into jazz and whenever he gets asked for music recos he always gives jazz artists from like the 50s and 60s.
Who did you have your first kiss with? Do you remember what colour his/her eyes were?  Gab. Dark brown.
Are there any themes from TV shows that you like to sing along to? The Big Bang Theory and Friends; and then I also liked humming to the themes of Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, and BoJack Horseman. The Phineas & Ferb theme was also a lot of fun to sing along to.
Do you eat dessert after dinner? No, I never do that. I’m usually already full after dinner, and we don’t always have sweets at home anyway.
Have you ever had too much to drink and felt embarrassed about your behavior the next day?  Sure.
When you go out drinking, what do you prefer to drink?  Cocktails. I very rarely go for hard drinks/shots, especially if I brought my own car.
What was the last animal that you saw?  Dog.
What was the last thing that you said to one of your siblings?  I just told my sister I was done using her laptop so she can have it back. My Memories of 2020 DVD turned out to be region-locked so I have to use her laptop every time I want to watch it :(
What is the most expensive thing that you’ve purchased that you paid for:  My Map of the Soul photobook cost me around 5k in total.
What is your favorite messaging program?  Messenger.
Do you eat fast food more than 5 times a week?  Wow no. Aside from being extremely unhealthy, that’s also a LOT of spending??
Have you ever almost drowned?  Yes.
Have you ever learned something shocking about someone through Facebook?  I mean I’ve had to learn about more than one family death through my Facebook feed, which sucks but is nothing I have control over. Otherwise the most shocking thing I’ve seen is probably classmates from high school having their own kids, but at this point I’m used to it already.
What’s the scariest living animal that you’ve petted?  I’m not really afraid of carrying/petting animals especially if there’s a guide or expert nearby, but the most daring one was probably the crocodile I volunteered to hold in Palawan.
Do you remember the first conversation you ever had with the person you currently have feelings for?  Not at all.
Do you dread certain days of the week? If yes, what day/s and why?  I hate Mondays for obvious reasons lol. I don’t know anyone who is actively cheery about reporting back to work.
If you eat oatmeal, do you have it plain or do you have certain toppings that you like to add to it?  I never eat oatmeal. I had that every single day for breakfast from like kindergarten to 4th grade and I vowed never to take a spoonful of it again.
What is the funniest or strangest thing you’ve ever heard somebody say in their sleep?  I dunno. I used to keep a log of the things my ex used to say in her sleep and a great deal of them were hilarious, but obviously I deleted that note a long time ago.
Choose one - Butterfinger, Milky Way, Snickers:  Butterfinger.
Do you use Mozilla Firefox? Nopes.
Who is your favorite person to hug? Angela and Laurice.
Have you ever had to have a mug shot?  Nope.
What was the last thing you carried to your room?  Kimi.
When was the last time you had a late night phone call?  WELL over a year ago.

Fix One Thing (1/?)
Prompt: And that morning, you woke up with the sun shining on your face and the feeling of his arms wrapped around you. You were enveloped in warmth and it instantly brought a smile to your face. And when you turned, you met his eyes, filled with love and adoration and you were happy.
Please check the Marvel MCU MasterList for more parts!

“No, no--!”
“Oh, come on, Y/N! You cannot tell me you weren’t flirting!”
“I wasn’t!” You exclaim, a burst of laughter leaving your lips as you throw your head back, kicking your feet out before you in a fit of excitement. With a wide smile, you shift, moving so you’re cushioned into the corner of the couch, licking your lips slowly. “Okay, maybe I was. But only a little!”
“I knew it!” Mia explains through the phone, “you were making total heart eyes at him.”
“I wasn’t making heart eyes,” you tsk, rolling your eyes slightly as you grab a strand of your hair, twirling it between your pointer and middle finger. “Liam’s just a friend from work that I maybe sort of like, but I definitely wasn’t making heart eyes at him.”
“But you were flirting.”
Your lips part, moving to argue, but you find yourself ending up short. “Only a little though,” you repeat, unable to fight the smile that grows on your lips. “He is cute though, isn’t he?”
“Girl, if you hadn’t been flirting with him, I would’ve taken my chance,” Mia giggles, causing you to roll your eyes. “Plus, you deserve this,” she continues, and you feel your smile fade, if only a little, at the implications of her words. “After everything that happened to you last year, you need this.”
“A year?” You repeat softly, finding your hair particularly fascinating in that moment. “It’s been that long already?”
“Have you gone to visit him?”
“No,” you say without a moments of hesitance. “After everything he did... lying to me like that, I never want to see his mangled face ever again.”
“Especially now that you have Liam.”
Snorting, you shake your head; “oh, haha.” Then, pausing, you bite your lip, the grin slowly growing on your face once again as you let your eyes wander over your clothes. “Actually, speaking of Liam... I may or may have not invited him over for dinner tonight.”
“Really!”
“Yeah,” you laugh, feeling a sense of giddiness flood you.
“Ooh! What are you wearing? Tell me everything,” Mia says in a rush.
“You know that black dress I bought a few months ago?”
“Yeah.”
“That’s what i’m wearing.”
“Damn, this is more than just a date.”
Scoffing, you shake your head, fully aware Mia can’t see you. “What!” You exclaim, feigning innocence. “I haven’t been on a date in months, and I rarely get to dress up anymore, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity. This is just a nice little dinner date.”
Mia pauses a moment, before; “maybe with some extra desert.”
Your lips part in indignation; “Mia!”
“What?” She laughs, “you know i’m right.”
“I--”
Your words are interrupted by the sound of your doorbell ringing. It instantly catches your attention, causing you to sit upright as your eyes widen. “I think that’s him,” you mumble to Mia, feeling your nerves get the best of you. “Wish me luck?”
“Good luck!” Mia reassurance, “make sure to tell me everything afterwards.”
“Sounds good,” you nod, standing up to your feet. “Bye.”
“Have fun! Oh! And make sure to use protection.”
Rolling your eyes, you hang up the call, calling out a “i’ll be there in second” when the doorbell rings once more. Tossing your phone onto the couch, you brush back your hair, quickly straightening out your dress before making your way over to your apartment door. You inhale deeply as you set your hand on the doorknob, mentally preparing yourself.
You deserve this, you tell yourself, you’ve got this.
“Hey--”
Your words instantly halt the moment you open the door. It almost feels like your entire body freezes, your muscles seizing to work properly as your eyes land on his. On Billy Russo’s.
