I moved to the Midwest here in the US from Philippines. When I arrived here last March it was a huge experience of trying to absorb what was going on and at the same time acclimate to the cold weather!!!! 😅 I never expected for it to be soooo cold as I came from a tropical country (we don’t have 4 seasons). But yeah, pretty exciting! Can’t wait for this new life ✨

( OUR HUMBLE QUEEN. ) has dated like half of the campus back in highschool tho which is kinda messy but like, who cares yk? might be academically smart, but in no way is she street smart. has no survival instincts whatsoever which is also why she stays humbled. ( maybe due to yns teasing/bullying as well… )

╰ yn's locker buddy, always lost along with yn whenever it comes to anything academic related. minji tutors her for free drinks and extra compensation at any frat parties. stays up throughout the night, EVERYDAY, just to snooze during class. has a soft spot for yn that's genuinely so adorable to watch from another point of view, but when it comes to anyone else she's usually just a big troll and a tease. speaking of her being a troll, LOVES, trolling her teachers, not to be annoying but just for the sake of trolling. on the verge of dropping out but stays for the sake of her friends, AND the frat parties. hates yn's boyfriend to guts, but keeps that to herself. ( most of the time. ) quite literally aspires to be one of the 'cool, rich aunties' for her friends future children which is also what motivates her to stay in uni.

O jogador estrela da Geração Z da Ryujin Nippon, Ran Takahashi, é o primeiro jogador de vôlei japonês a ser nomeado embaixador da marca Dior. Saiba mais sobre o galã aqui!

É hora de aprimorar suas habilidades de japonês, especialmente com o retorno do galã Ran Takahashi a Manila.

Há tantas coisas para amar no Japão, e se você é fã de vôlei, Ran Takahashi é outro motivo para abraçar todas as coisas nipônicas. Mas quem exatamente é esse atleta japonês que conquistou os corações dos filipinos?

O atacante externo Ran Takahashi, do Ryujin Nippon (seleção japonesa de vôlei), é natural de Kyoto, Japão, e começou a jogar vôlei na escola primária e foi para o ensino médio praticando principalmente o esporte como líbero.

Com suas habilidades e desempenho incríveis, ele atuou como ás e capitão de seu time em seu terceiro ano na Escola Higashiyama. Na faculdade, ele foi para a Universidade Nippon Sport Science e levou seu time ao Campeonato Intercolegial de Vôlei All Japan de 2020. Seu desempenho consistente como atleta e seu comprometimento com o esporte eventualmente o levaram a fazer parte da seleção masculina de vôlei do Japão.

Ele pode ter tido uma reputação excelente muito antes de visitar as Filipinas, mas sua primeira visita ao país para a Liga das Nações de Vôlei da FIVB de 2022 (VNL) solidificou sua popularidade entre os fãs filipinos e atingiu o auge durante o retorno da VNL a Manila em Junho de 2024. Infelizmente, ele só conseguiu jogar uma partida devido à lesão no joelho.

As Olimpíadas de Paris de 2024 permitiram que os fãs sintonizassem mais uma vez a jornada de vôlei de Ryujin Nippon, embora tenha terminado em uma derrota de partir o coração.

Ele fez sua segunda aparição nas Olimpíadas para as Olimpíadas de Paris de 2024, recentemente concluídas. O time chegou às quartas de final, mas perdeu para a Itália em uma partida estressante.

Seus irmãos também são jogadores de vôlei.

O atletismo está na família, já que os irmãos de Ran, o irmão mais velho Rui e a irmã mais nova Riri, também são jogadores de vôlei. Rui está no clube de vôlei da Universidade Nippon Sports Science, enquanto Riri joga no clube de vôlei feminino da Escola Kyoto Ryoyo.

Ran sabe falar inglês.

Não se preocupe, Ran pode conversar com você, pois ele também fala inglês. Seu avô é americano e ele também teve que estudar inglês quando jogou na Liga Italiana de Vôlei.

“Nós falamos línguas estrangeiras apenas no exterior. Eu gostaria que você tentasse falar uma língua estrangeira se tiver essa oportunidade. Se você tem um amigo do exterior, espero que tenha uma conversa ativa com ele. Acho isso fascinante e tenho orgulho disso. É ótimo que muitas pessoas falem inglês, mas tenho orgulho de poder falar japonês”, disse Ran em seu vlog no YouTube.

Em alguns casos, Ran concede entrevistas em inglês para integrar milhares de entusiastas e fãs de vôlei no mundo todo.

Ele jogou vôlei profissionalmente na Itália.

Talvez para ampliar seus horizontes e experiências de vida, Ran se inscreveu e estreou na Liga Italiana de Vôlei em 2021 e continuou em 2024 até recentemente. Mais tarde, assinou um contrato de 2024 com o Suntory Sunbirds e jogará profissionalmente na Liga Japonesa de Vôlei desta vez.

Ran cria laços com amigos não japoneses por meio de anime.

Ele citou One Piece, Dragon Ball, Naruto, Demon Slayer, Attack on Titan, My Hero Academia e Sailor Moon como alguns que são populares no exterior, mas confessou que nunca viu Naruto e declarou seu amor por One Piece.

Ran compartilhou em seu vlog que masca chiclete antes de uma partida, ouve música e tenta não pensar na partida. Esta última é uma maneira engraçada de lidar, mas também seria um conselho muito bom para aliviar a tensão e o nervosismo antes de um grande momento.

Ran se livra do estresse de maneiras relacionáveis.

O jogador estrela compartilhou que desestressa ouvindo música, caminhando ou apenas sentado sob o sol.

Os fãs filipinos sabem que ele ama bananas.

Como atleta, Ran acha as bananas, como uma boa fonte de potássio, realmente benéficas. Seus fãs filipinos o capturaram várias vezes comendo uma banana enquanto estava no banco, o que o tornou ainda mais querido pela multidão.

Ran respondeu em japonês a um usuário do X/Twitter, escrevendo: "Bananas filipinas são deliciosas".

Como Ran ama música, não é surpresa que ame tocar violão. Ele teria começado a tocar depois de receber como presente de aniversário de seus veteranos no clube de vôlei da universidade.

Ele também foi flagrado cantando "I Want It That Way" dos Backstreet Boys com seus companheiros de equipe do Ryujin Nippon. Ele compartilhou em seu vlog que ama a música dos artistas japoneses Yuuri e Mrs. Green Apple.

A derrota nas Olimpíadas de Paris ensinou a Ran uma lição valiosa.

A derrota apertada do Japão para a Itália foi evidentemente de partir o coração para Ran Takahashi, já que vários vídeos dele chorando e se emocionando após a partida viralizaram. Gianluca Galassi, seu amigo da seleção italiana, até abraçou Ran para oferecer conforto após o jogo.

“Não tínhamos força para vencer. Ainda precisamos ficar mais fortes e melhorar nossa capacidade de vencer. Acho que esse é o tipo de jogo que jogamos. Usaremos essa decepção como trampolim para o próximo”, disse Ran na entrevista pós-jogo.
