🎢 Which of your fics would you call your wildest ride?

I think that would have to be Of Darkness, Vampires, and Soulmates. What can I say? Writing a fic that included all the different time periods meant it was gonna be pretty wild… and it was also the fic, BY FAR, that got the most agonized screams as I was posting it. So, yeah… I’d have to say that was the fic that was the wildest ride.

🎃 Do you write fics for certain holidays? Which is your favorite holiday inspired fic?

I think I’ve written a Christmas fic for each Christmas I’ve been writing, I think… but my favorite that’s already been posted, by far, is A Christmas Surprise. Prompted on the csmm discord by @gingerpolyglot, it features returned from deployment Killian surprising his daughter Alice and meeting Emma at the same time. I say already posted, because, as you know, I have a continuation of that fic just waiting for December to get here. But I also have to say, the OTHER Christmas fic I have waiting for this year, is also VERY near and dear to my heart, and I can’t WAIT to share it!!!!

💞 Who's your comfort character?

Well, I at first thought this meant who was my favorite character to write, but then you had that specific question already in the list! So, I’m not quite sure exactly what this one means… but I think I’m gonna have to go with the same answer, Killian Jones. He’s my favorite character, and when it comes to his True Love, Emma Swan, they make me feel so warm and fuzzy inside and I just want to protect and defend them and read and write about them forever- in every universe, in every scenario, in every trope imaginable in which they have their happy beginning. *longest and happiest of sighs*

✅ What's something that appears in your fics over and over and over again, even if you don't mean to?

The only thing I can think of is soulmates. I was never a huge fan of soulmate fics when I was just a reader. I still read them, and there were a couple that I REALLY enjoyed, but as a whole, it wasn’t something that really appealed to me (And yes, I do see the irony of that statement since the argument could be made that since these two characters ALWAYS get their happy ending- in EVERY scenario- that EVERY fic out there is a soulmate fic…) anyway… for someone who was never a big fan of soulmates as a reader, I have 2 fics that specifically employ soulmates as a major plot point. 🤷🏻‍♀️

🤩 Who is your favorite character to write?

Killian Jones, hands down. He is so tortured, and so real, and so honorable, I just LOVE writing him.

I've answered this one before, but I'll do a different one! Hmmm... It doesn't make me laugh, but I think it's funny when Zisu and Akari gang up on Ingo in Loosen Up, and bully him into leaving the training grounds haha

🍦 What’s the sweetest fic you’ve created so far?

Also previously answered, but I can give another one! Probably Maintenance Check; that was written purely to give Ingo a break, and for him to help and comfort Akari through something he'd similarly dealt with before.

Usually the latter! I only outline for multi-chapter fics, like Heart Full, Bowl Empty, and I Won't Leave You Behind!

my italian regulus classical vocalist au, se sempre nel mio cuore🤭 regulus is fresh out of uni after graduating as a prodigy 23-year-old with his doctorate in vocal performance pedagogy. he’s renowned as the greatest countertenor of the age within the classical community, and although he loves what he does and singing gives him euphoria as a transmasc genderfluid person and an outlet since they’re selectively mute, they miss the life of normalcy they never got to have. in walks rich 33-year-old james “i haven’t sung in years and have no connection to the classical world so i have no idea who you are” potter who signs up for voice lessons because he’s just moved to florence to expand his business and needs a hobby desperately. regulus agrees over the phone to teach him not expecting much, then in walks this Literal God with the most beautiful baritone and regulus keeps giving him love arias in romance languages because he’s just so lovely. meanwhile james is also in love at first sight, and they both know it, so he uses the songs to charm up regulus as best he can, and regulus uses them to communicate her feelings.