“Y/N--”
You flinch at the sound of his voice, taking a step back. For a moment, you debate just shutting the door on his face at the flood of emotions that hit you like a slap across the face. And you go to do just that. Your hand lunges out towards the door, prepared to slam it shut, but Billy shoots out his arm, stopping you before you’d even begun -- all while never taking his eyes off of you.
He takes a step in, and everything seems to just snap.
“Get out.” Your voice is dark, cold. Rough. There isn’t an ounce of hesitation. “Now. Get the fuck out of my apartment.”
“Y/N--”
“Did you not hear me?” You snap, your narrowed eyes meeting his once more (and it takes every bit of strength not to break down then and there in front of him) and you keep your chin raised despite the way your body begins to shake, violently. “Get the fuck out right now.”
Holding up his hands, Billy shakes his head; “let me explain myself--”
“I think I know everything I need to know--”
“I don’t remember anything.”
You halt, head jerking back in surprise at his words. Suddenly, your anger begins to fade and you just find yourself confused, standing there like an idiot just staring at him. For a moment, your eyes wander across the scars that mare his face, and you have a mental image of what his face looked like before it healed. When it was even more mangled and bloody and... You wished it’d stayed like that.
Billy, at your silence, takes another step forward, shutting your door behind him. For a split second, your body jumps, but you don’t say or do anything.
“The last thing I remember is still being in service,” Billy continues, and you swallow thickly, making sure to keep a safe distance between the two of you. “I know... I know I did something wrong. Bad. And by your reaction, i’m guessing it hurt you. But I remember you and I remember us.”
Clenching your fists, you shake your head; “you expect me to just believe you? Believe that you just forgot everything?” You snap, unable to stop the way your voice raises. “You destroyed me, Billy,” you hate the way his name sounds leaving your lips. “You... broke my heart. It took me months to recover from what you did to me and everyone else. What are you even doing here?”
“I remember that morning,” Billy begins, staring down at you with warmth. The way he used to look at you before everything went wrong. It reminds you of when you’d been in love with him, when you’d stop anything and everything just for him because you had been so infatuated with the man you hadn’t even been able to think clearly or rationally. “With us, when I asked you--”
“Stop,” you whisper, your eyes falling shut. “Don’t.”
You don’t want to relive that moment. Because it’ll just break your heart all over again.
“I didn’t know where else to go.”
Biting your lip, you look away; “so you came to me?”
“I love you,” your body tenses at his words. You can’t... “And I know you once loved me.”
“I should call the cops on you,” you hiss, finally turning to look at him. Taking a moment to asses his appearance, you scoff. “By the looks of it, you’re still suppose to be in that damned hospital room.”
“I wouldn’t blame you,” Billy whispers.
“I should call the cops,” you repeat, unsure if you do so for yourself or Billy.
Billy says nothing. He simply holds his hands up, as if telling you he won’t stop you.
Your entire body shakes, turning your head over your shoulder to gaze at your phone that lies on the couch. For a moment, you debate whether to move, to call, or to not. You should. You really should. Because this man... this criminal not only ruined your life but plenty of others. He is worse than just some criminal. And it took you months to get better from what he did; all his lies and mind-games.
But even after months of therapy, you’d never been able to fix one thing; you were still in love with him.
Sighing, your shoulders fall, giving Billy the answer you need.
“Here,” you call softly, making your way over to the bathroom. Opening the door, you step back, giving him room to enter. “Clean yourself up. I think... I think I still have some of your clothes left in one of my drawers.”
Billy nods, and you move to leave, but then his hand reaches out, grasping your wrist. You gasp, a burst of fear flooding you, but when your eyes meet his, it just vanishes. And it kills you; makes you hate yourself. Because you should hate this man. You should, by all rights, be afraid of him.
But you’re not.
“Thank you, Y/N.”
For a moment, you just stare into his eyes, gaze never wandering. Then you nod, pulling your wrist out of his grasp with ease and making your way to your bedroom.
And as you enter your bedroom door, you see yourself in the mirror, seeing your reflection and you’re reminded of your date. Reminded of how excited you’d been. And now... now none of that matters anymore.
It both breaks you and makes you feel numb.

Survey #203
I’m not dead, World of Warcraft just devoured my life again.
Have you ever been inside of an abandoned building? Yes; a shack first, but we picked up the courage to just barely set foot into this small building absolutely littered with newspapers and such. Almost went into the main house, but my sister, friend, and I were too intimidated by the idea. I didn't want to imagine what could be in there; already anxious by that age, I worried about feral animals or homeless being in there. Have you ever actually believed in monsters? (Like as a kid) Yes, I think. Do you have any fascination with the macabre? Examples? Oh boy, do you know me? I find most gore cool, I love bone art/vulture culture sort of stuff, I find death and decay fascinating, then there's the roadkill photography I do (done in only great respect/to show the horror of what we can cause), dark and especially gory artwork... I could go on for a while. Do you actually think skeletons are scary? I LOVE skeletons, add that to the above list. I was always excited in school if our science class had a replica in it. What monster movie is your favorite? This is broad... You mean like, actual monsters? Not like Freddy Krueger, per se, and focused on them? Hell I dunno, maybe Monsters Inc., lol. Is Hocus Pocus really a good movie, or a bit overrated? We cannot associate if you so much as dislike Hocus Pocus. What witch-themed movie/show is your favorite, anyhow? See above. Do you like The Nightmare Before Christmas? Hell yeah. Ha, pretty funny though: I'm not obsessed with the movie or anything, yet people give me sooooooo much Jack Skellington stuff for my birthday and/or Christmas. I do love Jack, totally, but you'd assume I was more in love with the character than I actually am. Do you count it as a Halloween movie and a Christmas movie? Halloween, for me. Do you like Jack or Sally better? Jack. What other Tim Burton works do you enjoy, if any? Corpse Bride and Alice in Wonderland are my absolute favorites, then there's Frankenweenie, Beetlejuice, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, James and the Giant Peach (literally my lil sis's and my childhoods), and probably more. I just love him. Are there any ‘dark’ or ‘spooky’ films you recommend? Absolutely the original Blair Witch Project. Spoiler, you never see the "witch," and that just made it so much spookier, particularly when there's a scene that seems to have a high chance of her showing up on the camera. It's very convincing in selling it as "based on a true story;" the characters act realistic in the situations they're in and are very dedicated to acting well. It's my personal definition of a "good" horror