DREAME ( 드림미 ) is a south korean girl group under OCTAVIA MUSIC CO., a sub-label of GLASSHOUSE INC. originally debuting in 2017 as STUPID CUPID under MIGHTY DEVIL, five-member group—CHESKA, AIMEE, TOMIE, JEANNE, and VIVA—was known for their vibrant, quirky concept as chaotic cupids. rebranded as DREAME in 2024, the group now embraces a darker, more introspective theme, portraying puppets fighting for freedom from unseen forces.

life  was  hard  for  CHIEKO  for  most  of  her  childhood  years.  she  grew  up  in  a  low-income  family  of  three,  struggling  to  live  and  knowing  about  the  cruelties  of  life  before  every  other  child  her  age  could.  her  mother  tried  everything  to  make  things  easier  for  her  child,  but  chieko  can  remember  every  night  the  older  woman  burst  into  tears  as  she  struggled  with  bills  slowly  racking  up  on  the  table.  her  education  was  going  downhill  because  the  more  she  refused  to  go  to  school,  in  worry  that  she’ll  trouble  her  mother  even  more.  when  she  was  only  twelve,  chieko  passed  an  audition  to  be  a  member  of  AKB48  as  their  fifteenth  member  of  the  ninth  generation.  she  promoted  as  a  group  member  until  2014  when  she  announced  she  would  be  graduating  from  the  group  and  moving  to  south  korea  company  due  to  being  scouted.  this  created  a  divide  among  her  fans,  with  most  complaining  about  how  unfair  she  was  to  other  group  members  and  how  she  never  belonged  in  akb48.  despite  all  that,  chieko  moved  to  korea  where  she  trained  in  MIGHTY  DEVIL  with  other  trainees  and  was  supposed  to  debut  around  2016.  however,  that  plan  failed  once  half  the  trainees  of  CUPID’s  PROJECT  left,  leaving  only  chieko  and  four  other  members  to  debut  in  2017  as  STUPID  CUPID, later rebranded as DREAME.  chieko,  going  as  CHESKA  in  the  group,  received  the  roles  of  LEADER,  LEAD  VOCALIST  and  LEAD  DANCER,  showing  her  vocals  off  more  than  when  she  was  in  akb48.

Birthed from the project A NEW BIRTH , a nine membered group full of strongest trainees in the company. A New Birth consisted of (now) debuted groups ANTOINETTE, NAIA, and BRUIXA. Trainee ISADORA KIM, leader of pre-disbanded Bluebell, was outed for bullying trainees for the duration of her two year trainee period.

Their debut was immediate. No teasers, no formal introductions just Opalite's debut song on their Youtube. To say the least, the members were not prepared. Up until now, they've all trained separately so the group dynamic was awkward to say the least. Stepping up to the plate, MYA was the member to pull the group together and polish their acts.

The video was released into the public on JUNE 9, 2022 originally for Hyacinth's upcoming group ANTOINETTE, but RINA and newly appointed creator director LEE EUN-HYE decided this was perfect. Later on that week, it was announced that Opalite's debut mini album HUMAN PSYCHE would be released that month.

The girls immediately stood out, their mysterious concept contrasting the nostalgic, pure act of Bluebell.

Sonically, the music of Opalite is split into their two respective concepts : EROS EMBRACE is a celestial, serene sound paired with Shoegaze, UK garage, New Jack Swing, while TEN OF SWORDS is concise in it's influences of dark EDM, R&B, and deep house.

Today, Opalite has a rapidly growing fanbase. They have a unique, dedicated following, especially among fans who appreciate more narrative-driven concepts within groups.  ⠀⠀  ⠀nakyung was born on april 1st, 2001 as nicole lee in toronto, canada. she grew up in port hope, ontario, canada with her older brother, daniel, and younger sister, ciara. her mother, angie, worked as a middle school music teacher and her father, joshua, was a construction worker.

