It was so stressing. What? Everything! Just everything! Okay, Leeseo loved it, the working with the girls, the fans and IVE's new comeback but... it was so stressing.

So she was stressed. Exhausted. Too much. This day Leeseo just layed down on her bed hoping to be able to relax a bit. As she laid herself on her side, she groaned of pain.

Leeseo's body hurt so much from her hard work.

Well, and because she wasn't the quietest in expressing her pain, Yujin -who was walking in front of her room through the appartment- heard her.

She opened the door and stuck her head in Leeseo's Room.

"Hey. Everything allright, Leeseo-yah?" she asked, looking worried.

"Yeah.. kinda... I'm just a bit ...my body hurts." Leeseo answered and turned around, that she layed on her back.

"Ohhh I see." Yujin answered. "Can I come in?" she then asked.

"Sure" Leeseo said and Yujin stepped in. She closed the door and sat on the bed, right next to her bandmate.

"Can I ... help you somehow? Maybe I could give you a massage?" Yujin offered.

"Ohh my Yujin, I love you. Rhat would be angelic!" Leeseo said, clearly happy about her friends offer.

"Okay great, then turn around and lay on your stomach, please" Leeseo's new massager said.

Said Leeseo did what the other wanted and started to relax as Yujin slowly and deeply massaged her shoulders. Leeseo groaned a bit because it kinda hurt, but it felt great at the same time.

But Leeseo was also a bit worried bcz she knew how... well, sensitive, she was. And Yujin came closer to her ... sensitive areas. Suddenly the imagined scenario of Leeseo's brain came true..

Yujin digged into her victims upper, back ribs and the poor girl shrieked surprised and embarassed.

"What, what was that? Did I just hurt you?" Yujin asked worried.

"Nono, I'm fine" Leeseo said, maybe a bit tooo quick.

A little smirk appeared and Yujins face when she moved her fingers to that spot again.

She poke her new found victim once, then twice.

"Yujiin!!" Leeseo whined. She was trying her best to not giggle.

"What, girl? I'm not doing anything! You asked for this massage, remember?" Yujin said in hee extra-sweet voice.

She sounded mischievous...

Leeseo then felt ten long nails softly scratching over her lower back and sides. She wiggled to the sides as a refex and let out some tiny giggles.

"Aww, gurl are you perhaps ticklish?" Yujin asked sweetly.

"Obviously yes~" she teased and kept softly tickling her friend.

"Yujin stoohop" Leeseo begged weakly, but her mean friend didn't want to.

"Nu-uh~ I'm having fun... And You're too, obviously ~"

"I'm nooohohoht stoop now please!!"

"But you're being too cute! Your little weak wiggles and giggles make you seem too enjoy it~"

And with that, Yujin sqeezed her friend's exposed sides softly.

General Impressions

I was hyped as soon as I saw the concept. Animecore ? Magical Girls ? Retro video game vibes ? Sailor Moon aesthetic ? Count me in. This concept has so much nostalgic value, it is insane. It felt like a girls night in a pastel purple bedroom with those fluorescent moons and stars you could stick to the windows, mountains of pillows and plushies and hot cocoa. Like a stroll through the city at night, neon signs blinking everywhere, street markets and nightlife all around you, you knowing you're about to go on a formidable magical girl adventure.

Idk but I adore this vibe so much, it has so much nostalgic and comforting vibes.

The fact that a girlgroup is willing to go in this direction when a lot of them are strapping on combat boots (nothing wrong with girlcrush, on the contrary, love it) is really refreshing. (Please don't get me started on the NewJeans drama, I love Newjeans and I'll It and I don't care about the drama and controversies, I'm just happy there's music please leave me alone, I love them both).

My World

A very nice opening track. It's bubbly and sweet, love the muffled vocals in the beginning. It feels like the opening song to a 90s girl anime. I really like the girls voices. The bass is also very yummy. It really sets the tone for the rest of the album : cute anime girls, retro game boy vibes and big doe eyes.

Magnetic

The flagship of this debut album. I know it has been all over the internet, and for good reasons. It's super catchy, adorable and a treat for the ears. Love the retro beats and game boy like sounds, the rich bass and rythm of the song are real hooks, but what sells it for me is this melodic little piano/synth/game arperggio in the background. It adds so much depth and dimension to the song. The chorus is obviously a hit. I love their voices, the arrangement, the ambiance and melody, it all just flows so well. It's a really fresh and addicitve song.

Midnight Fiction

Soooo underrated. I love this song, it really feels like sitting in your bedroom staring out the window, watching starshowers. Again, the instrumental is absolutely killing. I feel like it's the bass that pulls every song of them together so well, plus this little melody in the background. It really makes every song a little treat, like a sweet box of chocolate. The chorus is also very catchy, cute and rich at the same time.