movie. If anything, shit, watch it for the ending. Creepiest goddamn thing. Just for fun – what would your personal hell look like? Yeesh, let's not visualize that... On Supernatural, do you like the angels or demons better? I am way, WAY behind, but from very faint memories, I believe the demons. Have you ever purchased anything from an occult or New Age shop? What? No. Do you know any Pagans/Wiccans? I believe one of my old friends is Wiccan? Do you know any Satanists? I don't believe so. Would you ever keep a tarantula as a pet? Nah. Are there any urban legends in your area? What are they? Looked it up and apparently NC does have some, but idk about *my* area. Do you find dead trees beautiful? Some, like really big ones. Who was the last person you sat next to? Mom. Are you embarrassed to let others see you without makeup? No. Have you ever had a nickname at your church? If so, what? Don't believe so, when I grew up going to church. What was the last stuffed animal you bought? Not sure. Maple trees, fir trees, or palm trees? Maple. Which biblical name do you prefer: Naomi, Esther, Rachel, or Joanna? Naomi, easily. I used to want to name my hypothetical daughter that. Which biblical guys name do you prefer: Seth, Jedidiah, Ezra, or Buz? Seth. Who is the hardest working person you know? MY. MOTHER. She works her fucking ASS off; I'd like to see most people handle even a single day in her life. Can you name any songs by Godsmack? A few: "No Rest For The Wicked," "Whatever," "Mama," "Voodoo," "Voodoo Too," "Hollow," "Time Bomb," "The Enemy," and... that may be it? What has been the most exciting moment of your life thus far? Meeting Sara. How deeply do you care for your education? Is it something you take seriously? I don't really know how to answer this. Like... I care, but I don't care enough to be competitive about it or obsess over it. I target for just being "enough." Would you prefer to go to a beach or to a park for a day, and why? What would you do? Park. The beach is too hot, windy, and I hate the feel of sand. Idk what I'd do at the park considering there are various kinds... What are five things you own in your favorite color? Tank top, iPod, uh... I'm blanking. Is your favorite clothing store close to your house or do you have to travel far? The nearest one is like an hour away. In real life do you laugh like ‘haha,’ ‘hehe’ or something else? The former. Do you have any unusual skills? No. Do you have any bug bites right now? No. Do you like to look at other peoples’ houses? Sure, when riding by them. What’s the weirdest compliment you’ve ever received? Good question. Maybe my toes are cute? (They're fucking tiny.) Would you say you’re more witty or childish about jokes? Witty, I guess. What do you think about video games? One of the greatest technological achievements. Video games brought forth a new form of entertainment to enjoy, one that can hold someone's focus for hours and stay fun. They can also tell fantastic stories, just like reading a book or watching TV, and the more and more realistic in vision games are becoming, it just becomes easier with every game to feel more immersed in the universe. What would you, or do you, study at college? I'm going for zoology. Have you ever had, or wanted, a pet ferret? Oh my god in Heaven, yes. They are so damn cute; when Sara was here and we were in PetSmart for something, I actually started tearing up and squealing because of how GODDAMN PRECIOUS THEY WERE, like they all came up to the glass pawing at us, and watching them play was one of the cutest things I've ever seen. The only thing holding me back from getting one is the fact I know they are veeery messy and require a lot of care. Is there anything you find undeserving of the hype it received? Eh, don't feel like thinking about this. In other words, idk and idc. Do you think it’s better to label yourself than be labelled? Who cares, honestly. Don't restrain yourself with a label, and what others see in you and you following along with it solely because of that is naive. What’s something you do a lot? Over-evaluate anything and everything, because my OCD has been an absolute beast for the longest time. Are you currently on any other websites? Twitch and deviantART are open. Have you ever been told you naturally tilt your head a certain way? YES. I have done this since like... late middle school or earlier when the hair to the right of my part covered my eye. My mom points it out all the time, and no matter how many times I've tried to unlearn it, I can't do it. My head physically feels weird if I straighten it. When was the last time you laughed at someone? Some time earlier when I was watching Mark play GTA. Do you have any projects on the go right now? I started a massive YouTubers video with "High Hopes" over a month ago, and now I haven't touched it since the day I started lmao. Do you, or did you, really look forward to when you can finally move away? Eh... yes and no. I really question my ability to be that independent. What’s the worst tattoo you’ve ever seen? Who knows. What’s your favorite name ever? Alessandra. Are you a hat person? No. Have you ever forgotten how to do something simple? Ha, yeah. Have you ever been hit on by somebody way too old for you? Possibly an old family friend; he had this thing for being REALLY flirtatious with my older sister, and then me sometimes as I got older. We were never alone with him or anything, I mean he did it right in front of our mother and dad (he fucking loathed him because of it, probably still does), so we think he was joking? Have you ever climbed a chain-link fence? Yes. Have you ever had to run from the cops? No. Do you know anyone who is constantly humming? No? Are you afraid of any specific animals? I mean the usual insects and spiders, then there's the few more unusual ones such as SLUGS, MAGGOTS, larvae in general really, whale sharks, worms... probably others that aren't coming to me. Did anything comical happen to you today? No. Are you any good at fussball? Not especially. Who do you usually dream about? Jason is most often in the ones I actually remember. Yay. It made sense when I wasn't even beginning to heal, but now that I am and I STILL have them despite having fully and entirely moved on, I finally just asked my mother if it was normal, which apparently it is extremely common with even "recovered" PTSD victims. Shoulda asked/looked it up way sooner... Do you visit your dentist as often as you should? Yeah, thanks to Mom. She always ensures I stay updated with medical exams/appointments. I'm lucky as hell to have her here to keep my life straight. Do you still have a teddy bear? Maybe in the bags in the attic? Did you get any Girl Scout cookies this year? No. They don't come here. What’s your favorite fairytale? Bitch Shrek don't even @ me it's a fucking fairytale. Do you apologize when you know you should? Usually. In most cases, I feel overwhelming guilt otherwise. Do apologies really make anything better? Sometimes, to a degree. Can other people tell when you’re high? I've never been high. Do you own a birdcage? No. Have you ever planted anything? Yeah. Have you ever been blackmailed into doing anything? No. What eyeshadow color looks best on you? I only ever wear black. Can you tolerate small children? jfc no. In almost any situation. Even my niece and nephew, I can't be around them but for so long without getting burnt out or aggravated. What’s the stupidest behavior humans partake in? Holy sweet mother of The Lord God Almighty- Have you ever seriously considered suicide? Yeah. Did you ever hit anything while learning to drive? I like... immediately hit a curb lmao, and I STILL can't turn past them without the risk of running over it. It's one of the things that's holding me back from getting my license yet. Which movie’s musical score is truly memorable? UM, The Lion King??????? Hurry the FUCK up July. Which TV show theme music do you remember most? That '70s Show. Have you ever bounced any checks? I've never even used a check... How many speeding tickets have you been given? None. Not that I drive a lot. First kiss: quick, sloppy, and forgettable or passionate and memorable? It was fucking adorable and definitely memorable. I don't care how I feel about him now, that's a little event I'll always remember and cherish. Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, Ron White, or Larry the Cable Guy? OH GOD what was that stand-up show with just them? I LOVED that back as a teen. I don't know who I liked most, but probably Jeff or Bill. I do know Ron was my least favorite, but he wasn't bad. How many bills do you pay online? I'm a 23-year-old "adult" who doesn't have bills. What’s the highest score you ever bowled? Hell if I remember. Nothing impressive. What’s your definition of a good, full breakfast? The "perfect" picture is like pancakes, scrambled cheesy eggs, and bacon. Whats your favorite flavor of jam? Of what I've tried, I only like grape. Are you a fast runner? I can't even TELL you the last time this bitch ran. At school was is/was the main reason you get/got in trouble? It was never severe trouble, just a quick word, but Jason because we'd always hug and usually just exchange a peck in-between going to classes; both were no-nos in our shit school, and the hall monitors or whatever would tell us not to if they saw, buuut we didn't listen. Hell, I think maybe hand-holding was against the rules too, which I know we didn't abide by if that was present. Do you make your views heard or do you hide in the background? It depends. I'd say heard more often, maybe? Do you have many friends from foreign countries? No. Can you open your mouth very wide? No. You know those things at the dentist where you have to bite down straight onto them for an impression of your molars? If the dentist was considerate enough, I'd use the one for older children instead of adult because I canNOT fully bite down on the normal ones without it being incredibly painful and I gag like mad to the point I inevitably tear up. What was the reason for your last x-ray? My knees were being checked with all the horrible pain I'd been dealing with from them. Did you have a rebellious phase growing up? Not for the sake of being rebellious, no. I only had such streaks (and still do) when I saw/see them appropriate to the situation. What religion were you brought up with? Roman Catholic. What is the most common name where you live? I dunno. Elizabeth, maybe? Actually just looked it up for the hell of it and what I found first says William (which I can absolutely believe) and Ava (which I question?). When something really scares you, what’s your immediate reaction? Jump, gasp, and either dash or stare at whatever the source is like a deer in headlights. Does it bother you to be around people who are smoking? Yes. How much time do you spend on the phone a day? Not long at all. I check Instagram usually at least once, and I don't follow a lot at all. Sometimes I check Facebook on my phone, but I usually do on my laptop now. That doesn't take very long, either. Your favorite song lyrics right now: "What I do know is come Judgment Day, I followed love; can you say the same?" from "Natural Born Sinner" by In This Moment. Do you think it’s possible for a rap song to make you cry? Ever heard "Runaway Love" by Ludacris & Mary J. Blige? Bitch you bet it makes me wanna cry. Name three books that have actually made you cry [really cry not a few tears]: I don't think I've ever gone beyond just a few tears, really. The Notebook probably was the hardest on me, though. Or Old Yeller. Idr. Is it easy to annoy you? Maybe. Do you watch musicals? If so, which is your favorite? If not, why not? No, because they make me cringe into a new dimension. Do you wear short shorts & tanktops in the summer? You will never see me in shorts, and I wear tank tops like... always. Always to bed, at least. Does the idea of having a baby at your age scare you? Having a baby period does. No fucking thanks. Do you remember who your best friend was in fourth grade? Quiata. Maybe still Brianna, idr. What band has the power to make you cry by splitting up? None. Is there anywhere in your house that you’re scared to be alone in? No. Any embarrassing/childish shows you secretly still enjoy watching? No. I don't watch TV period, but what I do like, BELIEVE THIS SHIT OR NOT, I'm not embarrassed. Have you ever been admitted to the hospital for a long period of time? I think the longest I was ever supposed to stay somewhere was three months, but that didn't actually happen. The longest I've actually been in a hospital was two weeks, give or take. Would you feel funny if you kissed somebody of the same sex? I'm not straight so obviously not. Name three things in your room that others probably don’t have in theirs: An iguana, a snake, and a rat. In the same general area lmao. What’s something you can cook or bake like a pro? Nothing. If you could pull off any hairstyle, what would it look like? A pixie cut. The kind with the shaved sides. Besides furniture, what’s the biggest thing in your bedroom? Uhhh my snake's cage? Do you diet and exercise regularly? I do a 16-hour fast daily. What’s something that you think is really cute? Even though I don't want kids, I can't see men being really vibrant and cute with babies or toddlers without just alksdfjioawer Would you rather donate time, blood, or money? Hm. I feel like ultimately, money would be most beneficial in the majority of cases? Can grills be sexy on a guy? They are incredibly unattractive on anyone. Are braces cute? Not particularly, but they're not like, unattractive. Unlike grills, they serve an actual purpose and aren't as obnoxious. Which of your friends makes you laugh the hardest? Girt. What brings out the worst in you? Being extremely stressed. I'm seriously snappy and irritable. Would you rather go to Canada or Mexico on vacation? Canada, probably. If you have glasses, do you get days when you don’t feel like wearing them? I don't think about it because I don't have a choice if I want to see. Do you ever wear hats indoors? I don't wear them period. Have you ever played bingo at an actual bingo hall? No. Have you ever pledged money to a Kickstarter and it reached its goal? If so, did you get any fun extra stuff because you pledged a higher amount? No. What’s your favorite comic book/graphic novel? I don't have one. This really depends on what the situation is... and my state of mind at the time. But I think usually myself? It used to be others, but I learned how unhealthy that can be. Do you find it easy to pass the time or do you get really bored? I get bored excruciatingly easily. How often do you re-watch/re-read things or are you more ‘once only’? Who is the lead singer of your favorite band? Ozzy Osbourne. How would you feel if you knew you were adopted? If I grew up knowing, I wouldn't feel much of anything new besides the fact I'd be grateful as hell someone chose me. If I just suddenly found out, I'd be inexplicably shocked and furious I was never told. Do you have freckles? No. Do you have