 ⠀⠀  ⠀she became interested in music early on, her mother teaching her how to play guitar and piano as soon as she was old enough. when nakyung wanted to be a singer “just like stevie nicks” at eight-years-old, angie put her in vocal lessons.

 ⠀⠀  ⠀after being persuaded by her best friend, she joins the free ballet classes at her school with her. she starts to take dance and her vocals more seriously, finding it more fun than instruments. 

 ⠀⠀  ⠀when she’s thirteen, her parents tell her and her siblings that her mother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer the year before. they wanted to wait to see if chemotherapy would help. angie had gotten laid off from her job, leaving joshua the only financial support. 

 ⠀⠀  ⠀for more financial stability and emotions support, the lee family moved from canada to south korea to stay with angie’s parents. nicole didn’t even have time to say goodbye to her friends.

 ⠀⠀  ⠀nicole, now going by nakyung, didn’t make very much friends in her new school and kept mostly to herself. she got a job under the table as a waitress to help her parents with bills, telling her family she was at a dance studio by her school.

 ⠀⠀  ⠀while working, she was scouted by pledis entertainment. despite her parents thinking it was sketchy and cult-like, she auditioned and was accepted. as her brother was going to seoul national university, she moved to seoul with him to train at pledis.

 ⠀⠀  ⠀in 2016, nakyung’s parents announced that angie was in remission. she started working as a teacher again after becoming healthier.

 ⠀⠀  ⠀nakyung was in the final line-up for pledis’ upcoming girl group, but was pulled out due to ‘not being ready’. she almost left the company until her mother convinced her to stay and become better.

 ⠀⠀  ⠀with no news of a new pledis girl group, nakyung volunteered herself to join mnet’s survival show, produce 48. she would end up placing second in the last episode and debuting in temporary girl group, IZ*ONE, in 2018.

 ⠀⠀  ⠀in 2020, nakyung’s parents announced that angie’s cancer had came back— being part of the 10-20 percentage of ovarian cancer recurrence. angie would not try chemotherapy again, wanting to be with her family and go to new zealand. due to the pandemic, the family would ultimately stay in korea and not fulfill angie’s wish.

 ⠀⠀  ⠀in 2021, her mother dies and IZ*ONE disbands. nakyung is not seen for a long time, not even by her IZ*ONE members until her OST song for kdrama ‘twenty-five twenty-one’, stardust love song, was announced. she would, again, disappear.

 ⠀⠀  ⠀in 2022, it is assumed nakyung left pledis around this time as she later joins S2 entertainment after lee haein offered her a spot in ber upcoming girl group.

͙͘͡ ★ ◞  FATHER.     joshua lee was born march 13th, 1973 in daegu, south korea as lee jaehyun. the day he turned eighteen, he left his house and moved to canada with his best friend and legally changed his name to joshua lee. he met angela park in 1994 and would go on to have three children with her. the first being daniel in 1997, nicole in 2001, and ciara in 2004. he doesn’t want to be in korea when they have to move but does it for his wife. when angie dies in 2021, he completely barricades himself in their room. one day, his number is changed and all of his belongings are gone. we never find out what happened to him but he either killed himself or changed his name again and started a new life. he is referred to as ‘dad’ or ‘deadbeat’. (non affectionately)

͙͘͡ ★ ◞  MOTHER.     angela ‘angie’ lee was born on october 29th, 1975 in jeju, south korea as park jangmi. she goes by angela or angie now because she likes the name. she was studying abroad in canada when she met joshua. in 2012, she is diagnosed with ovarian cancer. together, they decide to bare the news on their shoulders alone and decide not to tell anyone unless chemotherapy doesn’t work. it begins to work, but it’s too expensive and she’s laid off. they have to move to seoul to be near her family for help. she hates the person she is while on chemo, and turns to god in her sickness and health, even when she’s in remission in 2016. she begins working again. in 2020, the cancer come back, but angie doesn’t want to be on chemo again. she wants to be with her family, in new zealand. but then they can’t go and she dies in korea. she is referred to as ‘mom’.

