As someone who LOVES the snow...

This love is probably due to the fact that I’ve always lived in areas where the snow rarely gets higher than a few inches. AKA all of the fun, limited scope of inconvenience. And because it’s so infrequent, WE GET TO ENJOY IT I LOVE IT SO MUCH.

 The down side is, it is so infrequent that people don’t know what to do when it happens. 

 So please, stay warm and safe everyone and enjoy the snow!

may i asked what happened with fiirkiin? you dont have to answer if you dont want to

uhh we used to be friends, even tho we drifted apart, and one day i saw that rbed a blog on my dash talking about killing all muslims by sending boars and pigs, since it would send us straight to hell. the post got more and more detailed and honestly horrific as it went along, and fiir/kiin even added onto it, agreeing in all caps that they should kill all muslims

as a muslim and her friend i was horrified and furious, so i sent her a message as to what she did and how it upset me, and then told her i was blocking her. she proceeded to send a message to me with her sideblog, which was all cryptyping and the usual ‘im so sorry’ but worse

so yeah i dont want to talk to her because people who agree with that are disgusting :/

quick rundown of what’s been going on in my world recently

Hoo boy I’ve been busy.

I’m bombarded with homework currently cause ya girl procrastinated. I need to get my geometry grade up because I’m almost failing but I’ll be fine it’ll be gucci.

ANYWAY TIME FOR THE JUICY STUFF

from thurs.-sat. afternoon I was at a Greek and Latin convention (ILJCL to be exact). I participated in a costume contest and competitive testing. I got fourth place out of 300 students on a test about Latin phrases/mottos/quotes, and I got third place in a test in Ancient Greek derivatives. I know that all sounds kinda nerdy and it’s a mouthful but to summarize: I GUESS IM P FUCKING GOOD AT LATIN AND GREEK

On Saturday evening I went to an LP concert (for those of you who don’t know who LP is she’s an amazing indie pop singer I love her) with @a-bbykp and our other friend. It was amazing we got to hold LP’s hand and after the show we met the opening singer, Kat Cunning. She really liked the three of us and we’re now instagram mutualism which is so fucking cool??

Biggest thing:

I’m currently helping organize a protest/walkout thing at my school in response to the school shooting in florida two weeks ago. I’ve been meeting with several other students and teachers as well as the principal about how to organize this and better prepare for and prevent something like that happening at our school. It’s stressful but also rewarding. I’ve also been put in charge of designing a post card-ish thing that will be handed out at a prayer service at my school on Friday. It looks pretty good so far:

Ye gods! I worked really hard on these, holy crap. My style has REALLY improved over the summer, and I’m quite proud of these two sketches in particular! I still don’t know how to draw hands though ;-; @ferrousxenon