dimples? Very clearly on my left cheek, and I have a super shallow one on the right that used to be more apparent. And I have back dimples. When was the last time you went fishing? Just not many are coming to mind immediately. Who are some of your classic era film actors and actresses, if any? Idk. Do you have any novelty ice cube trays? No. Your ex taps you on the shoulder and says, “I still love you.” You say? The only ex who I'm aware even loved me in the first place is Jason, and I probably wouldn't say anything. Got a very strong feeling my PTSD would literally erupt like goddamn Saint Helen and I'd leave the situation in the blink of an eye. I don't love him anymore, and I don't even know if I'd believe him telling me that now, but I know damn well it would fuck with me. Would you ever work at a movie theater? It sure as hell wouldn't be my first pick. At least here, they're grossly underpaid and overworked. Do you have a phone charger in your car? If you have a specific type of cord. Do you have any personal fashion rules that revolve around your own preferences/body type (e.g., you never/always wear a certain color, sleeve type, or length of dress)? I don't wear shorts, tight shirts, dresses, skirts, crop tops, I wouldn't dare touch a romper, I highly doubt I'd wear yellow... just to name the ones that came to me immediately. Do you remember any celebrity whose style you admired when you were a teen? What do you think of that style now? YO Avril Lavigne was my emo model okay. She's still a queen. The last time you had a conflict with someone else, did you confront them about it or keep it to yourself? Do you think it would have been better or worse to do the opposite? Uhhh... I don't remember who this was. When you finally make a decision to do something you have been contemplating for a while, do you become highly anxious and motivated to do it right away? Yup. When you were a kid did you make up lies about your life to make yourself seem more interesting? Alternatively, did you know kids who told these stories and did you believe them? Bitch I made up that a talking wolf came to me and gave me animal powers and the rule was I could only tell three people. I was a fucking weird kid. I know others who have made things up, too. Can you think of a moment from your childhood that was totally “on brand” for you, or consistent with your adult personality? I'm sure there's something, but nothing's coming to me rn. Have you ever warned someone else about something, whether it was about a person in their life or an oncoming weather event? Yup, in numerous scenarios. So, is it "gif" with a hard G or soft G? I say both, but "jiff" more frequently. Is there a book or movie that you thought was about something completely different from what it actually ended up being about? What did you think it would be? Maybe... Is there an item that you bought on a whim, but now consider it a crucial part of your life and you would or have purchased it again? I have no clue.

“Atsushi,omg! What’s this?”
“Happybirthday (Name chin), I bought this cake for you”
You couldn’tfeel happier than this because your boyfriend doesn’t put an effort in almostanything but he baked a cake for your birthday. You were lost in your thoughtswhen he said:

“Hahaof course, just the fact that you did it made my day, Thank you my purple giant”
Kise:
You wereworried when you blonde boyfriend didn’t come to school this day. You calledhim up but he didn’t pick so you decided to visit him after school.

I know thatthis time it’s real
Theemotions now overwhelm me
Me, who wasalways carefree
It’s allbecause of you
And there’snothing I can do
So my lovehappy birthday
Meeting youwas like a miracle day
I love you”
You rushedto hug him, hug this human who was able to make you feel so special.
“Kise Ilove you too, I didn’t know that you were good at sweet talks” You laughed
“Moriyamahelped me a little bit”
You sighed,: “Haha no surprise that was coming from him”
Himuro:
Youwere at school, your boyfriend was avoiding you all day and you wondered why.You were afraid that someone else is turning around him, you tried to talk tohim so many times but he was always finding an excuse out and leave.
Afterschool when you already gave up and decided to go home, he approached you:
“(Namechan) are you going home? It’s pretty early?”
“NoTatsuya, it’s time I go”
“Mmmm Isee, can I ask you a favor?”
“What isit?” You said as you were hiding you smile, you felt so happy, you knew that it’syour birthday so you thought that he will ditch practice and take you out fordinner but:
“I want youto wait for me in the school library until I finish the club practice so we cango home together”
This guyjust broke you down and destroyed all your dreams and just in one second.
“O’keeey”You mumbled and he just forced a smile
You wantedto shout at him, slap him but you were afraid that he’ll just ask someone elseout especially that all girls are falling for him.
7pm, youwere reading a fantasy book when he approached you:
“Are youdone practicing Tatsuya?”
“I wasn’tpracticing”
“Haah, thenwhat were you doing?”
“Come on, I’llshow you” he grabbed your hand and made you follow him
You were infront of the rooftop, he opened the door for you:
“Go ahead”,
“Mmmm ok”
You enteredand the view left you startled, covering your mouth by your hand. You felt likeyou were in some romantic movie scene:
He preparedyou the most romantic dinner ever done, the roof was all covered in candlesexcept a red carpet that he put so you both can go to your table dinner. Youswore than nobody could make you heart beats this fast except this charmingguy.
“Tatsuya, I’mreally happy with this but I still need one more last gift”
“Haha, Iwent in all kind of troubles to do this but I see that it wasn’t enough, I’msorry”
“No Tatsuyano no wait, I’m so happy and it’s more than enough but lately I’ve been feelingso insecure that you would leave me for someone else so I want to ask for yourheart as a gift”
He burstout laughing.
“WhatTatsuya, there’s nothing funny here”
He walkedin your direction, put your hand in his heart and said:
“Nobody canmake this heart beats as fast as this and do you know why? That’s because it alreadybelongs to you”
You huggedhim and kept listen to his heart until pulled you away:
“Let’s eator it will get cold”
“Aaah I’msorry I’m really sorry, thanks for the Meal Tatsuya”
Midorima:
Yourboyfriend was acting weirder than other days, he brought you your lucky item asusual but he also brought you some luck booster, it was really awkward.
“Shin chanhow can I walk with a knife?”
“You canhide it somewhere if you want”
You sighed, you loved your boyfriend but sometimes he could act weirdly but anyway youloved him.
Afterschool, you noticed that Takao wasn’t with your boyfriend so you asked why andhe ignored your question.
“Shin chan,my house in the other way, where are you going?”
“There’s ashort way off to your house, come on this way”
“Shin chan,I don’t see why would I take, I enjoy every moment with you”
“(Name chan)Come on”
Youfollowed him but the road seemed so long but you didn’t want to complain.
He stoppedat a traditional fancy restaurant, he entered and you followed him.
“Oh my godShin chan what a surprise!”
“Let’sorder” he was blushing so hard
During thewhole meal, he was blushing so you just ate in silence and after you took yourdessert. The waiter came and brought a bag in his hand that he put one thetable.
“It’s foryou, open it” He mumbled
“It’s forme?”
You openedthe box that was in the bag and found a beautiful traditional Yukata.