Absolutely yes,

Id say impulsive I have two based on what work,

My very first (and fav) was my villain Shinsou Hitoshi (from a now semi permenant hiatus fic) who basically went "Fuck it we ball" finding out his best friend and extended found family were all villains (also he switched teams SO FUCKING FAST)

Tim from "Drakes Spoiled Brat" fits this actually very well. His impulse control is in the negatives. This guy went "Oh someones being harassed? Let me cause a distraction- this champage tower will work" The only reason it hasnt gone to shit is hes amazing at improving what the fuck he needs to do as damage control after said impulses.

🍍 What kind of AUs do you like? Are there any AUs you hate or just generally have beef with?

I've not written a ton of AUs myself but I like reading vampire or paranormal AUs, historical/royal AUs & sex club/work AUs (the dynamics are fascinating in relation to character building). I don't have anything I hate, I don't tend to read kidfic very often but I think that reflects on me being afraid to grow up (lol I'm 31) than anything else 😂

🍓 What’s a fic you’ve written you feel is underrated?

I could speak (or just let my body explain) - the third installment of Bigender Alex AU and also my first collaboration. I reread it a lot myself cause I love it. 

🍒 What’s your favorite character dynamic to write? (Can be romantic or platonic, specific or general!)

I love sibling banter, I'm an only child so I think I live vicariously through it 😂 I also love a grumpy/sunshine combo (romantic/platonic), I've working on some potential Dead Boy Detectives fics with a lot of this. 

🍊 Who’s a character you don’t write for that often, but keep meaning to write for more? (They’re so interesting! But maybe you have trouble pinning them down, or keep getting distracted by another blorbo…)

I have so many ideas for Beatrice (RWRB). And in general all the characters in other fandoms that aren't RWRB 😅

🥝 What’s your favorite trope/AO3 tag to write?

Probably canon-conpliant if I'm honest. Even when I was writing fanfic years ago for Skam etc, I stuck with canon mostly. I like getting to explore the internal vibes of characters once the dust has settled. I also like a bit of angst or hurt/comfort, while I explore darker topics on occasion, I don't leave the fic without resolution or support.

🍇 Is there a particular scene/episode/book/etc that you want to just write a million fics about, over and over? Which one?

I mean I feel like the 33 RWRB fics speak for themselves 😂 but I do have plans for Bridgerton, Dead Boy Detectives & My Lady Jane fics, especially now I have a little more free time (I say this but this year has just been so busy! Honestly so rude, people don't think to look at my writing schedule when they plan their life events)

🤲 Would you please share a snippet of a wip?

I feel like I've shared snippets from most of my WIPs already but here's one from the chapter I'm currently trying to edit, which is chapter 6 of A New Dawn (Begins With Us):

"Just drop it, kid."

A furrow appeared between Sa Wol's brows, his despair giving way to a scowl.

"Don't call me that."

Even if 5-8 knew it would be mean to insist, he could tell that he had to create more distance between them. Sa Wol wasn't likely to let go unless 5-8 pushed him away. Not to mention that 5-8 would much rather face Sa Wol's anger than that heartbreaking vulnerability.

"That's what you are," 5-8 replied, as if it should have been obvious.

Sa Wol clenched his hands, his jaw tight, but, to 5-8's surprise, he didn't reply. Then again, maybe Sa Wol had realized that protesting would only make him seem more childish.

Seconds ticked by and once 5-8 decided that Sa Wol wasn't going to respond, he moved to push past him.

5-8 couldn't say if Sa Wol had been waiting for that exact thing or if he'd simply decided he wasn't going to let 5-8 brush him off that easily. Either way, Sa Wol's hand shot out, his fingers curling around 5-8's collar. Reflexes took over, 5-8 falling back on instincts he wouldn't have been able to hold back even if he'd tried.

He dropped his mask and grabbed Sa Wol's wrist, giving it a twist — swift enough to make those grasping fingers slip — before his right hand closed around Sa Wol's throat, slamming him up against the wall.

What 5-8 wasn't prepared for was the sharp tug on his collar, noticing Sa Wol's other hand closing around it a split second too late to stop it. 5-8 was pulled forward, having just enough time to let go of Sa Wol's wrist in favor of trying to stop his momentum. The sound of his palm hitting the wall echoed through the house, but 5-8 barely heard it.