͙͘͡ ★ ◞  BROTHER.     daniel lee was born on august 15th, 1997 in toronto, canada. he grew up teasing his younger sisters, ever so mean to them during puberty but there for them when they were upset. his relationship with his parents wasn’t so great, always noting a difference in the way they brought him up compared to his sisters. when he was eighteen, he left for seoul national university in 2015 with his sister. he now works as a cyber security engineer. he is referred to as ‘daniel’, ‘danny’ or ‘dumbass’. ͙͘͡ ★ ◞  SISTER.     ciara lee was born on november 3rd, 2004 in ontario, canada. she grew up wanting to be everything like her sister, wanting to be around her constantly. she slightly grew up in nakyung’s shadow, but that didn’t matter to her— it just made her want to be her even more. she wants to become an idol just like her older sister— and she will. she currently lives with their aunt, sooyoung, and her girlfriend, bora, in busan, south korea. she is referred to as ‘chaeyoung’ or ‘cee’ or ‘ciara’.

Jung Yoonah (Korean: 정윤아, born November 16, 1998), known professionally as Baebi (Korean: 배바이; Japanese: ベビ), is a Korean singer, dancer, and actress based in South Korea. She is a member of the South Korean girl group Venus, formed by Angelico Entertainment in 2018. She is portrayed by Jennie Kim, Im Youha, & Go Minsi.

Yoonah was born on November 16, 1998, in Guri, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea as an only child. Her mother taught art at a university while her father worked in sales. Yoonah began dancing at the age of three, being put in ballet by her mother.

Yoonah trained in ballet from a young age, having practiced it for eleven years before debuting with Venus.

Yoonah would attend the School of Performing Arts Seoul (SOPA; Korean: 서울공연예술고등학교 / 서공예), where she would be scouted by Angelico Entertainment.

𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟐 - 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟑 : 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐨 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬.

While attending SOPA, Yoonah would be scouted by Angelico's CEO, Son Jinhwa, and COO, Jeon Jihan, through an open audition the pair hosted at the school. She was scouted for her visual and dancing skills.

Yoonah would become a frequent feature in Priority music videos, acting as a love interest to the boys or as a backup dancer. She would also model for various CF brands and commercials.

In Januaray 2014, it was announced that Yoonah would debut in Angelico's first-ever girl group, Emphasis.

𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟒 - 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟕: 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐬, 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬.

Yoonah debuted with Angelico Entertainment's Emphasis on May 21, 2014. Emphasis officially debuted and released their first mini album, EMPRINTSIS, accompanied by the title tracks "Symphony" and "Road Trip."

Emphasis would have their first and final comeback with their second mini album, EMPATHSIS, promoting the title tracks"Love Bomb" and "Wee Woo!" before falling into a year of inactivity.

On May 24, 2016, Emphasis was officially disbanded. Angelico Entertainment announced that Yoonah would be staying with the label.

Following Emphasis's disbandment, Yoonah would return to training and join Angelico's pre-debut team, "Angellies." The group would rotate trainees and perform around South Korea. The team would operate on a ranking system voted on by the fans they would garner from their performances and live streams.

Yoonah was a prominent member of the Angellies, often being voted as the fan favorite in their monthly rankings. By the end of the group's run, Yoonah was the second-most-voted fan favorite.

In 2016, Yuuna would officially take on the stage name Baebi.

In 2017, Angellies would be discontinued to prepare for Angelico's new girl group debut.

𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟖: 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐔𝐒

On March 17, 2018, Baebi would officially debut in VENUS with the release of their first extended play (EP), SHE DEVIL, and its lead single, "SHE DEVIL."

She is the group's leader, main dancer, main vocalist, and lead rapper.

𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟗: 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐭

In late 2019, Baebi made her debut as a solo artist with the EP Bubble Pop!.  She released her debut extended play (EP), Bubble Pop!, in June 2019. It peaked at number two on South Korea's Gaon Album Chart, and charted atop the US Billboard World Albums. As of 2023, it has sold 360,000 copies in South Korea. 

Bubble Pop! 's commercial success was the main contributor to Angelico Entertainment's leading music sales. The song peaked at number one in South Korea, where it has sold over 2.5 million digital units. To accompany her solo release, Baebi held a series of small concerts called Baebi's Summer Splash. She was awarded Best Female Artist at the 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards and at the 2020 Golden Disk Awards.

𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏 - 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭: 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬

She made her acting debut in the 2021 Netflix K-drama Squid Game, in which she played Han Doyun, an unpaid intern at an unnamed company, alongside her husband, Han Wonil, played by Jang Kiha of Priority,  who need money to pay off their ever-mounting debt.

Doyun became a fan favorite, and Jung was called Squid Game's breakout star by critics. For her performance on the show, Jung won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series at the 28th Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Baebi has had a controversial relationship with Mydol CEO Son Jinhwa. An anonymous source revealed the pair's relationship to the public in 2022, resulting in a wave of backlash that led to Jinhwa stepping down from his position as CEO of Angelico Entertainment and Baebi going on a brief hiatus. The pair never confirmed their relationship.

In 2023, Baebi would confirm her relationship with Kim Juwon, the lead vocalist of the boy group Priority. The pair had been dating for three years before the announcement, silently putting the rumors of her and Son Jinhwa's relationship to rest. Baebi and Juwon would break up in 2024 after spending five years together.

Baebi has been a vocal mental health advocate, being very open about her struggles with depression and anxiety. She often donates to mental health charities and volunteers at children's hospitals in her spare time.

ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁 ♱.ᐟ KVRMA, pronounced as KARMA, is a six-member fictional boy group. They debuted on October 19th, 2019 under CHOSEN ONES ENTERTAINMENT with an original lineup that consisted of seven members. Coming from a middle tier company that had nearly gone under due to scandal years prior, watchers of the company didn't expect much from KVRMA when they were first announced. Momentum shifted in the group's favor though when the lineup was revealed to the public.

Having a lineup with a very popular child actor and two idols from previous groups, KVRMA instantly drew in a lot of fans when debut teaser were dropped. With a concept that revolves round each member representing one of the seven deadly sins, the hype for their debut was high. Their debut song CRUELTY was met with much fanfare, both positive and negative, and shot them into the high standings of the industry as fresh rookies.

After being in the industry for three years, KVRMA was hit with a tragedy when member LJ passed away from an overdose two days before his 23rd birthday in 2021. Having been actively promoting during this time, the group made an abrupt exit from the industry and was on indefinite hiatus for roughly a year and a half. Throughout this time period, no official word was given from Chosen Ones about if or when the group would be returning but most members began working on solo endeavors. Twenty months after LJ's death, KVRMA returned to the scene in 2023 to a very warm welcome from both past and new fans.

Comic Club ( Hangul : 코믹 클럽 ), is a fictional thirteen-member boy group under I-Teen Media which consists of the members divided into three active sub-units to promote in. They made their official debut on September 19, 2024, with the mini album MARMORIS.

On February 25, 2024, Mnet announced the release of a new survival show, I-Star (Idol Stars), a sequel to their previous survival show, I-Doll, which had 70 female trainees compete for a chance to debut in a thirteen-member lineup. I-Star had the same premise but made 53 male trainees compete to debut in a boy group with a thirteen-member lineup, which was chosen by viewers all around the globe. The final lineup is a very controversial topic due to the many investigations of alleged sabotage between the contestants and eliminated I-Star members have claimed they experienced broken microphones, ripped outfits, or even blackmail, though nothing has been confirmed or denied.

