The soft aroma of garlic, tomatoes, and basil filled the air, mixing with the comforting warmth of your kitchen. You’d been looking forward to spending a quiet night in with Seongil after a busy week.

As you continued to stir, you heard the sound of the bathroom door opening. Before you could turn around, you felt two warm hands wrap around your waist, pulling you gently back against a strong chest. The scent of Seongil’s shower gel and fresh laundry surrounded you, and you couldn’t help but smile at how much you loved having him close.

“You smell so good,” he murmured softly in your ear, pressing a gentle kiss to your neck.

You giggled, trying to stay focused on the pot in front of you. “I’m just cooking dinner. You should’ve waited for me to finish,” you teased, but his touch was already making your heart race.

“I don’t want to wait,” Seongil replied, his voice low and playful. He moved closer, his hands sliding up your sides as he kissed your neck again, making you shiver. “Besides, you always smell good,” he added with a grin.

You closed your eyes for a second, losing yourself in the feel of his arms around you. “You’re distracting me,” you whispered, though you didn’t really want him to stop.

“Good,” he said, his hands gently turning you around to face him. His eyes sparkled with affection as he reached up, brushing a few stray hairs from your face. “I want all of your attention.”

Your heart skipped a beat as he leaned in, pressing his lips to yours in a soft, slow kiss. It was tender at first, a quiet promise of how much he cared. You wrapped your arms around his neck, savoring the moment, until the sound of the pot bubbling loudly brought you back to reality.

You broke the kiss with a soft laugh, turning to quickly lower the heat on the stove, both of you realizing how easily you’d gotten caught up in each other.

“Guess we got a little carried away,” Seongil said with a sheepish grin, resting his hands on your waist as you fixed the dinner. He placed another quick kiss to your cheek. “I’ll wait until dinner’s done… but only if I get one more than a kiss later.”

You smiled, shaking your head, but you couldn’t hide the warmth in your chest. “You’ll definitely get a kiss and but we’ll see about the rest,” you said, and with that, the two of you returned to making dinner together, but the atmosphere between you both was anything but ordinary.