He was too focused on the fact that Sa Wol's face was suddenly less than a couple of centimeters away from his own.

Everything stilled.

The explosive burst of movement left an almost deafening silence behind, 5-8 staring down at Sa Wol, heart in his throat. He could feel a trickle of horrified guilt — for having reacted with such violence toward someone he cared about and wanted to protect — but, at the same time, he could tell that Sa Wol wasn't at all frightened by what had just happened.

He was glaring up at 5-8, gaze hard, his fingers tightening around 5-8's collar — as if to make sure he wouldn't pull away again. The stubbornness and lack of surprise in his expression made 5-8 realize that, most likely, Sa Wol had grabbed 5-8 on purpose, knowing full well what would happen if he did.

They had ended up exactly where Sa Wol wanted them to.

✅ What’s something that appears in your fics over and over and over again, even if you don’t mean to?

... angst?

I mean, there are certain phrases and themes that I also keep reusing without meaning to, but the biggest is honestly angst. I'm a fluff writer at heart but I'm also really fond of writing long and complex stories with in-depth character development and an unfortunate side effect of that is angst. Because some growth only seems to happen through suffering. I am very displeased.

Oh! Wait! I thought of another one: neck kinks.

Why do so many of the characters in my recent fics have neck kinks? Like, at this point I have to wonder if I have a neck kink? But I don't think so? They just seem to occur naturally without me even trying.

It's honestly baffling.

🤭 Do you have a favorite tag to use when posting your works?

Honestly no. Is that a thing? x'D

I add the tags that are appropriate and, lately, ones I think are funny because I like to pretend I'm a comedian. I have ones I use more frequently because many of my fics contain similar themes, but not ones I prefer over others.

I think the closest I might come to a "favourite tag" is "Maybe he's born with it maybe it's gaslighting." But that, again, is because I like to think I'm funny and I felt really clever for coming up with it xD I've used it both for my Devil Judge fics and my Strangers From Hell Zombie AU.

When Mulder and Scully say each other's names from like inches away and yet fit miles and miles of emotion into it. I am a puddle on the floor.

🛠What tools/programs/apps do you use to write?

I have a physical notebook (or nine) for jotting stuff down, main writing work takes place in Libre Writer, and sometimes I will print out a physical copy of a draft and go over it with a red pen because that's the only way I can edit without driving myself crazy. (I really do recommend doing some writing with actual physical media. It engages more senses and more areas of the brain I swear.)

🍌 In your opinion, what’s the funniest joke/reference/pun you’ve made in a fic?

This exchange from A Valentine for Alex still makes me giggle:

“Mm, you have a bit of an accent in the morning, too, love.” “That’s the Texan in me,” Alex says, leaning up to nibble on the soft spot behind Henry’s ear. “Speaking of which-” “Don’t,” Henry warns, though Alex can hear the smile on his face. “D’you want a little Texan in you?” Henry sighs heavily. “Actually, I’d prefer a big Texan in me. Do you happen to know one?” “Fuck you, sweetheart.” “Well, that’s the idea, love.”

🫐 What’s your favorite underrated thing in your fandom? (A ship that only you seem to write for, a character there’s almost no fics about, a trope that criminally hasn’t been written yet, etc.)

The fact that Alex was named after founding father Alexander Hamilton and Henry is British royalty, directly descended from those colonizers. I have this au in my head where Alex is playing the lead role in Hamilton on Broadway and Henry is playing King George and they dislike each other but then they get together. I want more fics in this kind of realm; I know it's kind of obscure, but my favorite romance trope is the two people who don't seem like they go together at all but then they do and it's perfect.

I'd also love some canon events from Pez's POV, I think that would be amazing!

The lake house. I have read several fics about what happened there when Henry left and I'd read a hundred more. Also, I ABSOLUTELY can't wait for fics inspired by RWRB2. 😭