“Waaawamazing Shin chan, you bought it for me”

Friday Finds || Vol. 2, Week 34
Happy friggen Friday! This is a long one, you guys… It’s been about a month since I’ve done a Friday Finds post so there’s a whole lot to share! Some EPIC podcasts to listen to… Clothes to wear now… Shoes to wear later… And some great reads, too! Enjoy. xoxo
J.Crew brought back my favorite embellished peplum top from last year in navy blue! You can see how I styled it in the photo above, but click here for the original outfit post.
A few things I personally bought this week… This phone case for my new phone (my phone got stolen two weeks ago), these $14 sunglasses (in brown tort), and this $40 handbag. // I really wanted this tortoise case, but I was in a bind and needed one that day so settled on the rattan.
Gimme gimme this dress! We’ve still got a few weeks of summer, my friends. Let’s pump the brakes on all of this fall talk, okay?!
I’m also loving this dress! It’s white, but the long sleeves make it easy to transition over the next few months. (I mean, if we *must* talk about fall…) All about that wear now, wear later element! It would be so cute with sneakers and sandals now, and booties, OTK boots, or even slouchy boots this fall.
Je Me’n Fous — I’ll help you out with the French translation on this one… It basically means, “I don’t give a f*ck.” Couldn’t press purchase fast enough!
I use the Olaplex hair treatment about once a week so I can’t wait to get my hands on the brand new shampoo and conditioner! It’s supposed to be great for dry, color-treated hair like mine.
I want this custom phone case SO BAD!
I also reallllyyyyyyyyyyyy want these red workout leggings.
How friggen cute are these leopard sneaks?
I love these strappy sandals! Great for wearing now and also transitioning into fall over the next few months.
UM HELLO SKIRT OF MY DREAMS. I need this fun, striped number in my closet! I love it paired with sneakers.
SHOP MY CLOSET — I’ve been adding a ton to my Poshmark page, and I also have a few designer items for sale, too… My pink Chanel bag, my Phillip Lim bag, and my Gucci scarf.
These leather sandals are on my wish list! I have a pair of their ballet flats and they are such great quality.
Per usual, crushing on all things Clare V. How cute is this new bag and this sweatshirt?!
Pure torture is being on very restricted shopping budget and finding the boots you’ve been lusting over the past two years on sale in your size only.
For my New York ladies — Boll & Branch is having a sample sale next weekend! I literally want to fly in. You can read about how much I love their bedding here!
I’ve seen so many rave reviews about this ice roller… I need to finally order it! (PS: Isn’t it funny how sometimes we drag our feet on a $12 purchase, but have no problem shelling out for other stuff? I find my own shopping behaviors so bizarre sometimes.)
I’m so admire Kelly for sharing her battle with depression! It’s something that so many of us deal with behind closed doors and while it’s not easy to talk about, it’s a conversation that needs to be had more often.
I just got a copy of Maxie’s book and I’m so excited to start it! Pre-order yours here… It comes out this week!
I loved this post from Mary and Laura. I’ve got a laundry list of sites to check out! — The Best Professional Resources for Women, By Women
Making a Case for Being Less Busy — Yes, yes, and yes.
I hate the word “diet,” but this is a great post about figuring out what your body needs!
I absolutely love Grace in this dress… Gorg!
This post takes me back! I had dinner at Galley Beach on Nantucket last summer on my birthday.
Carly looks so cute in this outfit!
What does work life balance even mean?
Three Ways to Be the Best Version of Yourself
THIS PODCAST EPISODE, OMG. Please, please give it a listen when you have a chance! “Your mess can be your message” was one of the quotes I tried to scribble down while driving and listening, haha. There were so many things she touched on that resonated with me on some level… family past, addiction, her own personal narrative, dating patterns based on fears, primary and secondary soulmates, relationship to failure and rejection, and more. It’s one of those episodes that I’ll definitely be listening to more than once to soak it all in. I ordered her book, Choose Wonder Over Worry, immediately upon listening to the podcast!
Speaking of Maxie, a few weeks ago she sent me this speech by Oprah and holy moly it’s good! Definitely worth a watch/listen.
My friend, Kate, has been reading her old journals on Patreon and it’s been SO FASCINATING to listen to!! I’ve been driving back and forth between Chicago and my hometown a lot these last few weeks and nothing makes the time go by faster than listening to Kate. (You can check out her regular podcast here!)
On a lighter note, I was laughing out loud listening to Jared Fried on the Girls Gotta Eat podcast!

The Cat Cafe (Yoongi) Part Two
Tumblr media
Genre: Fluff/Angst
Word Count: 1,579
Summary: “I don’t like him”
A/n: Haha here’s the part two I promised months ago!~Joy
Part One//Part Two//
Your shift today was a bit tense, Yoongi refused to look at you let alone talk to you. You wish you could solve whatever problem he had with you. One moment you two were best friends the next he acts like you just stepped on his new headphones and called his music trash. “Ah excuse me?” A lady asked in annoyance you finally woke up from your daydream to see a girl maybe in her first year of high school with her group of friends. “I asked for three lattes and three lemon poppy seed muffins? Are you gonna take my order or just stare at me blankly?” She sneered as her friends let out tiny snickers.
“Of course, my bad” You smiled softly writing down their orders.
“We want a table where we can see the cute boy working in the kitchen.” The girl smiled at Yoongi when Yoongi noticed she winked at him.
“That table over there” You pointed to the table in the corner where they would see the kitchen. You handed their orders to their table.
“Hey, can you get me his number?” The girl asked twirling her strand of hair while her eyes looked at Yoongi her friends let out giggles.
“I’m sorry but if you want his number you’ll have to ask him” You answered politely as she rolled her eyes.
“Well? Get him over here?” She scoffed as you smiled slightly.
“I’ll try to” You replied walking away from the table once your body turned around to face the kitchen your smile turned into a frown, you were sick and tired of seeing girls like this at the cafe. “Yo, Yoongi some underage girl wants your number” You yelled as he rolled his eyes.
“Why would I give my phone number away to a little girl?” Yoongi scoffed giving you a look of disgust.
“I don’t know but she wants you to go out there and talk to her so you can explain why you don’t want to give her your number.” You simply stated as he rolled his eyes.
“Fine, finish icing these cakes?” He asked as you nodded and he walked out of the kitchen. The girls noticed Yoongi approach as the girl started to adjust her hair, batting her eyelashes so Yoongi would notice how nice and long they were. “Did you ladies need something?” He asked politely as she smiled at him.
“Yes actually, another cup of this delicious latte I'm guessing you made and your number” She winked as Yoongi tried to smile.