Lucky Girl Syndrome

I think this might be my least favourite song of the album just because it strives a bit away from their original concept, or at least I feel like it's a little less original (i KNOW NewJeans has a asimilar sound, leave me alone). To me at least, it doesn't feel like a cute and shy girls night pyjama party with pillow fights and pastel bubbles but more like very extroverted girls strolling through a park in broad day light, and I just feel the impression I'll It gave me through their other songs is more of an anime magical girl night ambiance. Anywayyys, it's still a good song but not my favourite.

Conclusion

As Taejiu said on Youtube, music is great but TikTok ruined Kpop. Fight me but I agree. The songs are so good but way too short, what happened to My World, it's not even two min long. I'm also aware of their... questionable live vocals but that doesn't make me enjoy their album less. I really like listening to it, it's super comforting and cute. I'm sad about all the backlash they got, especially with all the shit happening at Hybe, but hey, so's the world. I'm just here enjoying the music.

I still can't believe that one of my biggest dream as a fangirl actually came true this year and this month 😭 pinapangarap ko lang iyun dati at hinihiling na sana mangyari, and you can't really go wrong in waiting.

Hindi ko na matandaan iyung taon pero elementary pa ata ako nung una kong nakita si Yoona sa tv. Nung pinalabas iyung Cinderella Man sa GMA. Hindi ko na maalala kung ano ang nasa isip ko nung panahong iyun pero nung nakita ko siya, inalam ko iyung pangalan niya sa opening ng palabas at simula nun, tinandaan ko talaga. Hindi ko rin matandaan kung iyung mismong taong bang iyon ko siya sinearch sa google pero tanda ko kung saan. Dun ko pa siya sinearch nun kela tita Jo sa Palmera sa computer nila. At nung mga panahong iyun, hindi pa ako marunong masyado sa computer at hanggang google lang para sa mga assignments. Tapos nakakatawa lang kasi sinearch ko siya nun pero hindi ko nakita na member pala siya ng isang girlgroup hanggang sa mapadpad ako sa wattpad nung 2011-2012. Eh nung mga panahong iyun, puro korean stars iyung mga nasa cover ng mga story tas may isa akong story na nabasa na siya iyung ginawang fictional character para sa bida. Nung mga panahong iyun, hindi ko na siya masyadong inaalala pero narealize ko na siya pala iyung bida sa Cinderella Man na nagustuhan ko. Hanggang sa sinearch ko ulit siya at nalaman ko na isa siyang member ng girlgroup which is Girls Generation. Habang iniisip ko iyung mga ito ngayon, pumapasok sa utak ko na meant to be talaga na makilala ko sila at iyun ang right time para makilala ko sila. Kasi nung grade 6 ako, sumikat iyung 2NE1 at Wondergirls pati SuJu pero hindi ko sila nakilala kahit nauna naman sila magdebut sa dalawang gg. Talagang iyung panahong iyun ang right time na makilala ko sila. Hanggang sa nagustuhan ko sila bilang girlgroup pero mas angat pa rin si Yoona nung mga panahong iyun.

Siya iyung self proclaim na first love ko 😹 Isa rin talaga sa nagustuhan ko sa kanya ay iyung pagiging totoo niya bilang tao. Kasi naman, siya iyung visual ng Girls Generation, halos karamihan ng kalalakihan, siya iyung ideal type, pero si Yoona, ang simple simple niya lang. Isa siya sa standard na beauty sa Korea pero hindi siya nahihiyang magmake face sa camera 😅 sobra akong naamaze sa kanya kasi hindi siya nahihiya sa kung ano man ang maging hitsura niya eh bilang babae diba, laging conscious sa sarili, pero siya, wala siyang pake 😭 I love her confidence sa visual niya at hindi siya nagpepeke ng characteristics para lang magustuhan siya ng mga tao.

Isa siya sa sinasabi nila na least member when it comes to singing, saying na visual lang ang kaya niyang iambag sa SoShi, other than that, wala na daw, at doon sila nagkakamali. Kasama siya sa dance line pero nung mga panahong iyun, hindi pa ako mahilig umappreciate ng sayaw 😅 but I really love her voice. Nababaliw ako nun sa boses niya 😹 guatong gusto ko kapag part niya na sa kanta, gustong gusto ko rin kapag meron siya solo performance sa concert nila at kanta ang ginagawa niya. I love the quality of her voice and that is one of many reason why I really love her. I love her inner beauty; how she never give up to reach her dreams even other's didn't believe in her. I love how she know what she wants and know how to get it. I love everything about her 😭

2012, when I officially proclaimed that I am a fan of her. I am certified YoonAddict 💗 I was 14 then, and while everyone around me is having crushes, boyfriend; ako, nababaliw kay Yoona 😹 sinabi ko pa nun na hindi ata talaga ako magkakaboyfriend kasi nag-iisa lang si Im Yoon Ah. She's my standard in everything 😸