Despite the controversies, Comic Club won over the hearts of viewers with their superhero concept. They live on a fictional earth called MARMORIS, and each subunit has its own storyline, with the members being classified into roles and representing different superpowers. Their debut song, We Can Be Heroes (Superhuman), debuted with 23 million views within the first day of release and charted #3 on the Gaon Digital Chart a week after release. With the success of their debut and interesting concept, Comic Club has a lot of people tuned in to all of their future releases.

Due to the big I-Star scandal, the members are a very controversial topic in the kpop community. Many fans theorize that the sabotage came from some of the members in the final lineup, and some even speculate that the members in the final lineup are still trying to sabotage each other. Despite the criticisms, Comic Club has undeniable talent that draws fans in daily, and their success only seems to keep going up from here.

Yoo Mirae (Korean: 유미래, born January 6, 1997), known professionally as Bliss (Korean: 블리스; Japanese: 至福), is a Korean singer, dancer, and actress based in South Korea. She is a former member of the South Korean girl group Venus, formed by Angelico Entertainment in 2018. She is portrayed by Lee Yoomi & Wendy Son.

Mirae was born on January 6, 1997, in Gunpo, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. Her mother is the esteemed musical theatre actress Yoo Misun. Mirae attended high school at the School of Performing Arts in Seoul. Throughout her school years, she starred in multiple school musicals. She joined a school drama club and earned more experience in the entertainment industry by attending auditions.

In 2014, Mirae joined Angelico Entertainment as a trainee after passing its auditions. 

In October 2014, she appeared in Emphasis' music video for "Du Du Du!" as a lifeguard. The same year, she starred in Priority's "Say You Love Me" music video as Reid's love interest. In 2015, she would be featured in W Korea alongside Kang Juwon of Priority. Mirae would do a lot of modeling pre-debut, working with brands such as Laneige, Nature Republic, Amuse, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, and Etude House.

On March 17, 2018, Mirae would officially debut in VENUS with the release of their first extended play (EP), SHE DEVIL, and its lead single, "SHE DEVIL." She would take on the stage name "Bliss."

She was the group's co-leader, main rapper, and main vocalist.

On March 24, 2021, Bliss was announced as a cast member for the musical Midnight Sun as Seo Haena, with DAY6's Wonpil, Baekho, DeepDive's Kiwoo, GOT7's Youngjae, Shinee's Onew, Kang Hye-in, Kei, and Lee Ah-jin. On June 10, 2024, during the Venus contract transfer, Bliss, unlike the other four members of Venus, would not sign with Mydol Entertainment. A letter announcing Bliss's departure from the group would be posted to Venus' social media accounts.

It is still under heavy debate if Bliss left the group or was removed by Mydol CEOs.

On August 7th, 2024, Bliss renewed her contract with Angelico Entertainment.

Before her debut with Venus, Yoonah featured in advertisements for Samsonite, Smart Uniform, LG Electronics, and Nikon. 

In September 2018, Bliss and band-mate Baebi became endorsement models for Japanese cosmetics brand Kiss Me. 

In September 2021, Bliss was announced as the new host of the program Music Bank with L.O.L's Jesse. For their performance on the program, they were awarded with the Best Couple Award at the 2021 KBS Entertainment Awards.

In February 2021, Korean clothing brand It Michaa selected Bliss as its muse for its Spring 2021 collection. She was also appointed for the summer 2021 campaign on It Michaa's line, For a Day Michaa. 

In 2022, Coca-Cola Korea selected Bliss as an endorsement model for Dr Pepper.

In January 2023, Bliss stepped down as Music Bank host after sixteen months in the role.

In February 2023, Bliss became the new muse for the South Korean casual fashion brand SJSJ.

In December 2023, Dyson selected Bliss as its official Brand Ambassador, representing the new Dyson hair care products. Then, in January 2024, the American athletic apparel retailer Alo Yoga announced Bliss as the new face for its spring 2024 campaign.