“Sorry ladies, I actually didn’t make that latte and my number is out of service for little girls like you. Believe it or not, that girl in the kitchen right now is my girlfriend and I’m sure she wouldn’t want me talking to girls that could get me in prison.” The girls just widened their eyes as one of them let out a scoff.
“Whatever, you’re the one missing out not me” She rolled her eyes as her and her friends walked out of the cafe. Yoongi just shrugged as he walked back into the kitchen, taking the icing back from your hands.
“How’d it go?” You asked as Yoongi shrugged.
“I told them I wasn’t interested and they just left” Yoongi lied as you laughed softly.
“I guess we’ll have to use your face to get our customers” You joked as Yoongi let out a tiny chuckle. “Yoongi?”
“Hmm?” He hummed in response.
“I hope whatever happened between us that made us so tense this morning went away and we can still be good friends” You smiled as Yoongi smiled back.
“Of course” He replied as you felt a sense of relief that your bosses son didn’t hate you anymore.
“Great!”
The work day had finish and Yoongi and you were cleaning up, Yoongi’s mom came back to the cafe and all of you sat down to have some cake and tea to enjoy the evening. “Y/n, it’s getting late already do you want to stay at the cafe for the night?” Yoongi’s mother asked but you just shook your head.
“No it’s okay, I would hate to disturb you” You declined softly as she shook her head.
“Nonsense, you’re like a daughter to me!” She smiled brightly as you smiled back.
“I guess I have to now” You grinned.
“You can borrow some of Yoongi’s old clothing it might be a little bigger than you’re used to though.” She smiled escorting you to your room which was the guest room. Yoongi handed you his old clothing.
“I hope the clothing is clean but I haven’t worn these in forever.” Yoongi grinned, as his hand rested on the back of his head. You laughed as you walked to the guest washroom, changing into Yoongi’s old clothing. You hopped into bed checking your messages.
Kiwoo (11:45): Hey babe!
You (11:45): Hi!
Kiwoo (11:46): I want to see you again T-T
You (11:46): Me too, too bad I’m always working now.
Kiwoo (11:46): We should have a study date soon!
You (11:47): Yess that would be amazing!
Kiwoo (11:47): Okay good, text you tomorrow. Love you!
You (11:48): Love you too!
You had the best sleep in your life it was much better than your crummy apartment, you wanted so badly yo move into a better apartment but you had to wait to earn money little by little. Kiwoo and your anniversary were coming up and you were saving up money for his gift, Kiwoo already bought your gift and you wanted to get a better gift for him this year. “Y/n you can have the day off” Yoongi’s mother grinned.
“I thought you needed extra hands today?” You asked as she grinned.
“Not today! I got invited to a baking festival to judge the cakes!” She grinned excitedly. “Actually, could you take Yoongi shopping or something? He needs to leave the house more often.”
“Of course, I would love to” You grinned excitedly to finally hang out with Yoongi where you weren’t working.
Yoongi went to go check up the music store checking the newest tracks as if he wasn’t already caught up. You dragged him with you to all the stores where you knew Kiwoo would enjoy buying items from there, once you found the perfect gift you headed to the cashier to pay for it, you spotted someone very familiar.
“Kiwoo?” You shouted to the guy, seeing the man turn around you noticed it was Kiwoo but he was with another person. A girl.
“Y/n!” He smiled brightly, walking with the girl with him.
“Who’s this?” You smiled as she smiled back.
“Unnie, don’t you remember? It’s me, Soomi!” Soomi smiled brightly, the Soomi you remember was a little twelve-year-old girl but she was sent to a private school from her parents right when you started dating Kiwoo so you never saw her often.
“Oh my goodness, Soomi you’ve grown so much!” You grinned as you pulled her in for a hug.
“Unnie, who’s that?” Soomi asked pointing to the slightly asleep Yoongi who was holding onto your items.
“This is Yoongi, I know him from work we were looking for an anniversary gift for your brother but I guess I’ll have to wait till next time to go find one if you tell your brother” You pouted as she widened her eyes.
“Of course not Unnie!” She used her hands to clasp her mouth.
“Y/n!” Kiwoo grinned as he came back with a coat that he wanted to buy.
“Kiwoo, it’s nice to see you today” You grinned as he pulled you in for a hug.
“I thought you were working today?” Kiwoo asked as you smiled brightly.
“Boss let me have a day off today” You smiled as Kiwoo grinned, kissing you on the cheek.
“Ah, and you brought him with you today?” Kiwoo tried to smile as Yoongi only gave him a slight glare.
“Is there a problem?” Yoongi asked as he walked closer to you and the others.
“There is actually, I don’t see my girlfriend every day and now I come to the mall with my little sister and I see her and you of all people are hanging out with her” Kiwoo clenches his teeth.
“It’s fine Kiwoo, I asked him to come with me to help me pick up a couple things.” You tried to calm him down.
“Why didn’t you ask me?” Kiwoo asked as he started to feel more jealous.
“Because I couldn’t because it was for you” You simply answered seeing Kiwoo go back to his normal self, he started to grin again.
“Oh! Of course, sorry Y/n I don’t know what came over me” Kiwoo smiled.
“It’s fine!” You grinned as Yoongi scoffed.
“Let’s go Y/n, we should buy some treats for the cats.” Yoongi walked away from the bunch.
“Hey let’s hang out later, You still live in that crusty apartment?” Kiwoo suggested as you grinned.
“Sure and yeah” You answered.
“You know I could just buy you a new apartment right?” Kiwoo looked at you with concern.
“Save your money for your tuition! Don’t waste it on me” You smiled as Kiwoo only nodded.
Yoongi and you walked down the cat food aisle when Yoongi finally spoke up “I don’t like him”
“You don’t like who?” You asked.
“Kiwoo” Yoongi stated.
“Get to know him, he’s nicer than you think.”
“I don’t want to, you should break up with him.”

This is about to get crazy, are you ready? I’ve done way over 2,000 of these, I’m sure I can handle this. Have you ever done cocaine? Nope. Not interested. Where did you buy the shirt you're wearing right now? Feliz, in one of their tiny stalls that sell trendy clothes for a lot cheaper. What song would best describe your love life? I always go with Still Into You - Paramore because it’s my favorite band, it’s their happiest song, and because my relationship’s been going on for a while which is what the song celebrates. What are you going to do after this? Another survey, probably. In the mood for these tonight.