A Walk To Remember, her first ever solo album and the first and only album (as of now) that I purchased since I became a fangirl. Kapag talaga tungkol sa kanya, ayaw kong palagpasin kasi siya siya eh. Siya si Im Yoon Ah. Sobrang tuwa ko nung nagrelease siya ng solo song which is Deoksugung Stonewall Walkway. At bilang isang YoonAddict, isa rin talaga iyun ang pinakahihintay ko, ang magreleased siya ng solo song which is already happened. At nung nagreleased siya ng solo album, hindi ko talaga pinalagpas na hindi bilhin kasi alam ko kung gaano kaspecial sa kanya ang maglabas ng ganun at isa rin talaga iyun sa one of my biggest wishes as her fan.

Tapos ngayon, fanmeeting niya ang first ever event as a fangirl na pinuntahan ko at talagang gumastos ako 😅 but it's all worth it because it's her. Although medyo malayo at blurred siya paningin ko, I'm still happy that I was there. Wala nang "so near yet so far" experience because that was what near mean for me, kahit hindi katulad sa iba na nahawakan, nayakap at nakausap siya personally, masaya pa rin ako to be with her that near. And it was really a dream that came true. And I'm so glad na naovercome ko iyung takot ko na pumunta sa crowded na lugar, medyo na feel ko lang din talaga iyung out of place but it was all worth it because of her.

all my fics feature a gender-neutral!reader whose appearance & anatomy remain ambiguous. i don’t specify the reader’s physique, skin colour, gender identity, etc. because i want everybody to be able to relate to them. 

all my reader-insert characters and fictional, romy-verse bts are written as queer individuals.

Okay, see, no one on here follows me for kpop, so you probably don't understand what's going on

Do you guys know what the "lunaverse" in my username stands for? It's a play on loonaverse. The fictional universe kpop girlgroup loona have set up through their mvs through the years.

I've been a fan of this group since 2017. For over 5 years now. After 2 years of predebut solos and unit projects, I watched their full group debut mv freezing on top of a mountain, begging the people i was climbing with for a few more minutes until we descended so i could watch the music video in its full length because i couldn't hear to wait until we were down again.

Over half a year ago, one of their 12 members sued the company to have more control over her own schedule. Later it turns out they'd overbooked her so much she couldn't join her own band on their first tour. In september, when I saw them live in Amsterdam, the remaining 11 members had been so overworked by a rushed and poorly planned tour that only 8 of them were able to come on stage at all. One of them was so overwhelmed and tired that she left during audience talks and walked off stage the moment a song ended. Another had injured her knee during the tour and had to sit to the side the whole concert.

In the middle of all this they release a japanese single. Chuu, the member who had to film ads while the rest of her group toured because of her label's horible planning, wasn't on it. They overworked her so much she couldn't even record a song with her own group.

Cut to today, and that member this company worked to the bones, to the point she wasn't able to participate in her own music group's actual music, has been kicked out. They say she was "abusive to staff." Everyone that's ever worked with her has come out to say that that's a bold-faced lie. Other members have revealed that in their 4 years of being in this group they have not actually received a single paycheck. In their announcement of kicking out a girl because she dared to object to their treatment of her, the company chooses to word that as "the LOONA members have never worked solely for profit or personal gain."

Fuck. This. Company.

I can't even be SAD that a group that meant so much to me is now incomplete because I am just too angry to feel anything else. Some of these girls have been under this label since they were just thirteen years old. Heejin has been putting her entire being into working ofr loona since 2016 and this is what she gets back for it? There are horror stories of the girls in their trainee days being weighed monthly and being so desperate they tried to break the scale before the routine weighing. (One of them did, she stomped on it til it broke. Management just bought a new one) stories of them at high school age having to smuggle in fruit in their backpacks because the company had them on a starvation diet.

I'm not sad Chuu is gone. I'm sad the other members are still there. I've been watching this horror story unfold for the past few years feeling more and more helpless as horrible details came out. How can you buy albums for a group whose music you love when you know the money so going to people that mistreat them? I was sitting in the line for that concert, hearing the annoucnement that yet another member was too sick to participate, and thinking that if they canceled the tour for the girls' health then and there I wouldn't even be mad, just relieved.

I don't know how to end this. There is no end. I hate this company, I hate what they've done to these people i genuinely care about, I hate that the industry is like this and they're going to get away with it. I hate that the other 11 girls are still trapped in their contracts for 3 more years. I hate that that concert with those 8 exhausted girls is likely the last time i'll see them and i'll never get go see all 12 of them together. I hate that I spent 5 years of my life loving loona with every fibre of my being and the people responsible for them never did the same.
