YAY! Hello and thank you for indulging me in another Fic Writer Asks game situation! For some reason these are like my favorite thing and I get so excited when people actually engage and send them in! If anyone else wants to send one the list can be found here.

🍣 What helps you focus or get in the mood to write?

I am pretty much always in the mood to write - the issue is having enough hours in the day to sit down and do it! However, I do write each new chapter in a new Google Doc and once its finished I then go and add it to the master document, I have found that helps me, especially with my longer fics, stop over thinking the chapters and just write. I also make sure to have my writing playlist all ready to go, because for some reason it is absolutely crucial that I listen to The Chainsmokers while I write 😂

Jason without a second thought kicked Tim in the face, sending him to the floor.

Tim (shocked, anger): What the fuck?!

Duke (deadpan): I said slap.

Jason: Oh right, hold on.

Jason helped Tim up and then back hand slapped him across the face. Tim spun around and collapsed to the ground again.

Tim: Ow, I bit my cheek that time!

Tim moaned in pain.

Jason (pretending to be ignorant): Wait did you say favorite brother? I thought you meant if I had to slap one.

Tim: You know that's not what he said!

Duke (amused): You'd win, but Holy pimp slap Batman. Damn!

Tim: How much can I get for this?

Tim kicked Jason in his crotch causing the man to fall to the ground as well. Duke took a sip from his coffee mug trying not to laugh.

So background info is that I have an outline for a story and though I'm not sure how long it'll be I do know it'll be at least over 50 chapters. I'm just stuck on if I should make it be a tragedy or full of angst with a happy ending

I've recently started watching Psych and I've come up with my own oc/self-insert because I'm desperate for fics lol. So here is a basic rundown of her relationships with the main group:

Friends with Gus and Shawn (obviously)

I'm thinking she met Gus through work (she's a nurse) or they all just crossed paths one day and Shawn decided she was their new best friend (a la the looney tunes show)

Shares custody of Shawn, if Gus is busy with work or has just had enough of Shawn for a bit, she joins him on his cases instead and/or tries to keep him entertained

I'm unsure if she knows that Shawn is faking being a psychic or not, I'm thinking she's eventually let in on the bit so they have someone else in their corner helping them do the grunt work, but until then she's sceptical but goes along with it regardless because it's fun to watch

Gets on well with Juliet, they started hanging out outside of cases when she invited Juliet out with her friends because she knows what it's like to be new in town not knowing many people. they soon have a 'you're not insane and neither am I (both clearly insane)' thing going on and the others try to avoid leaving them alone unsupervised

Lassiter immediately writes her off due to her association with Shawn but slowly warms up to her and to his horror, finds himself falling for her (much to Juliet, their number one shipper's, delight)

Henry is kind of a father figure to her, with her family living elsewhere he kind of steps in to help her with various things (car trouble, maintenance issues, no one to fish with etc.) and they become quite close. she loves to annoy Shawn by saying she's Henry's favourite (she gets away with more/lectured less than him and Gus)

hello my fav writer, im curious abt ur top 5 ryeji fics 🧐

OKAY this was both hard to answer and easy to answer bc i'm good at remember to bookmark my faves (and also reread them all LMAO). that being said!! the below list is not in order, there are honorable mentions, and there's just so much incredible ryeji fic out there that it feels wild to just say 5.

if you haven’t read what’s in a name and you read ryeji fic…… please read it right now? it’s not only my favorite ryeji fic, it’s one of my fave stories of all time (including published shit like this fucking fic is a tour de force). it’s simply one of the most beautiful things i’ve ever read and i could not recommend it enough. (this author’s writing is so good i started watching warrior nun just so i can one day enjoy their warrior nun fics i’m so for real right now)

all or nothing (unfortunately orphaned 😭)

all or nothing is one of my comfort fics. it’s a perfect little two shot and idk how many times i’ve read it. the characterization is just lovely. the ryeji relationship is warm and soft and slow and sweet and inevitable (which you know is just how i like it). perfect amount of getting to know each other, perfect amount of pining, a dreamy dreamy yeji it’s just elite

this fic….. read it please if you haven’t it’s criminally underrated. the fact that it has fewer than 2k hits is actually insane to me. idol yeji and producer ryu and they just fall in love and it’s low drama and perfect and another comfort fic of mine. idk what to say, it’s a 6k one shot, so honestly just read (or reread) it now and thank me later

i was considering not including a qaisal fic on this list, but that doesn’t feel right or honest, like there’s a reason they’re top of the tag!! i think muse is my personal fave (and one of the first ryeji fics i’ve ever read, which is probably true for many! if you’ve somehow read my fics and haven’t read muse i am confused, but it’s just cute as hell! i’m too old to write a high school au, so it’s very nice to have an elite one like this to read and reread when i wanna feel warm and fuzzy inside

this fic…. also one of the first ryeji fics i read. i don’t generally read gp, but when it’s good it’s good, and YAMO is so fucking good. idk how many times i’ve read it. snow has this unfair ability to tie like so much yearning and history and backstory and tension in these simple moments. and then they combine it with some really hot shit? elite smut fic like it’s an all time classic!!!

I like that Reigen is dramatic, but as a person, he's actually not that emotional. He's over the top but he doesn't really tell people how he feels. And when he does, it's framed as a joke most of the time.

hey, just wondering how did W1 come to be did V1 take mercy on V2, and scrapped their body into their own?

was it because V1 wanted to get more armored plating or find out how to make the cool robotics V2 does

the process seems to be gradual, so.... it was not a split second decision.

i'm excited to learn more about W1!

I am currently quite confident in HOW they came to be, but not how to share that information.

W1's merge happens before in-game canon events!

It was not V1 that took V2 apart here. Quite the opposite.

I don't think V1 would care to take mercy on V2 in canon. But I do think V2 has the capability of doing someone wrong and feeling guilt. It's just a combination of how I view her personality + how she is more socialized due to being intended as a guard. So I am taking that concept and running with it.

V2 does something she regrets doing. And ends up trying to make up for it.

In whatever means she can manage.

Cass covered her eyes as Stephanie was getting changed. The blonde covered her bare chest by wrapping her arms like she was hugging herself, but seeing Cass made her smile.

Cass blushed, her eyes darting around her room and she quickly grabbed her phone and dialed the number of someone who might understand the most.

Barbara (yawning): Hello-

Cass (speaking quickly): I had a sexy dream about Stephanie! What do I do?!

Barbara sighed.

Barbara: This is the one time having sex with Dick comes in handy and it's at fucking three in the morning.

i don't have any favorite pieces of prose, tbh. i mean i have a couple fics that are probably my favorites as a whole? but i'm not really exactly proud of anything to the point to be able to single something i've written - and i've written a lot - out and be like "yes, this is my favorite thing and here's why". i guess that's against the spirit of the question but i really don't know how to answer this one.

I’m basically like Icarus rn (turning in SBI Mcyt fanfiction to a creative writing class for a manuscript (even though I know it will be read by a classmate (that lacks a filter) who writes dsmp fics and might recognize the (names changed bc they’re in witness protection (and one (1) gender change bc god dangit there’s barely any women in this fandom)) characters being used (she might blurt out that it’s fanfic (I know my professor writes fanfics (MCU) but she said this has to be an original piece of work) to the whole class (death mortification abhorrent)) that’s worth 1/4th of my grade) so wish me luck ig.