Are you wearing jeans? Hell no. I brought Cooper to the vet today (also the first time I drove out IN THREE MONTHS) and even then I didn’t opt for jeans. Have you ever kissed the last person you texted? That’s my dad, and that would be disgusting. I’ve kissed him on the cheeks though. Has anyone ever called you a whore? Pretty sure we had a bully with anger issues in 6th grade that liked calling me either slut or whore, I’m not sure which it was anymore. I was too depressed in that grade that I wasn’t even bothered by her at all. Who were you last in a car with? Cooper; I had to take him to the vet. His diarrhea had turned bloody so we needed an emergency checkup. Are you in a good mood right now? Not really. My PMS has arrived so I’m in the mood to be on the rooftop, be alone, and cry over nothing lmao. I wish I still had my vape pen. Has anyone ever told you that you have pretty eyes? Maybe once or twice, but it’s not the most striking thing about my face so I don’t get too many compliments about it. Have you lost interest in someone recently? In something, yeah. Quarantine (and the fact that I’m graduating) has so far made me lose interest in my extracurriculars and recently I’ve been getting irritated every time I still get assigned to do work for my org. I’m detached now, please get the hint guys. Is there anyone who you think you deserve an apology from? My mom I guess, for the 22+ years of trauma and emotional abuse. Have you ever played the guitar? I’ve played around with it, but I don’t actually know how to play it well. Has anything "cute" happened in the past week? My dogs. Could you handle living with the last person you talked to on the phone? I already do. It was my dad. Cooper is technically his dog, so when I brought him to the vet I had to contact him repeatedly via text and call to answer some of the vet’s questions. Do you ever take your anger out on others? That was definitely my tendency before, but I’ve seen how that destroys other people so I’ve made it a point to avoid it completely. What grade is the last person you texted in? He hasn’t been in school since 1993. Do you still talk to the person you had feelings for 6 months ago? Yes indeed. Do you know what you want to be when you grow up? I’m quite there already, and yeah sure. I have a general field I see myself being in, but I haven’t thought about what specific job titles I want. Has anyone seen you in your underwear lately? Nopes. Where's your phone right now? Beside me. Have you ever liked someone older than you? Just celebrity crushes hahaha but no one irl. Are you the oldest child? The youngest? In the middle? Only child? I’m the eldest of two other siblings. This survey isn’t as crazy as you pitched it to be so far... Would you rather be called 'honey' or 'baby'? Baby. Not a fan of honey as in recent years it’s been used in a condescending tone to talk down on someone during an argument lol Was the first person to text you today a boy or a girl? Boy. Man, to be more accurate. Is there anyone who doesn't like you because of something you did? I’m sure I’ve pissed off a number of people here and there. When did you last say "I love you"? Did you mean it? Not sure, this morning I think? Yeah, I always mean it when I say it. Are you talking to anyone right now? Nope, am all about this survey right now. Is there someone who pops into your mind at random times? Sure, it happens. My mind’s constantly running so I’m no longer surprised if I go from thinking about a friend to suddenly remembering a sales clerk I may have had a brief interaction with five years ago lmao. What or who is on your mind right now? I’m deciding if I should go for coffee or soju tonight. But I’m PMSing, so I think the choice is obvious. Right handed or left handed? Right. Have you ever had chicken pox? Not yet, which is all the more reason to be terrified haha. I heard it’s worse when you’re older :( Did you buy anything today? Not with my money but I bought new medicine for Cooper (he’s already taking two but the vet added one more since they now found protozoa in his stool) and also ~glucose monohydrate~ to mix with his water. His stool’s looked much better ever since he took these two today so I’ve finally stopped worrying. Last person to lay in your bed, besides you? If it’s not Gabie, they’re not allowed to be on my bed. Other than people, I’ve only had Kimi lie in my bed. I’ve wanted to bring Cooper on it too, but I gotta give it to Kimi. My bed is his throne and it’ll stay his :) When's the last time you took a shower? This morning, but I’ll probs be taking another one tonight. Would you ever camp out on a beach under the stars? I honestly prefer a hotel/resort room nearby lolol. Idk, I just feel like too much sand around would just make me irritable, as much as I love the beach. Are you listening to music right now? If so, what? No music at the moment. Do you prefer warm or cold weather? Cold. Freezing cold. Make me wear three layers of clothing under the thickest blanket. I’ve had enough of tropical climate. What were you doing at 7am this morning? Playing with the pup. Were you happy when you woke up this morning? I was mostly annoyed that my body clock woke me up so early again, actually. Has anyone gotten on your nerves today? Oh my godddd yeah. I went out to go to the vet today and I figured, why not see Gabie? I called her up thinking she’d be stoked about the idea, but being the worrier/pessimist she was she instead gave me a barrage of what if’s and just sounded so unenthusiastic. It killed off my excitement by 200% and by the end of the call I just wanted to stay home lmao. What are you excited for, if anything? More and more people from other colleges in my school are starting to upload their graduation photos on Facebook and I can’t wait for my opportunity aahhh. Do you think anyone is thinking of you right now? Doubt it. When was the last time you cried really hard? I don’t remember if it was this Monday or Tuesday. My mom got annoyed over a small issue and, unsurprisingly, took it out on me and my siblings. The words thrown to us that night were a little harsher than usual so I spent my sweet time crying when everyone was asleep and drowning myself in soju. When did you last hug someone? Who was it? An hour or so ago; Kimi. Are you afraid of roller coasters, or have you never been on one? I went on this beginner-level-type roller coaster in Singapore thinking that I could at least handle that one. I was wrong, and I had a headache for the rest of the day. How's life going for you? Welp. All of my grades are in, so I’m pretty much a graduate now but I’d like to wait for the email from my college to come in before I make anything official. I feel weird about it, sad about it...I should’ve been having my graduation ceremony this Sunday. I’m proud of myself for finishing, of course, but that feeling will never feel full now. It’s just unfortunate that a virus ruined the dream scenarios I had with my dream school. Other than that I’m really just letting the days pass by at home, but at least I’m genuinely happy with my dogs. Have you ever done something outrageously dumb? I do one of that at least once a week, I’m sure. Are you keeping a secret right now? Sure. Can you go an hour without talking? Easily. Has anyone put their arms around you in the past week? Yes, my dad pulled me close for a hug earlier tonight to thank me for handling the Cooper stuff today. Is your hair longer than your shoulders? No, it’s perfectly resting on them at the moment. Are your nails painted? If so, what colour? Nopes. Do you know anyone else with your name? Two people with the same spelling, four people who share my name in general. Do you think you'll ever get married? Do you want to? I will, I’ll make it happen lol. Which do you prefer: summer or fall? If we had fall, I think I’d like it more because summer’s my least favorite anyway. Who do you care about the most? My friends and my dogs.
