I've made lot of gifs, and the format is really annoying so I'd gladly make animations in a different format. But gif is the only format that consistently

To the last one, it's crazy annoying that Discord saves custom emoji as webp but won't let you upload webp files to create emoji, and I have to assume it's a similar case with webm.

Because webm doesn't consistently get handled like a gif, I've got no reason to try making webm directly in the first place.
